Update glib2 to 2.54.1

glib-genmarshal and glib-menums have been ported to python. To keep
glib2 a python-free zone, these have been moved with gdbus-codegen
to py-glib2-tools.

Packages needing one of those tools to build can include
devel/glib2/buildtools.mk

The licence has been changed from LGPLv2+ to LGPLv2.1+.

A full changelog is available at:

doc: Updated shells/zsh to 5.4.2

(jperkin)

2017-10-13 09:35:19 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

zsh: Upgrade to 5.4.2

pkgsrc changes:
- Use PRINT_PLIST_AWK to aid future upgrades.
- Support the "static" option on Darwin and SunOS.

Upstream changes from 5.3.1 to 5.4:

The 'exec' and 'command' precommand modifiers, and options to them, are
now parsed after parameter expansion.  Previously, both the modifier and
any options to it were parsed between alias expansion and parameter
expansion (see zshexpn(1)), so they could neither be quoted nor be the
result of parameter expansion.  Examples: 's=command; $s -V ls' and
'\command -V ls' now work as expected.

Functions executed by ZLE widgets no longer have their standard input
closed, but redirected from /dev/null instead. That still guards
against user defined widgets inadvertently reading from the tty device.

There is an option WARN_NESTED_VAR, a companion to the existing
WARN_CREATE_GLOBAL that causes a warning if a function updates a
variable from an enclosing scope without using typeset -g.  It can be
turned on for an individual function with "functions -W".

zmodload now has an option -s to be silent on a failure to find a module
but still print other errors.

2017-10-13 06:53:24 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

dovecot2-pigeonhole: update to 0.4.21

v0.4.21:

* redirect action: Always set the X-Sieve-Redirected-From header to
sieve_user_email if configured. Before, it would use the envelope recipient
instead if available, which makes no sense if the primary e-mail address is
  available.
+ vacation extension: Allow ignoring the envelope sender while composing the
"To:" header for the reply. Normally, the "To:" header is composed from
the address found in the "Sender", "Resent-From" or "From" headers that is
equal to the envelope sender. If none is then found, the bare envelope
sender is used. This change adds a new setting
"sieve_vacation_to_header_ignore_envelope". With this setting enabled, the
"To:" header is always composed from those headers in the source message.
The new setting thus allows ignoring the envelope, which is useful e.g.
  when SRS is used.
+ vacation extension: Compose the "To:" header from the full sender address
found in the first "Sender:", "From:" or "Resent-From:" header. Before, it
would create a "To:" header without a phrase part. The new behavior is
nicer, since the reply will be addressed to the sender by name if possible.
- LDA Sieve plugin: Fixed sequential execution of LDAP-based scripts. A
missing LDAP-based script could cause the script sequence to exit earlier.
- sieve-filter: Removed the (now) duplicate utf8 to mutf7 mailbox name
conversion. This caused problems with mailbox names containing UTF-8
characters. The Dovecot API was changed years ago, but apparently
  sieve-filter was never updated.

-fixed the module to work properly even with DB drivers that
do not support parameter array binding (issue 1154)
* CsvUtil module fixes:
-fixed a bug in an error message validating input data
    (issue 1062)

found, an error message is generated that contains all the
columns names instead of just the column names required by the
    index (issue 1013)
* WebSocketClient module fixes:
-fixed a thread lock starvation race condition (issue 2130)
* UTF-16 fixes:
-fixed a bug comparing strings in UTF-16 encodings (issue 1579)

MPFR_DECL_INIT() is compiled incorrectly with -O1 or greater
  (issue 958)
* fixed a bug causing an infinite loop in decompression functions
  (issue 966)
* fixed an issue where an internal C++ API
  (QoreProgram::parseCmdLineDefines()) performed a needless copy
of a data structure (issue 1099)
* fixed a stack corruption bug with asynchronous I/O on UNIX
systems with ReadOnlyFile methods (issue 1106)
* fixed bugs with inconsistent conversions of int, float, and
boolean values to date/time values, now they are all converted
uniformly to relative date/time values (issue 1156)
* fixed a bug where Qore allowed code to be declared both public
and private without a warning (issue 1187)
* fixed a bug where the instanceof operator would return True with
objects that did not publically inherit the given class or where
the given class is not accessible (issue 1191)
* fixed a bug in qpp support of the 'final' class flag (issue 1222)
* fixed a bug where the + operator provided access to private
members from outside the class (issue 1209)
* fixed a bug where different overloaded method variant resolution
rules were used at parse time (best match in hierarchy) and
runtime (best match in first matching class) in a class hierarchy
  (issue 1229)
* fixed a bug where exceptions in base class constructor calls did
not reflect the actual source location (issue 1230)
* fixed a bug where runtime function/method variant matching was
incorrectly biased towards default matches for missing arguments
  (issue 1231)
* fixed bugs where calls to Socket::upgradeClientToSSL() and
Socket::upgradeServerToSSL() were ignored with no exception
thrown if the socket was not connected (issue 1258)
* fixed a bug where a closure created in an object scope could not be
called if the object had been deleted, even if the closure did not
refer to the object (issue 1303)
* fixed a bug where ord() would return negative numbers for bytes
with the high bit set with compilers where char is the same as
  signed char (issue 1385)
* fixed a bug where int(number) returned rounded value instead of the
integer part (while int(float) behaved correctly; also
cf. initializing a softint value from a number vs. from a float)
  (issue 1463)
* File::read() now uses character semantics for the length argument
  (issue 1548)
* fixed a bug with strongly-typed lvalue assignments with classes
created in different Program objects (issue 1551)

