Updated games/frozen-bubble to 2.2.0

(wiz)

2012-03-04 22:27:08 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 2.2.0 based on pkgsrc-wip version by Leonardo Taccari.

Frozen-Bubble 2.2.0 is released to fix some more small bugs, and
add a couple of minor to medium features. Highlights:

    more options in LAN/NET games (continue game when players leave;
    disable player targetting)
    fixed abort during a multiplayer game with a player in lowest
    graphics mode
    much faster Internet servers listing (parallel discovery)
    add ability to record and replay games; also add ability to
    save frames from records, so as to create high quality videos
    of games [ on youtube | video file ]
    geolocalized nicks in server lounge

Frozen-Bubble 2.1.0 is released to fix all the bugs encountered in
2.0.0 (all reported aborts should be fixed) and add a few interesting
small features. Features highlights:

    1-player multiplayer training: ability to activate chain reaction
    world map: you can view the amount of playing players, which
    helps chosing a server
    world map: you see playing players as green dots
    network game lounge: you can toggle fullscreen
    network game lounge: the game creator can activate chain-reaction
    and set a victories limit through options
    network game lounge: you can request server info
    network game lounge: chat is timestampped
    multiplayer: you can view who's attacking you

After a lot of hard work and a lot of testing, FB2 is released on
27th of October 2006. This new release brings the following new
features:

    new 1-player game mode: multiplayer training; uses identical
    game rules as multiplayer, generated malus bubbles are counted
    as points - what score will you be able to reach in the 2
    minutes time frame?
    network (Internet) game: up to 5 players in a game (net game
    system has logic able to transparently handle players behind
    a NAT)
    LAN game: similar to network game except that no connection to
    Internet is made, substituted by polling the local network
    fully revamped graphics, including now 3d-based smooth penguin
    eyecandy
    revamped intro and 1p music into fully digital productions
    full joystick support: just move your joystick(s) or push
    buttons in the "change keys" dialog (analog joysticks handled
    as digital for fair play)
    realtime graphical effects in the menu screen (if your computer
    is fast enough)
    anti-aliased and localized messages

Now let's pray for the stability of the Frozen-Bubble Internet game
servers (check the top of the page which contains an ever-updated
aggregate statistical information about all servers).

        + Add : You can now pass a reference to undef as the magic callback in
                order to install a no-op callback.
                Thanks Florian Ragwitz for the suggestion.

0.47    2011-10-27 16:55 UTC
        + Add : The new constant VMG_COMPAT_HASH_DELETE_NOUVAR_VOID evaluates
                to true when "delete $hash{key}" does not call 'delete' uvar
                magic in void context.
        + Chg : The MAGIC tokens created by this module no longer use the
                mg_private member for storing a "magical" signature.
        + Fix : Triggering magic in a thread on a variable cloned from the main
                interpreter, and when the wizard already went out of scope,
                will not segfault anymore.
        + Opt : The pointer table is no longer needed to ensure thread safety.
                The size of the object code is about 8% smaller for threaded
                perls.
        + Tst : Threads tests will not fail anymore if resources constraints
                prevent the system from creating all the required threads.

Update dvipsk to 5.991.

Changes:
* output.c (hvpos): recover the old code in hvpos() for japanese
because the changed code leads to incorrect result in some cases.
other cases than japanese are not affected.
* writet1.c (t1_check_unusual_charstring): new fn.
(t1_subset_charstrings): call it.  This resolves a bug reported by
Knuth when there is a newline between the /CharStrings and the
following number (dict size).

Updated devel/automake to 1.11.3

(wiz)

2012-03-03 12:58:13 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.11.3:

New in 1.11.3:

* WARNING: Future backward-incompatibilities!

  - The support for the "obscure" multilib feature has been deprecated,
    and will be moved out of the automake core in the next major Automake
    release (1.12).

