Update to 3.0.0

* Switch gtk2 to gtk3.

Changelog:
2010-01-10: gWaei 3.0.0
New version of gwaei made to compile against gtk+-3.0 and match other Gnome 3
apps.  Most of the code has been rewritten and the advantages won't all appear u
ntil futuer versions of the program.

-Spellcheck is now don't directly with enchant instead of relying on libsexy
-The backend is now separated into a libtool library for cleaner code.
-The dictionary folder is now in ~/.config/gwaei instead of ~/.waei.
-Manual installation of dictionaries is now easier and more straight forward.
-Translations are now handled by intltool instead of gettext
-Much of the code now uses GError for proper error handling and message passin
g
-The code now uses GRegex instead of the C regex library included with the OS,
making the program more cross platform friendly

Added x11/libunique3 version 3.0.2

(ryoon)

2011-07-14 21:03:57 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Import libunique3-3.0.2 as x11/libunique3

* This package is probably for gnome3.

Unique is a library for writing single instance application. If
you launch a single instance application twice, the second instance
will either just quit or will send a message to the running instance.

Unique makes it easy to write this kind of applications, by providing
a base class, taking care of all the IPC machinery needed to send
messages to a running instance, and also handling the startup
notification side.

Unique aims to replace the BaconMessageConnection code that has
been copied by many projects and the code using Bonobo and D-Bus.

Updated graphics/fotoxx to 11.07

(ryoon)

2011-07-14 08:15:35 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 11.7

Changelog:
2011.07.01  v.11.07
+ The main retouch functions can now be used in parallel
(i.e. multiple edit dialogs can be active at the same time).
+ The last position of the main window and most dialog windows is saved
and restored within a session and across sessions.
+ New function Match Colors: take a spot color sample from two images.
The colors of the 2nd image are changed to match the first.
+ New function Revise RGB: select up to 9 control pixels on an image and
adjust their RGB values. All image pixels are adjusted to match, using
weights based on distances from the control pixels. Use this function
to make complex color adjustments that vary across the image.
+ Brightness Ramp was revised to handle RGB colors. This is an alternative
method to remove a color caste that varies across an image or image area.
+ Tools > Show RGB: EV and OD units are output in addition to RGB values.
Up to five points are shown, updated live as the image is edited.
+ The Brightness/Color curves now have a range of +/-2 EV (F-stops) and
the step-adjust buttons ([+++] etc.) are calibrated in 0.1 EV steps.
Steps 1/3 this size can also be used. Use this function in conjunction
with Show RGB to make calibrated color adjustments.
+ Numeric feedback was added to the sliders in retouch edit functions.
+ Missing gallery thumbnails are generated 2-3x faster (on multi-core
processors) using multiple threads working ahead of need (usually).
+ Clone (new window) now has two variants: share desktop 50/50 or open
a new window of the same size, slightly offset for visibility.
+ Open File now has two variants: use the same window or open a new
window in a parallel instance of Fotoxx.
+ New toolbar button: save file as a new version (immediate, no dialog).
The current image and its edit history remain unchanged.
+ Save-As menu and toolbar: new checkbox option to switch the current
file to the saved file. The edit trail (undo/redo) is also retained.
+ New command line parameters:
-prev    open the last file viewed in the previous session.
-recent  start with a gallery of recent files (most recent at top).
(-prev used to be default but this is no longer the case).
+ If the [undo] or [redo] button is pressed with the shift-key, they
become "undo all" and "redo all". This makes it easier to compare
an image having multiple edits with the original image.
+ Select Area [Unfinish] button: put a finished area back in edit mode.
+ Pixel Edit was moved from the Art menu to the Retouch menu.
+ Hourglass cursor was replaced with a BUSY sign at bottom of the window.
+ Toolbar help is a topic help like F1. Menu help opens the user guide.
+ Bugfix: warp functions were infrequently putting artifacts in the image.
+ Bugfix: Edit Collections could crash if adds and deletes were mixed.
+ Bugfix: Select Area Edge Calculation: if killed by user, the area was
left in a half finished condition.

2011.06.13  v.11.06.2
Bugfix: Ubuntu 11.04 32-bit: libtiff.so was moved to a really different
location: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libtiff.so. This caused a misleading
diagnostic when building from source, so the check and diagnostic was
simply eliminated. The packages are not affected.

Updated net/aria2 to 1.12.0

(ryoon)

2011-07-14 06:00:08 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.12.0

Changelog:
1.12.0
Changes
-------

* Use ServerStat to find faster server. This is useful when several
downloads were started in parallel, but one download is slow and
the other downloads have completed. Then aria2 knows which servers
are fast by the results of completed downloads, and check the
available URIs of slow downloads to see faster server is available
there. If so, use it instead of current slow one to make download
  faster.

* Added Russian translation of man page and HTML manual contributed
  by ITriskTI.

* Added aria2.getGlobalStat RPC method.  It returns overall
download/upload speed and the number of active/stopped/waiting
  downloads.

* Added --pause option.  This option pauses download after
added. This option is effective only when --enable-rpc=true is
given.  When --save-session option is used and there are paused
downloads, they are saved with --pause=true so that it will become
paused state when the session is recovered.

* Abort aria2 if it could not setup any RPC server.

* Added --truncate-console-readout option.  This option truncates
console readout to fit in a single line.  This is default. Give
false value to this option to tell aria2 not to truncate console
  readout.

* Cache and reuse RpcMethod objects.

* Allowed missing params in system.multicall RPC method.

* Added --stream-piece-selector option.  This option specifies piece
selection algorithm used in HTTP/FTP download. Piece means fixed
length segment which is downloaded in parallel in segmented
download. If 'default' is given, aria2 selects piece so that it
reduces the number of establishing connection. This is reasonable
default behaviour because establishing connection is an expensive
operation.  If 'inorder' is given, aria2 selects piece which has
minimum index. Index=0 means first of the file. This will be useful
to view movie while downloading it. --enable-http-pipelining option
may be useful to reduce reconnection overhead.  Please note that
aria2 honors --min-split-size option, so it will be necessary to
specify a reasonable value to --min-split-size option.

* Removed unnecessary template parameter from std::make_pair call.
The patch was contributed from Dan Fandrich.

* Implemented fast file allocation in MinGW32 build.  We use
SetFilePointerEx and SetEndOfFile to allocate extents.  This only
works with NTFS. To enable this feature, --file-allocation=falloc
  must be given.

* Only percent-encode non-printable ASCII chars(0x00-0x1f), non-ASCII
  chars(>0x7f), ' ', '"', '<' and '>' for URIs supplied by user and
  remote server(usually Location header field).