encoding and with diacritics could incorrectly be marked as equal
  (issue 1579)
* fixed bugs in HTTPClient methods where string message bodies were
not converted to the object's character encoding before transmission
  (issue 1813)
* fixed a bug in the reference and *reference assignment restrictions;
previously any value was accepted, now only references are accepted
as the initial assignment values (issue 1819)
* fixed a bug in handling the SqlUtil::BLOB type in the FreetdsSqlUtil
  module (issue 1852)
* fixed a bug in overloaded call variant matching where missing
arguments were counted towards the match (issue 1897)
* fixed many bugs where parse-time errors could be reported at an
incorrect source location; parse-time error location reporting has
been completely overhauled and reimplemented for correctness
  (issue 1930)
* fixed a bug where code signatures would accept parameter variables
without "$" signs even when %allow-bare-refs was not in effect
  (issue 1941)
* fixed memory leaks in the scanner related to EOF conditions
  (issue 1976)
* rewrote Qore functions gethostbyname(), gethostbyname_long() and
gethostbyaddr() to use standard C functions getaddrinfo(3) and
getnameinfo(3) internally instead of the deprecated gethostbyname(3)
  and gethostbyaddr(3) (issue 1952)
* fixed cmake builds on Darwin (issue 1980)
* fixed a bug where immediate date-time values were not marked with
their type at parse time (issue 2001)
* fixed a bug where the *data type restriction would allow all types
to be assigned at runtime (issue 2002)
* Qore::RangeIterator::constructor(int) and Qore::xrange(int) were
updated; the second arguments were removed to avoid ambiguity with
the other overloaded variants (issue 2016)
* fixed a bug where Qore::replace() could get in an infinite loop
with arguments with embededed nulls (issue 2098)
* fixed a bug in regular expression extraction where an infinite loop
  could occur (issue 2083)
* fixed a bug where a call reference to an object method that crosses
Program boundaries could result in a core dump when called due to an
error managing thread-local data (issue 2145)
* fixed crashes in scanner due to EOF in comments (issue 2175)

py-paramiko: update to 2.3.1

2.3.1:
[Bug] 1071: Certificate support broke the no-certificate case for Ed25519 keys (symptom is an AttributeError about public_blob.) This went uncaught due to cert autoload behavior (i.e. our test suite never actually ran the no-cert case, because the cert existed!) Both issues have been fixed. Thanks to John Hu for the report.

PyNaCl is a Python binding to libsodium, which is a fork of the Networking and
Cryptography library. These libraries have a stated goal of improving
usability, security and speed.

libsodium: update to 1.0.15

Version 1.0.15
- The default password hashing algorithm is now Argon2id. The
`pwhash_str_verify()` function can still verify Argon2i hashes
without any changes, and `pwhash()` can still compute Argon2i hashes
as well.
- The aes128ctr primitive was removed. It was slow, non-standard, not
authenticated, and didn't seem to be used by any opensource project.
- Argon2id required at least 3 passes like Argon2i, despite a minimum
of `1` as defined by the `OPSLIMIT_MIN` constant. This has been fixed.
- The secretstream construction was slightly changed to be consistent
with forthcoming variants.
- The Javascript and Webassembly versions have been merged, and the
module now returns a `.ready` promise that will resolve after the
Webassembly code is loaded and compiled.
- Note that due to these incompatible changes, the library version
major was bumped up.

