Updated databases/p5-Rose-DB-Object to 0.781

(sno)

2009-04-30 21:26:53 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

PkgSrc changes:
  - Updating package for p5 module Rose::DB::Object from 0.770 to 0.781
  - Setting license to gnu-gpl-v2
  - Adjusting dependencies

Upstream changes:
0.781 (04.19.2009) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Added an explicit SQL_BLOB bind_param() argument for blob columns
      in SQLite.  (Reported by clausi)
    * Added manager_iterator_method and support for manager_count_method
      and manager_delete_method to relevant Relationship classes.
      (Patch by Peter Karman)
    * Updated test suite to consider DBD::SQLite 1.19+ non-broken.

0.780 (03.04.2009) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Fixed a bug that caused the delete_relationships() Metadata method
      to fail in some circumstances.  (Reported by vti)
    * Fixed a few accessor/mutator mismatches in relationship methods.
      (Reported by Bharanee)

0.779 (02.26.2009) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Added missing documentation on one-to-many and many-to-many
      relationship "iterator" and "find" method type names.
    * Corrected an error message in Rose::DB::Object::MakeMethods::Generic
      (RT 43667)

0.778 (02.06.2009) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Added PostgreSQL's "ltree" query extensions to QueryBuilder.
      (Patch by Rick Apichairuk)
    * Improved the efficiency of the check-and-merge function used
      when related objects are added.  (Reported by Bryan Opfer)

0.777 (12.12.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Fixed a bug that caused foreign key proxy relationships to
      be clobbered if relationships were set after foreign_keys.
      (Reported by Peter Karman)

0.776 (12.09.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Fixed a bug that was preventing the use of new comparison
      operators with QueryBuilder.  (Reported by Derek Wueppelmann)
    * Added a strict_ops parameter and class method to the Manager
      to allow the policy to b changed per-call or per-class.
    * Auto-initialization under Oracle should no longer be confused
      by tables with the same names in different schemas. (Patch by
      Benjamin Hitz)
    * Removed the on-again, off-again restriction on aliasing primary
      key columns.  I think it's off for good this time.
    * Refined column alias policy to keep from appearing to override
      more granular column method name customization.
    * Overhauled related object mutator methods to better match the
      documentation and reduce unnecessary queries.
    * Fixed a bug that caused the init_with_tree() helper method to
      overwrite columns involved in relationship mapping in some
      circumstances.  (Reported by Todd Lyons)

0.775 (11.02.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * The insert_or_update(), load_or_insert(), and load_or_save() helper
      methods no longer throw an exception when called on an object with
      no uniquely identifying column(s).  (Suggested by Richard Jones)
    * Added detection of minimum JSON version (2.00) to test suite and
      the Helpers module.

0.774 (10.25.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Setting objects related through a one-to-many relationship
      now does more work to ensure success.  (Reported by vti and
      David Bourget)
    * Fixed an ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE test to work around a MySQL
      "strict mode" quirk (or, IMO, "bug") which causes it to complain
      about a situation that is only a concern if it decided to do an
      INSERT rather than an UPDATE.  (Reported by Richard Jones)
    * Fixed a regression in t/spot-check-10.t: adding objects to
      one-to-many-related lists failed in some circumstances.
    * Updated auto-initialization examples in the synopsis.

0.773 (10.02.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Added support for multiple add_on_save calls prior to save(),
      which is how everyone expected it to behave anyway, and how the
      documentation always seemed to imply that it did work.  Well,
      now it does.
    * Pre-saved objects now get their foreign key columns hooked up
      correctly when passed as arguments to add_on_save methods.
      (Reported by George Hartzell)
    * ...-to-many related object lists will now be re-fetched on
      demand after an add_on_save and a subsequent save().
      (Reported by George Hartzell)

0.7722 (09.29.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Fixed compatibility with older versions of ExtUtils::MakeMaker.

