Remove GNU_CONFIGURE_LIBDIR setting on x86_64-linux systems, setting this
for all packages that use GNU_CONFIGURE causes to many packages to break.

Packages that need the libdir passed to them will need to be handled one

Move bird6 package from pkgsrc-wip (packaged by jkjuopperi with changes by
tnn) into the Packages Collection.

The BIRD project aims to develop a fully functional dynamic IP
routing daemon primarily targetted on (but not limited to)
UNIX-like systems and distributed under the GNU General Public
        License.

        - This package is for IPv6, a separate IPv4 package is available
        - Multiple routing tables
        - BGP
        - RIP
        - OSPF
        - Static routes
        - Inter-table protocol
        - Command-line interface
        - Soft reconfiguration
        - Powerful language for route filtering

Updated by myself from bird-1.3.4 to 1.3.6 (to correct a BGP protocol problem).

following Python's 'batteries included' philosophy, provides more than
just Python methods objects for calling into the ZeroMQ C++ library.

(gson)

2012-01-21 16:53:14 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update misc/py-anita to 1.24.  Changes from 1.23:

Support the new distribution ISO naming scheme, e.g.,
NetBSD-5.99.60-sparc.iso instead of sparccd.iso.

Support installation of the X11 and source sets.

On unknown platforms, use mkisofs instead of genisoimage.

On sparc, the scratch disk is sd1c, not wd1d.

Allow a full hour for extracting sets.

Deal with the backwards incompatible renaming of "qemu" to
"qemu-system-i386" in qemu 1.0.

After running the ATF tests, run "ps" to show any processes possibly
left running by the tests.

Updated devel/scmgit to 1.7.8.4

(adam)

2012-01-20 15:43:38 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 1.7.8.4:
* The code to look up attributes for paths reused entries from a wrong
directory when two paths in question are in adjacent directories and
the name of the one directory is a prefix of the other.
* A wildcard that matches deeper hierarchy given to the "diff-index" command,
e.g. "git diff-index HEAD -- '*.txt'", incorrectly reported additions of
matching files even when there is no change.
* When producing a "thin pack" (primarily used in bundles and smart
HTTP transfers) out of a fully packed repository, we unnecessarily
avoided sending recent objects as a delta against objects we know
  the other side has.
* "git send-email" did not properly treat sendemail.multiedit as a
boolean (e.g. setting it to "false" did not turn it off).
* Also contains minor fixes and documentation updates.

Update to jpeg-8d:

Version 8d  15-Jan-2012
-----------------------

Add cjpeg -rgb option to create RGB JPEG files.
Using this switch suppresses the conversion from RGB
colorspace input to the default YCbCr JPEG colorspace.
This feature allows true lossless JPEG coding of RGB color images.
The recommended command for this purpose is currently
cjpeg -rgb -block 1 -arithmetic.
SmartScale capable decoder (introduced with IJG JPEG 8) required.
Thank to Michael Koch for the initial suggestion.

Add option to disable the region adjustment in the transupp crop code.
Thank to Jeffrey Friedl for the suggestion.

Thank to Richard Jones and Edd Dawson for various minor corrections.

Thank to Akim Demaille for configure.ac cleanup.

o Fix segfault on OSX playback for some HW that gives smaller then
    requested buffers. (cbagwell)
o Clean up system resource in coreaudio on close.  Allows running
back-to-back open()/close()'s without exiting app first. (cbagwell)
o Add support for 32-bit samples to OSS driver. (Eric Lammerts)
o Add support for 24 and 32-bit samples to waveaudio (Win32) driver.
    (Doug Cook)
o Support specifying audio device other than default on OSX (cbagwell)

Effects:

  o F.R. [3051700] spectrogram -r for `raw' spectrogram, no legend.  (robs)
o Fix -w option on stats effect. (Ronald Sprouse)
o Fix segfault with some ladspa plugins (Thor Andreassen)
o Optionally look for png.h in libpng directory to support OpenBSD
packaging.  Helps enable spectrograph effect. (cbagwell)
o libpng15 requires application to include zlib.h header file. (cbagwell)
Add this to spectrograph effect. [3184238]
o Enable LADSPA effects on all platforms without any external
dependencies.  Mainly useful for Linux, Windows and OS X which have
    binaries readily available. (cbagwell)
o Support specifying an absolute end location for trim effect instead
only an offset from trim begin location. (Ulrich Klauer)
o Fix regression where MP3 handler required libmad headers to be installed.
    (Samuli Suominen)
o Allow dynamic loading of lame to be enabled even if lame header files
    are not installed.  (Doug Cook)

Other new features:

o Soxi now reports duration of AMR files.  (robs)
o Document the "multiple" combine option in man pages and in
    usage output (Ulrich Klauer).

Internal improvements:

o Distribute msvc9 project files that had been in CVS only. (cbagwell)
o Add msvc10 project files (also compatible with the Windows SDK 7.1).
    (Doug Cook)
o cmake now compiles waveaudio driver under windows environment. (cbagwell)

                    -= Security  Advisory =-

Advisory: Suhosin PHP Extension Transparent Cookie Encryption Stack
Buffer Overflow
Release Date: 2012/01/19
Last Modified: 2012/01/19
      Author: Stefan Esser [stefan.esser[at]sektioneins.de]

  Application: Suhosin Extension <= 0.9.32.1
Severity: A possible stack buffer overflow in Suhosin extension's
transparent cookie encryption that can only be triggered
in an uncommon and weakened Suhosin configuration can lead
to arbitrary remote code execution, if the FORTIFY_SOURCE

        Risk: Medium
Vendor Status: Suhosin Extension 0.9.33 was released which fixes this
vulnerability

Updated devel/scmgit to 1.7.7.6

(gdt)

2012-01-19 20:34:01 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.7.7.6 from 1.7.7.2.

