Update to 1.4.20:

Overview

Just one tiny change to fix a regression causing threads to lock
up and spin max CPU.

1.4.18 and 1.4.19 were affected. 1.4.17 and earlier were not
affected. If you are on .18 or .19 an upgrade to 1.4.20 is strongly
advised.

Thanks to commando.io for reporting the bug initially and putting
up with me being blind for a few weeks.

Fixes

Fix a race condition causing new connections to appear closed,
causing an inifinte loop.

Updated x11/libXfont to 1.4.8

(wiz)

2014-05-16 08:36:21 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.4.8.

This release is overflowing with security fixes and code cleanups,
including the fixes for CVE-2014-0209, CVE-2014-0210, & CVE-2014-0211
for the security advisory published earlier this week:
    http://lists.x.org/archives/xorg-announce/2014-May/002431.html

This release works with fontsproto 2.1.2 or earlier and is for use with
the existing stable releases of xorg-server - 1.15 & earlier.

libXfont 1.5 will be released later this year to support fontsproto 2.1.3
and xorg-server 1.16.  It will also change the compile time defaults to stop
building SNF font format support by default, taking the next step in the
deprecation of this file format that was used prior to X11R5, and has been
on the way out since 1991.  In the unlikely event that you still need to
support old SNF format fonts, get in the habit of adding --enable-snfformat
to your configure flags when building.

Do not look for matches in Makefile comments (noted by adam).
Strip trailing slashes on package names.
The reason for this is that the package's own buildlink3.mk file usually
matches category/package, but not category/package/ (because the only
match is "BUILDLINK_PKGSRCDIR.foo").

Bump version.

Updated security/p5-IO-Socket-SSL to 1.985

(wiz)

2014-05-15 10:01:43 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.985:

1.985 2014/05/15
- make OCSP callback return 1 even if it was called on the server side
because of bad setup of the socket. Otherwise we get an endless calling
  of the OCSP callback.
- consider an OCSP response which is not yet or no longer valid a soft error
  instead of an hard error
- fix skip in t/external/ocsp.t in case fingerprint does not match
- RT#95633 call EVP_PKEY_free not EVP_KEY_free in
  IO::Socket::SSL::Utils::KEY_free. Thanks to paul[AT]city-fan[DOT]org
- util/analyze.pl - with --show-chain check if chain with SNI is different
  from chain w/o SNI.
1.984 2014/05/10
- added OCSP support:
  - needs Net::SSLeay >=1.59
  - for usage see documentation of IO::Socket::SSL (examples and anything with
    OCSP in the name)
- new tool util/analyze-ssl.pl which is intended to help in debugging of SSL
problems and to get information about capabilities of server. Works also
as en example of how to use various features (like OCSP, SNI..)
- fix peer_certificates (returns leaf certificate only once on client side)
- added timeout for stop_SSL (either with Timeout or with the default
  timeout for IO::Socket)
- fix IO::Socket::SSL::Utils mapping between ASN1_TIME and time_t when local
time is not GMT. Use Net::SSLeay::ASN1_TIME_timet if available.
- fix t/external/usable_ca.t for system with junk in CA files
1.983 2014/05/03
- fix public suffix handling: ajax.googleapis.com should be ok even if googleapis.com
is in public suffix list (e.g. check one level less)
  #95317, thanks to purification[AT]ukr[DOT]net
- usable_ca.t - update fingerprints after heartbleed attack
- usable_ca.t - make sure we have usable CA for tested hosts in CA store
1.982 2014/04/24
- fix for using subroutine as argument to set_args_filter_hack
1.981 2014/04/08
- #95432 fix ecdhe Test for openssl1.0.1d, thanks to  paul[AT]city-fan[DOT]org
- fix detection of openssl1.0.1d (detected 1.0.1e instead)
- new function can_ecdh in IO::Socket::SSL
1.980 2014/04/08
- fixed incorrect calculation of certificate fingerprint in get_fingerprint*
and comparison in SSL_fingerprint. Thanks to
  david[DT]palmer[AT]gradwell[DOT]com for reporting.
- disable elliptic curve support for openssl 1.0.1d on 64bit because of
  openssl rt#2975
1.979 2014/04/06
- hostname checking:
  - configuration of 'leftmost' is renamed to 'full_label', but the old
version is kept for compatibility reasons.
  - documentation of predefined schemes fixed to match reality
1.978 2014/04/04
- RT#94424 again, fix test on older openssl version with no SNI support
1.977 2014/04/04
- fix publicsuffix for IDNA, more tests with various IDNA libs
  RT#94424. Thanks to paul[AT]city-fan[DOT]org
- reuse result of IDN lib detection from PublicSuffix.pm in SSL.pm
- add more checks to external/usable_ca.t. Now it is enough that at least
one of the hosts verifies against the builtin CA store
- add openssl and Net::SSleay version to diagnostics in load test
1.976 2014/04/03
- added public prefix checking to verification of wildcard certificates,
  e.g. accept *.foo.com but not *.co.uk.
  See documentation of SSL_verifycn_publicsuffix and
  IO::Socket::SSL::PublicSuffix
Thanks to noloader for pointing out the problem.
1.975 2014/04/02
- BEHAVIOR CHANGE: work around TEA misfeature on OS X builtin openssl, e.g.
guarantee that only the explicitly given CA or the openssl default CA will
be used. This means that certificates inside the OS X keyring will no
longer be used, because there is no way to control the use by openssl
  (e.g. certificate pinning etc)
- make external tests run by default to make sure default CA works on all
platforms, it skips automatically on network problems like timeouts or ssl
interception, can also use http(s)_proxy environment variables
1.974 2014/04/02
- new function peer_certificates to get the whole certificate chain, needs
  Net::SSLeay>=1.58
- extended IO::Socket::Utils::CERT_asHash to provide way more information,
like issuer information, cert and pubkey digests, all extensions, CRL
  distributions points and OCSP uri
1.973 2014/03/25
- with SSL_ca certificate handles can now be used additionally to
  SSL_ca_file and SSL_ca_path
- do not complain longer if SSL_ca_file and SSL_ca_path are both given,
instead add both as options to the CA store
- Shortcut 'issuer' to give both issuer_cert and issuer_key in CERT_create.
1.972 2014/03/23
- make sure t/external/usable_ca.t works also with older openssl without
support for SNI. RT#94117. Thanks to paul[AT]city-fan[DOT]org
1.971 2014/03/22
- try to use SSL_hostname for hostname verification if no SSL_verifycn_name
is given. This way hostname for SNI and verification can be specified in
  one step.
- new test program example/simulate_proxy.pl
1.970 2014/03/19
- fix rt#93987 by making sure sub default_ca does use a local $_ and not a
version of an outer scope which might be read-only.  Thanks to gshank
1.969 2014/03/13
- fix set_defaults to match documentation regarding short names
- new function set_args_filter_hack to make it possible to override bad SSL
settings from other code at the last moment.
- determine default_ca on module load (and not on first use in each thread)
- don't try default hostname verification if verify_mode 0
- fix hostname verification when reusing context
1.968 2014/03/13
- BEHAVIOR CHANGE: removed implicit defaults of certs/server-{cert,key}.pem
  for SSL_{cert,key}_file and ca/,certs/my-ca.pem for SSL_ca_file.
These defaults were depreceated since 1.951 (2013/7/3).
- Usable CA verification path on Windows etc:
Do not use Net::SSLeay::CTX_set_default_verify_paths any longer to set
system/build dependended default verification path, because there was no
way to retrieve these default values and check if they contained usable
CA. Instead re-implement the same algorithm and export the results with
public function default_ca() and make it possible to overwrite it.
Also check for usable verification path during build.
If no usable path are detected require Mozilla::CA at build and try to
  use it at runtime.

Changes calloc to Newx and free to Safefree, otherwise there might be
problems because calloc is done from a different memory pool than free (depends
on the build options for perl, but seen on Windows). Patch from Steffen
    Ullrich. Thanks.

1.60 2014-05-10
Fixed a typo in an error message. Patch from gregor herrmann. Thanks.
Fixed a problem with building with openssl that does not support
OCSP. Also fixed some newly introduced warnings
if compiled with -Wall. Patch from Steffen Ullrich. Thanks.
fix build-failure on most Debian architectures:
    SSLeay.xs: In function 'XS_Net__SSLeay_OCSP_response_results':
SSLeay.xs:5602:3: error: format not a string literal and no format
    arguments. Patch from  gregor herrmann.