0.7721 (09.29.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Updated distribution metadata for ExtUtils::MakeMaker 6.44.
    * Added a column type mapping for MySQL's MEDIUMINT type.
      (Reported by Andreas Dewes)

0.772 (09.26.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Altered Rose::DB::Object::Cached to override insert() and
      update methods.  (Suggested by Kevin McGrath)
    * The update() method now marks updated objects as being in the
      database (see is_in_db() in Rose::DB::Object::Util)  (Suggested
      by Kevin McGrath)
    * The insert_or_update() and insert_or_update_on_duplicate_key()
      helper methods now call save() instead of insert() or update()
      (passing the appropriate flags to cause an insert or update) in
      order also save child objects.  (Suggested by Kevin McGrath)
    * The set_column_value_modified() function in Rose::DB::Object::Util
      now also clears any "db-ready" column value the object may be
      holding for that column.
    * Added a dirty_columns() helper method (Suggested by jdv79)

0.7713 (09.16.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * More test skipping fixes.

0.7712 (09.15.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

0.7711 (09.15.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Fixed typos in POD.
    * Improved test skipping conditions.
    * Clarified JSON module version requirements.

0.771 (09.12.2008) - John Siracusa <siracusa@gmail.com>

    * Traversal and recursive serialization helper method added.
    * Non-persistent columns feature added.
    * Made "where" an alias for the Manager's "query" parameter.
      (Requested by Ask Bj~A,rn Hansen)
    * Documented restrictions on the Manager's "select" parameter.
    * Fixed bug that prevented CURRENT_TIMESTAMP from being properly
      inlined in queries sent to SQLite.  (RT 37224)
    * Fixed a memory leak.  (Reported by Christopher Laco)
    * The "cluck" error mode now correctly calls cluck() rather than
      croak().  (Reported by Kevin McGrath)
    * Added support for Oracle date/time column keywords.
    * Cascaded delete now properly cascades to one-to-one related objects.

PkgSrc changes:
  - Updating package for p5 module CatalystX::CRUD from 0.39 to 0.43
  - Setting license to gnu-gpl-v2
  - Adjusting dependencies

Upstream changes:
0.40    16 April 2009
        * change base Controller to call can_read() rather than can_write() in edit().
          This is because the call to edit() does not actually write anything; it's just a GET
          for a form.

0.41    21 April 2009
        * remove Catalyst::Component::ACCEPT_CONTEXT as a dependency since it has not been
          updated for Catalyst 5.8.

0.42    27 April 2009
        * revert ACCEPT_CONTEXT changes; fixes pushed to new C::C::A_C on CPAN, and added no warnings
          using Class::C3::Adopt::NEXT (thanks to t0m)
        * change from 'use Class::C3' to 'use mro "c3"' with new dep on MRO::Compat
        * added some debugging in tests

0.43    29 April 2009
        * rid of ourselves of Class::Data::Inheritable because it clashes with Catalyst::Runtime 5.8.
          Notably, it caused a strange bug in Rose::DBx::Garden::Catalyst where the MyApp->config
          class hashref would get nuked after a call to Class::C3::initialize(). Yes. That fsked up.

2009-04-30 19:55:47 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to FriCAS 1.0.6

Notable changes (compared to 1.0.5 version) include:

- the axiom script is no longer installed (use fricas script instead)
- some undesirable simplification are no longer done by default,
  for example now asin(sin(3)) is left unevaluated
- support lambda expressions using '+->' syntax and nested functions
  in Spad
- better configure, support for Dragonfly BSD
- faster bootstrap, also parallel (this does not affect speed
  of release build)

Several bug fixes, in particular:

- fixed a regression introduced in 1.0.4 which caused equality
  for nested products to sometimes give wrong result
- corrected fixed output of floating point numbers,
- operations on differential operators like symmetric power work now
- fixed crashes related to coercing power series
- functions returning Void can be traced

Updated www/ap2-wsgi to 2.4

(gdt)

2009-04-29 23:14:59 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to mod_wsgi 2.4.  (Works with apache22 and trac.)

patch-aa was incorporated into a larger related change upstream:
  http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=107

Changes as described at:
  http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/wiki/ChangesInVersion0204

Bug Fixes

1. Compilation would fail on Windows due to daemon mode specific code
not being conditionally compiled out on that platform. This was a
problem introduced by changes in mod_wsgi 2.3.

