Update to sudo 1.8.31

What's new:

* Fixed CVE-2019-18634, a buffer overflow when the "pwfeedback"
  sudoers option is enabled on systems with uni-directional pipes.

* The "sudoedit_checkdir" option now treats a user-owned directory
  as writable, even if it does not have the write bit set at the
  time of check.  Symbolic links will no longer be followed by
  sudoedit in any user-owned directory.  Bug #912

* Fixed sudoedit on macOS 10.15 and above where the root file system
  is mounted read-only.  Bug #913.

* Fixed a crash introduced in sudo 1.8.30 when suspending sudo
  at the password prompt.  Bug #914.

* Fixed compilation on systems where the mmap MAP_ANON flag
  is not available.  Bug #915.

doc: Updated textproc/p5-ack to 3.3.1

(schmonz)

2020-02-03 01:57:20 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 3.3.1. From the changelog:

v3.3.1      Mon Jan 13 10:27:16 CST 2020
========================================
[FIXES]
Some regexes would be shown as invalid when used with the -Q option.  Since
the -Q tells ack to treat the regex as a literal, this shouldn't be
possible.  (GH#294)

v3.3.0      Sat Dec 28 16:00:21 CST 2019
========================================
[FEATURES]
The error message ack displays when the regex passed is invalid has been
improved.  The message is more readable and includes a pointer to the
offending part of the regex.  For example:

    $ ack 'status: (open|closed|in progress'
    ack: Invalid regex 'status: (open|closed|in progress'
    Regex: status: (open|closed|in progress
                  ^---HERE Unmatched ( in regex

Added many new file and directory exclusions to speed up file selection.
* Python's *.pyc, *.pyd and *.pyo compiled files
* Python's __pycache__ and .pytest_cache directories
* Linux *.so shared object files
* Windows dynamic-link library *.dll files
* gettext compiled *.mo translation files
* macOS's __MACOSX directories and .DS_Store files

Reorganized the --help menu to put "action" options like -f, -g and -l at
the top of the listing.

The --show-types option only has an effect with -f or -g.  ack will now
tell you if you use --show-types without -f or -g when it will have no
effect.

Improved the error message when ack gets passed two options that can't be
used together.

[FIXES]
Fixed the behavior of --break and --heading.  Using --break would
implicitly set --noheading, and --heading would implicitly set --nobreak.

The following pairs of options don't make sense to use together, and ack will now warn you if you try:

* -x and --files-from
* -v and -o
* -v and --output
* -v and --passthru

Fixed the minimum version of the Getopt::Long module required. (GH #287)

The line number and filename separators in --passthru mode now work the
same as in context (-A/-B/-C) mode.  (GH #291)

v3.2.0      Sun Nov  3 22:52:18 CST 2019
========================================
[FEATURES]
Added "-t X" as a short alias for --type=X.

Added "-T X" as a short alias for --type=noX.

The feature of using the name of the type as an option is deprecated.  For
example, ack currently lets you use "--perl" instead of "--type=perl" or
"-t perl",  This is now deprecated and will be removed in a future release.

Removed support for Parrot (--parrot).

v3.1.3      Sat Oct 19 19:23:48 CDT 2019
========================================
No changes to functionality.  Fixed a problem with version numbers.
Thanks to Dan Book for his help.
See https://github.com/beyondgrep/ack3/commit/b3c43d44109dea6ebc0753107a8e85a6b322f4ca

v3.1.2      Mon Oct 14 21:47:51 CDT 2019
========================================
[SPEEDUP]
Using -w with a pattern that ended with a metacharacter would be slower
than it should be because it would skip an optimization. Now it's fixed.
(GH #181, #251)

[FIXES]
Fixed test failures that would sometimes happen on Windows machines because
of taint mode.  Thanks, Tomasz Konojacki. (GH #235)

Remove the use of the version.pm module.

v3.1.1      Sat Aug 31 22:56:10 CDT 2019
========================================
[SPEEDUP]
Improved the speed up the -l, -L and -c options by pre-scanning the file
in bulk before doing line-by-line scan. (GH #221)

ack now uses File::Next 1.18 which calls stat() only once per file or
directory, instead of sometimes calling it twice.  This should improve the
time spent traversing directories.

[FIXES]
On Windows, patterns with $ to mark the end of the line would not match.
(GH #229)

[DOCUMENTATION]
Fixed docs that referred to --range-stop instead of --range-end. (GH #228)

v3.1.0      Thu Aug 22 22:43:15 CDT 2019
========================================
[FEATURES]
Added the --range-start and --range-end options to allow searching only
ranges of each file. (GH #165)

v3.0.3      Tue Aug 20 23:42:02 CDT 2019
========================================
[FIXES]
Made smartcase's check for lowercase patterns smarter.