1.59 2014-05-10
Fixed local/30_error.t, so that tests do not fail if diagnostics are
    enabled.
Fixed error messages about undefined strings used with length or
split. Reported and patched by Peter Heuchert.
Improvements to configuration of OPTIMIZE flags, to prevent overriding
of perls expected optimization flags. Caution: HPUX aCC optimize options are special.
SSL_peek() now returns openssl error code as second item when called in
array context, same as SSL_read. Patch from Andreas Mohr.
    Fixed some warnings.
Added support for tlsv1.1 tlsv1.2 via $Net::SSLeay::ssl_version. Patch

Improve examples in 'Using other perl modules based on
    Net::SSLeay'. Patched by Andreas Mohr.
Added support for OCSP. Patched by Steffen Ullrich. Thanks!

      correct behavior for https_proxy,
e.g. don't send plain https:// requests to proxy, but instead establish
CONNECT tunnel and then send requests inside tunnel.
This change does together with a change in LWP::Protocol::https.
The change supports LWP::Protocol::https with the default
IO::Socket::SSL backend, but also with Net::SSL. Also:
      - proxy authorization is supported (http://user:pass@host:port as proxy
URL, Net::SSL still needs special HTTPS_PROXY_* environemt variables,
        as before)
      - CONNECT request does not need to be the first request inside the
        tunnel (not with Net::SSL)
      - conn_cache is read and written inside request(), instead of writing in
request() and reading in _new_socket(). If a https tunnel is
established the cache_key no longer depends only on proxy host, port
but also on the tunnel endpoint
      - CONNECT is a proxy request and must always use Proxy-Authorization,
        not Authorization header

turugina (1):
fix: auth-header of Digest auth did not conform to
RFC 2617 when WWW-Authenticate has 'qop' parameter.

Gisle Aas (1):
SSL libs might trigger ENOTTY on read

- conf/makeinc now knows that a compiler name may not follow
the "cc*" text rule. This helps to support "clang".

- conf/cc-config.sh has been enhanced to detect whether
"cc" or "gcc" are emulated via "clang".

- New files in TEMPLATES/ related to "clang"

- TEMPLATES/ now includes config files for gcc32 and gcc64

- TEMPLATES/ now includes config files for clang, clang32 and clang64

- Add comment to DEFAULTS_CSW/sparc-cc.defs

- config.guess now understands Mac OS X on 64 bit Intel

Libschily:

- libschily/format.c fixed to compile again with K&R C that does
not support "long double".

- No longer use fgets() for fgetaline(), fgetline() and fgetstr()
as fgets() cannot deal with embedded '\0' chars before the '\n'.

- libschily/fstream.c now supports local flags (for the caller)
and pushable streams to keep blocks of pushed text atomically.

- libschily/fchmodat.c was added, it has been forgotten when
the emulations for the *at() functions have been introduced.
It is needed for the new enhanced isoinfo command.

- libschily/mknodat.c now correctly provides a mknodat() function even
when there is no mknod() command.

- libschily/futimens.c now is more Sun specific when trying to implement
futimens() via utimensat(), as only Solaris supports a f*() interface
in case that the path name is a NULL pointer.

Mkisofs (Maintained/enhanced by Jļæ½rg Schilling since 1997, originated by Eric Youngdale):

WARNING: the new version of the isoinfo program makes use of the
*at() series of functions that have been introduced by Sun
in August 2001 and added to POSIX.1-2008. For older platforms,
libschily now includes emulations for these functions but
these emulations have not yet been tested thouroughly.
Please report problems!

- The man page isoinfo.8 was enhanced by mentioning the option -s (print
file sizes in multiple if 2048 byte sectors) and by documenting the
list format that us used with -l.

- isoinfo now evaluates the Rock Ridge "PN" signature and thus supports
to display and use the major/minor device numbers.

- isoinfo now extracts time stamps with sub second granularity in
order to be able to set fine grained file timestamps, see -X option
below.

- isoinfo now knows how to find out whether a ISO-9660 filesystem was
created by a newer mkisofs and thus includes useful inode numbers
in ISO-9660. These ISO-9660 based inode numbers are used in case that
there is no Rock Ridge-1.12 that includes inode numbers in the "PX"
signature.

- isoinfo now has a new option -X that extracts alls files (in case that
-find is not used) or files secected by a -find expression. Note that
-find expressions may include -chown, -chgrp and -chmod to modify the
meta data of files.

Updated devel/apache-ant to 1.9.4

(wiz)

2014-05-07 18:23:31 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.9.4. Add comment to patch.