* Don't throw exception if Z_BUF_ERROR is encountered in GZipEncoder.
This fixed the bug that compressed RPC request failed.

* Don't save removed download in --save-session text file.  Now stat
column of removed downloads in Download Results is 'RM' instead of
  INPR.

1.11.2
Changes
-------

* Updated Japanese, Spanish and Simplified Chinese translation.
  Thanks to all translators.

* Eliminated few seconds delay when downloads stop or pause.

* Added --metalink-base-uri option.  --metalink-uri option specifies
base URI to resolve relative URI in metalink file stored in local
disk. If URI points to a directory, URI must end with '/'.

* Run batch file with cmd.exe. Quoted user command.  It seems that we
have to specify the full path to cmd.exe in the first argument of
CreateProcess() to run batch file in proper manner.  We first
determine the full path to cmd.exe. To do this, we get windir
environment variable and concatenate it with "\system32\cmd.exe".

* Fixed the bug that the message "Loaded cookies from ..." appears
when loading cookies from that file failed.

* Applied patch from Dan Fandrich. This patch fixes compatibility
issue when compiling aria2 on older systems.

* Support relative URI in Metalink file.  If relative URI is found in
Metalink file, aria2 resolves its full URI contatenating the URI
from which Metalink file is retrieved and relative URI in Metalink
file. This feature is not available if Metalink file in local disk
  is specified in command line.

* Erase user and password specified in command-line from argv.  The
user and password is masked with '*'.

* If no data type tag is used in XML-RPC, treat the data as string.

Changes 1.5.0:

* Support for WindowsCE.
* Support for ECDH.
* Support for OAEP and PSS methods as described by RFC-3447.
* Fixed PKCS v1.5 code to always return the leading zero.
* New format specifiers "%M" and "%u" for gcry_sexp_build.
* Support opaque MPIs with "%m" and "%M" in gcry_sexp_build.
* New functions gcry_pk_get_curve and gcry_pk_get_param to map ECC
parameters to a curve name and to retrieve parameter values.
* gcry_mpi_cmp applied to opaque values has a defined semantic now.
* Uses the Intel AES-NI instructions if available.
* The use of the deprecated Alternative Public Key Interface
(gcry_ac_*) will now print compile time warnings.
* The module register subsystem has been deprecated.  This subsystem
is not flexible enough and would always require ABI changes to
extend the internal interfaces.  It will eventually be removed.
Please contact us on the gcrypt-devel mailing list to discuss
whether you really need this feature or how it can be replaced by
  an internal plugin mechanism.
* CTR mode may now be used with data chunks of arbitrary length.

Note update of mail/squirrelmail package to 1.4.22.

(taca)

2011-07-13 12:22:44 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update squirrelmail package to 1.4.22.

Version 1.4.22 - 12 July 2011
-----------------------------
  - Backported default timezone fix from version 1.5.2; helps mitigate
timezone errors in environments where a default has not been set
    by the administrator.
  - Fixed system lock-ups caused by a combination of certain rare,
malformed message headers and buggy versions of PHP mbstring
    (#3053349).
  - Now allow multiple plugins to handle (add links for) a single
    attachment MIME type.
  - Now allow administrators to disable all plugins or enable just
a select few plugins (overriding the active plugins in the normal
configuration) by setting $temporary_plugins as an empty array
(all disabled) or an array with one or more plugin directory names
    in config_local.php.
  - Backport fix for call_user_func_array not supporting NULL as empty
    array in PHP 5.3.3
  - Fixed sqauth_read_password() for plugins on the login_verified hook.
  - Added SMTP SASL PLAIN authentication option to configuration tool
(core support for such is not new).
  - Gmail doens't support standard search commands; removed sort buttons.
  - Forced addition of a file suffix to attachments that lack a filename
(helps forwarded messages avoid spam filters) (thanks to Petr
    Kletecka) (#3139004).
  - Fixed missing security token in listcommands plugin.
  - Added smtp_auth hook (thanks to Emmanuel Dreyfus).
  - Made speed enhancements to threaded message display (thanks to Siim
    Poder) (#3288123).
  - Allow administrators to configure subfolders of user INBOXes to be
treated as special folders by adding $subfolders_of_inbox_are_special
    to config_local.php.
  - Fixed incorrect display of INBOX subfolders under some configurations.
IMPORTANT: You may need to update your configuration so that
$default_sub_of_inbox is TRUE if it was FALSE (e.g., Courier IMAP users)
and after updating to this version, your special folders are no longer
listed at the top of your folder list.  Also, if this change prevents
users from logging in with an error such as "ERROR: Could not complete
request.  Query: CREATE "Trash" Reason Given: Invalid mailbox name.",
you will need to correct the user preference values for the problem
folders.  You can do so with commands such as the following for file-
based preferences (adjust the data directory location as needed):
        find /var/lib/squirrelmail/data/ -name *.pref -exec sed --in-place 's/trash_folder=Trash/trash_folder=INBOX.Trash/g' {} \;
        find /var/lib/squirrelmail/data/ -name *.pref -exec sed --in-place 's/trash_folder=Drafts/trash_folder=INBOX.Drafts/g' {} \;
        find /var/lib/squirrelmail/data/ -name *.pref -exec sed --in-place 's/trash_folder=Sent/trash_folder=INBOX.Sent/g' {} \;
    Or, for database-based preferences:
        UPDATE userprefs SET prefval = 'INBOX.Trash' WHERE prefkey = 'trash_folder' AND prefval = 'Trash';
        UPDATE userprefs SET prefval = 'INBOX.Drafts' WHERE prefkey = 'draft_folder' AND prefval = 'Drafts';
        UPDATE userprefs SET prefval = 'INBOX.Sent' WHERE prefkey = 'sent_folder' AND prefval = 'Sent';
MAKE SURE to back up your user preferences first!
  - Optimized message highlighting rules; faster message list display
and faster highlight rules management (thanks to C. Bensend for
    extensive effort helping diagnose)
  - New Mail plugin no longer removes normal organization title when
putting the number of new messages in the browser title
  - Added clickjacking protection (thanks to Asbjorn Thorsen and Geir
Hansen for bringing this to our attention). [CVE-2010-4554]
  - Fixed XSS holes in generic options inputs, XSS hole in the SquirrelSpell
plugin, XSS hole in the Index Order page, and added anti-CSRF protection
to the empty trash feature and the Index Order page (thanks to Nicholas
Carlini for finding all these issues). [CVE-2010-4555]
  - Fixed XSS problem with unsanitized style tags in messages. [CVE-2011-2023]

Regenerate the exported symbol list via the process in ../Makefile,v1.20.