2. Fix bug where wrong Apache memory pool used when processing
configuration directives at startup. This could later result in memory
corruption and may account for problems seen with 'fopen()'
errors. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=78

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=108

3. Fix bug where Python interpreter not being destroyed correctly in
Apache parent process on an Apache restart. This was resulting in slow
memory leak into Apache parent process on each restart. This
additional memory usage would then be inherited by all child processes
forked from Apache parent process.

Note that this change does not help for case where mod_python is also
being loaded into Apache as in that case mod_python is responsible for
intialising Python and in all available versions of mod_python it
still doesn't properly destroy the Python interpreter either and so
causes memory leaks which mod_wsgi cannot work around.

Also, this doesn't solve problems with the Python interpreter itself
leaking memory when destroyed and reinitialised. Such memory leaks in
Python seem to occur for some versions of Python on particular
platforms.

For further details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=99

4. Fix bug whereby POST requests where 100-continue was expected by
client would see request content actually truncated and not be
available to WSGI application if application running in daemon
mode. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=121

5. Fix bug where Apache optimisation related to keep alive connections
can kick in when using wsgi.file_wrapper with result that if amount of
data is between 255 and aproximately 8000 bytes, that a completely
empty response will result. This occurs because Apache isn't flushing
out the file data straight away but holding it over in case subsequent
request on connection arrives. By then the file object used with
wsgi.file_wrapper can have been closed and underlying file descriptor
will not longer be valid. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=132

6. Modify how daemon process shutdown request is detected such that no
need to block signals in request threads. Doing this caused problems
in processes which were run from daemon mode process and which needed
to be able to receive signals. New mechanism uses a internal pipe to
which signal handler writes a character, with main thread performing a
poll on pipe waiting for that character to know when to shutdown. For
additional details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=87

9. Fix bug where excessive transient memory usage could occur when
calling read() or readline() on wsgi.input with no argument. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=126

Note that calling read() with no argument is actually a violation of
WSGI specification and any application doing that is not a WSGI
compliant application.

10. Fix bug where daemon process would crash if User/Group directives
were not specified prior to WSGIDaemonProcess in Apache configuration
file. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=40

11. Fix bug whereby Python exception state wasn't being cleared
correctly when error occurred in loading target of
WSGIImportScript. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=117

Features Changed

1. No longer populate 'error-notes' field in Apache request object
notes table, with details of why WSGI script failed. This has been
removed as information can be seen in default Apache multilanguage
error documents. Because errors may list paths or user/group
information, could be seen as a security risk.  Features Added

1. Added 'mod_wsgi.version' to WSGI environment passed to WSGI
application. For details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=93

2. Added 'process_group' and 'application_group' attributes to
mod_wsgi module that is created within each Python interpreter
instance. This allows code executed outside of the context of a
request handler to know whether it is running in a daemon process
group and what it may be called. Similarly, can determine if running
in first interpreter or some other sub interpreter. For details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=27

3. Added closed and isatty attributes to Log object as well as close()
method. For wsgi.errors these aren't required, but log object also
used for stderr and stdout (when enabled) and code may assume these
methods may exist for stderr and stdout. The closed and isatty
attributes always yield false and close() will raise a run time error
indicating that log cannot be closed. For details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=82

4. Apache scoreboard cleaned up when daemon processes first
initialised to prevent any user code interfering with operation of
Apache. For details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=104

5. When running configure script, can now supply additional options
for CPPFLAGS, LDFLAGS and LDLIBS through environment variables. For
details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=107

6. Better checking done on response headers and an explicit error will
now be produce if name or value of response header contains an
embedded newline. This is done as by allowing embedded newline would
cause daemon mode to fail when handing response in Apache child
process. In embedded mode, could allow application to pass back
malformed response headers to client. For details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=81

7: Ensure that SYSLIBS linker options from Python configuration used
when linking mod_wsgi Apache module. This is now prooving necessary as
some Apache distributions are no longer linking system maths library
and Python requires it. To avoid problem simply link against mod_wsgi
Apache module and system libraries that Python needs. For details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=115

