urlgrabber is a pure python package that drastically simplifies

It is extremely simple to drop into an existing program and provides
a clean interface to protocol-independant file-access. Best of all,
urlgrabber takes care of all those pesky file-fetching details,
and lets you focus on whatever it is that your program is written
to do!

Import gate88-20050319 as games/gate88.

Gate 88 is often described as "like subspace but with the ability
to build turrets and command fighters." While a skillful pilot can
decimate the enemy in one-on-one combat, a thoughtful player can
overwhelm the opponent with strategic turret and fighter placements.
However, only those who truly understand the intricate details of
both action and strategy will win the day.

Because alliances can be broken on a whim, players must interpret
the social situation of the game to ensure that each alliance is
sincere. For example, it is not uncommon for an allied player to
plant turrets and fighters within your base only to break the
alliance and watch your empire crumble from within. Always be
careful with your trust.

Gate 88 employs a unique user interface that allows players to
pilot their ship while performing strategic operations. The tutorial
and practice mode will get you up to speed.

(tonnerre)

2008-03-13 00:31:12 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Updated databases/p5-DBD-postgresql 1.49 -> 2.2.2

2.2.2
- Add parse_trace_flag as statement handle method.

2.2.1
- Fixed memory leaks in dbdimp.c
- Fixed strlen problems in dbdimp.c
- Change local trace_flags to lowercase.

2.1.0
- Add PERL_NO_GET_CONTEXT #define to improve performance on threaded Perls
- Raise the minimum DBI version to 1.52.
- Allow arrayrefs into bind_col

2.0.0
- Make minimum supported server 7.4.
- Overhaul COPY functions: deprecate pg_getline, pg_putline,
and pg_endcopy. The new functions are pg_getcopydata,
pg_getcopydata_async, pg_putcopydata, and pg_putcopyend.
- Add support for arrays: can pass in arrayrefs to execute, and
they are automatically returned as arrays when fetching.
- Add support for asynchronous queries.
- Allow raw transaction statements through - in other words,
do not croak if $dbh->prepare("COMMIT") is attempted.
- Check transaction status after each command, to allow
things such as 'PREPARE TRANSACTION' to work properly.
- Add $dbh->{pg_placeholder_dollaronly} to allow '?' and other symbols
to be used in prepared statements without getting interpreted as
placeholders, i.e. the geometric operator '?#'
- Fix memory leak in bytea quoting.
- Fix memory leak in pg_notifies.
- Fix memory leak when using savepoints.
- Use adbin, not adsrc, when figuring out the sequence name for the
last_insert_id() method. This allows the function to work properly
if the sequence name is changed. Note that {pg_cache=>0} should be
passed to the function if you expect this might happen.
- Use unsigned chars when parsing passed-in queries, preventing UTF-8
strings from ruining the prepare. UTF-16 may still cause problems.
- Fix crash when executing query with two placeholders side by side.
- Skip item if no matching key in foreign_key_info.
- Fix bug in last_insert_id.
- Fix pg_description join in table_info().
- Make sure arrays handle UTF-8 smoothly.
- Force column names to respect utf8-ness.
- Make sure array items are marked as UTF as needed.
- Force SQL_REAL and SQL_NUMERIC to be float8 not float4.
- Allow objects with stringification overloading to work with quote().
- Switch from pow to powf to support AIX compiler issue.
- Add three new columns to column_info, to return unquoted
version: pg_schema, pg_table, and pg_columns. Add all
three to primary_key_info, and the first two to table_info.
- Change $dbh->{User} to $dbh->{Username}
- Change $dbh->{Name} to return the entire DSN string, minus the
'dbi:Pg:' part.
- Allow data_sources to accept optional arguments.
- Add private_attribute_info() method.
- Add SQL_INTERVAL and others to types.c
- Added statistics_info function
- Be much more flexible in test connection options.
- Overhaul test suite, allow tests to be run individually.
- Quick support for named trace level 'SQL'
- Very experimental support for bind_param_inout, use with caution.