  - The support for ".log -> .html" conversion and the check-html and
    recheck-html targets will be removed in the next major Automake
    release (1.12).

  - The obsolescent AM_WITH_REGEX  macro has been deprecated (since the
    GNU rx library has been decommissioned), and will be removed in the
    next major Automake release (1.12).

  - The `lzma' compression format for distribution archives has been
    deprecated in favor of `xz' and `lzip', and will be removed in the
    next major Automake release (1.12).

  - The `--acdir' option of aclocal is deprecated, and will probably be
    removed in the next major Automake release (1.12).

  - The exact order in which the directories in the aclocal macro
    search path are looked up is probably going to be changed in the
    next Automake release (1.12).

  - The Automake support for automatic de-ANSI-fication will be removed
    in the next major Automake release (1.12).

  - Starting from the next Automake release (1.12), warnings in the
    `extra-portability' category will be enabled by `-Wall' (right now,
    one has to use `-Wextra-portability' explicitly).

* Miscellaneous changes:

  - Automake's own build system is more silent by default, making use of
    the 'silent-rules' option.

  - The master copy of the `gnupload' script is now maintained in gnulib,
    not in automake.

  - The `missing' script doesn't try to wrap calls to `tar' anymore.

  - "make dist" doesn't wrap `tar' invocations with the `missing' script
    anymore.  Similarly, the obsolescent variable `$(AMTAR)' (which you
    shouldn't be using BTW ;-) does not invoke the missing script anymore
    to wrap tar, but simply invokes the `tar' program itself.

  - "make dist" can now create lzip-compressed tarballs.

  - In the Automake info documentation, the Top node and the nodes about
    the invocation of the automake and aclocal programs have been renamed;
    now, calling "info automake" will open the Top node, while calling
    "info automake-invocation" and "info aclocal-invocation" will access
    the nodes about the invocation of respectively automake and aclocal.

  - Automake is now distributed as a gzip-compressed and an xz-compressed
    tarball.  Previously, bzip2 was used instead of xz.

  - The last relics of Python 1.5 support have been removed from the
    AM_PATH_PYTHON macro.

  - For programs and libraries, automake now detects EXTRA_foo_DEPENDENCIES
    and adds them to the normal list of dependencies, but without
    overwriting the foo_DEPENDENCIES variable, which is normally computed
    by automake.

Bugs fixed in 1.11.3:

* Bugs introduced by 1.11.2:

  - Automake now correctly recognizes the prefix/primary combination
  `pkglibexec_SCRIPTS' as valid.

  - The parallel-tests harness doesn't trip anymore on sed implementations
    with stricter limits on the length of input lines (problem seen at
    least on Solaris 8).

* Long-standing bugs:

  - The "deleted header file problem" for *.am files is avoided by stub
    rules.  This allows `make' to trigger a rerun of `automake' also if
    some previously needed `.am' file has been removed.

  - The `silent-rules' option now generates working makefiles even
    for the uncommon `make' implementations that do not support the
    nested-variables extension to POSIX 2008.  For such `make'
    implementations, whether a build is silent is determined at
    configure time, and cannot be overridden at make time with
    `make V=0' or `make V=1'.

  - Vala support now works better in VPATH setups.

New in 1.11.2:

* Changes to aclocal:

  - The `--acdir' option is deprecated.  Now you should use the new options
    `--automake-acdir' and `--system-acdir' instead.

  - The `ACLOCAL_PATH' environment variable is now interpreted as a
    colon-separated list of additional directories to search after the
    automake internal acdir (by default ${prefix}/share/aclocal-APIVERSION)
    and before the system acdir (by default ${prefix}/share/aclocal).

* Miscellaneous changes:

  - The Automake support for automatic de-ANSI-fication has been
    deprecated.  It will probably be removed in the next major Automake
    release (1.12).

  - The `lzma' compression scheme and associated automake option `dist-lzma'
    is obsoleted by `xz' and `dist-xz' due to upstream changes.