Changes from Ant 1.9.3 TO Ant 1.9.4
===================================

Changes that could break older environments:
-------------------------------------------

* the prefixValues attribute of <property> didn't work as expected
when set to false (the default).
It is quite likely existing build files relied on the wrong
behavior and expect Ant to resolve the value side against the
properties defined in the property file itself - these build files
must now explicitly set the prefixValues attribute to true.
  Bugzilla Report 54769

* when matching an entry of a zip/tarfileset against a pattern a
leading slash will be stripped from the entry name.  Most archives
don't contain paths with leading slashes anyway.
This may cause include/exclude patterns that start with a / to stop
matching anything.  Such patterns only used to work by accident and
only on platforms with multiple file system roots.
  Bugzilla Report 53949

* DirectoryScanner and thus fileset/dirset will now silently drop all
filesystem objects that are neither files nor directories according
to java.io.File.  This prevents Ant from reading named pipes which
might lead to blocking or other undefined behavior.
  Bugzilla Report 56149

* BuildFileTest and BaseSelectorTest have both been deprecated in
favour of BuildFileRule and BaseSelectorRule respectively, and the
tests that previously extended these base tests have been converted to
JUnit 4 tests using the new "rule"s. Any external test that sub-classed
a test in the Ant workspace, rather than BuildFileTest, will need
changed to either use JUnit4's annotations, or be modified to
extend BuildFileTest directly. This will not affect any tests that are
being executed by Ant's junit or batchtest tasks that are not specifically
  testing Ant's code.

Fixed bugs:
-----------

* <import>/<include> failed when the importing file was loaded from an
URI or a jar and it imported a file from the local file system via
  an absolute path.
  Bugzilla Report 50953

* <import> could import the same resource twice when imported via
  different resource types.
  Bugzilla Report 55097

* several calls to File#mkdirs could fall victim to a race condition
where another thread already created the same directory.
  Bugzilla Report 55290

* <manifestclasspath> created '/' rather than './' for the parent
  directory of the given jarfile.
  Bugzilla Report 55049

* <concat>'s fixlastline="true" didn't work when using certain filter
  readers.
  Bugzilla Report 54672

* several places where resources are read from jars will now
explicitly disable caching to avoid problems with reloading jars.
  Bugzilla Report 54473

* AntClassloader will now ignore files that are part of the classpath
but not zip files when scanning for resources.  It used to throw an
  exception.
  Bugzilla Report 53964

* <javadoc> caused a NullPointerException when no destdir was set.
  Bugzilla Report 55949

* <jar filesetmanifest="mergewithoutmain"> would still include the
Main section of the fileset manifests if there was no nested
  manifest or manifest attribute.
  Bugzilla Report 54171

* reading of compiler args has become more defensive
  Bugzilla Report 53754

* <copy> without force="true" would not only fail to overwrite a
read-only file as expected but also remove the existing file.
  Bugzilla Report 53095

* <delete removeNotFollowedSymlinks="true"> would remove symbolic
links to not-included files.  It will still delete symlinks to
directories that would have been followed even if they are not
explicitly included.  exclude-Patterns can still be used to
  preserve symbolic links.
  Bugzilla Report 53959

* Sometimes copy-operations using NIO FileChannels fail.  Ant will
now try to use a Stream based copy operation as fallback when the
  Channel based copy fails.
  Bugzilla Reports 53102 and 54397

* Javadoc.postProcessGeneratedJavadocs() fails for Classes that
  extend Javadoc
  Bugzilla Report 56047

* TarInputStream will now read archives created by tar
implementations that encode big numbers by not adding a trailing
  NUL.

* the isExists() method of URLResource returned false positives for
  HTTP and FTP URLs.

Other changes:
--------------

* initial support for Java 1.9

* <sshexec> can optionally pass System.in to the remote process
  Bugzilla Report 55393

* <sshexec> now supports capturing error output of the executed
process and setting a property from the return code.
  Bugzilla Report 48478

* <javadoc> now has an option to fail if javadoc issues warnings.
  Bugzilla Report 55015

* <sql> has a new outputencoding attribute.
  Bugzilla Report 39541

* changes to JUnitTestRunner and PlainJUnitResultFormatter to make
  OutOfMemoryErrors less likely.
  Bugzilla Report 45536

* changes to DOMElementWriter to make OutOfMemoryErrors less likely.
  Bugzilla Report 54147

* <redirector> has a new attribute binaryOutput that prevents Ant
from splitting the output into lines.  This prevents binary output
from being corrupted but may lead to error and normal output being
  mixed up.
  Bugzilla Report 55667
  Bugzilla Report 56156