Omit a PKGREVISION bump, this package doesn't actually build (on Linux) due to
failing build-time test cases.  Presumably on platforms where the build
succeeds this export list doesn't actually matter.

Update sysutils/fabric to 1.1.1

Upstream changes highlights:

Many, many bugfixes.

In release 1.1, highlights are

    * #76: New-style tasks have been added. With the addition of the task
decorator and the Task class, you can now "opt-in" and explicitly mark task
functions as tasks, and Fabric will ignore the rest. The original behavior (now
referred to as "classic" tasks) will still take effect if no new-style tasks are
found. Major thanks to Travis Swicegood for the original implementation.
    * #56: Namespacing is now possible: Fabric will crawl imported module
objects looking for new-style task objects and build a dotted hierarchy (tasks
named e.g. web.deploy or db.migrations.run), allowing for greater organization.
See Namespaces for details. Thanks again to Travis Swicegood.

Update to 2.5:

* Changes in version 2.5 (2011-05-14):

** Grammar symbol names can now contain non-initial dashes:

Consistently with directives (such as %error-verbose) and with
%define variables (e.g. push-pull), grammar symbol names may contain
dashes in any position except the beginning.  This is a GNU
extension over POSIX Yacc.  Thus, use of this extension is reported
by -Wyacc and rejected in Yacc mode (--yacc).

** Named references:

Historically, Yacc and Bison have supported positional references
($n, $$) to allow access to symbol values from inside of semantic
  actions code.

Starting from this version, Bison can also accept named references.
When no ambiguity is possible, original symbol names may be used
  as named references:

    if_stmt : "if" cond_expr "then" then_stmt ';'
    { $if_stmt = mk_if_stmt($cond_expr, $then_stmt); }

In the more common case, explicit names may be declared:

    stmt[res] : "if" expr[cond] "then" stmt[then] "else" stmt[else] ';'
    { $res = mk_if_stmt($cond, $then, $else); }

Location information is also accessible using @name syntax.  When
accessing symbol names containing dots or dashes, explicit bracketing
  ($[sym.1]) must be used.

These features are experimental in this version.  More user feedback
  will help to stabilize them.

** IELR(1) and canonical LR(1):

IELR(1) is a minimal LR(1) parser table generation algorithm.  That
is, given any context-free grammar, IELR(1) generates parser tables
with the full language-recognition power of canonical LR(1) but with
nearly the same number of parser states as LALR(1).  This reduction
in parser states is often an order of magnitude.  More importantly,
because canonical LR(1)'s extra parser states may contain duplicate
conflicts in the case of non-LR(1) grammars, the number of conflicts
for IELR(1) is often an order of magnitude less as well.  This can
significantly reduce the complexity of developing of a grammar.

Bison can now generate IELR(1) and canonical LR(1) parser tables in
place of its traditional LALR(1) parser tables, which remain the
default.  You can specify the type of parser tables in the grammar
  file with these directives:

    %define lr.type lalr
    %define lr.type ielr
    %define lr.type canonical-lr

The default-reduction optimization in the parser tables can also be
adjusted using `%define lr.default-reductions'.  For details on both
of these features, see the new section `Tuning LR' in the Bison
  manual.

These features are experimental.  More user feedback will help to
  stabilize them.

** LAC (Lookahead Correction) for syntax error handling:

Canonical LR, IELR, and LALR can suffer from a couple of problems
upon encountering a syntax error.  First, the parser might perform
additional parser stack reductions before discovering the syntax
error.  Such reductions can perform user semantic actions that are
unexpected because they are based on an invalid token, and they
cause error recovery to begin in a different syntactic context than
the one in which the invalid token was encountered.  Second, when
verbose error messages are enabled (with %error-verbose or the
obsolete `#define YYERROR_VERBOSE'), the expected token list in the
syntax error message can both contain invalid tokens and omit valid
  tokens.

The culprits for the above problems are %nonassoc, default
reductions in inconsistent states, and parser state merging.  Thus,
IELR and LALR suffer the most.  Canonical LR can suffer only if
%nonassoc is used or if default reductions are enabled for
  inconsistent states.

LAC is a new mechanism within the parsing algorithm that solves
these problems for canonical LR, IELR, and LALR without sacrificing
%nonassoc, default reductions, or state merging.  When LAC is in
use, canonical LR and IELR behave almost exactly the same for both
syntactically acceptable and syntactically unacceptable input.
While LALR still does not support the full language-recognition
power of canonical LR and IELR, LAC at least enables LALR's syntax
error handling to correctly reflect LALR's language-recognition
  power.

Currently, LAC is only supported for deterministic parsers in C.
You can enable LAC with the following directive:

    %define parse.lac full

See the new section `LAC' in the Bison manual for additional
  details including a few caveats.

LAC is an experimental feature.  More user feedback will help to
  stabilize it.

** %define improvements:

*** Can now be invoked via the command line:

  Each of these command-line options

    -D NAME[=VALUE]
    --define=NAME[=VALUE]

    -F NAME[=VALUE]
    --force-define=NAME[=VALUE]

is equivalent to this grammar file declaration

    %define NAME ["VALUE"]

except that the manner in which Bison processes multiple definitions
for the same NAME differs.  Most importantly, -F and --force-define
quietly override %define, but -D and --define do not.  For further
details, see the section `Bison Options' in the Bison manual.

*** Variables renamed:

  The following %define variables

    api.push_pull
    lr.keep_unreachable_states

  have been renamed to

    api.push-pull
    lr.keep-unreachable-states

The old names are now deprecated but will be maintained indefinitely
  for backward compatibility.

*** Values no longer need to be quoted in the grammar file:

If a %define value is an identifier, it no longer needs to be placed
  within quotations marks.  For example,

    %define api.push-pull "push"

  can be rewritten as

    %define api.push-pull push

*** Unrecognized variables are now errors not warnings.

*** Multiple invocations for any variable is now an error not a warning.

** Unrecognized %code qualifiers are now errors not warnings.

** Character literals not of length one:

Previously, Bison quietly converted all character literals to length
one.  For example, without warning, Bison interpreted the operators in
the following grammar to be the same token:

    exp: exp '++'
      | exp '+' exp
      ;

Bison now warns when a character literal is not of length one.  In
some future release, Bison will start reporting an error instead.

** Destructor calls fixed for lookaheads altered in semantic actions:

Previously for deterministic parsers in C, if a user semantic action
altered yychar, the parser in some cases used the old yychar value to
determine which destructor to call for the lookahead upon a syntax
error or upon parser return.  This bug has been fixed.

