ldns-1.6.4 from PR 42675:

        * Bugfix: parse PTR target of .tomhendrikx.nl with error not
          crash.  * Bugfix: handle escaped characters in TXT rdata.
        * bug292: no longer crash on malformed domain names where a
          label is on position 255, which was a buffer overflow by one.
        * Fix ldns_get_rr_list_hosts_frm_fp_l (strncpy to strlcpy
          change), which fixes resolv.conf reading badly terminated string
          buffers.
        * Fix ldns_pkt_set_random_id to be more random, and a little
          faster, it did not do value 0 statistically correctly.
        * Fix ldns_rdf2native_sockaddr_storage to set sockaddr type to
          zeroes, for portability.
        * bug295: nsec3-hash routine no longer case sensitive.
        * bug298: drill failed nsec3 denial of existence proof.

Updated net/pure-ftpd to 1.0.27

(obache)

2010-02-04 12:34:09 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update pure-ftpd to 1.0.27.
Based on PR#42711 by Fredrik Pettai.

Pkgsrc changes:
Honor VARBASE.

* Version 1.0.27:
- IPv6 connections are accepted again (regression from version 1.0.26)
- SSLv3 renegociation has been disabled
- .pureftpd-upload-* files can be deleted by users with no quota.
- The server can be forced to shut down on iPhone.

* Version 1.0.26:
- Fix incompatibilities with Cyberduck and dramatically speed up directory
listings and transfers when TLS is enabled with some other clients like LFTP.
- Allow authentication of non-chrooted users again. It was a regression
from version 1.0.25. Spotted by Juergen Daubert.

* Version 1.0.25:
- The FTP server can now be built as a library for iPhone and iPod Touch.
- Display symbolic links in the MSLD command as symbolic links, unless the
broken clients mode is enabled, just like STAT/LIST/NLST.
- Enhanced compatibility with gcc 2.x and with custom installation paths.
- Fix packaging issues, especially when the server isn't installed in the
default paths
- Downloads now require less CPU and less memory.
- Fix an infinite loop that could lead to a client process burning a CPU
core if the client didn't disconnect properly. Reported by Thomas Min and
Margus Kaidja.
- Handle fake download resumes the traditional way for the sake of being
compatible with weird clients that insist on doing that.
- The group name is now always displayed instead of the gid when it matches the
primary user group.

* Version 1.0.24:
- When using LDAP in BIND mode, empty passwords are refused. Reported by
Henning Brauer.

* Version 1.0.23:
- The LDAP schema has been fixed.
- LDAP authentication through binding is now possible in addition to
passwords. This allows for the FTP server to run with an unprivileged LDAP
account.
- In LDAP objects, the "enabled" value is accepted again as a FTPStatus
property.
- Privilege separation is now enabled by default.
- The server should now properly compile on Solaris with privsep.
- Charset conversions are properly made on directory names.
- Transfers now handle every kind of disconnection.
- More informative log messages for errors and activity reporting.
- Virtual quotas are way more reliable and uploads are interrupted as soon as
quotas are exceeded.
- Atomic uploads are only used when necessary and only if --notruncate is
enabled.
- Dangling .pureftpd-upload files should be a thing of past.
- Enhanced conformance with RFCs and better compatibility with FTP clients.
- Improved SSL performance, compatibility and commands support.
- By default, up to 10000 files per directory can be listed instead of 2000.
- ALLO can now tell clients whether an upload would blow quotas before the
upload actually starts.
- PAM is now enabled by default on OSX.
- Switch euid to the _pure-ftpd account (unless it's nonexistent) in the
privsep process.
- --without-banner is not necessary any more. Having a cookie file
(--fortunefile=...) automatically disables the default banner, thus allowing
full customization of the welcome banner.
- ./configure --localstatedir is now honored in order to change the
run-time directory.
- Support for building a FTPS (implicit SSL/TLS) server, using
--with-implicittls

* Version 1.0.22:
- the LDAP authentication backend now supports TLS encryption.
- TLS encryption is supported on data channels.
- downloads require way less CPU time on platforms with slow mmap() calls.
- MySQL 5+ stored procedures can now be used in the authentication process.
- time zones issues should be fixed for good.
- on-demand directories can now be created with any set of permissions.
- password scrambling of MySQL 5+ is now supported.
- a catalan translation has been contributed.
- spurious disconnections due to some clients keepalive tricks have
been fixed.
- custom authentication handlers are now informed about the encryption
status of the session.
- standard-conformance and compatibility with several clients have improved.
- large files are now supported by default.
- enhanced support for Solaris.
- a bunch of bug fixes, optimizations and compatibility with newer
libraries and operating system versions.
- "ftp" and "anonymous" user names can have passwords if the -E switch (no
anonymous logins) is specified.
- in compatibility mode, non-dangling symbolic links are now displayed as
if they were regular files/directories.
- --with-everything now includes privsep.