  - You may adjust the compression options used in dist-xz and dist-bzip2.
    The default is now merely -e for xz, but still -9 for bzip;  you may
    specify a different level via the XZ_OPT and BZIP2 envvars respectively.
    E.g., "make dist-xz XZ_OPT=-7" or "make dist-bzip2 BZIP2=-5"

  - The `compile' script now converts some options for MSVC for a better
    user experience.  Similarly, the new `ar-lib' script wraps Microsoft lib.

  - The py-compile script now accepts empty arguments passed to the options
    `--destdir' and `--basedir', and complains about unrecognized options.
    Moreover, a non-option argument or a special `--' argument terminates
    the list of options.

  - A developer that needs to pass specific flags to configure at "make
    distcheck" time can now, and indeed is advised to, do so by defining
    the developer-reserved makefile variable AM_DISTCHECK_CONFIGURE_FLAGS,
    instead of the old DISTCHECK_CONFIGURE_FLAGS.
    The DISTCHECK_CONFIGURE_FLAGS variable should now be reserved for the
    user; still, the old Makefile.am files that used to define it will
    still continue to work as before.

  - New macro AM_PROG_AR that looks for an archiver and wraps it in the new
    'ar-lib' auxiliary script if the selected archiver is Microsoft lib.
    This new macro is required for LIBRARIES and LTLIBRARIES when automake
    is run with -Wextra-portability and -Werror.

  - When using DejaGnu-based testsuites, the user can extend the `site.exp'
    file generated by automake-provided rules by defining the special make
    variable `$(EXTRA_DEJAGNU_SITE_CONFIG)'.

  - The `install-info' rule can now be instructed not to create/update
    the `${infodir}/dir' file, by exporting the new environment variable
    `AM_UPDATE_INFO_DIR' to the value "no".

Bugs fixed in 1.11.2:

* Bugs introduced by 1.11:

  - The parallel-tests driver no longer produces erroneous results with
    Tru64/OSF 5.1 sh upon unreadable log files.

  - The `parallel-tests' test driver does not report spurious successes
    when used with concurrent FreeBSD make (e.g., "make check -j3").

  - When the parallel-tests driver is in use, automake now explicitly
    rejects invalid entries and conditional contents in TEST_EXTENSIONS,
    instead of issuing confusing and apparently unrelated error messages
    (e.g., "non-POSIX variable name", "bad characters in variable name",
    or "redefinition of TEST_EXTENSIONS), or even, in some situations,
    silently producing broken `Makefile.in' files.

  - The `silent-rules' option now truly silences all compile rules, even
    when dependency tracking is disabled.  Also, when `silent-rules' is
    not used, `make' output no longer contains spurious backslash-only
    lines, thus once again matching what Automake did before 1.11.

  - The AM_COND_IF macro also works if the shell expression for the
    conditional is no longer valid for the condition.

* Long-standing bugs:

  - The order of Yacc and Lex flags is fixed to be consistent with other
    languages: $(AM_YFLAGS) comes before $(YFLAGS), and $(AM_LFLAGS) before
    $(LFLAGS), so that the user variables override the developer variables.

  - "make distcheck" now correctly complains also when "make uninstall"
    leaves one and only one file installed in $(prefix).

  - A "make uninstall" issued before a "make install", or after a mere
    "make install-data" or a mere "make install-exec" does not spuriously
    fail anymore.

  - Automake now warns about more primary/directory invalid combinations,
    such as "doc_LIBRARIES" or "pkglib_PROGRAMS".

  - Rules generated by Automake now try harder to not change any files when
    `make -n' is invoked.  Fixes include compilation of Emacs Lisp, Vala, or
    Yacc source files and the rule to update config.h.

  - Several scripts and the parallel-tests testsuite driver now exit with
    the right exit status upon receiving a signal.