[DOCUMENTATION]
Updated many URLs, especially in the config. (GH #223)

v3.0.2      Thu Jul  4 21:42:43 CDT 2019
========================================
[FIXES]
ack's smart-case feature would think that a pattern like "select \S+ from"
is looking for a uppercase letter, and so would not make a case-insensitive
search.  Now, ack knows that uppercase letters in metacharacters don't
count as looking for a uppercase letter. (GH #156, 187, 214)

v3.0.1      Tue Jun 25 20:47:58 CDT 2019
========================================
[FIXES]
The -s option tells ack not to complain about missing or unreadable files
it tries to search.  The -s option would not always work in conjection with
the -x option.  Now it does.  Thanks, Anders Eriksson and M. Scott Ford.
(GH #175)

ack would die if you specified a --output option that didn't use one
of Perl's special match variables.  Now it won't.  Thanks, M. Scott
Ford. (GH #210)

[INTERNALS]
Added a Dockerfile for use when working on ack development.  Thanks,
M. Scott Ford. (GH #208)

v3.0.0      Mon May 27 21:46:34 CDT 2019
========================================
First official release of ack verison 3.

See "Release notes for ack 3.0.0" at the bottom of this document for
details of what has changed between ack 2.x and ack 3.

[FIXES]
Fixed a failing test if Pod::Perldoc::ToTextOverstrike was being
used. (GH#202)

2.999_08 Sun May 19 20:33:13 CDT 2019
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
Consolidated the manual and FAQ into one document, accessible with --man.
Cookbook.pm has been moved to dev for future use.

Added SVG filetype.

[FIXES]
Invalid options used to cause an error message triplicate. Fixes GH #192.

2.999_07 Sun Mar 31 21:54:55 CDT 2019
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
Added --help-colors and --help-rgb-colors options to display colors
available for color options.

Many more mutex options have been added to help users know when they've
made a mistake.  For example, it doesn't make sense to have -C to show
context when using -f to get a file list.

Overhauled the handling of mutually exclusive options.  We now properly
handle mutex options even if they are abbreviated.  The actual argument
used is now shown.  Fixes GH #57.

2.999_06 Thu Jan 10 20:37:23 CST 2019
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
The --tt option for Template Toolkit is now --ttml.  The short version
still works.

The standalone version of ack no longer supports the --faq or --cookbook
options, which never worked right for it anyway.  Instead, --man includes
the FAQ and Cookbook.

The --man option no longer uses the `perldoc` program for rendering the
documentation.  This means you'll have to pipe it into your own pager if
you want scrolling, but it makes it much more portable.

[FIXES]
ack would stop finding files if there was a file named "0" in the current
directory. Thanks, Rob Hoelz. (GH #162)

[REMOVED FUNCTIONALITY]
The --lines option has been removed. (GH #167)

The -u short alias for --underline has been removed. (GH #173)

2.999_05 Sun Oct 21 21:37:39 CDT 2018
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
Add -p as a shorter version of --proximate.

2.999_04 Thu Sep  6 17:45:07 CDT 2018
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
Added -P as a negation of --proximate.  It is the same as --proximate=0.
If you have --proximate in an .ackrc, -P can be used to cancel it.

Added --ts for Typescript.

2.999_03 Fri Jan 19 11:02:46 CST 2018
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
The check for whether we need to scan the entire file line-by-line now
reads 10M of file instead of just 100K.

Removed support for the ACK_OPTIONS environment variable.  Use an ackrc
file instead.  If you have ACK_OPTIONS set, ack will give a warning.

Lots of internal speedups.

2.999_02 Mon Jan  8 23:03:42 CST 2018
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
Added an optimization to make ack only do a line-by-line search of a
file if there's a match somewhere in the file.  This gives ack a 20-30%
in timings of common cases.

2.999_01 Mon Jan  1 22:11:17 CST 2018
=====================================
[ENHANCEMENTS]
Added --pod as a filetype, recognizing .pod as its extension.  This is
Perl's POD (Plain Old Documentation) format.

Added --markdown as a filetype, recognizing .md and .markdown as
extensions.

--pager is no longer allowed in a project .ackrc file.  --match and
--output are not allowed in any .ackrc file.

ack 3's new features are listed below for now.

[FIXES]
--lines had some mutex options that were not getting checked.  Now,
--lines is mutex with --passthru, --match and all context options.

=============================
# Release notes for ack 3.0.0
=============================

# New features

ack 3 is a greplike tool optimized for searching large code trees.

Improvements over ack 2 include:

* Improved `-w` option.

* `-w` option will warn if your pattern does not lend itself to
word matching.