  * Moose::Util::add_method_modifier (and subsequently the sugar functions Moose::before,
    Moose::after, and Moose::around) can now accept arrayrefs, with the same
    behavior as lists. Types other than arrayref and regexp result in an error.

Update to 4.0.1, bump ABI depends for shlib major change.

--- 4.0.1 2010/01/26

New glob file pattern utility. Like POSIX glob. For Windows too. Refer to
yaz/file_glob.h.

New simple local-file XML include facility which allows file glob-patterns.
Refer to yaz/xml_include.h.

Utility yaz-json-parse which parses JSON and demonstrates the JSON parser
API.

ZOOM_record_get supports new parameter "format" which makes it format XML
record content.

Fix JSON parser WRT start symbol. The start grammar symbol (referred to as
JSONText in ECMA-262) is JSONValue, not JSONObject.

--- 4.0.0 2010/01/20

Windows binaries for YAZ now compiled with Visual Studio 2008 (VC9).
Older versions of YAZ was compiled with Visual Studio 6.0 (1998).

Update so/DLL to version 4. Windows version builds YAZ4.DLL.
POSIX/Unix builds .so with major version 4.

Remove old LOG_-defines from log.h. They have been obsolete and
undefined by default for the last 5 years.

Odr_int is now of type 'long long'. Used to be 'int' in YAZ 3 series.

GFS: Remove socket (int *fd) from search_rr handler. The socket
descriptor ptr is a facility that allowed a search handler to supply
a socket which would serve as a callback - when search was complete.
This facility has now been in use for years.

COMSTACK API changes: cs_stackerr, cs_addrstr. COMSTACK method cs_stackerr
removed. It is not implemented by tcpip or unix COMSTACK, perhaps for ISO
SR which was removed 7 years ago. COMSTACK macro / method cs_addrstr now
returns 'const char *' rather than 'char *. The returned string is
read-only and should not be modified by applications. COMSTACK cs_close is
now a void function - it no longer returns int. No applications check for
the value and the implementations has always returned 0.

ZOOM: use size_t for scan hit counts and str size. Functions
ZOOM_scanset_term and ZOOM_scanset_display_term have changed, so that
occ (hit count) and len (string length) are now of type size_t pointer
rather than int pointer. This is to be able to represent large hit counts
and to also just to use the proper type for string length (strlen result).

New JSON parser. Refer to include/yaz/json.h .

WRBUF API changes.. For size parameters for WRBUF size_t is now used ..
Used to be int in some cases. Many wrbuf_-functions used to return an int
indicating some length.. These return values were never used. And so they
are now void.

ODR: odr_malloc, odr_total now takes size_t for size.

clone_z_type: fix leak; occurred for encoding failures.

Updated devel/py-Optik to 1.5.3

(obache)

2010-02-04 10:35:28 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update py-Optik to 1.5.3.
Based on PR#41674 by Kamel Derouiche.

1.5.3 (23 Jul 2006)
-------------------

  * Port r47026 from Python svn repository: fix unit test so
    it doesn't screw up other tests in the Python test suite.

1.5.2 (22 Jul 2006)
-------------------

  * Minor documentation tweaks.

  * SF bug #1498146: handle Unicode help strings (affects option help,
    description, and epilog).

1.5.1 (19 Apr 2006)
-------------------

  * Fix so the 'merge' script works again (bugs spotted, and mostly
    fixed, by Andrea 'fwyzard' Bocci).

  * SF bug #1145594: add 'destroy()' method to OptionParser so
    applications can explicitly break reference cycles, making life
    easier for Python's garbage collector.