  - A per-Makefile.am setting of -Werror does not erroneously carry over
    to the handling of other Makefile.am files.

  - The code for automatic dependency tracking works around a Solaris
    make bug triggered by sources containing repeated slashes when the
    `subdir-objects' option was used.

  - The makedepend and hp depmodes now work better with VPATH builds.

  - Java sources specified with check_JAVA are no longer compiled for
    "make all", but only for "make check".

  - An usage like "java_JAVA = foo.java" will now cause Automake to warn
    and error out if `javadir' is undefined, instead of silently producing
    a broken Makefile.in.

  - aclocal and automake now honour the configure-time definitions of
    AUTOCONF and AUTOM4TE when they spawn autoconf or autom4te processes.

  - The `install-info' recipe no longer tries to guess whether the
    `install-info' program is from Debian or from GNU, and adaptively
    change its behaviour; this has proven to be frail and easy to
    regress.

Updated textproc/intltool to 0.50.2

(wiz)

2012-03-03 00:34:40 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 0.50.2:

intltool 0.50.2
===============

intltool 0.50.2 is another minor release improving backwards compatibility.
Only one bug is fixed in this release:

* Use --no-translations only if intltool >= 0.50 is available (#903340).
  Patch contributed by Hib Eris (https://launchpad.net/~hiberis).

intltool 0.50.1
===============

intltool 0.50.1 is a minor release with the following improvements:

* Support AM_SILENT_RULES (#402516).
  Patch contributed by Hib Eris (https://launchpad.net/~hiberis).

* Improve support for extracting messages from GSettings files (#922685).
  Patch contributed by Ryan Lortie (https://launchpad.net/~desrt).

* Support attribute tag extraction for Glade/GtkBuilder files (#923841).
  Patch contributed by Ryan Lortie (https://launchpad.net/~desrt).

* Start including a ChangeLog in tarballs and provide a NEWS file (#924386).
  This introduces a soft dependency on "bzr": it's only required for
  maintainers who wish to regenerate a ChangeLog file from the bzr checkout.

* Fix quoting of XGETTEXT variable when setting MSGMERGE and GENPOT
  in Makefile (#900738).
  Patch contributed by Matthias Klose (https://launchpad.net/~doko).

intltool 0.50.0
===============

intltool 0.50.0 is a major bug fix release.

Among the fixes, the following stand out:

* Bug #580526
  Finally, support for gsettings gschema.xml files is merged in, which
  should enable maintainers to get a slightly simpler build setup
  (i.e. no need to use NOMERGE rule anymore, and you can have intltool
  directly extract translations from .gschema.xml files).

* Bug #790574:
  Let xgettext extract Scheme strings out, and add support for
  `intltool-update -m` to find files with marked strings.

* Bug #806006:
  Improve handling of quotes in `intltool-update -m` so you get less
  (no?) warnings about mismatched quotes, and Python processing doesn't
  get messed up with docstrings and similar.

* Bug #520986:
  One for the translators窶芭essages are extracted in the order they appear
  in original files now, thus allowing translators to infer more of the
  context from the ordering.

