doc: Updated audio/fasttracker2 to 1.43

(fox)

2021-01-16 19:04:40 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

audio/fasttracker2: Updates to v1.43

Changes since v1.41

v1.43 - 13.01.2021
- Sample tuning is now slightly more accurate when importing .IFF/.WAV/.AIFF
samples. It can still be off by up to several cents, but this is because of a
rather low sample pitch precision in FT2 (5-bit finetune + relative note).
- Bugfix: Fixed some scrollbar bugs in the instrument editor (when changing
values, then changing instrument, and changing values again).
- New feature: Display middle-C (C-4) frequency in the instrument editor
- Some small optimizations and minor bugfixes

v1.42 - 01.01.2021
- Updated SDL from version 2.0.12 to version 2.0.14
- Windows: Because of a bugfix in SDL 2.0.14, the instrument selector keys
(numpad) still work like they should regardless of the numlock state.
- Changed a flag when setting up the video renderer so that the program can
properly run in rare cases where it wouldn't
- Some other minor fixes

www/ruby-rack-contrib: update to 2.3.0

2.3.0 (2020-11-30)

The list of changes in this release is long, and should serve as a warning
to me to make releases more often, as it cuts down on typing.  Thanks to
everyone who made PRs, checked PRs, merged PRs, and... renewed PRs.
Special thanks to Andrew Konchin (@andrykonchin) who is responsible for
over half the changes in this monster release, and who has come on board
as a maintainer.

This release removes the Rack::Runtime and Rack::Config middleware.
This may seem like a foolhardy thing to do in a minor release, but rack
itself ships with functionally identical versions.  Compatibility has been
maintained by having require "rack/contrib/<thing>" still work, but that
should be changed to require "rack/<thing>" instead.

* A #close method was added to the body that is returned by Rack::Signals.
* A stub CHANGELOG.md, pointing to the canonical source of release notes,
  has been added.
* Thread safety issues in Rack::Access, Rack::CommonCookies, and
Rack::Deflect have been fixed. Additionally, the need for a thread-safe
external cache object in Rack::LazyConditionalGet has been documented.
* A SPEC violation in Rack::CSSHTTPRequest has been fixed.
* Case-sensitive header problems in a whole bunch of middlewares have been
  fixed.
* Rack::JSONBodyParser now only rescues JSON::ParserError if it is raised
within the middleware's own code. Exceptions raised by the application
itself will now be left alone to be handled elsewhere.
* All string literals are now frozen.
* Residual ye olde Ruby compatibility checks were removed from
  Rack::Backstage, Rack::MailExceptions and Rack::NestedParams.
* The length calculation in Rack::JSONP has been made simpler.

Highlights

Faraday v1.3.0 is the first release to officially support Ruby 3.0 in the

bugzilla: update to 5.0.6, fix default configuration

- No skin was installed
- Some configuration seemed to be relevant for Apache 2.2

5.0.6:
This release contains a schema change to the flagtypes table, allowing for many more flagtypes.

The flagtypes table should have been using a mediumint for several releases, but due to a bug in the schema migration code this never happened.

5.0.5:
This release reformats the code according to the same conventions as the popular Mojolicious product and includes a .perltidyrc to do the same. You may use whatever coding style you want, but all files commited to the repo must be reformatted according to those rules.

Additionally, we no longer follow the same release process as before. Releases will be more frequent.

As it is now 2019, the bugs_fulltext table is now InnoDB instead of MyISAM. This may cause upgrade headaches.

5.0.4:
This release fixes one security issue. CVE-2018-5123

This release also contains the following [% terms.bug %] fixes:

    checksetup.pl would fail to update Chart storage during pre-3.6 to 5.0 upgrade. ([% terms.Bug %] 1273846)
editflagtypes.cgi would crash when classifications are enabled and the user did not have global editcomponents privileges. ([% terms.Bug %] 1310728)
    The File::Slurp would trigger warnings on perl 5.24. ([% terms.Bug %] 1301887)
All the time entries in the 'when' column had the correct date but the time was fixed to 00:00 when using Sqlite. ([% terms.Bug %] 1303702)

Enhancements

1863: disk_partitions() exposes 2 extra fields: maxfile and maxpath, which are the maximum file name and path name length.
1872: [Windows] added support for PyPy 2.7.
1879: provide pre-compiled wheels for Linux and macOS (yey!).
1880: get rid of Travis and Cirrus CI services (they are no longer free). CI testing is now done by GitHub Actions on Linux, macOS and FreeBSD (yes). AppVeyor is still being used for Windows CI.

Bug fixes

1708: [Linux] get rid of sensors_temperatures() duplicates. (patch by Tim Schlueter).
1839: [Windows] always raise AccessDenied when failing to query 64 processes from 32 bit ones (NtWoW64 APIs).
1866: [Windows] process exe(), cmdline(), environ() may raise "invalid access to memory location" on Python 3.9.
1874: [Solaris] wrong swap output given when encrypted column is present.
1875: [Windows] process username() may raise ERROR_NONE_MAPPED if the SID has no corresponding account name. In this case AccessDenied is now raised.
1877: [Windows] OpenProcess may fail with ERROR_SUCCESS. Turn it into AccessDenied or NoSuchProcess depending on whether the PID is alive.
1886: [macOS] EIO error may be raised on cmdline() and environment(). Now it gets translated into AccessDenied.
1891: [macOS] get rid of deprecated getpagesize().

