Update to 1.03

Upstream changes:
1.03  2013-04-17

- The set_time_zone() method was not returning the object when caalled with a
name that matched the current zone. Reported by Noel Maddy. RT #84699.

1.02  2013-04-15

- When a constructor method like new() or today() was called on an object,
you'd get an error message like 'Can't locate object method
"_normalize_nanoseconds" via package "2013-04-15T00:00:00"'. This has been
fixed to provide a sane error message. Patch by Doug Bell.

- When set_time_zone() is called with a name that matches the current time
zone, DateTime now short circuits and avoids a lot of work. Patch by Mark
  Stosberg.

Updated comms/asterisk to 11.5.1

(jnemeth)

2013-08-30 05:49:51 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to Asterisk 11.5.1: this is a security fix release to fix
AST-2013-004 and AST-2013-005.

The Asterisk Development Team has announced security releases for
Certified Asterisk 1.8.15, 11.2, and Asterisk 1.8, 10, and 11. The
available security rele ases are released as versions 1.8.15-cert2,
11.2-cert2, 1.8.23.1, 10.12.3, 10.12.3-di giumphones, and 11.5.1.

The release of these versions resolve the following issues:

* A remotely exploitable crash vulnerability exists in the SIP
channel driver if an ACK with SDP is received after the channel
has been terminated.  The handling code incorrectly assumes that
the channel will always be present.

* A remotely exploitable crash vulnerability exists in the SIP
channel driver if an invalid SDP is sent in a SIP request that
defines media descriptions before connection information. The
handling code incorrectly attempts to reference the socket address
information even though that information has not yet been set.

These issues and their resolutions are described in the security advisories.

For more information about the details of these vulnerabilities,
please read security advisories AST-2013-004 and AST-2013-005,
which were released at the same time as this announcement.

For a full list of changes in the current releases, please see the ChangeLogs:

Updated lang/sbcl to 1.1.11

(asau)

2013-08-28 17:43:51 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to SBCL 1.1.11

Note that contrary to last month's message, the increased type
opacity in the compiler has not been fixed in this release cycle.

changes in sbcl-1.1.11 relative to sbcl-1.1.10:
  * enhancement: support building the manual under texinfo version 5.
    (lp#1189146)
  * enhancement: Windows builds no longer display the "Kitten of Death" message.
A warning is instead appended to the regular banner, and may be muted with
    --noinform.  (lp#728247)
  * enhancement: support building under new linker handling of syscalls under
    NetBSD.  (thanks to Robert Swindells)
  * bug fix: undefined function errors are now properly reported on PPC and MIPS.
    (regression since 1.1.9)
  * bug fix: (funcall (function X junk)) didn't causes an error when X had a
compiler macro.  (thanks to Douglas Katzman).
  * bug fix: signal a warning when defining a setf-function when a
setf-expander is already present.  (thanks to Douglas Katzman).
  * bug fix: improved threading on PPC.
  * bug fix: ROOM works again on Windows.  (lp#1206456)
  * bug fix: Streams were flushed even when there was one byte still left in
    the buffer. (lp#910213)
  * bug fix: OPEN handles correctly when :if-exists and :if-does-not-exist are
either NIL or :ERROR.  (reported by Jan Moringen)

As well as the release notes, appended below, it is worth noting
that some internal changes related to the optimization of type
tests for bounded positive integers might cause performance
regressions in code that dispatches based on the type of objects,
as in for example
  (typecase x
    ((unsigned-byte 24) ...[1])
    (t ...))
where in the region of code marked ...[1] the compiler could be expected
to infer that x was of type (unsigned-byte 24), but currently fails to
do so.  This can be worked around by inserting an explicit declaration,
and the developers hope to address this in the next release cycle.

changes in sbcl-1.1.10 relative to sbcl-1.1.9:
  * enhancement: ASDF has been updated to 3.0.2.
  * optimization: stack frames are packed more efficiently on x86oids, which
ought to reduce the frequency of Methuselahn conservative references (it
    certainly helps with gc.impure.lisp / BUG-936304 on x86).
  * optimization: on x86 and x86-64, integer negation forms like (- x) are now
recognized in modular arithmetic contexts, and compile to native negate,
rather than going through bignums only to keep the low bits.
  * bug fix: Compiling potential modularic arithmetic forms does not cause type
errors when some integer types lack lower or upper bounds. (lp#1199127)
  * bug fix: Non-trivial modular arithmetic forms are always cut to the right
bitwidth before being used in a non-modular context. (lp#1199428)
  * bug fix: Multiple catch/unwind blocks in a single function are now
allocated in the right stack order on win32. (lp#1072739)