* the nested <message> elements of <mail> now have an optional
inputEncoding attribute that can be used to specify the encoding of
files read that don't use the platform's default encoding.
  Bugzilla Report 56258

* The <get> task now explicitly accepts and supports the gzip content encoding.
  Bugzilla Report 49453

* A new resourcecollection type <multirootfileset> acts like a union
of <fileset>s and <dirset>s that share the same configuration but
  have different base directories.
  Bugzilla Report 48621

* <get> has a quiet attribute that makes the task log errors only
  when enabled.
  GitHub Pull Request #1

* <junit> has now a threads attribute allowing to run the tests in several threads.
  Bugzilla Report 55925

* addition of a new ProcessUtil class providing the process id of the current process

* changes to allow to run the JUnit testcases of Ant in parallel,
by making them use unique temporary directories

Updated devel/monotone to 1.1

(wiz)

2014-05-06 08:21:15 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.1:

Sun May  4 09:55:54 UTC 2014

        1.1 release.

        Changes

        - '_MTN/wanted-testresults' must now have 1 hex-encoded
signing key hash in lowercase per line.

        New features

        - 'automate atttributes' now also works without a workspace
and returns the attributes for a specific file from the
          revision's manifest

        - New 'erase_descendants' automate command which returns all
input revisions, except those that are a descendant of
          another revision in the input.

        - New 'min(A)' selector is now available which returns all
revisions selected by A which are not descendants of other
          revisions selected by A.

        - New 'not(A)' selector is now available which returns all
          revisions not selected by 'A'.

        - All certs for a revision are now output by 'mtn log' with
'suspend', 'testresult', and custom certs placed under a
          a new 'Other certs' heading.

        - New conflict 'dropped/modified' allows explicitly resolving
the case of a file that is dropped on one side of a merge,
and modified on the other. Previously, the modifications
were always lost; now you have the option of re-adding the
file with the modifications during merge conflict
          resolution.

        - New attribute 'mtn:resolve_conflict' allows specifying a
persistent 'drop' conflict resolution for a dropped/modified
conflict. This is useful in the case where the conflict will
occur again in the future, for example when a file that is
maintained in an upstream branch is not needed, and
therefore dropped, in a local branch.

        Bugs fixed

        - Monotone now compiles against Botan 1.10.x (as well as most of
          the testing releases in 1.9.y).

        - Struct file_handle got renamed to avoid clash with newer glibc's
          fcntl.h.

        - Monotone now compiles just fine with gcc's option
          "-Werror=format-security."

        - Fixed renaming across devices, for example if parts of the
          workspace are on NFS.

        - Fixed recursive file removal on Solaris.

        - Fixed a failure to revert some files when inodeprints is
          enabled.

        - Fix an early abort in netsync on Windows, which caused
          problems transferring large files.

        - Work around a 64-bit issue with mktime on Mac OS X for dates
          in 1901 and before.

        - Allow an ssh_agent socket path including dashes.

        - Monotone now works with Lua 5.2, even if it doesn't have
          backwards-compatibility compiled in.

        - Various fixes for compatibility with newer boost versions.

        - mtn add and mtn list are now more consistent in their use of
          --recursive and --unknown options.

        - Produce a meaningful error message when trying to disapprove a
          root.

        - Allow monotone to compile on platforms where MAXPATHLEN isn't
          defined (i.e. GNU/Hurd).

        - Allow monotone to compile on C++11-enabled g++ and clang++.

        - Allow the test suite to run on systems behind a broken DNS
resolver and in cases where names cannot be resolved at all.

        - Allow the test suite to run from directories containing
spaces and lots of other minor tweaks to the test suite
          making its results more reliable.

        Internal

        - The performance and memory usage of regular expressions has
been improved throughout. This affects any use of the
".mtn-ignore" file such as "mtn ls unknown" and "mtn add",
and any calls to "regex.search" in Lua hooks.

        Other

        - 'mtn diff' now outputs old and new revision IDs in the diff
          header when both are specified.

        - Additional Vim syntax files and an output colorization script
          in contrib.

Updated www/py-cherrypy to 3.3.0

(wiz)

2014-05-04 17:12:34 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 3.3.0:

The CherryPy team is proud to announce the release of CherryPy
3.3.0!

After a long stable life, CherryPy 3.2 is now superseded by CherryPy
3.3. In addition to several bugs fixed, the latest release also
includes a few improvements, detailed in the Release Notes.