* `-i`, `-I` and `--smart-case`

* `--proximate=N` option

* Added `--pod` and `--markdown`.

* Added `GNUmakefile` to the list of makefile specs.

* Added `-S` as a synonym for `--smart-case`.

# Bug fixes

* Column numbers were not getting colorized in the output.  Added
`--color-colno` option and `ACK_COLOR_COLNO` environment variable.

* A pattern that wanted whitespace at the end could match the
linefeed at the end of a line.  This is no longer possible.

# Incompatibilities with ack 2

## ack 3 requires Perl 5.10.1

ack 2 only needed Perl 5.8.8.  This shouldn't be a problem since 5.10.1
has been out since 2009.

## ack 3 no longer highlights capture groups.

ack 2 would highlight your capture groups.  For example,

    ack '(set|get)_foo_(name|id)'

would highlight the `set` or `get`, and the `name` or `id`, but not the
full `set_user_id` that was matched.

This feature was too confusing and has been removed.  Now, the entire
matching string is highlighted.

## ack 3's --output allows fewer special variables

In ack 2, you could put any kind of Perl code in the `--output`
option and it would get `eval`uated at run time, which would let
you do tricky stuff like this gem from Mark Fowler
(http://www.perladvent.org/2014/2014-12-21.html):

    ack --output='$&: @{[ eval "use LWP::Simple; 1" && length LWP::Simple::get($&) ]} bytes' \
                    'https?://\S+' list.txt
    http://google.com/: 19529 bytes
    http://metacpan.org/: 7560 bytes
    http://www.perladvent.org/: 5562 bytes

This has been a security problem in the past, and so in ack 3 we
no longer `eval` the contents of `--output`.  You're now restricted
to the following variables: `$1` thru `$9`, `$_`, `$.`, `$&`, ``$` ``,
`$'` and `$+`.  You can also embed `\t`, `\n` and `\r` ,
and `$f` as stand-in for `$filename` in `ack2 --output` .

Update go113 to 1.13.7 (security release).

Panic in crypto/x509 certificate parsing and golang.org/x/crypto/cryptobyte

On 32-bit architectures, a malformed input to crypto/x509 or the ASN.1 parsing
functions of golang.org/x/crypto/cryptobyte can lead to a panic.

The malformed certificate can be delivered via a crypto/tls connection to a
client, or to a server that accepts client certificates. net/http clients can
be made to crash by an HTTPS server, while net/http servers that accept client
certificates will recover the panic and are unaffected.

Thanks to Project Wycheproof for providing the test cases that led to the
discovery of this issue.

The issue is CVE-2020-7919 and Go issue golang.org/issue/36837.

This is also fixed in version v0.0.0-20200124225646-8b5121be2f68 of
golang.org/x/crypto/cryptobyte.

doc: Updated lang/go112 to 1.12.16

(bsiegert)

2020-02-02 09:26:39 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update go112 to 1.12.16 (security release).

This is also fixed in version v0.0.0-20200124225646-8b5121be2f68 of
golang.org/x/crypto/cryptobyte.

librdkafka: updated to 1.3.0

librdkafka v1.3.0 release
This is a feature release adding support for KIP-392 Fetch from follower, allowing a consumer to fetch messages from the closest replica to increase throughput and reduce cost.

Features
KIP-392 - Fetch messages from closest replica / follower (by @mhowlett)
Added experimental (subject to change or removal) mock broker to make application and librdkafka development testing easier.

Fixes
Fix consumer_lag in stats when consuming from broker versions <0.11.0.0 (regression in librdkafka v1.2.0).

librdkafka v1.2.2 release
v1.2.2 fixes the producer performance regression introduced in v1.2.1 which may affect high-throughput producer applications.

Fixes
Fix producer insert msgq regression in v1.2.1.
Upgrade builtin lz4 to 1.9.2.
Don't trigger error when broker hostname changes.
Less strict message.max.bytes check for individual messages.
Don't call timespec_get() on OSX (since it was removed in recent XCode) by @maparent .
configure: add --runstatedir for compatibility with autoconf.
LZ4 is available from ProduceRequest 0, not 3.
Address 12 code issues identified by Coverity static code analysis.