** C++ parsers use YYRHSLOC:

Similarly to the C parsers, the C++ parsers now define the YYRHSLOC
macro and use it in the default YYLLOC_DEFAULT.  You are encouraged
to use it.  If, for instance, your location structure has `first'
  and `last' members, instead of

      # define YYLLOC_DEFAULT(Current, Rhs, N)                            \
        do                                                                \
          if (N)                                                          \
            {                                                              \
              (Current).first = (Rhs)[1].location.first;                  \
              (Current).last  = (Rhs)[N].location.last;                    \
            }                                                              \
          else                                                            \
            {                                                              \
              (Current).first = (Current).last = (Rhs)[0].location.last;  \
            }                                                              \
        while (false)

  use:

      # define YYLLOC_DEFAULT(Current, Rhs, N)                            \
        do                                                                \
          if (N)                                                          \
            {                                                              \
              (Current).first = YYRHSLOC (Rhs, 1).first;                  \
              (Current).last  = YYRHSLOC (Rhs, N).last;                    \
            }                                                              \
          else                                                            \
            {                                                              \
              (Current).first = (Current).last = YYRHSLOC (Rhs, 0).last;  \
            }                                                              \
        while (false)

** YYLLOC_DEFAULT in C++:

The default implementation of YYLLOC_DEFAULT used to be issued in
the header file.  It is now output in the implementation file, after
the user %code sections so that its #ifndef guard does not try to
override the user's YYLLOC_DEFAULT if provided.

** YYFAIL now produces warnings and Java parsers no longer implement it:

YYFAIL has existed for many years as an undocumented feature of
deterministic parsers in C generated by Bison.  More recently, it was
a documented feature of Bison's experimental Java parsers.  As
promised in Bison 2.4.2's NEWS entry, any appearance of YYFAIL in a
semantic action now produces a deprecation warning, and Java parsers
no longer implement YYFAIL at all.  For further details, including a
discussion of how to suppress C preprocessor warnings about YYFAIL
being unused, see the Bison 2.4.2 NEWS entry.

** Temporary hack for adding a semicolon to the user action:

Previously, Bison appended a semicolon to every user action for
reductions when the output language defaulted to C (specifically, when
  neither %yacc, %language, %skeleton, or equivalent command-line
options were specified).  This allowed actions such as

    exp: exp "+" exp { $$ = $1 + $3 };

  instead of

    exp: exp "+" exp { $$ = $1 + $3; };

As a first step in removing this misfeature, Bison now issues a
warning when it appends a semicolon.  Moreover, in cases where Bison
cannot easily determine whether a semicolon is needed (for example, an
action ending with a cpp directive or a braced compound initializer),
it no longer appends one.  Thus, the C compiler might now complain
about a missing semicolon where it did not before.  Future releases of
Bison will cease to append semicolons entirely.

** Verbose syntax error message fixes:

When %error-verbose or the obsolete `#define YYERROR_VERBOSE' is
specified, syntax error messages produced by the generated parser
include the unexpected token as well as a list of expected tokens.
The effect of %nonassoc on these verbose messages has been corrected
in two ways, but a more complete fix requires LAC, described above:

*** When %nonassoc is used, there can exist parser states that accept no
tokens, and so the parser does not always require a lookahead token
in order to detect a syntax error.  Because no unexpected token or
expected tokens can then be reported, the verbose syntax error
message described above is suppressed, and the parser instead
reports the simpler message, `syntax error'.  Previously, this
suppression was sometimes erroneously triggered by %nonassoc when a
lookahead was actually required.  Now verbose messages are
suppressed only when all previous lookaheads have already been
    shifted or discarded.

*** Previously, the list of expected tokens erroneously included tokens
that would actually induce a syntax error because conflicts for them
were resolved with %nonassoc in the current parser state.  Such
tokens are now properly omitted from the list.

*** Expected token lists are still often wrong due to state merging
(from LALR or IELR) and default reductions, which can both add
invalid tokens and subtract valid tokens.  Canonical LR almost
completely fixes this problem by eliminating state merging and
default reductions.  However, there is one minor problem left even
when using canonical LR and even after the fixes above.  That is,
if the resolution of a conflict with %nonassoc appears in a later
parser state than the one at which some syntax error is
discovered, the conflicted token is still erroneously included in
the expected token list.  Bison's new LAC implementation,
described above, eliminates this problem and the need for
canonical LR.  However, LAC is still experimental and is disabled
    by default.

** Java skeleton fixes:

*** A location handling bug has been fixed.

*** The top element of each of the value stack and location stack is now
cleared when popped so that it can be garbage collected.

*** Parser traces now print the top element of the stack.

** -W/--warnings fixes:

*** Bison now properly recognizes the `no-' versions of categories:

For example, given the following command line, Bison now enables all
warnings except warnings for incompatibilities with POSIX Yacc:

    bison -Wall,no-yacc gram.y

*** Bison now treats S/R and R/R conflicts like other warnings:

Previously, conflict reports were independent of Bison's normal
warning system.  Now, Bison recognizes the warning categories
`conflicts-sr' and `conflicts-rr'.  This change has important
consequences for the -W and --warnings command-line options.  For
  example:

    bison -Wno-conflicts-sr gram.y  # S/R conflicts not reported
    bison -Wno-conflicts-rr gram.y  # R/R conflicts not reported
bison -Wnone            gram.y  # no conflicts are reported
bison -Werror          gram.y  # any conflict is an error

However, as before, if the %expect or %expect-rr directive is
specified, an unexpected number of conflicts is an error, and an
expected number of conflicts is not reported, so -W and --warning
then have no effect on the conflict report.

*** The `none' category no longer disables a preceding `error':

For example, for the following command line, Bison now reports
errors instead of warnings for incompatibilities with POSIX Yacc:

    bison -Werror,none,yacc gram.y

*** The `none' category now disables all Bison warnings:

Previously, the `none' category disabled only Bison warnings for
which there existed a specific -W/--warning category.  However,
given the following command line, Bison is now guaranteed to
  suppress all warnings:

    bison -Wnone gram.y

** Precedence directives can now assign token number 0:

Since Bison 2.3b, which restored the ability of precedence
directives to assign token numbers, doing so for token number 0 has
produced an assertion failure.  For example:

    %left END 0

  This bug has been fixed.

Updated misc/dialog to 1.1.20110707

(wiz)

2011-07-12 13:50:08 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.1.20110707:

2011/07/07
+ modify util.c to work better with old versions of ncurses:
+ suppress use of wchgat() before fix in 20060715 which is needed
for simple shadow manipulation used here in 2011/06/30 (report
    by xDog Walker).
  + add a null-pointer check in dlg_print_scrolled()
+ fix a regression in dlg_getc() introduced by changes to intercept
F1 for help-popup (report by xDog Walker).