8: Reorder sys.path after having called site.addsitedir() in
WSGIPythonPath and python-path option for WSGIDaemonProcess. This
ensures that newly added directories get moved to front of sys.path
and that they take precedence over standard directories. This in part
avoids need to ensure --no-site-packages option used when creating
virtual environments, as shouldn't have an issue with standard
directories still overriding additions. For details see:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=112

9. Update USER, USERNAME and LOGNAME environment variables if set in
daemon process to be the actual user that the process runs as rather
than what may be inherited from Apache root process, which would
typically be 'root' or the user that executed 'sudo' to start Apache,
if they hadn't used '-H' option to 'sudo'. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=129

10. Build process now inserts what is believed to be the directory
where Python shared library is installed, into the library search path
before the Python config directory. This should negate the need to
ensure that Python shared library is also symlink into the config
directory next to the static library as linkers would normally expect
it. See:

    http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/issues/detail?id=136

(sno)

2009-04-29 22:34:52 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

PkgSrc changes:
  - Updating package for p5 module Catalyst::Runtime to 5.80002 from 5.7015
  - Updating dependencies
  - Setting license to gnu-gpl-v2

Upstream changes:
5.80002 2009-04-22 01:28:36
        - Fix CATALYST_DEBUG and MYAPP_DEBUG environment variables
          turning debuging on if defined, rather than if set.
          They now force debugging on or off, taking precedence over
          configuration in your application. (t0m)
          - Tests for this (t0m)
        - pass replace_constructor to the immutable call to ensure
          applications get a Moose constructor rather than a C::A one
        - Fix issues with restarting the application class due to C3 failures
          on perl 5.10 (t0m)
        - Work around issues in Moose with initialization order of multiple
          levels of non-Moose classes inheriting from a Moose class (t0m)
          - Test for this
        - Add backwards compatibility method for Catalyst::Log->body, which
          has been made private (t0m)
        - Fix so that calling $c->req->parameters(undef) does not flatten
          the request parameters with undef + test (t0m)
        - Fix so that width of table of unattached actions for debugging
          ::DispatchType::Chained varies according to your terminal width
          (Oleg Kostyuk)
        - Fix warning message about linearized @ISA in Catalyst::Component
          (Emanuele Zeppieri)
        - Require MX::MethodAttributes 0.06 to avoid issues with saying
          use base 'Catalyst::Controller'; use Moose; losing actions (t0m)
        - Fix all of t0m's typos in ::Upgrading and ::Delta (hobbs)

5.80001 2009-04-18 22:18
        - Don't inline the constructor for Catalyst::Log to avoid a
          warning on recent Moose versions.
        - Add delta documentation
        - Clean up recursion errors
        - Extra cross links in dispatch types POD (Ian Wells)
        - Test uri_with clears query params when they are set to undef
          (Ian Wells)
        - Complain about old Catalyst::Devel versions which generated
          ->setup(qw/-Debug... etc. as this is not recommended (t0m)

5.8000_07 2009-04-12 13:37
        - Add the Catalyst::Dispatcher->dispatch_type method (ash)
        - Throw an exception rather than loading an app if an action
          tries to chain to itself (t0m)
          - Tests for this
        - Change the $c->visit and $c->go methods to optionally take
          CaptureArgs, making them useful to call ActionChains with (t0m)
          - Tests for this (radek)
        - Fix _invoke_as_component method to find the proper action instance
          for dispatchable actions so that ->visit or ->going to ActionChains
          with qw/Class::Name method_name/ works correctly (t0m)
          - Tests for this (radek)
        - Added Catalyst::Test::ctx_request to be able to inspect
          the context object after a request is made (Jos Boumans)
        - debug() POD rewrite (jhannah)
        - Change the warning when you have conflicting components to
          present a list (t0m)
        - Move NEXT use and testing deprecated features out to its own
          test application so that the main TestApp isn't polluted with
          spurious warnings (t0m)
        - Add a warning for the old ::[MVC]:: style naming scheme (t0m)
          - Test for this (t0m)
        - Kill Class::C3::Adopt::NEXT warnings for the Catalyst:: namespace
          in production versions (t0m)

          the restarter process (t0m)
        - Non-naive implementation of making mutable on restart using
          B::Hooks::OP::Check::StashChange if installed (t0m)
          - Tests for this (t0m)
        - Naive implementation of making all components mutable in the
          forked restart watcher process so native Moose apps using
          immutable restart correctly. (t0m)
          - Tests for this (t0m)
        - Bump Moose dependency to 0.70 so that we avoid nasty surprises
          with is_class_loaded and perl 5.80 when you Moosify MyApp.pm (t0m)