Enhancements
Add warnings for inconsistent security configuration.
Optimizations to hdr histogram (stats) rollover.
Reorganized examples and added a cleaner consumer example, added minimal C++ producer example.
Print compression type per message-set when debug=msg

librdkafka v1.2.1 release
Warning: v1.2.1 has a producer performance regression which may affect high-throughput producer applications. We recommend such users to stay on v1.2.0.

v1.2.1 is a maintenance release:
Properly handle new Kafka-framed SASL GSSAPI frame semantics on Windows.
This bug was introduced in v1.2.0 and broke GSSAPI authentication on Windows.
Fix msgq (re)insertion code to avoid O(N^2) insert sort operations on retry
The msgq insert code now properly handles interleaved and overlapping
message range inserts, which may occur during Producer retries for
high-throughput applications.
configure: added --disable-c11threads to avoid using libc-provided C11 threads.
configure: added more autoconf compatibility options to ignore

librdkafka v1.2.0 release

WARNING: There is an issue with SASL GSSAPI authentication on Windows with this release. Upgrade directly to v1.2.1 which fixes the issue.

v1.2.0 is a feature release making the consumer transaction aware.

Transaction aware consumer (isolation.level=read_committed) implemented by @mhowlett.
Sub-millisecond buffering (linger.ms) on the producer.
Improved authentication errors (KIP-152)

Consumer-side transaction support
This release adds consumer-side support for transactions.
In previous releases, the consumer always delivered all messages to the application, even those in aborted or not yet committed transactions. In this release, the consumer will by default skip messages in aborted transactions.
This is controlled through the new isolation.level configuration property which
defaults to read_committed (only read committed messages, filter out aborted and not-yet committed transactions), to consume all messages, including for aborted transactions, you may set this property to read_uncommitted to get the behaviour of previous releases.
For consumers in read_committed mode, the end of a partition is now defined to be the offset of the last message of a successfully committed transaction (referred to as the 'Last Stable Offset').
For non-transactional messages there is no change from previous releases, they will always be read, but a consumer will not advance into a not yet committed transaction on the partition.

Upgrade considerations
linger.ms default was changed from 0 to 0.5 ms to promote some level of batching even with default settings.

New configuration properties
Consumer property isolation.level=read_committed ensures the consumer will only read messages from successfully committed producer transactions. Default is read_committed. To get the previous behaviour, set the property to read_uncommitted, which will read all messages produced to a topic, regardless if the message was part of an aborted or not yet committed transaction.
Enhancements
Offset commit metadata (arbitrary application-specified data) is now returned by rd_kafka_committed() and rd_kafka_offsets_for_times()
C++: Added Conf::c_ptr*() to retrieve the underlying C config object.
Added on_thread_start() and on_thread_exit() interceptors.
Increase queue.buffering.max.kbytes max to INT_MAX.
Optimize varint decoding, increasing consume performance by ~15%.

Fixes
General:
Rate limit IO-based queue wakeups to linger.ms, this reduces CPU load and lock contention for high throughput producer applications.
Reduce memory allocations done by rd_kafka_topic_partition_list_new().
Fix socket recv error handling on MSVC (by Jinsu Lee).
Avoid 1s stalls in some scenarios when broker wakeup-fd is triggered.
SSL: Use only hostname (not port) when valid broker hostname (by Hunter Jacksson)
SSL: Ignore OpenSSL cert verification results if enable.ssl.certificate.verification=false
rdkafka_example_cpp: fix metadata listing mode (@njzcx)
SASL Kerberos/GSSAPI: don't treat kinit ECHILD errors as errors
Fix compare overflows
configure: Add option to disable automagic dependency on zstd (by Thomas Deutschmann)
Documentation updates and fixes by Cedric Cellier and @ngrandem
Set thread name on MacOS X (by Nikhil Benesch)
C++: Fix memory leak in Headers (by Vladimir Sakharuk)
Fix UBSan (undefined behaviour errors)
CONFIGURATION.md: escape || inside markdown table
Refresh broker list metadata even if no topics to refresh

Consumer:
Make rd_kafka_pause|resume_partitions() synchronous, making sure that a subsequent consumer_poll() will not return messages for the paused partitions.
Fix incorrect toppar destroy in OffsetRequest
Fix message version 1 offset calculation
Defer commit in transport error to avoid consumer_close hang.

Producer:
Messages were not timed out for leader-less partitions.
Improve message timeout granularity to millisecond precision (the smallest ffective message timeout will still be 1000ms).
message.timeout.ms=0 is now accepted even if linger.ms > 0 (by Jeff Snyder)
Don't track max.poll.interval.ms unless in Consumer mode, this saves quite a few memory barries for high-performance Producers.
Optimization: avoid atomic fatal error code check when idempotence is disabled.

Updated net/py-zeroconf, devel/py-wheel, finance/py-stripe, textproc/py-jinja2

(adam)

2020-02-01 20:31:29 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

py-jinja2: updated to 2.11.1

Version 2.11.1
- Fix a bug that prevented looking up a key after an attribute
  (``{{ data.items[1:] }}``) in an async template.