Updated mail/dovecot2 to 2.2.33.1

(adam)

2017-10-12 10:34:28 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

dovecot2: update to 2.2.33.1

v2.2.33.1:
- dovecot-lda was logging to stderr instead of to the log file.

v2.2.33:
* doveadm director commands wait for the changes to be visible in the
whole ring before they return. This is especially useful in testing.
* Environments listed in import_environment setting are now set or
preserved when executing standalone commands (e.g. doveadm)

+ doveadm proxy: Support proxying logs. Previously the logs were
visible only in the backend's logs.
+ Added %{if}, see https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Variables#Conditionals
+ Added a new notify_status plugin, which can be used to update dict
with current status of a mailbox when it changes. See
  https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Plugins/NotifyStatus
+ Mailbox list index can be disabled for a namespace by appending
  ":LISTINDEX=" to location setting.
+ dsync/imapc: Added dsync_hashed_headers setting to specify which
headers are used to match emails.
+ pop3-migration: Add pop3_migration_ignore_extra_uidls=yes to ignore
mails that are visible in POP3 but not IMAP. This could happen if
new mails were delivered during the migration run.
+ pop3-migration: Further improvements to help with Zimbra
+ pop3-migration: Cache POP3 UIDLs in imapc's dovecot.index.cache
if indexes are enabled. These are used to optimize incremental syncs.
+ cassandra, dict-sql: Use prepared statements if protocol version>3.
+ auth: Added %{ldap_dn} variable for passdb/userdb ldap
- acl: The "create" (k) permission in global acl-file was sometimes
ignored, allowing users to create mailboxes when they shouldn't have.
- sdbox: Mails were always opened when expunging, unless
mail_attachment_fs was explicitly set to empty.
- lmtp/doveadm proxy: hostip passdb field was ignored, which caused
unnecessary DNS lookups if host field wasn't an IP
- lmtp proxy: Fix crash when receiving unexpected reply in RCPT TO
- quota_clone: Update also when quota is unlimited (broken in v2.2.31)
- mbox, zlib: Fix assert-crash when accessing compressed mbox
- doveadm director kick -f parameter didn't work
- doveadm director flush <host> resulted flushing all hosts, if <host>
  wasn't an IP address.
- director: Various fixes to handling backend/director changes at
abnormal times, especially while ring was unsynced. These could have
resulted in crashes, non-optimal behavior or ignoring some of the
  changes.
- director: Use less CPU in imap-login processes when moving/kicking
  many users.
- lmtp: Session IDs were duplicated/confusing with multiple RCPT TOs
  when lmtp_rcpt_check_quota=yes
- doveadm sync -1 fails when local mailboxes exist that do not exist
remotely. This commonly happened when lazy_expunge mailbox was
autocreated when incremental sync expunged mails.
- pop3: rawlog_dir setting didn't work

py-cryptography[_vectors]: update to 2.1.1

2.1:
FINAL DEPRECATION Python 2.6 support is deprecated, and will be removed in the next release of cryptography.
BACKWARDS INCOMPATIBLE: Whirlpool, RIPEMD160, and UnsupportedExtension have been removed in accordance with our :doc:`/api-stability` policy.
BACKWARDS INCOMPATIBLE: :attr:`~cryptography.x509.DNSName.value`, :attr:`~cryptography.x509.RFC822Name.value`, and :attr:`~cryptography.x509.UniformResourceIdentifier.value` will now return an :term:`A-label` string when parsing a certificate containing an internationalized domain name (IDN) or if the caller passed a :term:`U-label` to the constructor. See below for additional deprecations related to this change.
Installing cryptography now requires pip 6 or newer.
Deprecated passing :term:`U-label` strings to the :class:`~cryptography.x509.DNSName`, :class:`~cryptography.x509.UniformResourceIdentifier`, and :class:`~cryptography.x509.RFC822Name` constructors. Instead, users should pass values as :term:`A-label` strings with idna encoding if necessary. This change will not affect anyone who is not processing internationalized domains.
Added support for :class:`~cryptography.hazmat.primitives.ciphers.algorithms.ChaCha20`. In most cases users should choose :class:`~cryptography.hazmat.primitives.ciphers.aead.ChaCha20Poly1305` rather than using this unauthenticated form.
Added :meth:`~cryptography.x509.CertificateRevocationList.is_signature_valid` to :class:`~cryptography.x509.CertificateRevocationList`.
Support :class:`~cryptography.hazmat.primitives.hashes.BLAKE2b` and :class:`~cryptography.hazmat.primitives.hashes.BLAKE2s` with :class:`~cryptography.hazmat.primitives.hmac.HMAC`.
Added support for :class:`~cryptography.hazmat.primitives.ciphers.modes.XTS` mode for AES.
Added support for using labels with :class:`~cryptography.hazmat.primitives.asymmetric.padding.OAEP` when using OpenSSL 1.0.2 or greater.
Improved compatibility with NSS when issuing certificates from an issuer that has a subject with non-UTF8String string types.
Add support for the :class:`~cryptography.x509.DeltaCRLIndicator` extension.
Add support for the :class:`~cryptography.x509.TLSFeature` extension. This is commonly used for enabling OCSP Must-Staple in certificates.
Add support for the :class:`~cryptography.x509.FreshestCRL` extension.