2011/06/30
+ correct license statement for prgbox.c (Debian #632198).
+ correct layout when "--colors" is used, by discounting characters in
the escape sequences from the column counts (report by xDog Walker).
+ modify dlg_checklist() so that only one item in the list can
initially be selected (report by xDog Walker).
+ add/use macro dlg_enter_buttoncode() to improve implementation of
"--nook" option (report by xDog Walker).
+ add option "--no-nl-expand" to suppress the conversion of "\n"
strings into newlines (request by xDog Walker).
+ modify LIB_CREATE symbol in makefile.in to include the library
dependencies such as ncurses.  This is needed when dynamically
loading the library (report/analysis by xDog Walker).
+ modify dlg_exit_label() to suppress the Cancel button, for
  consistency.
+ modify dlg_exit_label() to honor the --nook option, except when there
is no other button, e.g., the help-button.
+ modify dlg_exit_buttoncode() so that it returns the proper code for
  help-button (report by xDog Walker).
+ correct loop limit when processing "--column-separator" (report by
  xDog Walker).
+ modify handling of "--version" and "--help" to ensure that they are
processed, and exit before widgets.  Separate "--print-version"
from "--version", allowing its output to be interspersed with
widget output (report by xDog Walker).
+ correct a few places where "--version" or "--help" options went
always to stdout rather than allowing redirection with the "--stderr"
  option (report by xDog Walker).
+ improve repainting after erasing a widget and its shadow.
+ add "--hline" and "--hfile" options for compatibility with FreeBSD
  dialog (request by Devin Teske).
+ add dialog version message when opening a trace file (request by
  xDog Walker).
+ show filename of rc-file in traces.
+ add piped-in data for gauge widget to traces.
+ add entrypoints to gauge widget, for allocating, updating and freeing
the widget (adapted from patch by Stephen Hurd).
+ fix a reference to freed memory in the gauge widget.
+ fix --no-mouse option by actually closing the mouse (report by
  xDog Walker).
+ add sk.po from
http://translationproject.org/latest/dialog/
+ limit Solaris xpg4 portability fix for redefinition of ERR to cover
the specific value found in <sys/regset.h>, in case an application
includes dialog.h after curses.h (FreeBSD #156601, report by Jaakko
  Heinonen, Stephen Hurd).
+ updated configure macros:
  + CF_CURSES_CPPFLAGS,
+ CF_CURSES_LIBS, make checks for special libraries on hpux10 and
    sunos4 optional
+ CF_CURSES_FUNCS, workaround for bug in gcc 4.2.1 (FreeBSD 8.1)
which caused part of test program to be omitted, i.e., when it saw
two return-statements in a row it omitted the _first_ one.  Also
add expression to pointer check to help FreeBSD's linker decide it
should be validated.  Just an assignment was not enough.  Also, add
    check for unctrl.h
  + CF_CURSES_HEADER, change order for curses.h / ncurses.h pairs to
put ncurses.h first, which will tend to provide the same #define's
as in CF_NCURSES_HEADER (report by Dennis Preiser).
+ CF_CURSES_TERM_H, modify to avoid spurious check for
<curses.hterm.h> if there is no ncurses version.  Look for
ncurses's term.h anyway, to work around breakage by packagers who
    separate ncurses' header files.
  + CF_DISABLE_RPATH_HACK, fix garbled message
  + CF_LD_RPATH_OPT, add mirbsd
  + CF_MAKEFLAGS, filter out GNU make's entering/leaving messages.
This only appeared when using the macro in a dpkg script, though it
    should have in other cases.
+ CF_RPATH_HACK, add a check for libraries not found, e.g., from
suppressed functionality of gcc in linking from /usr/local/lib, and
add a -L option to help work around this.
+ CF_XOPEN_SOURCE, workaround for cygwin to get ncurses' configure
    script to define _XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED (cygwin's features.h
doesn't do anything, so it needs a crutch).
+ updated config.guess, config.sub

Updated fonts/font-schumacher-misc to 1.1.2

(wiz)

2011-07-12 13:45:51 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.1.2:

    font-schumacher-misc 1.1.2

config: Use the shorthand --disable-all-encodings option in font-util v1.2

This option is useful to disable all possible font encodings at once,
without fine-graining the calling ebuilds for a list of encodings
    supported by each font package.

The option is parsed before all other encoding options, so it basically
sets defaults for all of them. Afterwards, any encoding can be
re-enabled back using '--enable-<encoding>' (much like
    '--disable-all-encodings --enable-iso8859-2').

    font-schumacher-misc 1.1.1

Makefile.am: add ChangeLog and INSTALL on MAINTAINERCLEANFILES

Now that the INSTALL file is generated.
    Allows running make maintainer-clean.

Makefile.am: add INSTALL target and clean ChangeLog DIST targets

Add INSTALL target to generate file with INSTALL_CMD #24206
ChangeLog is not required in EXTRA_DIST  #24432
ChangeLog is not required in MAINTAINERCLEANFILES #24432

INSTALL, NEWS, README COPYING or AUTHORS files are missing/incorrect #24206

Add missing INSTALL file. Use standard GNU file on building tarball
    README may have been updated
    COPYING may have been updated
Remove AUTHORS file as it is empty and no content available yet.
Remove NEWS file as it is empty and no content available yet.

.gitignore: use common defaults with custom section # 24239

Using common defaults will reduce errors and maintenance.
Only the very small or inexistent custom section need periodic maintenance
when the structure of the component changes. Do not edit defaults.

Update to 3.01a05:

All:

- The makefile system now by default disables smake Simple Suffix Rules
and the POSIX Suffix Rules in order to speed up inference rule search.

Libschily:

- New functions mkgmtime() mklgmtime() and timegm()

Libfind:

- libfind no longer aborts with a lack of memory but writes an error
message

- libfind now correctly frees memory that has been allocated internaly
from treewalk()

Mkisofs (Maintained/enhanced by J

- Mkisofs now correctly supports El Torito multi boot entries by introducing
a Boot Dection Header before a list of alternate boot entries.

- New option -eltorito-platform allows to set the El Torito platform id
for a boot entry or for a list of boot entries. Supported values for the
parameter are:

- x86 the standard value vor x86 based PCs

- PPC the Power PC platform

- Mac The Apple Mac platform

- efi EFI based boot for PCs

- # an arbitrary numerical value

- New option -modification-date allows to specify a predictable UUID for grub.