Version 2.11.0
- Drop support for Python 2.6, 3.3, and 3.4. This will be the last
  version to support Python 2.7 and 3.5.
- Added a new ``ChainableUndefined`` class to support getitem and
  getattr on an undefined object.
- Allow ``{%+`` syntax (with NOP behavior) when ``lstrip_blocks`` is
  disabled.
- Added a ``default`` parameter for the ``map`` filter.
- Exclude environment globals from
  :func:`meta.find_undeclared_variables`.
- Float literals can be written with scientific notation, like
  2.56e-3.
- Int and float literals can be written with the '_' separator for
  legibility, like 12_345.
- Fix a bug causing deadlocks in ``LRUCache.setdefault``.
- The ``trim`` filter takes an optional string of characters to trim.
- A new ``jinja2.ext.debug`` extension adds a ``{% debug %}`` tag to
  quickly dump the current context and available filters and tests.
- Lexing templates with large amounts of whitespace is much faster.
- Parentheses around comparisons are preserved, so
  ``{{ 2 * (3 < 5) }}`` outputs "2" instead of "False".
- Add new ``boolean``, ``false``, ``true``, ``integer`` and ``float``
  tests.
- The environment's ``finalize`` function is only applied to the
  output of expressions (constant or not), not static template data.
- When providing multiple paths to ``FileSystemLoader``, a template
  can have the same name as a directory.
- Always return :class:`Undefined` when omitting the ``else`` clause
  in a ``{{ 'foo' if bar }}`` expression, regardless of the
  environment's ``undefined`` class. Omitting the ``else`` clause is a
  valid shortcut and should not raise an error when using
  :class:`StrictUndefined`.
- Fix behavior of ``loop`` control variables such as ``length`` and
  ``revindex0`` when looping over a generator.
- Async support is only loaded the first time an environment enables
  it, in order to avoid a slow initial import.
- In async environments, the ``|map`` filter will await the filter
  call if needed.
- In for loops that access ``loop`` attributes, the iterator is not
  advanced ahead of the current iteration unless ``length``,
  ``revindex``, ``nextitem``, or ``last`` are accessed. This makes it
  less likely to break ``groupby`` results.
- In async environments, the ``loop`` attributes ``length`` and
  ``revindex`` work for async iterators.
- In async environments, values from attribute/property access will
  be awaited if needed.
- :class:`~loader.PackageLoader` doesn't depend on setuptools or
  pkg_resources.
- ``PackageLoader`` has limited support for :pep:`420` namespace
  packages.
- Support :class:`os.PathLike` objects in
  :class:`~loader.FileSystemLoader` and :class:`~loader.ModuleLoader`.
- :class:`~nativetypes.NativeTemplate` correctly handles quotes
  between expressions. ``"'{{ a }}', '{{ b }}'"`` renders as the tuple
  ``('1', '2')`` rather than the string ``'1, 2'``.
- Creating a :class:`~nativetypes.NativeTemplate` directly creates a
  :class:`~nativetypes.NativeEnvironment` instead of a default
  :class:`Environment`.
- After calling ``LRUCache.copy()``, the copy's queue methods point to
  the correct queue.
- Compiling templates always writes UTF-8 instead of defaulting to the
  system encoding.
- ``|wordwrap`` filter treats existing newlines as separate paragraphs
  to be wrapped individually, rather than creating short intermediate
  lines.
- Add ``break_on_hyphens`` parameter to ``|wordwrap`` filter.
- Cython compiled functions decorated as context functions will be
  passed the context.
- When chained comparisons of constants are evaluated at compile time,
  the result follows Python's behavior of returning ``False`` if any
  comparison returns ``False``, rather than only the last one.
- Tracebacks for exceptions in templates show the correct line numbers
  and source for Python >= 3.7.
- Tracebacks for template syntax errors in Python 3 no longer show
  internal compiler frames.
- Add a ``DerivedContextReference`` node that can be used by
  extensions to get the current context and local variables such as
  ``loop``.
- Constant folding during compilation is applied to some node types
  that were previously overlooked.
- ``TemplateSyntaxError.source`` is not empty when raised from an
  included template.
- Passing an ``Undefined`` value to ``get_template`` (such as through
  ``extends``, ``import``, or ``include``), raises an
  ``UndefinedError`` consistently. ``select_template`` will show the
  undefined message in the list of attempts rather than the empty
  string.
- ``TemplateSyntaxError`` can be pickled.

py-ipython: updated to 7.12.0

IPython 7.12 is a minor update that mostly brings code cleanup, removal of
longtime deprecated function and a couple update to documentation cleanup as well.