    Bug #666329 Empty database after a little while Separate the two uses of QofBook::dirty -- indicating that the book object itself has been edited and indicating that some object in the dataset has been changed -- into two separate variables with separate getters & setters. Use gnc_dbi_safe_sync_all (which doesn't lose data if the save partion errors out) for all be->sync. Reverse qof_book_mark_saved and qof_instance_mark_clean so that the book is dirty for qof_book_mark_saved when it's the instance. Original commit by jralls
    Bug #667105: Fix grammatical error in some accounts file.
    Bug #667276 : Fiix Korean accounts files. Patch submitted by Eulgyoon Lim.
    Bug #457401 - Print invoice should not be disabled for unposted invoices. Enable printing for unposted invoices.
    Add a "features" table to the KVP frame, and pop up an error message if we find a feature we don't know about. Currently there are no known features, so essentially we will error out if we see anything.
    Bug #665998 Replace no-op function force_account_dirty with qof_book_mark_dirty.
    Bug #658247 - First time setup should prompt to save file. Fix supplied by Bob referenced in bug #665996.
    Bug #642276 Bayesian association with Sqlite Wraps the kvp_frame_set_slot_path with xaccAccountBeginEdit()/xaccAccountCommitEdit(). Also clean up some other cases where KVP was set without committing an edit.
    Fix table number alignment.
    Fix number alignment in table.
    Bug #649362 - Transfer Funds Window Exchange Rate and Decimal Points Rounding in Bill/Invoices This patch fixes the rounding by showing the actual value to convert. As a result the exchange rate direction had to be swapped as well to avoid lots of confusion.
    Abort posting if not all required exchange rates are given. Note that any exchange rate successfully entered before the posting is aborted are still saved with the invoice.
    Bug #665202 - Improve python-finding code. Patch by Pacho Ramos
    Bug #661383 - GnuCash segfault on Linux (Fedora 16 beta) because of shared library load / unload weirdness
    Fix right align for number cells in table.
    Added user settable line width and data point markers to net worth line chart.
    Commented line width. This value really should be passed from .scm file
    Fix setting of line color for line charts.
    Bug #664862 - New report showing net assets over time Added new line chart report for assets, net-linechart.scm. Distantly related to Bug #570011
    Add missing Root Account part. Original commit by mikee.
    Bug #664764 - Account setup for Swedish small business Added Swedish chart of accounts for small businesses. Original commit by mikee.
    Bug #663368 When importing CSV files, the word 'Deposit' appears in Num/Action column
    Bug #630804 - make check failure in business module

Update to 8.30. New 16-bit character string library not enabled per default.

Release 8.30 04-February-2012
-----------------------------

Release 8.30 introduces a major new feature: support for 16-bit character
strings, compiled as a separate library. There are a few changes to the
8-bit library, in addition to some bug fixes.

. The pcre_info() function, which has been obsolete for over 10 years, has
  been removed.

. When a compiled pattern was saved to a file and later reloaded on a host
  with different endianness, PCRE used automatically to swap the bytes in some
  of the data fields. With the advent of the 16-bit library, where more of this
  swapping is needed, it is no longer done automatically. Instead, the bad
  endianness is detected and a specific error is given. The user can then call
  a new function called pcre_pattern_to_host_byte_order() (or an equivalent
  16-bit function) to do the swap.

. In UTF-8 mode, the values 0xd800 to 0xdfff are not legal Unicode
  code points and are now faulted. (They are the so-called "surrogates"
  that are reserved for coding high values in UTF-16.)

Import py26-tokyocabinet-0.5 as databases/py-tokyocabinet.

tokyocabinet aims to be a complete python wrapper for the ass-kicking
Tokyo Cabinet database library by Mikio Hirabayashi
(http://1978th.net/). While there are other wrappers out there none
were found to be comprehensive enough. At present, the btree, hash and
table APIs are available as hand-written C extensions.

A similar effort is underway for the Tokyo Tyrant client API here:
http://code.google.com/p/python-tokyotyrant-client/

Omissions, bugs, patches and feedback are greatly welcome. This
package is written and maintained by Elisha Cook.

2012-03-01 12:30:11 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 0.3.3:
    New sabredav/owncloud support, thanks Davide Gerhard.

    Fixes a bug where properties with no type parameters were not printed.

    This release also fixes a small database bug.

    The config file has a new entry (davserver) which you can set to either davical or sabredav (depending on your CardDAV server).

    Future: The source code has been cleaned up quite a bit (nearly every line of code has been touched) and some features have been added. Write support is nearly finished in the backend (but will probably not be included in the next release yet), but the frontend is still really buggy and a pain to use. If you want to have a look, check the repository out at github and check the branch write_support (but it might me broken).