  * SF feature #988126: add 'epilog' attribute to OptionParser
    (and constructor arg): paragraph of text to print after the
    main option help.

  * Corrected French translation (po/optik/fr.po) (Laurent Laporte).

  * Beefed up reference guide.

  * Backported to Python 2.0/2.1 (Giovanni Bajo).

1.5 (6 Dec 2004)
----------------

(All changes first released in Optik 1.5a1 except as noted.)

  * Optik now requires Python 2.2 or later.

  * Add expansion of default values in help text: the string
    "%default" in an option's help string is expanded to str() of
    that option's default value, or "none" if no default value.

  * SF bug #955889: option default values that happen to be strings are
    now processed in the same way as values from the command line; this
    allows generation of nicer help when using custom types.  Can
    be disabled with parser.set_process_default_values(False).

  * SF bug #960515: don't crash when generating help for callback
    options that specify 'type', but not 'dest' or 'metavar'.

  * SF feature #815264: change the default help format for short options
    that take an argument from e.g. "-oARG" to "-o ARG"; add
    set_short_opt_delimiter() and set_long_opt_delimiter() methods to
    HelpFormatter to allow (slight) customization of the formatting.

  * SF patch #736940: internationalize Optik: all built-in user-
    targeted literal strings are passed through gettext.gettext().  Also
    added po/ directory for message catalog and translations, so that
    Optik-based applications have a single place to go for translations
    of Optik's built-in messags.  Include translations for Danish and
    German (thanks to Frederik S. Olesen and Martin v. L
    respectively), and partial translations for French (by me).

  * SF bug #878453 (Python): respect $COLUMNS environment variable for
    wrapping help output.

  * SF feature #964317: allow type objects to specify option types;
    allow "str" as an alias for "string".

  * SF feature #988122: expand "%prog" in the 'description' passed
    to OptionParser, just like in the 'usage' and 'version' strings.
    (This is *not* done in the 'description' passed to OptionGroup.)

  * Added HTML-formatted docs to the source distribution (in addition
    to the reStructuredText source files).

  * Added three new examples: custom_source.py, custom_type.py, and
    no_help.py.

  * Remove the old, broken "ignore" option conflict handler -- was
    only needed for compatibility with Optik 1.1.

  * Move documentation into docs/ directory, and write a script
    (mkpydoc) to automatically convert it to LaTeX for the Python
    standard library manual.  Many documentation improvements.
    (1.5a2)

  * SF #997100: attempt to avoid triggering a FutureWarning in
    __repr__() when using id() with "%x" (1.5a2).

  * SF #1048725: fix typo in Values.__eq__() introduced in 1.5a1.

  * Fix test script so it plays nice when being run with other test
    scripts (as in the Python test suite) (1.5a2).

  * SF patch #870807: allow users to specify integer option arguments
    in hexadecimal, octal, or binary with leading "0x", "0", or "0b"
    (1.5 final).

  * SF feature #1050184: add 'append_const' action (patch by
    Andrea 'fwyzard' Bocci) (1.5 final).

  * Keep going if importing gettext fails (so optparse can be used
    in the Python build process) (1.5 final).

Python 2.3 (29 July 2003)
-------------------------

(A couple of fixes were made in Optik in time for its inclusion in
Python 2.3 as optparse, but I never got around to making a corresponding
bug-fix release of Optik.)

  * Add __all__ to optik package and optparse module (fixes
    SF bug #728563).

  * Fix so the 'prog' attribute of OptionParser (which was
    surreptitiously added in 1.4.1, but undocumented, untested,
    and not working) actually works.

1.4.1 (20 Apr 2003)
-------------------

  * Changed to use the new textwrap module included with Python 2.3.
    Includes a copy of textwrap.py for use with older Python versions.

  * Set __all__ in each of the optik.* modules, to make life easier for
    optik/__init__.py.

  * Rewrote the test suite to use PyUnit, and added some new tests
    that revealed some long-hidden bugs.  Fixed those bugs.
    (Thanks to Johannes Gijsbers for doing all the work!)

  * For versions of Python with builtin True and False values (ie.
    Python 2.2.1 and later), make store_true/store_false use them.

  * Add forwards-compatibility 'optparse' module, so scripts can
    import from 'optparse' and work under base Python 2.3, or
    under older Pythons with Optik 1.4.1 or later installed.