Notable changes are the following:
- Exit non-zero when ipython is given a file path to run that doesn't exist
- Test PR on ARM64 with Travis-CI
- Update CI to work with latest Pytest
- Add infrastructure to run ipykernel eventloop via trio
- Support git blame ignore revs
- Start multi-line ``__repr__`` s on their own line

py-redis: updated to 3.4.0

3.4.0
* Allow empty pipelines to be executed if there are WATCHed keys.
  This is a convenient way to test if any of the watched keys changed
  without actually running any other commands.
* Removed support for end of life Python 3.4.
* Added support for all ACL commands in Redis 6.
* Pipeline instances now always evaluate to True. Prior to this change,
  pipeline instances relied on __len__ for boolean evaluation which
  meant that pipelines with no commands on the stack would be considered
  False.
* Client instances and Connection pools now support a 'client_name'
  argument. If supplied, all connections created will call CLIENT SETNAME
  as soon as the connection is opened.
* Added the 'ssl_check_hostname' argument to specify whether SSL
  connections should require the server hostname to match the hostname
  specified in the SSL cert. By default 'ssl_check_hostname' is False
  for backwards compatibility.
* Slightly optimized command packing.
* Added support for the TYPE argument to SCAN.
* Better thread and fork safety in ConnectionPool and
  BlockingConnectionPool. Added better locking to synchronize critical
  sections rather than relying on CPython-specific implementation details
  relating to atomic operations. Adjusted how the pools identify and
  deal with a fork. Added a ChildDeadlockedError exception that is
  raised by child processes in the very unlikely chance that a deadlock
  is encountered.

dnscrypt-proxy2: Update to 2.0.39

* Version 2.0.39
- The Firefox Local DoH service didn't properly work in version 2.0.38;
this has been fixed. Thanks to Simon Brand for the report!

* Version 2.0.38
- Entries from lists (forwarding, blacklists, whitelists) now support
inline comments.
- Reliability improvement: queries over UDP are retried after a timeout
instead of solely relying on the client.
- Reliability improvement: during temporary network outages, cached records
are now served even if they are stale.
- Bug fix: SOCKS proxies and DNS relays can be combined.
- New feature: multiple fallback resolvers are now supported (see the
new `fallback_resolvers` option. Note that `fallback_resolver` is
still supported for backward compatibility).
- Windows: the service can be installed with a configuration file
stored separately from the application.
- Security (affecting DoH): precompiled binaries of dnscrypt-proxy 2.0.37 are
built using Go 1.13.7 that fixes a TLS certificate parsing issue present in
previous versions of the compiler.

Changes:

    * Added support for the IRCv3 Labeled Response specification.

    * Added support for help topics to the helpop module.

    * Added support for pagination to the index output of the HELPOP
      command.

    * Added support for passing module names to --{disable,enable} using
      their short names (e.g. --enable-extras ssl_gnutls).

    * Added support for passing space-delimited module names to
      --{disable,enable}-extras (e.g. --enable-extras "ssl_gnutls
      ssl_mbedtls").

    * Added support for the X-Real-IP and X-Forwarded-For headers to the
      websocket module.

    * Added the codepage module — a better solution for custom 8-bit
      character set support than the incredibly broken and undocumented
      nationalchars module.

    * Changed the default for <waitpong:sendsnotice> to no.

    * Changed the user count in LUSERS so that it no longer includes
      services pseudoclients.

    * Developer: add Channel::WriteRemoteNotice which sends a notice to
      remote users as well as local users.

    * Developer: add a status char option to Channel::WriteNotice for
      sending status messages.

    * Developer: add the ClientProtocol::MessageTagEvent class to allow
      handling message tags easier.

    * Developer: added MessageTarget::GetName to allow easily getting the
      name of a message target.

    * Developer: added a status char option to the TagMessage constructor
      for sending status messages.

    * Developer: added an "oper only" parameter to
      Simple{Channel,User}ModeHandler.

    * Developer: added empty string checks to the
      Numerics::NoSuch{Channel,Nick} constructors.

    * Developer: added several variadic overloads of the
      IRCv3::Replies::Reply::Send method.

    * Developer: added the OnCommandBlocked event for when the execution of
      a command is blocked.

    * Developer: added the UserManager::ULineCount method for counting
      pseudoclients on ulined servers.

    * Developer: added the inspircd.org/poison capability which rejects any
      attempt to request it to avoid clients requesting all available
      capabilities rather than the ones they support.

    * Developer: added the stdalgo:delete_zero method for deleting and
      zeroing a pointer.

    * Developer: deprecated the ProtocolInterface::Send{Channel,User}Notice
      methods in favour of SendMessage.

    * Developer: disabled CULLLIST log messages unless the server has been
      built in debug mode.

    * Developer: switched from Travis CI to GitHub Actions.

