2011-12-14 11:01:39 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update p5-Test-File-Contents to 0.20.

Changes from previous:
----------------------
0.20    2011-02-18
      - Now require Perl 5.8.3 or higher. 5.8 has effectively been the
required Perl all along thanks to the dependency on Digest::MD5.
      - Added encoding option, to make sure that files are read in their
        proper encoding.
      - Significant refactoring; only visible change should be that the
actualy MD5 checksum will no longer be included in the `file_md5sum`
        failure diagnostics.
      - Renamed `file_md5sum` to `file_md5sum_is`. The old name remains as an
        alias for backwards compatibility.
      - Renamed `file_contents_identical` to `files_eq`. The old name remains
as an alias for backwards compatibility.
      - Added `file_contents_eq_or_diff()` and `files_eq_or_diff()`.

0.10    2011-02-18
      - Maintainership taken by David E. Wheeler.
      - Removed `examples/simple.pl`, since it wouldn't run anyway.
      - Added prototypes to the test functions.
      - Failure diagnostics now appear after the failure message, rather than
        before.
      - Renamed `file_contents_is` and `file_contents_isnt` to
`file_contents_eq` and `file_contents_ne`, respectively. The old names
remain as aliases for backwards compatibility.
      - Reworked default test descriptions to include the names of the files
        being tested.
      - Wordsmithed some of the diagnostic messages.

Import MooseX::CompileTime::Traits into devel/p5-MooseX-CompileTime-Traits,
which is required to update www/p5-POE-Component-Server-PSGI.

MooseX::CompileTime::Traits allows role application at compile time via use
statements. What this class does is provide an import method that will apply
each of the roles (along with any arguments for parameterized roles).

Updated converters/qrencode to 3.2.0

(ryoon)

2011-12-13 21:44:37 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 3.2.0

* Remove obsolete patches.

Changelog:
Version 3.2.0 (2011.11.26)
------------------------
* "--dpi" (or "-d") option has been added to qrencode. This option set DPI
information in an output PNG image. (Thanks to David Dahl)
* New option "--enable-thread-safety" has been added to the configure script
that makes the library thread-safe. It is enabled by default.
* QRcode_encodeData(), QRcode_encodeDataMQR, QRcode_encodeDataStructured() have
been added for binary data encoding including '\0'.
* Typo and bug fixes.
* Experimental Micro QR Code support has been added.
* "--micro" (or "-M") option for Micro QR Code has been added to qrencode.
  (experimental)

Release Note:
Binary data including '\0' is now supported. To encode a binary data, give "-8"
option to qrencode, and let qrencode obtain data via standard input like
"qrencode -8 -o output.png < binary". "--dpi" and "-d" are also added to embed
DPI information to PNG file.

A bug in the mask pattern evaluation routine has been fixed. In some cases,
libqrencode may generate a different symbol from the one that was generated by
the prior libqrencode because of this bug fix, but the embedded data are not
affected. The symbols generated by the old libqrencode are valid.

Experimental support of Micro QR Code encoder has been added. Some functions
(QRcode_*MQR()) have been added to the library. The command line tool generates
Micro QR Code when "--micro" or "-M" is given.

S_IRUSR and S_IWUSR are defined in <sys/stat.h> on DragonFly, but the

Update p5-Proc-Simple to 1.30.

Changes from previous:
----------------------
  From 1.29:
[RT 69782] Zefram reported race condition in t/sh-c.t,
    fixed by adding polling loop.

Found that kill(-sig, pid) sometimes fails with
'process id not found' although a previous kill(0, pid)
succeeded. This is a race condition condition caused
by a newly forked child that hasn't called setsid() yet
and therefore its new process group id doesn't exist yet,
although the child responds to poll(). kill() now
    deals with this case.
  From 1.28:
[RT 69103] Typo fix by Salvatore Bonaccorso
Added support for processes called via 'sh -c' by
system() (see "Shell Processes" note in the manpage).
  From 1.27:
[RT 62802] Pod fix by Salvatore Bonaccorso
[RT 63833] Applied patch to stop reaping PIDs of
no longer existing processes (submitted by perlbotics).
    Added licensizer
[RT 63833] (second part) Added cleanup() class method
to delete timing data of reaped processes, avoiding
infinite memory growth on long-running processes

From 1.26: [RT 62285] Pod fix for redirect_output()
    Fixed github link

Updated databases/mysql55-{client,server} to 5.5.19

(adam)

2011-12-13 12:14:49 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 5.5.19:
* Performance of metadata locking operations on Windows XP systems was improved
by instituting a cache for metadata lock objects. This permits the server to
avoid expensive operations for creation and destruction of synchronization
objects on XP. A new system variable, metadata_locks_cache_size, permits
control over the size of the cache. The default size is 1024.
* Replication: Previously, replication slaves could connect to the master
server through master accounts that use nonnative authentication, except
Windows native authentication. This is now also true for Windows native
  authentication.