changes in sbcl-1.1.9 relative to sbcl-1.1.8:
  * new feature: the contrib SB-GMP links with libgmp at runtime to speed
up arithmetic on bignums and ratios.  (contributed by Stephan Frank)
  * enhancement: disassemble now annotates some previously missing static
    functions, like LENGTH.
  * enhancement: clean.sh now also cleans doc/internals.
  * enhancement: SB-EXT:PRINT-SYMBOL-WITH-PREFIX can be used within ~// to
print a symbol with a package prefix.
  * enhancement: The debugger and backtracing are more robust against buggy
    PRINT-OBJECT methods.
  * optimization: calls to static functions on x86-64 use less instructions.
  * optimization: compute encode-universal-time at compile time when possible.
  * optimization: when referencing internal functions as #'x, don't go through
    an indirect fdefn structure.
  * optimization: SLEEP doesn't cons on non-immediate floats and on ratios.
  * optimization: (mod fixnum) type-checks are performed using one unsigned
    comparison, instead of two.
  * optimization: enable more modular arithmetic transforms in the presence of
    conditionals.
  * optimization: bitwise OR forms can now trigger modular arithmetic as well,
when the result is known to be negative.
  * optimization: recognize more cases of useless LOGAND/LOGIOR with constants.
  * optimization: comparisons between rationals and constant floats or between
integers and constant ratios are now converted to rationals/integers at
    compile time.
  * optimization: Smaller and faster DOUBLE-FLOAT-LOW-BITS on x86-64.
  * bug fix: problems with NCONC type derivation (reported by Jerry James).
  * bug fix: EXPT type derivation no longer constructs bogus floating-point
    types.  (reported by Vsevolod Dyomkin)
  * bug fix: sb-bsd-sockets has correct declaration of the canonname field of
addrinfo. (lp#1187041, patch by Jerry James)
  * bug fix: uninitialized type-error conditions can now be printed.
    (lp#1184586)
  * bug fix: tests for sb-bsd-sockets no longer use a predefined port for
listening, allowing several tests to run in parallel.
  * bug fix: during disassembly to *COMPILER-TRACE-OUTPUT* instruction
prefixes as used on x86 and x86-64 no longer sometimes print incorrectly.
    (lp#1085729)
  * bug fix: Specialised SIMD-PACK types can be negated.
  * bug fix: Modular arithmetic is more robust. (incidentally fixes another bug
    reported by Eric Marsden)
  * bug fix: FP return values from foreign calls are always rounded to single
or double float precision on x87.
  * bug fix: Known-safe vector access on x86oids should not fail spuriously
when the index is of the form (+ x constant-positive-integer).
  * bug fix: Remove GPL-licensed files from source distribution. (lp#1185668)
  * bug fix: backtrace printer no longer tries to create very large lists when
the arg-count register is clobberred by other code. (lp#1192929)
  * bug fix: x86 should never signal an FP exception while boxing an FP value,
a situation that lands us into ldb.

Updated devel/libev to 4.15

(fhajny)

2013-08-28 12:34:59 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

4.15 Fri Mar  1 12:04:50 CET 2013
- destroying a non-default loop would stop the global waitpid
  watcher (Denis Bilenko).
- queueing pending watchers of higher priority from a watcher now invokes
them in a timely fashion (reported by Denis Bilenko).
- add throw() to all libev functions that cannot throw exceptions, for
further code size decrease when compiling for C++.
- add throw () to callbacks that must not throw exceptions (allocator,
syserr, loop acquire/release, periodic reschedule cbs).
- fix event_base_loop return code, add event_get_callback, event_base_new,
event_base_get_method calls to improve libevent 1.x emulation and add
some libevent 2.x functionality (based on a patch by Jeff Davey).
- add more memory fences to fix a bug reported by Jeff Davey. Better
  be overfenced than underprotected.
- ev_run now returns a boolean status (true meaning watchers are
  still active).
- ev_once: undef EV_ERROR in ev_kqueue.c, to avoid clashing with
  libev's EV_ERROR (reported by 191919).
- (ecb) add memory fence support for xlC (Darin McBride).
- (ecb) add memory fence support for gcc-mips (Anton Kirilov).
- (ecb) add memory fence support for gcc-alpha (Christian Weisgerber).
- work around some kernels losing file descriptors by leaking
the kqueue descriptor in the child.
- work around linux inotify not reporting IN_ATTRIB changes for directories
  in many cases.
- include sys/syscall.h instead of plain syscall.h.
- check for io watcher loops in ev_verify, check for the most
common reported usage bug in ev_io_start.
- chose socket vs. WSASocket at compiletime using EV_USE_WSASOCKET.
- always use WSASend/WSARecv directly on windows, hoping that this
works in all cases (unlike read/write/send/recv...).
- try to detect signals around a fork faster (test program by
  Denis Bilenko).
- work around recent glibc versions that leak memory in realloc.
- rename ev::embed::set to ev::embed::set_embed to avoid clashing
the watcher base set (loop) method.
- rewrite the async/signal pipe logic to always keep a valid fd, which
simplifies (and hopefuly correctifies :) the race checking
on fork, at the cost of one extra fd.
- add fat, msdos, jffs2, ramfs, ntfs and btrfs to the list of
  inotify-supporting filesystems.
- move orig_CFLAGS assignment to after AC_INIT, as newer autoconf
  versions ignore it before
  (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=908096).
- add some untested android support.
- enum expressions must be of type int (reported by Juan Pablo L).