+ p5-InlineX-C2XS

(wiz)

2010-02-04 09:54:44 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Initial import of p5-InlineX-C2XS, packaged for wip by Wen Heping.

InlineX::C2XS - create an XS file from an Inline C file.

The C file that InlineX::C2XS needs to find would contain
only the C code.

InlineX::C2XS looks for the file in ./src directory,
expecting that the filename will be the same as what
appears after the final '::' in the module name (with a
'.c' extension).ie if the module is calle My::Next::Mod
it looks for a file ./src/Mod.c, and creates a file
named Mod.xs. Also created, is the file 'INLINE.h' - but
only if that file is needed. The generated xs file (and
INLINE.h) will be written to the cwd unless a third argument
(specifying a valid directory) is provided to the c2xs()
function.

The created XS file, when packaged with the '.pm' file, an
appropriate 'Makefile.PL', and 'INLINE.h' (if it's needed),
can be used to build the module in the usual way - without
any dependence upon the Inline::C module

Note update of scmgit.

(minskim)

2010-02-03 23:26:17 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update scmgit to 1.6.6.1.

Changes:
* "git blame" did not work well when commit lacked the author name.
* "git branch -a name" wasn't diagnosed as an error.
* "git count-objects" did not handle packfiles that are bigger than 4G on
  platforms with 32-bit off_t.
* "git checkout -m other" while on a branch that does not have any commit
  segfaulted, instead of failing.
* "git fast-import" choked when fed a tag that do not point at a
  commit.
* "git grep" finding from work tree files could have fed garbage to
  the underlying regexec(3).
* "git grep -L" didn't show empty files (they should never match, and
  they should always appear in -L output as unmatching).
* "git rebase -i" did not abort cleanly if it failed to launch the editor.
* "git reset --hard" did not work correctly when GIT_WORK_TREE environment
  variable is used to point at the root of the true work tree.
* http-backend was not listed in the command list in the documentation.
* Building on FreeBSD (both 7 and 8) needs OLD_ICONV set in the Makefile
* "git checkout -m some-branch" while on an unborn branch crashed.

+ split up binding tables in inputbox and similar widgets to avoid
  conflict between cursor-key use for input-string versus navigation
  (report by slakmagik).
+ if strftime() is available, support --time-format option for timebox
  widget.
+ if strftime() is available, support --date-format option for calendar
  widget (request by Walter Harms).
+ build-fixes for linking to intl library in /usr/local
+ add --scrollbar option, use in most widgets to show a scrollbar on
  the right margin of the data.  That is cosmetic, does not respond to
  the mouse.
+ reuse functions from msgbox to allow prompt for yesno box to be
  scrolled in a too-small window.
+ correct mapping of button-codes with --nook option (report by Lebedev
  Vadim).
+ cleanup sample scripts using new utility scripts setup-* and report-*,
  and allow command-line parameters to be added, for ad hoc testing.
+ correct change to tailbox widget from 2009/02/22 using
  dlg_button_layout(), which broke that widget.
+ document some of the portability caveats.
+ modify gauge widget to service callbacks (prompted by patch and
  comments by Frank Sorenson).
+ modify editbox to allow its input buffer to be larger than MAX_LEN
  unless bounded by the --max-input option, and add limit-checks for
  the buffer (report by slakmagik).
+ improve manpage description of --checklist (report by Isaac Good).
+ several improvements to configure script macros:  CF_ADD_CFLAGS
  CF_CURSES_FUNCS CF_DISABLE_ECHO CF_GCC_ATTRIBUTES CF_MATH_LIB
  CF_POSIX_C_SOURCE CF_REMOVE_DEFINE CF_WITH_LIBTOOL CF_XOPEN_SOURCE
+ add is.po, lv.po, sw.po from
http://translationproject.org/latest/dialog/
+ update de.po, id.po, pl.po, pt_BR.po, vi.po from
http://translationproject.org/latest/dialog/