        - Add $res->code as alias for $res->status (hdp)
        - Make Catalyst::ClassData compatible with the latest Class::MOP::Class
          changes. Also depend on the latest Class::MOP. (rafl)
        - Add $c->uri_for_action method. (hdp)
        - Don't stringify the meta method. Use its name instead. (rafl)
        - Use MooseX::MethodAttributes::Inheritable to contain action
          attributes. This means that attributes are now represented in the MOP,
          allowing method modifiers on actions to work as expected. (rafl)
        - Provide a reasonable API in Catalyst::Controller for working with
          and registering actions, allowing a controller sub-class to replace
          subroutine attributes for action declerations with an alternate
          syntax. (rafl/hdp)
        - Instantiate correct sub-class of Moose::Meta::Class for non-Moose
          components where Catalyst forces the creation of a metaclass instance.
          This is more correct, and avoids metaclass incompatibility in complex
          cases (t0m)
          - Tests for this (t0m)
        - Use of deprecated Catalyst::Base now warns. (t0m)
        - Add uri_with tests (gphat)

          dispatcher and call an action which detaches (for
          Catalyst::Plugin::Authorization::ACL) (t0m)

          but stopped as the 2nd parameter can be an options hash now (t0m)
        - Bump Moose dependency to fix make_immutable bug (t0m)
        - Use compile time extends in Catalyst::Controller (t0m)
        - Make Catalyst::Request::uploads attribute non-lazy, to fix

          - Test for this (t0m)
        - Fix assignment to Catalyst::Dispatcher's preload_dispatch_types and
          postload_dispatch_types attributes - assigning a list should later
          return a listref. Fixes Catalyst::Plugin::Server. (t0m)

        - Change streaming test to serve itself rather than 01use.t, making
          test sync for engines easier (t0m)
        - Refactor capturing of $app from Catalyst::Controller into
          Catalyst::Component::ApplicationAttribute for easier reuse in other
          components (Florian Ragwitz)

          attributes, and use if from ::Engine rather than deleting
          the key from the instance hash (t0m)
        - Use handles on tree attribute of Catalyst::Stats to replace
          trivial delegation methods (t0m)
        - Change the following direct hash accesses into attributes:
          Catalyst::Engine: _prepared_write
          Catalyst::Engine::CGI: _header_buf
          Catalyst::Engine::HTTP: options, _keepalive, _write_error

          (t0m)

          for example Catalyst::Plugin::SmartURI (t0m)
          - Test for this (caelum)
        - Compose the MooseX::Emulate::Class::Accessor::Fast role to
          Catalyst::Action, Catalyst::Request, and all other modules which
          inherit from Class::Accessor::Fast in 5.70.

5.7099_01 2008-06-25 22:36:00
        - Refactored component resolution (component(), models(), model(), et al). We now
          throw warnings for two reasons:
          1) model() or view() was called with no arguments, and two results are returned
            -- set default_(model|view), current_(model|view) or current_(model|view)_instance
            instead
          2) you call a component resolution method with a string, and it resorts to a regexp
            fallback wherein a result is returned -- if you really want to search, call the
            method with a regex as the argument
        - remove 0-length query string components so warnings aren't thrown (RT #36428)

          an undef value (RT #34782)
        - Added $c->go, to do an internal redispatch to another action, while retaining the
          contents of the stash

Import tex-hyperref-6.78q as print/tex-hyperref.