The syntax is: YYYY[MM[DD[HH[MM[SS]]]]][.hh][+-GHGM] and is forgiving
enought to accept the pupular POSIX date format created by:

date "+%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S %z"

Disable SSE2 support for NetBSD-*-x86_64. This prevents segfaults under
NetBSD/amd64 5.1_STABLE. Bump package revision because of this change.

It is possible that SSE2 support works fine if "pixman" is built with
NetBSD-current's newer toolchain. If you have such a setup please
test it and adjust the package accordingly if appropriate.

Updated graphics/xsane to 0.99.8

(wiz)

2011-07-12 13:25:57 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 0.99.8:

xsane-0.994 -> 0.995:
---------------------

- changed layout of copy setup, removed border around all setup tabs

- changed layout of xsane main window

- xsane-front-gtk.c: xsane_browse_filename_callback: xsane.cms_function_option_menu is only updated when xsane.enable_color_management is active

- xsane-save.c: write_smtp_header(): it is allowed to specify multiple mail receivers in a comma separated list now

- xsane-save.c: write_smtp_header(): MAIL FROM and RCPT TO use syntax "<user@domain.org>" instead of "user@domain.org" now

- xsane-front-gtk.c: created xsane_progress_bar_set_fraction which uses the gtk2
functions when available and which only updates the progress_bar every 2.5 percent
what speeds up several functions - especially saving file routines -

  xsane*.c: replaced all gtk_progress_bar_update() by xsane_progress_bar_set_fraction()

- xsane-back-gtk.c: in function xsane_back_gtk_value_update()
  replaced comparison for SANE_FIX values
    if (new_val != val)
  by
    if (abs(new_val - val) > 1)

- changed all "scanarea" to "scan_area" or "scan area"

- xsane-gtk-1_x-compat.h: changed gtk_progress_bar_set_ellipsize() to
  gtk_progress_bar_set_ellipsize(pbar, mode)

- xsane_help_no_devices() changed buf size to 1024

xsane-0.995 -> 0.996:
---------------------

- removed bug when deleting medium types: removed free() command, added realloc()

- xsane_viewer.c: reduced maximum viewer size form gdk_screen_width/gdk_screen_height to
  gdk_screen_width-1/gdk_screen_height-1

- xsane-save.c: PDF: ICC object 4+5 are initialized with offset 0
- xsane-save.c: PDF: objects with offset 0 are makred free (f) in xref table

xsane-0.996 -> 0.997:

- removed SANE_CAP_ALWAYS_SETTABLE (not SANE1)
- added test for (opt->size == 0) for SANE_TYPE_STRING in xsane.c
- in gtk_adjustment_new changed page_size from (min-max)*1e-30 to 0
because new gtk versions don`t like non zero values for spinbuttons
- added several gdk_drawable_unref(mask)

xsane-0.997 -> 0.998:
---------------------
- removed bug saving image as 16 bit png:
until now all low byte data has been a copy of the high byte data,
so in fact all images saved untile xsane-0.997 are saved as 8 bit image
  in a 16 bit format.
- changed some more gtk_adjustment_new(...) page_sizes to 0

2011-07-12 12:03:28 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 2.4.7:

Between 2.4.6 and 2.4.7, the following bugfixes were included:

[20804] Bug #653056: Fix menu accelerators not working, crash
    on save-while-quitting.
[20800] Bug #646541: new invoice line items default to invoice
open date instead of current date This commit partially reverts
the changes in r19134 so that customer invoices and employee
vouchers default to the current date. Vendor bills still default
    to the invoice open date.
[20798] Fix report reload and options change that got broken
    by the previous commit.
[20796] Force custom url handlers to lowercase to deal with
Webkit 1.4's case sensitivity. For more details, consult this
    Fedora bugreport: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=712268
[20792] Bug #652257 - Memory leak in gnc-file.c Patch by Tim
    M
[20786] Bug #652435 - Fancy invoice export has <generic> tags
in it preventing html validation Patch by Bert Claesen
    [20785] Bug #652377 - XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliance for
    reports Patch by Tim M
[20784] Bug #632931 - Advanced Portfolio: new income column
shows negative amount Patch by Sebastien Alborini
    [20783] Bug #651889 - Using trading accounts, new non-expanded
trading transaction shows inverted rates in exchange dialog
When using trading accounts, the exchange rate dialog has a
slightly different behavior. This patch fixes the behavior for
transactions that are created in-line and are not expanded
(single-line). It does not affect the expanded transactions or
transactions created in the new transaction dialog. Patch by
    Mathieu De Zutter
[20782] Bug #651992 - Exported invoices do not render correctly
in Firefox Patch by Bert Claesen
    [20760] Bug #612562 - Transfer Funds dialog - 'Show Income/Expense'
    checkboxes are not working
[20750] Windows build: change default gtk theme to work around
a number of problems in the Ms-Windows theme we used before.
Particularly, this prevents the crash caused by bug #614636
and fixes the black notebook tabs that appeared after Phil
upgraded webkit and many related gnome dependencies. The new
default theme is "Nimbus" following a suggestion by Kim Wood
    on the mailing list.
[20746] Bug #652193 - Upcoming Scheduled Transactions Calendar
Starting Month Error. Patch by Rich
[20745] Replace deprecated xml tag in chart of accounts templates

Between 2.4.5 and 2.4.6, the following bugfixes were included:

Preserve selection around the call to gtk_editable_set_position.
This lets us drop the racy gnucash_sheet_select_data_cb, which
    fixes problems with lost input.
Add a gnc_quartz_set_menu call to main_window_new() so that
newly created windows get their menus on the mac menu.
Fix up the Mac shutdown process to give Gnucash a chance to
clean up without spewing critical errors about the main loop
already running (because of calling gnc_shutdown in an event
    handler).
Bug #650241: Fix style for aging table in owner reports that
has changed (after defining doctype) Prevent inheriting the
parent tablestyle for aging table in owner-report.
Bug #650757: Fix Easy & footer styles output wrong tags </btd>
iso </b></td> preventing HTML 4.01 Transitional validation This
patch removes the wrong </btd> tags and closes the center tag
in the footer and easy stylesheets.
Bug #645221: Patch to show the headline as an h3 across all
stylesheets The attached patch makes sure that the title fonts
set through the options menu behaves consistently across all
    style sheets.
Bug #620123: Patch to make account name a header cell, iso td
    in trial-balance
Bug #648554: SQL backend doesn't correctly save taxable flag
    on bills.
Bug #650163: Fix Technicolor style that outputs wrong tags
    <btd> instead of <b><td>
Bug #650139: Fix missing doctype preventing HTML 4.01 transitional
validation Exported reports lack a document type, preventing
HTML validation. When exporting this may lead browsers to
incorrectly read the reports generated by GnuCash.
Bug #650138: Style plain: Fix incorrect <p> tag around <h3>
    preventing HTML 4.01 transitional validation
Bug #649992: Let owner-report aging table include due date /
post date options in aging. The attached patch patches the
owner report to: *Allow a choice between the use of Due Date
and Date Posted *Report with the current bucket
Bug #649608: Skip non-enabled Scheduled Transactions for Future
    Txn report
Update Slovak translation, copied from the Translation Project.
Bug #646729: Create the lockfile with at least read write user
    permissions