4.11 Sat Feb  4 19:52:39 CET 2012
- INCOMPATIBLE CHANGE: ev_timer_again now clears the pending status, as
was documented already, but not implemented in the repeating case.
- new compiletime symbols: EV_NO_SMP and EV_NO_THREADS.
- fix a race where the workaround against the epoll fork bugs
caused signals to not be handled anymore.
- correct backend_fudge for most backends, and implement a windows
specific workaround to avoid looping because we call both
select and Sleep, both with different time resolutions.
- document range and guarantees of ev_sleep.
- document reasonable ranges for periodics interval and offset.
- rename backend_fudge to backend_mintime to avoid future confusion :)
- change the default periodic reschedule function to hopefully be more
exact and correct even in corner cases or in the far future.
- do not rely on -lm anymore: use it when available but use our
own floor () if it is missing. This should make it easier to embed,
as no external libraries are required.
- strategically import macros from libecb and mark rarely-used functions
as cache-cold (saving almost 2k code size on typical amd64 setups).
- add Symbols.ev and Symbols.event files, that were missing.
- fix backend_mintime value for epoll (was 1/1024, is 1/1000 now).
- fix #3 "be smart about timeouts" to not "deadlock" when
timeout == now, also improve the section overall.
- avoid "AVOIDING FINISHING BEFORE RETURNING" idiom.
- support new EV_API_STATIC mode to make all libev symbols
  static.
- supply default CFLAGS of -g -O3 with gcc when original CFLAGS
  were empty.

Add a new use_bsdinstall variable which, if set to 'yes', will use bsdinstall
instead of install-sh on platforms which need a BSD install.  The install-sh
script is still used during the bootstrap process regardless.

Default to 'yes' on SunOS.  Other platforms can migrate over once they confirm
that sysutils/bsdinstall builds correctly.

Add bsdinstall-20130828 to pkgsrc.

This is a portable version of NetBSD's install(1) program, and is intended
to be used as a replacement for the install-sh script on platforms which do
not have a native BSD install program.  The install-sh script does not
support file names with spaces, and this version should be more robust.

This portable version does not include mtree, futimes and chflags support.

Tested in a full SmartOS bulk build with no apparent issues.

Update p5-Quota to 1.7.0.
PR pkg/48144.

Changes in 1.7.0 (August 2013)
- Added support for the new NetBSD 6.0 quota system (libquota)
Thanks to David Holland and Edgar Fuss
- To support limits and usage >= 2^32 on 32-bit clients, Quota::setqlim
and Quota::query interfaces were changed to use double (NV) instead
of integer (IV). This should be transparent to users of the module.

Update scamper to 20130824.  Scamper's homepage (and code) has shifted.
PR pkg/48156

* add a sc_warts2json utility program that prints out JSON renderings
of trace, ping, and dealias objects in scamper warts files.  this is
useful when developing simple analysis programs in perl.  the
initial implementation of JSON output for ping and trace was
supplied by Internap.  Thanks a lot Internap!

* add a sc_speedtrap utility program that resolves a set of IPv6
interfaces for aliases (which interfaces belong to the same router).
  documented in sc_speedtrap(1) man page.
  http://www.caida.org/~mjl/pubs/speedtrap.pdf

* add a sc_ipiddump utility program that prints out all IPIDs received
in ping and dealias objects.  documented in sc_ipiddump(1) man page.
in ping and dealias objects.  documented in sc_ipiddump(1) man page.

in scamper:
* output json objects with -O json
* add -O debugfileappend, causing the debugfile to be appended to
  rather than truncated
* do not output debugging information to stderr if NDEBUG was
  specified
* drain fds that are not used by any measurement but have not been
  closed yet
* improve the use of poll()
* allow a control socket client to specify its mixing priority
* correctly interpret the neighbour discovery cache sysctl on MacOS.
* fix build on MacOS systems without IPFW.
* fixes prompted by clang static analysis.
* fixes prompted by clang static analysis.