The hyperref package is used to handle cross-referencing commands in
LaTeX to produce hypertext links in the document.  The package
provides backends for the \special set defined for HyperTeX DVI
processors; for embedded pdfmark commands for processing by Acrobat
Distiller (dvips and Y&Y's dvipsone); for Y&Y's dviwindo; for PDF
control within pdfTeX and dvipdfm; for TeX4ht; and for VTeX's pdf and
HTML backends.  The package is distributed with the backref and
nameref packages, which make use of the facilities of hyperref.  The
package depends on the author's kvoptions and refcount packages.

Log Message:
fix some problems with interactive forms:
-if a choice field defines both an "export value" and a "name", use the
latter as "value" if selected (according to the PDF spec) -- makes
that I can fill in my company's travel expenses form correctly
(there is still an issue with captions of check boxes / radio
buttons which looks like a font problem)
-where iconv() is called to fill in a text field, use "UTF-8" and
"UTF-16BE" as encoding names rather than the less portable
"UTF8" and "UTF16BE" -- this makes it work on NetBSD

Import tex-babel-3.8l as print/tex-babel.

The package manages culturally-determined typographical (and other)
rules, and hyphenation patterns for a wide range of languages.  A
document may select a single language to be supported, or it may
select several, and the document may then switch from one language to
another in a variety of ways.

PkgSrc import of perl 5 module Test::Aggregate.  This module is a required
dependency for the update of Catalyst::Runtime (/www/p5-Catalyst-Runtime)
to 5.800.

A common problem with many test suites is that they can take a long time to
run. The longer they run, the less likely you are to run the tests. This
module borrows a trick from Apache::Registry to load up your tests at once,
create a separate package for each test and wraps each package in a method
named run_the_tests. This allows us to load perl only once and related
modules only once. If you have modules which are expensive to load, this can
dramatically speed up a test suite.

    * localize variables, array/hash values or deletions of elements in
      higher contexts with respectively "localize", "localize_elem" and

Import tex-rotating-2.16a as print/tex-rotating.

A package built on the standard LaTeX graphics package to perform all
the different sorts of rotation one might like, including complete
figures and tables with their captions.  If you want continuous text
(i.e., more than one page) set in landscape mode, use the lscape
package instead.  The rotating packages only deals in rotated boxes
(or floats, which are themselves boxes), and boxes always stay on one
page.  If you need to use the facilities of the float in the same
document, load rotating.sty via rotfloat, which smooths the path
between the rotating and float packages.

** Language:
- initialize and finalize script code, cf demos/initial_final.cocci

** Features:
- -iso_limit option to limit the depth of isomorphism application
- with the dir option, the include path is implicitly set to the "include"
  subdirectory of the specified directory, if the option -I is not used.
- give a seed for the name of a fresh identifier
- better handling of cpp "constructed" identifiers as in a##b, that in
  the futur will make it easier to match over those idents.
  cf tests/pb_parsing_macro.c. Thanks to Ali-Erdem Ozcan for pointing
  out the problem. A new "parsing hack hint" is also available:
  YACFE_IDENT_BUILDER, cf standard.h.

** Bugfix:
- drop excessive "optimization" in ctl generation for while and for loops
- allow . as the name of the directory
- for type inference for an assignment, take the type of the right-hand
  side expression, not the type of the assigned variable
- allow for with a declartion in the first header element, as in C++
  (partial support)
- allow for matching against variable declarations that include only
  storage, eg static, but no type at all.
- allow for matching against types that contain both short/long and int
- allow the type metavariable in the SmPL code "unsigned T" to match a T
  that is a type consisting of more than one word, eg long int.
- -ifdef_to_if option made to process nested ifdefs
  (partial support)

** Internals:
- improve and fix installation process (usable on BSD)
- improve and fix testing process
- apply patches from Eugeniy Meshcheryakov
- reorganize the way we parse C identifiers, especially concatenated cpp
  identifiers as in a##b. This may lead to some regressions as we may
  not parse as much code as before.
- removed popl/ and popl09/ and popl related stuff from official distrib.

### WORKAROUND
- fetchnews: If the LN_SUPPRESS_DATE environment variable is defined and set
  to any value or empty, fetchnews will not test the upstream server's time by
  means of the "DATE" NNTP command.
  This can be used to quench related log messages.