Bugs Fixed:
* InnoDB Storage Engine: An internal deadlock could occur within InnoDB, on
a server doing a substantial amount of change buffering for DML operations,
  particularly DELETE statements.
* Rounding DBL_MAX returned DBL_MAX, not 'inf'.
* mysql_upgrade did not upgrade the system tables or create the
mysql_upgrade_info file when run with the --write-binlog or
  --skip-write-binlog option.
* If a plugin was uninstalled, thread local variables for plugin variables of
string type with wth PLUGIN_VAR_MEMALLOC flag were not freed.
* Deadlock could occur when these four things happened at the same time: 1) An
old dump thread was waiting for the binary log to grow. 2) The slave server
that replicates from the old dump thread tried to reconnect. During
reconnection, the new dump thread tried to kill the old dump thread.
  3) A KILL statement tried to kill the old dump thread. 4) An INSERT statement
  caused a binary log rotation.

2. Because there's a self-extracting archive, NetBSD's builtin unzip

archivers/unzip instead of adding unzip to USE_TOOLS. (I'm not sure
this is the right way to go about this. It at least works though.)

This update is to fix AST-2011-013 and AST-2011-014.

Asterisk Project Security Advisory - AST-2011-013

        Product        Asterisk
Summary        Possible remote enumeration of SIP endpoints with
                        differing NAT settings
Nature of Advisory  Unauthorized data disclosure
      Susceptibility    Remote unauthenticated sessions
        Severity      Minor

        CVE Name

Description  It is possible to enumerate SIP usernames when the general
and user/peer NAT settings differ in whether to respond to
the port a request is sent from or the port listed for
responses in the Via header. In 1.4 and 1.6.2, this would
mean if one setting was nat=yes or nat=route and the other
was either nat=no or nat=never. In 1.8 and 10, this would
mean when one was nat=force_rport or nat=yes and the other
                was nat=no or nat=comedia.

Resolution  Handling NAT for SIP over UDP requires the differing
                behavior introduced by these options.

To lessen the frequency of unintended username disclosure,
the default NAT setting was changed to always respond to the
port from which we received the request-the most commonly
                used option.

Warnings were added on startup to inform administrators of
the risks of having a SIP peer configured with a different
setting than that of the general setting. The documentation
now strongly suggests that peers are no longer configured
for NAT individually, but through the global setting in the
                "general" context.

                                  Corrected In
As this is more of an issue with SIP over UDP in general, there is no
fix supplied other than documentation on how to avoid the problem. The
default NAT setting has been changed to what we believe the most
commonly used setting for the respective version in Asterisk 1.4.43,
                            1.6.2.21, and 1.8.7.2.

Description  When the "automon" feature is enabled in features.conf, it

This needs a pile more tex packages to build successfully in a clean
environment. Note: some of the ones I'm adding may not be absolutely
required; I made this list by checking atimes after building R with
all tex stuff available, and confirmed that with (only) these packages
available it does build.

It doesn't help that the R makefile, apparently intentionally, doesn't
stop if running tex fails.

graphics/osg: Fix all platforms

1) Modified current patch to support DragonFly
2) Fixed includes for ffmeg headers
3) The API for ffmpeg's sample format changed, so tell it to use old API.
This can be removed when OpenSceneGraph version is upgraded
4) The PLIST was missing ffmpeg plugin.  I guess it never built before.

devel/tet3: Multiple platform fix

Tet3 has a korn shell script in it, but this was never accounted for
previously.  NetBSD has /bin/ksh so they never noticed the error.  However,
the script in question didn't have the shebang at the first line because
it was a template and REPLACE_KSH failed.  As a result, the template is
patched to allow REPLACE_KSH to work.  This fix should apply to all
platforms that don't have /usr/ksh.

BUILDLINK_TRANSFORM+= rm:-lXp

This works around the Motif imake templates, which unconditionally
provide -lXp for Motif clients. It is not clear to me why imake
material for Motif is shipped as part of the default X imake templates
rather than with Motif; but imake has always had a special (il)logic
of its own.

Dealing with this problem by setting IMAKEOPTS here instead causes
"can't buildlink files" and I don't understand why; but this approach
is maybe better anyway.

Fixes build of audio/xmradio and perhaps other Motif-using packages.

math/pari: Fix for binutils 2.22

The ld linker from binutils 2.22 has --no-copy-dt-needed-entries enabled by
default, which is exactly opposite of earlier versions of the linker.
Previously ld would recursively search libraries linked in by the object's
primary libraries during symbol resolution.  Now linker wants all libraries
explicit requested, otherwise one gets a message such as this:

ld: <object file>: undefined reference to symbol '<symbol>'
ld: note: '<symbol>' is defined in DSO <shared library> so try adding it
    to the linker command line.

If this message is encountered, the two options are either to explicitly
add it to the linker command as suggested, or use the
--no-copy-dt-needed-entries switch to return the linker to its previous
behavior.  In the case of math/pari, libstdc++ was added to the library
list for the plotfltk.o object.  This explicit link is required by DragonFly
which is migrated to binutils 2.22 as its default version.

finances/kmymoney2: Fix all platforms

The main problem with this package is that sqlite2 was building
automatically, but the makefile for it was broken.  The QTDIR variable
wasn't getting expanded in the makefile, so the rpath for sqlite3 library
was corrupt.  Once the Makefile was fixed, libsqlite3.so built normally,
but it didn't get installed due to another Makefile issue.  Finally, it
built and installed, but then the PLIST was missing its entry.

After everything was verified building ok, I discovered somebody had
added and then commented out "sqlite3" option.  Since it's building by
default, I took this option out.  If somebody else decides that it
should be optional, I'll let them tweak the configure args, PLIST, and
options file to make that happen.