    * Developer: the FailedPort type now contains the config tag that the
      listener was created from.

    * Fix connections to ports which have an invalid I/O hook configured not
      being rejected.

    * Fix various Perl tools not looking in the right directory for the
      make::* modules.

    * Fixed a bug in helpop.conf.example where the SWHOIS key was not using
      the correct value name.

    * Fixed allowing TAGMSG messages to be sent without any tags attached.

    * Fixed boolean configuration options not being matched in a case
      insensitive way.

    * Fixed not using case insensitive comparisons for the DCCALLOW
      subcommands.

    * Fixed not using case insensitive matching when checking if a SSL
      rehash has been requested.

    * Fixed not using the ERR_INVALIDMODEPARAM numeric when not enough
      parameters are given to the snomask mode.

    * Fixed not using the RPL_REHASHING numeric for remote rehashes.

    * Fixed parsing CTCPs in the dccallow module.

    * Fixed prioritisation of custom events provided by modules.

    * Fixed spamming the log with DNS cache clearing notices when nothing
      was actually cleared.

    * Fixed status messages not working with the TAGMSG command.

    * Fixed the chanhistory module not storing message tags.

    * Fixed the chanhistory module not storing notices.

    * Fixed the chanhistory module storing CTCPs.

    * Fixed the legacy PROTOCTL NAMESX command not using case insensitive
      matching.

    * Fixed the legacy PROTOCTL UHNAMES command not using case insensitive
      matching.

    * Fixed the nationalchars module allowing nicknames which begin with a
      number.

    * Fixed the nationalchars module not rebuilding the 005 numerics on
      unload.

    * Fixed the nationalchars module not restoring the previous casemapping
      name on unload.

    * Fixed the systemd unit file starting InspIRCd before the network is
      online.

    * Fixed unnecessarily making N*2-1 too many copies of the command
      arguments when processing a command with multiple targets.

    * Improve the warning process when starting InspIRCd as root.

    * Improved the ban message shown to users if they are banned by an
      extban.

    * Improved the output when a port can not be bound.

    * Removed the preceding - from the MOTD, server operator MOTD, and any
      custom MOTDs added with the showfile module.

    * Renamed <chanhistory:notice> to <chanhistory:prefixmsg> so the
      behaviour is less ambiguous.

    * Replace the Windows getopt_long shim with the ya_getopt library.

    * Updated the example MOTD and server operator MOTD to be a bit prettier
      and show off some of the escape codes.

audio/fasttracker2: Update to v1.07

Changes since v1.06:

v1.07 - 30.01.2020
- Bugfix: After deleting the very last vol/pan envelope point, the currently
  selected point wouldn't be properly set. This is actually a behavior/bug
  from real FT2, but I wanted to fix it anyway.
- Bugfix: Attempting to add a vol/pan envelope point to a completely empty
  envelope would mess things up. Empty envelopes in an allocated instrument
  shouldn't happen, but it happens when loading certain non-FT2 XMs.
- Bugfix: The envelope plotter could display garbage on envelopes with tick
  offsets above 324. Now it just cuts off at the end instead. Also yes, such
  envelopes can be made! OpenMPT, f.ex., has no 0..324 limit for envelope ticks
  in XM mode.
- Bugfix: A couple of system request dialogs had the wrong button captions.
  (Yes/No instead of OK/Cancel).
- When pressing Esc. and the song is unmodified/saved, you'll now get the
  classic joke quit dialogs from FT2 asking if you really want to quit.
- Some minor optimizations and minor fixups. Nothing to write home about...
- Windows 32-bit: This version now requires your CPU to have the SSE2
  instruction set. Intel CPUs from around 2000 (AMD around 2003) and later
  have it. In other words, it's not worth my time trying to make the clone
  run on such old machines!

tor: Update to 0.4.2.6

Changes:
0.4.2.6
-------
  This is the second stable release in the 0.4.2.x series. It backports
  several bugfixes from 0.4.3.1-alpha, including some that had affected
  the Linux seccomp2 sandbox or Windows services. If you're running with
  one of those configurations, you'll probably want to upgrade;
  otherwise, you should be fine with 0.4.2.5.

  o Major bugfixes (linux seccomp sandbox, backport from 0.4.3.1-alpha):
    - Correct how we use libseccomp. Particularly, stop assuming that
      rules are applied in a particular order or that more rules are
      processed after the first match. Neither is the case! In
      libseccomp <2.4.0 this lead to some rules having no effect.
      libseccomp 2.4.0 changed how rules are generated, leading to a
      different ordering, which in turn led to a fatal crash during
      startup. Fixes bug 29819; bugfix on 0.2.5.1-alpha. Patch by
      Peter Gerber.
    - Fix crash when reloading logging configuration while the
      experimental sandbox is enabled. Fixes bug 32841; bugfix on
      0.4.1.7. Patch by Peter Gerber.