-experimental "modal mode" (or "vim mode") in broot.
See https://dystroy.org/broot/vim_mode/

Warning!
-DON'T activate this mode until you really tried broot. Broot isn't a text
editor and can't be confused with one. This mode may be more comfortable when
you constantly jump from vim to broot but only after you understood how broot
works.
This isn't really about a "vim mode". This is about a "modal mode" in which
single letter key shortcuts are possible because the input at the bottom isn't
always focused. You may devise single letter shortcuts without taking
inspiration in vim
You may be an avid vim user, as I am, and still prefer not to use modality in
broot. Starting in command mode means you have one more letter to type before
searching, because search is done in input mode. And broot is search oriented
and often used in very short sessions (less than 5 seconds from intent to
launch to being back in the shell in the right directory or editing the right
file in your favorite editor).

(schmonz)

2021-01-14 18:21:01 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.4.18. From the changelog:

indexers:

* omindex:

+ Add default MIME mapping for application/rtf.  IANA have registrations for
text/rtf and (more recently) application/rtf (it seems because newer
versions of the RTF format can contain 8-bit data) so we now recognise
application/rtf by default and handle it the same way as text/rtf.

Current libmagic seems to always return text/rtf (no matches for
application/rtf in magic.mgc) and we continue to map extension rtf to
text/rtf, so this change is mainly future-proofing against libmagic future
    changes.

+ Add support for indexing OpenXPS, which is effectively the same as XPS
internally in ways we care about, but it uses a different mimetype and a
    different filename extension.

omega:

* Explicitly use OR for MORELIKE queries.

Since 1.3.0 the default value of DEFAULTOP has been AND, which typically
makes MORELIKE queries much less useful since they'll only match documents
containing all the terms from the query expansion.  We now explicitly insert
" OR " between the terms if DEFAULTOP hasn't been set to OR, which makes them
work much more like they did in 1.2.x.

* Make $stoplist and $unstem consider all query strings by always passing the
  new Xapian::QueryParser::FLAG_ACCUMULATE flag.

* Add $foreach command which works like $map, but just concatenates the
evaluated results rather than adding tabs to turn them into an OmegaScript
  list.

* Extend $include{} to allow handling failure to open the specified file via an
optional second argument which if specified will be evaluated and returned
  instead.  Patch from Gaurav Arora.

* Support multiple MORELIKE parameters - we now form an RSet from all the
specified documents and use that to generate the query to run (previously
only one of multiple MORELIKE parameters was used).

doc: Updated textproc/xapian to 1.4.18

(schmonz)

2021-01-14 18:17:10 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.4.18. From the changelog:

API:

* QueryParser::FLAG_ACCUMULATE: New flag.  Previously the unstem and stoplist
data was always reset by a call to QueryParser::parse_query(), which makes
sense if you use the same QueryParser object to parse a series of independent
queries.  If you're using the same QueryParser object to parse several fields
on the same query form, you may want to have the unstem and stoplist data
combined for all of them, in which case you can use this flag to prevent this
  data from being reset.

* QueryParser::unstem_begin(): Eliminate unnecessary copying of the data.

* Fix typo in Swedish stopword list, syncing change made to Snowball by Daniel
  G坦mez Villanueva.

* Remove some French stop words with other meanings, syncing change made to
  Snowball by PhilippeOuellet.

testsuite:

* Run testcase testlock4 using backend chert, not just using glass

* Skip testcase testlock4 on platforms that don't allow us to implement
Database::locked() (which notably include GNU Hurd and Microsoft Windows).

documentation:

* List DB_NO_TERMLIST in the WritableDatabase constructor API documentation
where we already list the other DB_* constants.

portability:

* Eliminate single use of std::mem_fun() which was deprecated in C++11 and
removed in C++17.  Reported by Mateusz Pusz in #806.

* Add missing includes for std::numeric_limits<>.  Reported by stac47 in #805.

* Work around mingw.org header issue.  MSVC seems to implicitly include
  <winerror.h> but mingw.org's headers don't, leading to ERROR_PIPE_CONNECTED
not being defined.  Fixes https://github.com/xapian/xapian/pull/318, reported
  by Alex Sandro.

* Suppress MSVC warnings about possible loss of data.  The values involved are
the number of set bits in a value of integer type, so these warnings are
  bogus.

* Include <sys/types.h> for size_t and off_t, which is the appropriate header,
and needed with Android's bionic libc.  Patch from Matthieu Gautier.

* Use a temporary file for the Doxygen configuration to work around Doxygen
1.8.19 bug which truncates a config file read from stdin to 4096 bytes
  (https://github.com/doxygen/doxygen/issues/7975).