in sc_analysis_dump:
* improvements to the comment header printed automatically at the start
* add -M option to print out MPLS headers in ICMP extensions.
* add -Q option to print out Quoted IP TTL
* add -T option to print out the IP TTL of the response packet

in scamper-ping
* implement stats function so that the stats printed are not junk
* add an -M <mtu> option which causes scamper to send a PTB in
response to a packet larger than the given size.
* add a -P icmp-time option which causes ping to send ICMP timestamp
  requests.
  requests.

in scamper-sting:
* various improvements in the hole filling phase.
* add -U <userid>

in scamper-dealias:
* implement IPv6 support for Ally and RadarGun which is induced by
sending ICMP echo packets larger than a given pseudo MTU size
(causing a responses to be fragmented and thus an ID field revealed.
* implement IPv6 support for Mercator
* be more strict in declaring two interfaces to be aliases: infer
the byte ordering by determining if the shortest distance in a
sequence of ID values is in byte-swapped or not, and then using
  that byte ordering mode.

* "git rebase -i" now honors --strategy and -X options.
* Git-gui has been updated to its 0.18.0 version.
* MediaWiki remote helper (in contrib/) has been updated to use the

* Update build for Cygwin 1.[57].  Torsten B旦gershausen reports that
this is fine with Cygwin 1.7 ($gmane/225824) so let's try moving it
  ahead.
* The credential helper to talk to keychain on OS X (in contrib/) has
been updated to kick in not just when talking http/https but also
  imap(s) and smtp.
* Remote transport helper has been updated to report errors and
maintain ref hierarchy used to keep track of its own state better.
* With "export" remote-helper protocol, (1) a push that tries to
update a remote ref whose name is different from the pushing side
does not work yet, and (2) the helper may not know how to do
--dry-run; these problematic cases are disabled for now.
* git-remote-hg/bzr (in contrib/) updates.
* git-remote-mw (in contrib/) hints users to check the certificate,
  when https:// connection failed.
* git-remote-mw (in contrib/) adds a command to allow previewing the
contents locally before pushing it out, when working with a
  MediaWiki remote.

Reverse patch applied in 1.485
It was "2) eval and --delete2foldersonly --delete2foldersbutnot that need also good escaping."
The "good" escaping was bad. No escaping needed. It permits imapsync variables like ${h2_sep}
in --delete2foldersonly
But good escaping has to be done in parameter value like --delete2foldersbutnot /\[Gmail\]/
instead of --delete2foldersbutnot /[Gmail]/ (for example).

Improved the way imapsync deals with headers:
- Stopped getting first 2KB of message. Not a good idea.
- If $imap2->parse_headers() fails then take the whole header (instead of body).
- Default is like --useheader Message-Id --useheader Message-ID
- Use header Message-Id and header Date as sig md5 when taking the whole header.

Better output in debug mode.

2013-08-26 01:44:15 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.46

Upstream changes:
What's new in v1.46 since v1.44:

Thanks to Rik Signes, there is a new
        Text::Template->append_text_to_output method, which
Text::Template always uses whenever it wants to emit output.
You can subclass this to get control over the output, for
        example for postprocessing.

A spurious warning is no longer emitted when the TYPE
        parameter to ->new is omitted.

This release of paexec was successfully tested on the following

  Solaris-10/sparc, Solaris-11/amd64 and diverse Linux/{i386,amd64}.

paexec is now selfcontained, libmaa is not needed anymore.

Presentation paexec.pdf was added to presentation/. I hope it will
help easier understand how "paexec" works. It is installed to
  ${DOCDIR}.

  paexec:
    - POSIX-2008 getline(3) is used for reading lines
      instead of home-made function.
    - t '' is equivalent to "no transport", spaces are trimmed.
    - "-n +NNN" has higher priority than -t, i.e. if they both are
      specified, transport is ignored.
    - Fix for -W1.
    - Environment variable PAEXEC_EOT was introduced.
    - Option -y was added to paexec(1) and paexec_reorder(1).
    - Option -C was added to paexec(1).

  paexec_reorder:
    - Option -x was added to paexec_reorder(1).

Import Archive::Any::Lite-0.07 as archivers/p5-Archive-Any-Lite.