    running custom reports
Bug #644897: Correctly link in libgncmod-report-gnome.la to
avoid linking against an installed version.
Bug #646268: Fix missing GWEN_SYNCIO initialization.
Bug #644762: Deprecated __new__() call in function_class.py
Bug #647360: Invoice entries in expense voucher are created in
old voucher, not in new one. It worked fine for customer
invoices, and vendor bills, but not expense vouchers, where
the feature was broken all along.
Bug #647242: Fix broken averaging for quarter or half-year step
    size
Bug #647316: Fix crash when deleting custom report if no backup
file existed. Before deleting the backup file by (delete-file),
it must be checked whether the to-be-deleted file exists,
otherwise the guile procedure will crash.
Fix warning about NULL guid_list in xaccQueryAddAccountGUIDMatch,
which caused some total amounts in reports to disappear.
    Apparently gnc:account-get-trans-type-splits-interval didn't
watch out for empty lists of accounts, and the resulting split
list somehow was bogus. Now that we check for empty account
list, all is fine again. This was broken for some months by
    now, maybe since r20404?
Bug #628342 - Quick open on File menu deleted if failed
Bug #629156 Recently Used Filenames incorrectly displayed

In 2.4.6, translations for Japanese language were updated.

On the PowerPC compiler, the altivec builtin functions vec_ld and
vec_st have been modified to generate the Altivec memory instructions
LVX and STVX, even if the -mvsx option is used. In the initial GCC
4.5 release, these builtin functions were changed to generate VSX
memory reference instructions instead of Altivec memory instructions,
but there are differences between the two instructions. If the VSX
instruction set is available, you can now use the new builtin
functions vec_vsx_ld and vec_vsx_st which always generates the VSX
memory instructions.

pkgsrc change: since the pkg was changed to build against "nettle"
instead of libgcrypt (whether this was a good idea or not...), the
latter isn't needed anymore, so remove the stale dependency
This can cause build breakage -- in this case addition of a local
dependency should restore the old state. (This dependency is technically
unnecessary often, but the assumption that gnutls needs libgcrypt
is sometimes hardwired in configure scripts and/or code.)

Updated security/stunnel to 4.39

(ryoon)

2011-07-11 14:20:24 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 4.39

Version 4.39, 2011.07.06, urgency: LOW:

    New features
New Win32 installer module to build self-signed stunnel.pem.
Added configuration file editing with Windows GUI.
Added log file reopening file editing with Windows GUI. It might be useful to also implement log file rotation.
Improved configuration file reload with Windows GUI.

Version 4.38, 2011.06.28, urgency: MEDIUM:

    New features
Server-side SNI implemented (RFC 3546 section 3.1) with a new service-level option "nsi".
"socket" option also accepts "yes" and "no" for flags.
Nagle's algorithm is now disabled by default for improved interactivity.
    Bugfixes
A compilation fix was added for OpenSSL version < 1.0.0.
Signal pipe set to non-blocking mode. This bug caused hangs of stunnel features based on signals, e.g. local mode, FORK threading, or configuration file reload on Unix. Win32 platform was not affected.

Version 4.37, 2011.06.17, urgency: MEDIUM:

    New features
        Client-side SNI implemented (RFC 3546 section 3.1).
Default "ciphers" changed from the OpenSSL default to a more secure and faster "RC4-MD5:HIGH:!aNULL:!SSLv2". A paranoid (and usually slower) setting would be "HIGH:!aNULL:!SSLv2".
Recommended "options = NO_SSLv2" added to the sample stunnel.conf file.
Default client method upgraded from SSLv3 to TLSv1. To connect servers without TLS support use "sslVersion = SSLv3" option.
        Improved --enable-fips and --disable-fips ./configure option handling.
On startup stunnel now compares the compiled version of OpenSSL against the running version of OpenSSL. A warning is logged on mismatch.
    Bugfixes
Non-blocking socket handling in local mode fixed (Debian bug #626856).
        UCONTEXT threading mode fixed.
Removed the use of gcc Thread-Local Storage for improved portability.
va_copy macro defined for platforms that do not have it.
Fixed "local" option parsing on IPv4 systems.
Solaris compilation fix (redefinition of "STR").

Version 4.36, 2011.05.03, urgency: LOW:

    New features
Updated Win32 DLLs for OpenSSL 1.0.0d.
Dynamic memory management for strings manipulation: no more static STRLEN limit, lower stack footprint.
Strict public key comparison added for "verify = 3" certificate checking mode (thx to Philipp Hartwig).
Backlog parameter of listen(2) changed from 5 to SOMAXCONN: improved behavior on heavy load.
Example tools/stunnel.service file added for systemd service manager.
    Bugfixes
Missing pthread_attr_destroy() added to fix memory leak (thx to Paul Allex and Peter Pentchev).
Fixed the incorrect way of setting FD_CLOEXEC flag.
Fixed --enable-libwrap option of ./configure script.
/opt/local added to OpenSSL search path for MacPorts compatibility.
Workaround implemented for signal handling on MacOS X.
A trivial bug fixed in the stunnel.init script.
Retry implemented on EAI_AGAIN error returned by resolver calls.

Version 4.35, 2011.02.05, urgency: LOW:

    New features
Updated Win32 DLLs for OpenSSL 1.0.0c.
Transparent source (non-local bind) added for FreeBSD 8.x.
Transparent destination ("transparent = destination") added for Linux.
    Bugfixes
        Fixed reload of FIPS-enabled stunnel.

0.14.0
Targets
ARM
Most of the changes are related to bug fixes and improvements to match what the real hardware does. For now there is no new board or CPU.

MIPS
Host CPU consumption for idle guests
    Timer fixes
    FPU improvements

SH4
Various bug fixes and improvements including
SM501 2D engine copyrect support, needed to boot recent kernels
MMU mmaped TLB access, needed to boot recent kernels
Floating point exceptions and correct NaN support.

PPC
    Fix running recent PPC64 kernels
    New maintainer: Alexander Graf
    Improve interrupt injection with KVM
Enable PV enabled guests for speedup with KVM
    Floating point fixes
    Add a ppc-440x5 Xilinx model
    Add a virtex5 ml507 refdesign board for ppc-440x5
    BookE MMU emulation improvements

s390x
    No news, business as usual.