3.0.8 is a stable release which includes many significant enhancements and

Goggles DVD Player is a frontend for the Ogle DVD player. Besides the

"general" media players cannot provide. Goggles extends these
capabilities with a very user-friendly interface.

Standard completion

bash has offered many forms of completion since its inception,
including path, file, user, host and variable completion.

    * Path-name completion
    * File-name completion
    * User-name completion
    * Host-name completion
    * Variable-name completion

Programmable completion indefinitely extends the type of completion
you can perform.

conceptual-semantic and lexical relations. The resulting network
of meaningfully related words and concepts can be navigated with
the browser. WordNet is also freely and publicly available for
download. WordNet's structure makes it a useful tool for computational
linguistics and natural language processing.

+ Improve the documentation in the header of the rubygem.mk file.

+ Add a build dependency on rake, which is used to build a new gem
  file.  Define RAKE to be the path to the installed rake binary.

+ Add "ruby" as a package category by default.

+ Define MASTER_SITES to a default value pointing to the main remote gem
  repository: http://gems.rubyforge.net/gems/.

+ Add a "do-gem-extract" target that extracts the files from the downloaded
  gem and into ${WRKSRC}.  This allows us to patch or otherwise manipulate
  the files that are part of the gem that is to be installed.

+ Add a "do-gem-build" target that builds a new local gem from the
  contents of ${WRKSRC} using the provided Rakefile.  This local gem
  which contains all pkgsrc modifications will be the one installed
  on the system.

+ Modify "do-gem-install" target to install from the new local gem

+ Rename GEMS_BASEDIR to GEM_HOME, which is the actual rubygems variable

+ Rename some variables to be more in line with other ruby variable
  names:

GEM_LIB_DIR => GEM_LIBDIR
GEM_DOC_DIR => GEM_DOCDIR

+ Set RUBYGEM_PKGPREFIX to ${RUBY_PKGPREFIX}-gem for now.  We know

Update sudo package to 1.6.9p14.

pkgsrc changes:

  specified.  PR pkg/37999 should be fixed.

Change:

646) Sudo will now set the nproc resource limit to unlimited on Linux
    systems to work around Linux's setuid() resource limit semantics.
    On PAM systems the resource limits will be reset by pam_limits.so
    before the command is executed.

647) SELinux support that can be used to implement role based access
    control (RBAC).  A role and (optional) type may be specified
    in sudoers or on the command line.  These are then used in the
    security context that the command is run as.

648) Fixed a Kerberos 5 compilation problem with MIT Kerberos.

Sudo 1.6.9p13 released.

649) Fixed an invalid assumption in the PAM conversation function
    introduced in version 1.6.9p9.  The conversation function may
    be called for non-password reading purposes as well.

650) Fixed freeing an uninitialized pointer in -l mode, introduced in
    version 1.6.9p13.

651) Check /etc/sudoers after LDAP even if the user was found in LDAP.
    This allows Defaults options in /etc/sudoers to take effect.

652) Add missing checks for enforcing mode in SELinux RBAC mode.

MIPSPro doesn't like code such as:

void foo(void) {}
void bar(void) { return foo(); }

Stripping away the return makes it happy. PR pkg/38210.

Replace "pkg_admin -S lsbest" usage with pkg_info -E. The base stripping
in bsd.buildlink3.mk was broken with pkg_install-20080309 was it
returned a relative path. It would have failed before e.g. with symbolic
links in the path. pkg_info -E is simpler and was added exactly for this
purpose. Fixes PR 38213 and PR 38211.

- Compiles with xulrunner 1.9, but a lot of functionality is disabled due
  to being no longer exposed by xulrunner (or not working)
  - MyPortal
  - User stylesheets
  - Remembering passwords
  - http authentication
- Support for external mailers which don't understand mailto: urls is
  completely removed. Pretty much all modern mailers support them now.