Beginning with this release, the CherryPy maintainers will seek to
make more frequent updates and follow semver versioning. The more
frequent releases will allow improvements and bug fixes to quickly
percolate and get frequent feedback. The semver scheme will allow
package maintainers to manage their expectations when upgrading.
We hope these changes to the release cycle will spur innovation
and reinvigorate the project.

Given that changes in this 3.3.0 release include changes going back
several years, please do upgrade with caution. If you encounter
any issues, please report those to the issue tracker.

Wishing you Voodoo-free HTTP, The CherryPy team

The ā€œnobody wants redā€ release.

ā€¢ add Documentation key to dbus.service (fd.o #77447, Cameron Norman)

Fixes:

  (fd.o #77941, Simon McVittie)

ā€¢ if dbus-launch receives an X error very quickly, do not kill
  unrelated processes (fd.o #74698, Š Š¾Š¼Š°Š½ Š”Š¾Š½Ń‡ŠµŠ½ŠŗŠ¾)

ā€¢ on Windows, allow up to 8K connections to the dbus-daemon, instead of the

This is an ugly hack:

qdbuscpp2xml and qdbusxml2cpp should be built and installed, because
they are referenced from Qt5DBusConfigExtras.cmake, and cmake
fails to find qtdbus if they are not installed.
I didn't manage to build them though, and the only customers so far
didn't need their functionality - so install scripts that call 'false'.

Update to 3.1. Switch from kde3 to qt5.
(kde and qt4 options would be possible, if someone wants to add them)

Changes since 1.6:
3.1
Support for synchronized lyrics and event timing codes, find and
replace strings in tags and file names, details and sort columns
in file list, bug fixes and usability improvements.

3.0.2
This bugfix release solves the problem that translations and the
documentation were not found on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks. The
application is now correctly terminated when the main window is
closed while the handbook is open. Session restoration and the
genres list have been improved. A few build system issues are fixed
too.

3.0.1
This is a bug fix release for 3.0. It fixes the incorrect configuration
conversion and toolbar configuration in the KDE version, the filename
format configuration, bugs in the fingerprint import and several
build issues for different Linux distributions.

3.0
Flexible architecture with common shared libraries and plugins for
metadata libraries and importers, new command-line application,
support for Opus format, bug fixes and usability improvements.

2.3
Automatic batch import for multiple directories, improved import,
configurable quick access tag frames, better responsiveness when
working with a huge number of files, long operations can be aborted,
bug fixes and usability improvements.

2.2.1
This is a bug fix release for 2.2. It fixes the selection of a
wrong language if the primary language is not supported and the
first fallback language should be English and that the English
instead of the German handbook was displayed for a German locale.

2.2
Improved Discogs and AcoustID audio fingerprint import, bug fixes
and usability improvements.

2.1
Chromaprint Acoustid fingerprint import, keyboard shortcuts, improved
iTunes support, icons, bug fixes.

2.0.1
Minor bugfixes. The build system is also improved and should work
out of the box on most distributions.

2.0
Extract and move information between tags, many improvements and
refactorings, e.g. in file list, import, numbering tracks, renaming
directories, GUI and usability.

Remove libmpcdec/buildlink3.mk. Bump PKGREVISION.

This library is dead upstream and shouldn't be used for new stuff.
It hasn't been updated to support the newer musepack library (audio/musepack)
and thus depended on the old libmpcdec package instead.
This causes conflicts if you want to install e.g. KDE and vlc.

Import appdata-tools-0.1.7 as devel/appdata-tools.

Every software center that exists allows the user to look at
screenshots and a long description of the application before it is
installed. For most users it allows them to answer the question Do
I want to install this application?

Traditionally in Linux distributions, we have none of this data
for the vast majority of our desktop user-installable applications.
To solve this, we have defined a new data file, which the upstream
project can optionally translate using the same technique as GSetting
schemas or Desktop files. Rather than create a new schema from
scratch, we'll be using a subset of the AppStream metadata proposal.

Import poppler-qt5-0.26.0 as print/poppler-qt5, based on wip package
by nros.

This is the QT5 wrapper for poppler, a PDF rendering library. It
is a fork of the xpdf 3.0 PDF viewer developed by Derek Noonburg
of Glyph and Cog, LLC.

Poppler provides PDF rendering functionality as a shared library,
to centralize the maintenence effort and to reduce duplicated
effort. And the poppler developers would like to move libpoppler
forward in a number of areas that doesn't fit within the goals of
xpdf.