### BUGFIXES
- Fix logging if texpire unlinks files without further hardlinks from
  message.id/NNN/
- Fix potential segfault on libcs that do not catch NULL for %s formatting
  (several GNU libc versions do) when trying to retrieve delayed bodies from
  corrupt article headers. Pretend success, to purge article number from
  subscription file.  Bug reported by Chris Carr.
- Fix & change "noactive" so that it can be overridden by "fetchnews -f", as
  documented in config.example.
  Regression as side effect of 1.9.50 fix, reported by Jesse F. Hughes.
- Fix logged IP address in "connected to..., reply:" message when compiled
  without IPv6 support.
  Fixes Mandriva Bug #45605, reported by David W. Hodgins.
- Print connected to... to console as well at proper verbosity level, found
  by maintainer while debugging aforementioned bug.
- Only emit warning that no server with posting permission was found if that's
  actually needed. Reported by Christian Weiske.
- If corrupted articles had been detected, fetchnews -x NNN would not be able
  to re-fetch the said article because a 0-sized file remained in message.id,
  making fetchnews believe the article was in the spool.
  0-sized message.id/NNN/ files are now purged when checking if the article is
  already in the spool.
  Reported by Peter Bauernfeind. (de.comm.software.newsserver post, May 2008)
- Change interface enumeration to track incompatible NetBSD 5 changes.  The
  latter led to bogus connection refusals in NNTPD.  SourceForge Bug #2700756,
  by Aleksey Cheusov, fix suggested by Roy Marples.
- Add support for SIOCGIFALIAS where available (BSD) in order to obtain
  netmasks for 4.4BSD-style IP aliases.
  getifaddrs() has been suggested as well, but it isn't available everywhere,
  so we would have to keep the old code around anyways, and we can just fix
  that rather than introduce alternative code branches.

### BUGFIXES BACKPORTED FROM LEAFNODE 2
- lsort (used by make update) now detects and report errors.
- "make update" handles the lockfile properly now: it records its PID and
  removes the lock also in cases of failure.
- "make update" restores the old groupinfo file if lsort fails.
- "make update" now builds an up-to-date lsort first.
- "make update" now uses the configured NEWS_USER and _GROUP.
- "make update" is now a phony Makefile target, i. e. it will work even
  if there is a file "update" in the build directory.

### CHANGES
- When creating a Path: header (because the newsreader did not do that), use
  "not-for-mail" instead of NEWS_USER (usually "news") as the user component.
  This seems to resolve propagation issues with 2nd-hop-upstreams, as reported
  in Debian Bug#459980 by Michael Weitzel, with Universit
- When writing to client fails, log decoded errno, too.
  This can help debugging certain firewall misconfigurations more easily.
- Undoing a wordwrap in configure.ac allows for bootstrapping on Cygwin.
- Drop obsolete mysetvbuf().
- leafnode-version now supports an additional "-v" mode to print more
  information on the installation. The output then is similar, but not
  identical - due to different feature sets - to the way leafnode-2 prints it.

### DOCUMENTATION
- Add some comments to UNINSTALL-daemontools
- Put README-FQDN* under leafnode's license. Found to be in conflict with
  Debian's DFSG by Mark Brown.

### BUGFIXES
- .site TLDs are refused in FQDN.
- apply patch from Georg Schwarz to fix compilation with SGI IDO cc.
- do not delete articles if the References: lines are malformatted.
  Reported by Adam Funk.
- support autoconf 2.60, fixing datarootdir-related warnings.

### DOCUMENTATION
- fix minor typos in README-FQDN.
- minor changes to INSTALL.

==============================================================================
* 1.11.5, 2006-04-09

### BUGFIXES
- Fix logging of invalid FQDH/FQDN.
- Do not trash delaybody download markers if the interesting.group/* files
  are writeable by NEWS_USER ("news") but owned by somebody else. Found
  debugging a problem described by David Aldred.
- Some syslog messages were still logged at LOG_DEBUG priority without
  debugmode set.
- Support noactive = 0. Reported by Rafal Maj, Debian Bug #329760.
- Support nodesc = 0.
- Keep non-expiring groups (negative groupexpire date) in active file even if
  they have expired upstream. Sourceforge Bug #1230256, Thomas Zajic.
- INSTALL: leafnode needs a "news" group as well. Found by Julien Sansonnens.
- Allow unterminated lines in regular files. Found by Ivo Maintz.
- Applyfilter unfolds headers before matching, to match fetchnews behavior.
- Applyfilter no longer unconditionally removes messages without body
  if delaybody is off. The interesting.groups/group.name file might still
  have pointers so that fetchnews will download the bodies later.