Fixes since v1.7.7.2
--------------------

* Adjust the "quick-install-doc" procedures as preformatted
html/manpage are no longer in the source repository.

* The logic to optimize the locality of the data in a pack introduced in
  1.7.7 was grossly inefficient.

* The logic to filter out forked projects in the project list in
"gitweb" was broken for some time.

* "git branch -m/-M" advertised to update RENAME_REF ref in the
commit log message that introduced the feature but not anywhere in
the documentation, and never did update such a ref anyway. This
undocumented misfeature that did not exist has been excised.

Fixes since v1.7.7.3
--------------------

* A few header dependencies were missing from the Makefile.

* Some newer parts of the code used C99 __VA_ARGS__ while we still
try to cater to older compilers.

* "git name-rev --all" tried to name all _objects_, naturally failing to
describe many blobs and trees, instead of showing only commits as
  advertised in its documentation.

Fixes since v1.7.7.4
--------------------

* After fetching from a remote that has very long refname, the reporting
output could have corrupted by overrunning a static buffer.

* "git checkout" and "git merge" treated in-tree .gitignore and exclude
file in $GIT_DIR/info/ directory inconsistently when deciding which
untracked files are ignored and expendable.

Fixes since v1.7.7.5
--------------------

Updated net/ldns to 1.6.12

(pettai)

2012-01-18 22:31:27 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

1.6.12
        * bugfix #413: Fix manpage source for srcdir != builddir
        * Canonicalize the signers name rdata field in RRSIGs when signing
        * Ignore minor version of Private-key-format (so v1.3 may be used)
        * Allow a check_time to be given in stead of always checking against
the current time. With ldns-verify-zone the check_time can be set
          with the -t option.
        * Added functions for updating and manipulating SOA serial numbers.
ldns-read-zone has an option -S for updating and manipulating the
          serial numbers.
        * The library Makefile is now GNU and BSD make compatible.
        * bugfix #419: NSEC3 validation of a name covered by a wildcard with
          no data.
        * Two new options (--with-drill and --with-examples) to the main
configure script (in the root of the source tree) to build drill
          and examples too.
        * Fix days_since_epoch to year_yday calculation on 32bits systems.

Changes 5.3.0:
* Support Berkeley DB 5.3.x.
* Drop support for Berkeley DB 4.2 and Python 2.3. Our reference
is Red Had Enterprise Linux 5, until march 2014.
* Support for "DBEnv->set_intermediate_dir()", available in
Berkeley DB 4.3-4.6.  Patch by Garret Cooper.
* Support for "DB->set_dup_compare()".  Original patches by
Nikita M. Kozlovsky and Ben Schmeckpeper.
* Fixed a testsuite compatibility problem with BDB 5.2.
* If we are running Solaris or derivatives, and 64bit python,
try to find the library under "/usr/local/Berkeley.*.*/64/".
* Solaris 10 Update 10 exposes a very old race condition in the replication
master election tests. Some details in
  https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=9902860 .
Workaround proposed in a private email from Paula Bingham (Oracle),
  in 20110929.
* When doing the full matrix test for a release, stop the verification
  if any test failed.

Changes 5.3.15:
* Added support for verifying named in-memory dbs.
* Added an integer key comparison function to improve performance through the
  SQL API.
* Support build on the platforms where pthread_t is a struct.
* Added an API call so the user can specify the size of the region in a heap db.
* Improved Replication Manager's ability to recover from the (perhaps rare)
phenomenon of two sites trying to connect to each other simultaneously, which
used to result in loss of both connections, requiring a retry after the
  CONNECTION_RETRY timeout period.
* Enhanced the interface for copying databases for a hot backup. Added configure
  support for --enable-atomicfileread.
* Enhaced the log reading routine to detect that a log file is missing rather
than returning that a zero length record was found.
* Added pragma bdbsql_shared_resources to set or report the maximum amount of
memory to be used by shared structures in the main environment region and
bdbsql_lock_tablesize to set or report the number of buckets in the lock
object hash table. These are advanced tuning features for applications with
large number of tables or needs to reduce locking on concurrent long running
  transactions.
* Added set_metadata_dir() and get_metadata_dir() to enable storage of
persistent metadata files in a location other than the environment home
  directory.
* Improved the error handling through the SQL API. Errors can be sent to a file
with the use of the BDBSQL_ERROR_FILE pragma.
* Database handles can now be configured to give exclusive access to the
  database.
* XA transactions will now use transaction snapshots if the XA databases they
operate on were configured with DB_MULTIVERSION.
* Added additional stats fields into the C# API
* Added pragma bdbsql_single_process to keep the Berkeley DB environment
information on the heap instead of in shared memory. This option cannot be
used if the database is accessed from multiple processes.
* Improved the ability of DB->compact to move DB_HASH database pages to the
  begining of the file.