SPARC
Fix div(cc) and sdiv(cc) instruction emulation, fixes Xorg crash in the guest

Hosts
ARM
    Fix random crashes
    Fix 64-bit big-endian targets support

MIPS
    Fix random crashes

IA64
Fix random crashes for 32-bit targets

Devices
IDE / AHCI
Added emulation layer for an ICH-9 AHCI controller (not yet stable). Tested with Linux, OpenBSD, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The AHCI emulation supports NCQ, so multiple read or write requests can be outstanding at the same time.
to use it, use the following command line snippet: -drive id=disk, file=<your image goes here>,if=none -device ahci,id=ahci -device ide-drive,drive=disk,bus=ahci.0

SCSI
Various bug fixes, no new features.

USB
Added USB support for remote wakeup, allowing the guest to suspend the USB bus when idle, which in turn reduces the CPU overhead of an idle machine.
The USB subsystem also got a bunch of patches to prepare it for USB 2.0 support.

virtio
virtio-pci can use ioeventfd for virtqueue notify. On systems that support KVM, the ioeventfd mechanism can be used to make virtqueue notify a lightweight exit by deferring hardware emulation to the iothread and allowing the VM to continue execution. This model is similar to how vhost receives virtqueue notifies. The result of this change is improved performance for userspace virtio devices. Virtio-blk throughput increases especially for multithreaded scenarios and virtio-net transmit throughput increases substantially. Read the commit message for more details.
Various fixes and stabilization for live-migration:
    Various virtio-net improvements:
        Make tx_timer timeout configurable
Limit number of packets sent per TX flush
Introduce a new bottom half packet TX
        Fix cross-endianness support

PCI/PCI Express
Improved PCI Express support and functionalities with the implementation of:
        flr (Function Level Reset)
aer (Advanced Error Reporting) and other improvements
A new monitor command to inject errors into the PCI bus: pcie_aer_inject_error
Implementation of Message Signaled Interrupts (MSI/MSI-X) support
Separation of the PCI bridge code from the main PCI code.

Sound
New Intel HD Audio support, adding three new devices:
intel-hda: Intel HD Audio Controller, the PCI device.
hda-duplex: HDA Codec. Attaches to the HDA bus. Supports 16bit stereo, rates 16k -> 96k, playback, recording and volume control (with CONFIG_MIXEMU=y).
hda-output: HDA Codec without recording support. Subset of the hda-duplex codec. Use this if you don't want your guests access your mic.
Usage: add '-device intel-hda -device hda-duplex' to your command line.
    Tested guests:
        Linux works.
        Win7 works.
        DOS (mpxplay) works.
        WinXP doesn't work.

Real Time Clock
    Fix binary/BCD mode switch

Video
Fix cirrus VGA crash with some guests
    Fix curses big endian support

Block Drivers
qcow2
Added a writeback metadata cache. This improves performance of scenarios with lots of cluster allocations noticably (e.g. installation or after taking a snapshot), in some benchmarks by a factor of ten or more. Use cache=none or cache=writeback to take advantage from this change.
    Copy snapshots out of QCOW2 disk, eg: qemu-img convert -f qcow2 -O qcow2 -s snapshot_name src_img bck_img
    Zero-copy read and write operations
    Other fixes and code cleanups:
qcow2: Invalidate cache after failed read
block: Allow bdrv_flush to return errors
        qcow2: Simplify image creation
qcow2: Fixes unaligned access on IA64

qed
Introduction of the QEMU Enhanced Disk (qed) image format. It is a disk image format that forgoes features found in qcow2 in favor of better levels of performance and data integrity. Due to its simpler on-disk layout, it is possible to safely perform metadata updates more efficiently.
    More information about qed: http://wiki.qemu.org/Features/QED
    Initial thread discussion: http://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/qemu-devel/2010-09/msg00310.html

ceph/rbd
Introduction of the new ceph/rbd block driver. RBD is an block driver for the distributed file system Ceph.
    More information about ceph: http://ceph.newdream.net/

nbd
Improve qemu-nbd performance by 4400 %. This patch combines the reply header and payload send operation.
    Introduce NBD named exports.

Spice
New support for the SPICE protocol. The project main focus is to provide high-quality remote access to QEMU virtual machines. More information about SPICE can be found at the project's web site: http://spice-space.org/
New qxl device. qxl is a paravirtual graphics card. The qxl device is the bridge between the guest and the spice server (aka libspice-server). The spice server will send the rendering commands to the spice client, which will actually render them. The spice server is also able to render locally, which is done in case the guest wants read something from video memory. Local rendering is also used to support display over vnc and sdl. qxl is activated using -vga qxl. qxl supports multihead, additional cards can be added via '-device qxl.
    Relevant commits:
        spice: core bits
        spice: add keyboard
        spice: add mouse
        spice: simple display
        spice: add tablet support
        spice: tls support
        spice: make compression configurable.
spice: add config options for channel security.
spice: add config options for the listening address
        spice: add misc config options
        spice: add audio
        spice: add qxl device
        spice: connection events.

QMP / monitor

TODO: QMP is now stable, except for error reporting?
The work to facilitate the management of QEMU instances has been improved. QMP has received various fixes. Now it is possible to call a traditional monitor command through QMP, in case your application depends on the output or the command is not yet ported to QMP.
    New commands:
        query-spice / info spice
        human-monitor-command
        set_password
        drive_del
block_resize command, allowing resizing of block devices while qemu is running. For virtio-blk the size is updated automatically when this command is issued on the host. IDE is not supported. For SCSI devices the new size can be updated in Linux guests by doing the following shell command:

echo > /sys/class/scsi_device/0:0:0:0/device/rescan

Tracing
Introduction of platform-independent tracing, more information about it: http://wiki.qemu.org/Features/Tracing
    Documentation and tutorial: http://git.qemu.org/qemu.git/plain/docs/tracing.txt
    Some relevant commits:
Add trace-events file for declaring trace events
Add a DTrace tracing backend targetted for SystemTAP compatibility
        Add LTTng Userspace Tracer backend
        Add simple built-in tracing backend
        Add stderr trace-event backend:
Support for dynamically enabling/disabling trace events
        Specify trace file name
Add trace-file command to open/close/flush trace file

Other stuff
Extend -option-rom command to have additional parameter bootindex
Little endian / big endian MMIO framework. Until now, most devices had special hacks to allow them to work on big and little endian systems (ppc / x86). With that framework, they should mostly work with both and not require and device specific hacks anymore.