2009/02/22
+ do not display top-arrows for scrolling if they would overwrite the
  title (report by slakmagik)
+ consistently use dlg_button_layout() when autosizing widgets (report
  by slakmagik).
+ add "-" and "+" bindings to timebox widget.
+ add "-" and "+" bindings to calendar widget (OpenSolaris #6739031).
+ review/fix other widgets to ensure that they exit on error, e.g.,
  editbox.c
+ modify check in dlg_getc() to treat closure of either stdin or stdout
  as an error, rather than both.  This is more stringent than the check
  added in 2007/07/04.
+ modify dlg_result_key() to map curses ERR to dialog's error exit
  (adapted from patch by Domagoj Pensa).
+ updated several configure script macros:
  + consistently append, rather then prepend, to $CFLAGS
  + add cases for AIX 6, mint, and dragonfly to CF_XOPEN_SOURCE
  + use $PATH_SEPARATOR rather than $PATHSEP
  + improve CF_FIND_LINKAGE, use in checks for more libraries, e.g.,
    libutf8 and libiconv.
+ update da.po, ru.po from
http://translationproject.org/latest/dialog/
+ updated config.guess, config.sub

Updated sysutils/cdrtools to 2.01.01alpha74

(wiz)

2010-02-03 16:04:26 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 2.01.01alpha74:

NEW features of cdrtools-2.01.01a73:

Cdrecord:

- The *.inf file parser now supports a new tag "Track=" that
is intended to carry the absolute track number from the original disk.

Cdda2wav (Maintained/enhanced by J

- Cdda2wav now permits to use "max" for the endtrack number. This
allows to specify e.g. -t2+max for a list of tracks from track #2
to the last audio track on the disk.

- New option -cuefile allows to tell cdda2wav to create a CDRWIN CUE
file. This currently only works together with wither -tall, or with
-t0+max or -t1+max.

Note that due to a misconception in the CDRWIN CUE file definition,
it is impossible to create 100% correct CD-audio copy by 100%
following the CDRWIN CUE file definition and having separate audio
files for each track at the same time. For this reason, it is currently
impossible to create CDRWIN CUE files while using cdda2wav -B.

- Cdda2wav now only writes a binary *.cdtext file in case that this
file would contain more data than a header that tells that there
is no further content.

- Cdda2wav no longer removes the Index0 entry from a longer Index list
if Index0 is -1.

- Cdda2wav now automatically scans for hidden audio tracks. This is a
complex task as there are drives that do not allow to read the
hidden data before track 1.

- New option -no-hidden-track allows to prevent cdda2wav from scanning
for a hidden audio track.

- Cdda2wav now writes the new tag "Track=" into the *.inf files that
is intended to carry the absolute track number from the original disk.

- A shortcut for paraopts=sectors-per-track-1,retries=200 was introduced.
The name of the shortcut is "proof", so just use "paraopts=proof" for
selecting the most stringent paranoia mode.

- Cdda2wav now automatically selects paranoia mode in case that the
paraopts= option was used.

- Cdda2wav now again works in suid root mode on Solaris 11. It seems that
the development versions from Solaris 11 did change the behavior with
fine grained privileges in a way that was incompatible with the way
cdda2wav did try to handle both suid root and fine grained privileges.

Mkisofs (Maintained/enhanced by J

- The man page for mkisofs was enhanced in order to better mention
that mkisofs always writes ISO-9660 and that other file systems are
thus always added as a hybrid file system.

NEW features of cdrtools-2.01.01a74:

Cdrecord:

- Cdrecord now supports to copy CDs with hidden track if there are *.inf files
created by cdda2wav. In order to copy a CD with hidden Track with optimal
quality, call:

cdda2wav -vall -B -paranoia paraports=proof cddb=0
cdrecord -v -sao -useinfo -text *.wav

- cdwrite@lists.debian.org removed from man page
please use the official mailing lists for cdrecord that exist since 10 years:
http://developer.berlios.de/mail/?group_id=5

Cdda2wav (Maintained/enhanced by J

- A forgotten debug message from implementing support for hidden tracks
has been removed.

- Fixed a small bug that made cdda2wav with hidden track support not fully
compatible to earlier versions. In case that only one track is to be extracted,
this is again always track #1 regsrdless whether the CD has a hidden track.

- Fixed a bug with CDRWIN CUE file support. Cdda2wav used the tag "WAV" instead
of "WAVE" for the data type specifier in the FILE tag.