Archive::Any::Lite is a fork of Archive::Any. The main difference is this works
properly even when you fork(), and may require less memory to extract a tarball.
On the other hand, this isn't pluggable (this only supports file formats used in
the CPAN toolchains), and this doesn't check mime types (at least as of this

Update to 0.31

Upstream changes:
0.31  2013-08-07

    - Change proof certificate documentation to reflect the new text format.

    - Some platforms were using __int128 when it wasn't supported.  Only
x86_64 and Power64 use it now.

    - Small speedup for ranged totient internals.

    - Patch MPU::GMP 0.13 giving us not quite what we expected from a small
certificate.  Fixed in MPU::GMP 0.14, worked around here regardless.

0.30  2013-08-06

    [API Changes]
      - Primality proofs now use the new "MPU Certificate" format, which is
text rather than a nested Perl data structure.  This is much better
for external interaction, especially with non-Perl tools.  It is
not quite as convenient for all-Perl manipulation.

    [Functions Added]
      - is_frobenius_underwood_pseudoprime
      - is_almost_extra_strong_lucas_pseudoprime
      - lucas_sequence
      - pplus1_factor

    [Enhancements]
      - Documentation and PP is_prime changed to use extra strong Lucas test
from the strong test.  This matches what the newest MPU::GMP does.
This has no effect at all for numbers < 2^64.  No counter-example is
known for the standard, strong, extra strong, or almost extra strong
(increment 1 or 2) tests.  The extra strong test is faster than the
strong test and produces fewer pseudoprimes.  It retains the residue
class properties of the strong Lucas test (where the SPSP-2
pseudoprimes favor residue class 1 and the Lucas pseudoprimes favor
residue class -1), hence should retain the BPSW test strength.

      - XS code for all 4 Lucas tests.

      - Clean up is_prob_prime, also ~10% faster for n >= 885594169.

      - Small mulmod speedup for non-gcc/x86_64 platforms, and for any platform
        with gcc 4.4 or newer.

    [Bug Fixes]
      - Fixed a rare refcount / bignum / callback issue in next_prime.

Update ipv6-toolkit to version 1.4 from 1.3.4

Pkgsrc changes:
+ quieten warnings from gcc 4.5.3 about uninitialised variables

Distribution changes:
SI6 Networks' IPv6 Toolkit v1.4 release

  * frag6: Fixed the flooding option
Fixed the fragment size used when employing the flooding option. It was
prevously sending fragment sizes that where not a multiple of eight, and
    hence these fragments were dropped.

  * scan6: Added support for 64-bit encoding of IPv4 addresses
Option "--tgt-ipv4" was augmented to support both encodings (32 bit
and 64 bit) of embedded IPv4 addresses.

  * tcp6: Fixed response to Neighbor Solicitations
tcp6 was not responding to incomming Neighbor Solicitations. Hence, when
packets were sent from spoofed addresses, tcp6 would never receive the
response packets, because the NSs sent by the local router or target node
    would never be responded.

  * tcp6: Added support for TCP Window-based attacks
tcp6 can now close the window after sending an app-layer command, and
also "modulate" the TCP window to circumvent trivial mitigations for these
    attacks ("--window-mode" and "--win-modulate" options).

  * tcp6: Support for multiple connection-establishment types
tcp6 can now cause e.g. TCP simultaneous opens (see the "--open-mode"
    option).

  * tcp6: Support for multiple connection-termination types
tcp6 can now perform multiple connection-termination types (see the
    "--close-mode" option).

  * tcp6: Support for sending application layer requests
tcp6 can now send application-layer requests with the "--data" option.

  * Many improvements to the manual pages.
Fixed the troff encoding of many manual pages. Added ipv6toolkit(7), that
describes a general description of the toolkit.

  * All: Fixed bug in link-layer destination address selection
Tools now try to find a local router or perform Neighbor Discovery only
when necessary (i.e., underlying link-layer is *not* loopback or tunnel,
destination address is *not* link-local, and a link-layer destination
    address has *not* been specified).

  * All: Fixed bug in option handling
Incorrect data type was used for the return value of getopt_long(), thus
leading to problems in some architectures.

  * All: Fixed a number of issues with pcap_next_ex()
The timeout parameter of pcap_next_ex() is now based on the platform (the
previous constant value had different semantics in different platforms).
Additionally, handle the case where pcap_next_ex() returns no packets.

  * All: General improvements and clean-up
The development process now includes building the toolkit with the clang
compiler (in addition to gcc), which has lead to the identification of a
    number of issues.

  * All: Improved support for building the toolkit.
The toolkit now contains one makefile for pmake, and another for GNU make.
Added support for the DESTDIR variable. Appropriate paths are selected
based on the value of a number of variables. Configuration file is
dynamically generated, with the right path to the oui.txt file.