  o Minor bugfixes (correctness checks, backport from 0.4.3.1-alpha):
    - Use GCC/Clang's printf-checking feature to make sure that
      tor_assertf() arguments are correctly typed. Fixes bug 32765;
      bugfix on 0.4.1.1-alpha.

  o Minor bugfixes (logging, crash, backport from 0.4.3.1-alpha):
    - Avoid a possible crash when trying to log a (fatal) assertion
      failure about mismatched magic numbers in configuration objects.
      Fixes bug 32771; bugfix on 0.4.2.1-alpha.

  o Minor bugfixes (testing, backport from 0.4.3.1-alpha):
    - When TOR_DISABLE_PRACTRACKER is set, do not apply it to the
      test_practracker.sh script. Doing so caused a test failure. Fixes
      bug 32705; bugfix on 0.4.2.1-alpha.
    - When TOR_DISABLE_PRACTRACKER is set, log a notice to stderr when
      skipping practracker checks. Fixes bug 32705; bugfix
      on 0.4.2.1-alpha.

  o Minor bugfixes (windows service, backport from 0.4.3.1-alpha):
    - Initialize the publish/subscribe system when running as a windows
      service. Fixes bug 32778; bugfix on 0.4.1.1-alpha.

  o Testing (backport from 0.4.3.1-alpha):
    - Turn off Tor's Sandbox in Chutney jobs, and run those jobs on
      Ubuntu Bionic. Turning off the Sandbox is a work-around, until we
      fix the sandbox errors in 32722. Closes ticket 32240.
    - Re-enable the Travis CI macOS Chutney build, but don't let it
      prevent the Travis job from finishing. (The Travis macOS jobs are
      slow, so we don't want to have it delay the whole CI process.)
      Closes ticket 32629.

  o Testing (continuous integration, backport from 0.4.3.1-alpha):
    - Use zstd in our Travis Linux builds. Closes ticket 32242.

Updated devel/py-wheel, www/py-WebOb

(adam)

2020-01-29 22:47:02 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

py-WebOb: updated to 1.8.6

1.8.6:

Experimental Features

- The SameSite value now includes a new option named "None", this is a new
  change that was introduced in
  https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-west-cookie-incrementalism-00

  Please be aware that older clients are incompatible with this change:
  https://www.chromium.org/updates/same-site/incompatible-clients, WebOb does
  not enable SameSite on cookies by default, so there is no backwards
  incompatible change here.

- Validation of SameSite values can be disabled by toggling a module flag. This
  is in anticipation of future changes in evolving cookie standards.
  The discussion in https://github.com/Pylons/webob/pull/407 (which initially
  expanded the allowed options) notes the sudden change to browser cookie
  implementation details may happen again.

  In May 2019, Google announced a new model for privacy controls in their
  browsers, which affected the list of valid options for the SameSite attribute
  of cookies. In late 2019, the company began to roll out these changes to their
  browsers to force developer adoption of the new specification.
  See https://www.chromium.org/updates/same-site and
  https://blog.chromium.org/2019/10/developers-get-ready-for-new.html for more
  details on this change.

py-last: updated to 3.2.0

3.2.0:
Added
* Support for Python 3.8
* Store album art URLs when you call `GetTopAlbums`
* Retry paging through results on exception
* More error status codes from https://last.fm/api/errorcodes
Changed
* Respect `get_recent_tracks`' limit when there's a now playing track
* Move installable code to `src/`
* Update `get_weekly_artist_charts` docstring: only for `User`

3.1.0:
Added
* Extract username from session via new
  `SessionKeyGenerator.get_web_auth_session_key_username`
* `User.get_track_scrobbles`
Deprecated
*  `User.get_artist_tracks`. Use `User.get_track_scrobbles` as a partial replacement.

3.0.0:
Added
* This changelog file
Removed
* Support for Python 2.7
* Constants `COVER_SMALL`, `COVER_MEDIUM`, `COVER_LARGE`, `COVER_EXTRA_LARGE`
  and `COVER_MEGA`. Use `SIZE_SMALL` etc. instead.

py-test-random-order: added version 1.0.4

pytest-random-order is a pytest plugin that randomises the order of tests. This
can be useful to detect a test that passes just because it happens to run after
an unrelated test that leaves the system in a favourable state.

The plugin allows user to control the level of randomness they want to
introduce and to disable reordering on subsets of tests. Tests can be rerun in
a specific order by passing a seed value reported in a previous test run.