- cdwrite@lists.debian.org removed from man page
please use the official mailing lists for cdrecord that exist since 10 years:

Sigil v0.1.6 2009.12.06.
    - added a "Report An Issue" menu entry to the Help menu; opens a web browser and goes to the
    "ReportingIssues" wiki page on Sigil's website
    - fixed an issue with empty NavMap generation in the NCX if the file had no headings;
    the epub specification forbids empty NavMaps (issue #174)
    - fixed an issue with the document not being marked as modified in the GUI if the user only
    changed the document's metadata (issue #189)
    - fixed a rare bug with searching for a string that is at the very end of a document (issue #181)
    - new "Remove Formatting" WYSIWYG action (issue #56)
    - Sigil now preserves ALL HTML entity references (it used to convert most to Unicode equivalents);
    this change was necessary since soft hyphens were becoming "invisible" (issue #186)
    - implemented "blockquote" support through new WYSIWYG actions: "Indent Less" and
    "Indent More" (issue #41)
    - updating Qt fixed an issue with images wrapped in SVG tags not being shown (issue #91)
    - updated Qt from 4.5.2 to 4.6.0
    - fixed an issue with regex matching in Code View when such regexes referenced line
    endings with "\n" (issue #182)
    - PageUp and PageDown keys now work in Book View (issue #130)
    - fixed a crash invoked on switching views and searching in Book View when the caret
    element's parent has HTML comment children (issue #179)
    - "Replace All" is now treated as a single undo/redo operation *in Code View*
    - tentatively fixed a problem with bad TOC generation if the input file had multiple headings
    with the same ID (across XHTML files) (issue #177)
    - fixed a regression that was causing crashes when switching views

(obache)

2010-02-03 13:03:08 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update py-ZopeInterface to 3.5.3.

CHANGES
*******

==================
3.5.3 (2009-12-08)
==================

- Fix an edge case: make providedBy() work when a class has '__provides__' in
  its __slots__ (see http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.web.zope.devel/22490)

==================
3.5.2 (2009-07-01)
==================

- BaseAdapterRegistry.unregister, unsubscribe: Remove empty portions of
  the data structures when something is removed.  This avoids leaving
  references to global objects (interfaces) that may be slated for
  removal from the calling application.

==================
3.5.1 (2009-03-18)
==================

- verifyObject: use getattr instead of hasattr to test for object attributes
  in order to let exceptions other than AttributeError raised by properties
  propagate to the caller

- Add Sphinx-based documentation building to the package buildout
  configuration. Use the ``bin/docs`` command after buildout.

- Improve package description a bit. Unify changelog entries formatting.

- Change package's mailing list address to zope-dev at zope.org as
  zope3-dev at zope.org is now retired.

==================
3.5.0 (2008-10-26)
==================

- Fixed declaration of _zope_interface_coptimizations, it's not a top level
  package.

- Add a DocTestSuite for odd.py module, so their tests are run.

- Allow to bootstrap on Jython.

- Fix https://bugs.launchpad.net/zope3/3.3/+bug/98388: ISpecification
  was missing a declaration for __iro__.

- Added optional code optimizations support, which allows the building
  of C code optimizations to fail (Jython).

- Replaced `_flatten` with a non-recursive implementation, effectively making
  it 3x faster.

==================
3.4.1 (2007-10-02)
==================

- Fixed a setup bug that prevented installation from source on systems
  without setuptools.

==================
3.4.0 (2007-07-19)
==================

- Final release for 3.4.0.

====================
3.4.0b3 (2007-05-22)
====================

- Objects with picky custom comparison methods couldn't be added to
  component registries.  Now, when checking whether an object is
  already registered, identity comparison is used.

====================
3.3.0.1 (2007-01-03)
====================

- Made a reference to OverflowWarning, which disappeared in Python
  2.5, conditional.