### CHANGES
- "killed nnn (<mess@ge.id>), already fetched before" messages have been
  demoted to debug priority, to avoid syslog spamming with multiple upstream
  servers or after crashes.  Reported by Adam Funk.
- The RPM is now accompanied by a -debuginfo package.
- Build "grouplist" program in "make check".
- The fetchnews manual page states that -f is not to be used in cron jobs.
- The filtering documentation (applyfilter(8) man page and filters.example)
  was overhauled, at the suggestion of Michael R. McCarrey.
  Mike also courteously provided additional filter examples with documentation.

### WEBSITE
- http://www.leafnode.org/ is now served by SourceForge's VHOST service and
  thus serves the same content as http://leafnode.sourceforge.net/

==============================================================================
* 1.11.4, 2005-11-23

### BUGFIXES
- Skip server processing when posting articles fails, for instance,
  because of a protocol error or server disconnect/timeout.
  Bug found when analyzing Debian #318644.
- Do not mark the active for refetch when the failed server has "noread" set
  or fetchnews is in -P (post only) mode. Patch by Brian Sammon.

### COMPATIBILITY CHANGE
- GNU coreutils 5.92 are broken and can no longer create a missing directory
  with "mkdir -p missing/." Work around the bug. Reported by Michael Shigorin.

### DOCUMENTATION
- Switch FAQ.pdf formatting back to XSL stylesheets and RenderX XEP 4.4,
  now that a personal license for OpenSource documentation is available.
- Renamed all CAN-YYYY-NNNN to CVE-YYYY-NNNN in leafnode-SA-*.txt, ChangeLog,

Import tex-marvosym-2.1 as fonts/tex-marvosym.

Martin Vogel's Symbol (marvosym) font contains the Euro currency
symbol as defined by the European commission, and also in shapes to
blend with typefaces Times, Helvetica and Courier; symbols for
structural engineering; symbols for steel cross- sections; astronomy
signs (sun, moon, planets); the 12 signs of the zodiac; scissor
symbols; CE sign and others.  The font is distributed here as an Adobe
Type 1 font, which was converted from Vogel's original TrueType;
support macros for use with LaTeX are also provided.  Separate
packaging for OzTeX users is available.

Rewrite csh scripts in sh, by request of agc. Closes PR 37581.

While here, clean up a lot of pkglint; it appears that the manual
substitutions in the makefile got rolled into several of the patches
at some point. Various problems remain (e.g. the build system runs
/usr/bin/make explicitly in a number of places; plus the manual
substitutions should be tidied away) but this should cover the most
serious ones.

Add and enable netpgp

(agc)

2009-04-29 04:54:34 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Initial import of the "glorious 50" release of netpgp-20090428 into the
Packages Collection.

The netpgp command can digitally sign files and verify that the
signatures attached to files were signed by a given user identifier.
netpgp can also encrypt files using the public or private keys of
users and, in the same manner, decrypt files which were encrypted.

The netpgp utility can also be used to generate a new key-pair for a
user.  This key is in two parts, the public key (which can be used by
other people) and a private key.

In addition to these primary uses, the third way of using netpgp is to
maintain keyrings.  Keyrings are collections of public keys belonging
to other users.  By using other means of identification, it is
possible to establish the bona fides of other users.  Once trust has
been established, the public key of the other user will be signed.
The other user's public key can be added to our keyring.  The other
user will add our public key to their keyring.

This software is built on top of openpgpsdk 0.9.1, but provides a
higher-level interface, is autoconf-ed and libtool-ed, and has had
some significant bugs fixed.