(sno)

2010-02-03 11:23:19 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Updating editors/p5-Padre from 0.55 to 0.56

pkgsrc changes:
- Adjusting dependencies according to upstream META.yml
- Adjusting module type (for build)
- Using b3.mk from x11/p5-Wx to ensure correct BUILD_DEPENDS for Wx bindings

Upstream changes:
0.56 2010.02.01
    - Plugins may now add their GUI elements to the view menu (SEWI)
    - Padre now displays a dynamic to-do list generated from comments
      in your source code (CORION)
    - Landed new Padre::Startup module which is dramatically faster
      when loading files into an existing Padre via the single instance
      server, and finally provides a mechanism for allowing configuration
      to disable the startup splash image (ADAMK)
    - Changed a few configuration settings to create a more consistent
      naming pattern for them (ADAMK)
    - Audited dependencies and updated a variety of them (ADAMK)
    - Ctrl-Shift-W is now bound to "Close This Project" (ADAMK)
    - Added an option for traceing Padre subroutine calls to the
      developer plugin (SEWI)
    - Uses correct make from Config.pm for the run menu item -> Build and
      run tests (KTHAKORE)
    - Speedup and less false-shows for autocomplete (SEWI)
    - Speedup while changing tabs (use the correct project dir) (SEWI)
    - Simple refocus on document after command run (KTHAKORE)
    - Fixed ticket #822: main window could be off screen on start (BLAKEW)
    - padre-client allows you to use Padre for commit messages and other
      synchronous edit events (CORION)
    - WIN32, Converted the --desktop registry code to Win32::TieRegistry
      and removed hardcoded strawberry paths (AZAWAWI)
    - WIN32, padre.exe will run with the same UAC privileges as same as
      the invoker (AZAWAWI)
    - Disable debugger menu items when there is no document (AZAWAWI)
    - Fixed a Padre debugger crash when an unsaved document is debugged (AZAWAWI)
    - Fixed Padre no-document crash with Find Next/Find Previous functionality
      (AZAWAWI)
    - Make sure that windows context key shows the refactor menu
      items in the right-click pop-up menu (AZAWAWI)
    - Used Module::CoreList::is_deprecated to display deprecated CORE modules
      in help search title (AZAWAWI)
    - Padre::Util::Win32::ExecuteProcessAndWait doesn't automatically inherit
      the same Cwd as the parent process. Added support for explicit cwd
      parameter and make the syntax checker pass the cwd to it. Syntax checking
      of test scripts and such should now work as intended on Win32(ADAMK)
    - Audit uses of Padre::Util::Win32 to only load it via require. Added a
      TRACE warning to verify it never gets loaded on non-Win32 (ADAMK)
    - Tuned the locking for ->close_where, which should make a variety of
      functions like "Close This Project" and "Close Other Projects"
      noticably faster (ADAMK)
    - Changed func_foo config variables to feature_foo, in anticipation of
      of a future equivalent to the Mozilla "about:config" control (ADAMK)
    - Added feature_cursormemory to allow disabling of Padre's feature to
      remember the location in the file you were scrolled to (ADAMK)
    - Added a fast ascii shortcut to the very slow encode detector. Opening
      files all of a sudden gets much faster if you have ascii files (ADAMK)
    - Bumped ORLite to 1.38 to get faster ARRAY object support and
      Class::XSAccessor acceleration support. If they cause problems,
      these changes can be safely backed out. (ADAMK)
    - Fixed the mass-error-popups on mimetypes without help provider (SEWI)
    - During DB locks (which are the most likely place for things to make
      changes to the database) disable synchronous SQLite writes. This will
      reduce the time that Padre blocks, at the risk of config.db corruption
      if there is a hardware failure or operating system crash. (ADAMK)
    - Fixed ticket #837: padre.exe should be able to be placed in
      c:\strawberry\perl\site\bin (AZAWAWI)
    - Improved "Goto Line" dialog to be smarter with better validation/error
      messages (AZAWAWI)
    - Open Resource can now display Perl package names for matching resources
      (AZAWAWI)
    - Fixed #838: Author tests should all check RELEASE_TESTING and/or
      AUTOMATED_TESTING (RHEBUS, AZAWAWI)
    - Fixed Regex Editor dialog destruction bug where multiple ->Show and
      ->Destroy could lead to a Padre crash on WIN32 (AZAWAWI)
    - Project detection differentiates between four different subclasses
      of Perl build systems (three of those correctly) (ADAMK)
    - Function List has resource locking around it and properly triggers a
      refresh when we show it for an already open document (ADAMK)
    - "Goto Line" dialog now supports going to lines and positions (AZAWAWI)
    - Fixed perl to refactor action prefix for refactor menu for
      consistency (AZAWAWI)
    - Fixed ticket #841: Quick Menu Access should show the location of the
      menu item on the menu system (AZAWAWI)