tmux: Update misc/tmux to 2.6

Changes:
CHANGES FROM 2.5 TO 2.6, 05 October 2017
* Add select-pane -T to set pane title.
* Fix memory leak when lines with BCE are removed from history.
* Fix (again) the "prefer unattached" behaviour of attach-session.
* Reorder how keys are checked to allow keys to be specified that have a
  leading escape. GitHub issue 1048.
* Support REP escape sequence (\033[b).
* Run alert hooks based on options rather than always, and allow further bells
even if there is an existing bell.
* Add -d flag to display-panes to override display-panes-time.
* Add selection_present format when in copy mode (allows key bindings that do
something different if there is a selection).
* Add pane_at_left, pane_at_right, pane_at_top and pane_at_bottom formats.
* Make bell, activity and silence alerting more consistent by: removing the
bell-on-alert option; adding activity-action and silence-action options with
the same possible values as the existing bell-action; adding a "both" value
for the visual-bell, visual-activity and visual-silence options to trigger
both a bell and a message.
* Add a pane_pipe format to show if pipe-pane is active.
* Block signals between forking and resetting signal handlers so that the
libevent signal handler doesn't get called in the child and incorrectly write
into the signal pipe that it still shares with the parent. GitHub issue 1001.
* Allow punctuation in pane_current_command.
* Add -c for respawn-pane and respawn-window.
* Wait for any remaining data to flush when a pane is closed while pipe-pane is
  in use.
* Fix working out current client with no target. GitHub issue 995.
* Try to fallback to C.UTF-8 as well as en_US.UTF-8 when looking for a UTF-8
  locale.
* Add user-keys option for user-defined key escape sequences (mapped to User0
  to User999 keys).
* Add pane-set-clipboard hook.
* FAQ file has moved out of repository to online.
* Fix problem with high CPU usage when a client dies unexpectedly. GitHub issue
  941.
* Do a dance on OS X 10.10 and above to return tmux to the user namespace,
  allowing access to the clipboard.
* Do not allow escape sequences which expect a specific terminator (APC, DSC,
OSC) to wait for forever - use a small timeout. This reduces the chance of
the pane locking up completely when sent garbage (cat /dev/random or
  similar).
* Support SIGUSR2 to toggle logging on a running server, also generate the
"out" log file with -vv not -vvvv.
* Make set-clipboard a three state option: on (tmux both sends to outside
terminal and accepts from applications inside); external (tmux sends outside
but does not accept inside); and off.
* Fix OSC 4 palette setting for bright foreground colours. GitHub issue 954.
* Use setrgbf and setrgbb terminfo(5) capabilities to set RGB colours, if they
are available. (Tc is still supported as well.)
* Fix redrawing panes when they are resized several times but end up with the
size unchanged (for example, splitw/resizep -Z/breakp).
* Major rewrite of choose mode. Now includes preview, sorting, searching and
tagging; commands that can be executed directly from the mode (for example,
to delete one or more buffers); and filtering in tree mode.
* choose-window and choose-session are now aliases of choose-tree (in the
  command-alias option).
* Support OSC 10 and OSC 11 to set foreground and background colours.
* Check the U8 capability to determine whether to use UTF-8 line drawing
  characters for ACS.
* Some missing notifications for layout changes.
* Control mode clients now do not affect session sizes until they issue
  refresh-client -C. new-session -x and -y works with control clients even if
  the session is not detached.
* All new sessions that are unattached (whether with -d or started with no
terminal) are now created with size 80 x 24. Whether the status line is on or
off does not affect the size of new sessions until they are attached.
* Expand formats in option names and add -F flag to expand them in option values.
* Remember the search string for a pane even if copy mode is exited and entered
  again.
* Some further BCE fixes (scroll up, reverse index).
* Improvements to how terminals are cleared (entirely or partially).

Initial import of R-curl v3.0 from CRAN.

The curl() and curl_download() functions provide highly configurable
drop-in replacements for base url() and download.file() with better
performance, support for encryption (https, ftps), gzip compression,
authentication, and other 'libcurl' goodies. The core of the package
implements a framework for performing fully customized requests where
data can be processed either in memory, on disk, or streaming via the
callback or connection interfaces.

lang/go: security update

Revisions pulled up:

  Module Name:    pkgsrc
  Committed By:  bsiegert
  Date:          Fri Oct  6 18:38:25 UTC 2017

  Modified Files:
          pkgsrc/lang/go: distinfo version.mk

  Log Message:
Update Go to 1.9.1 (security fix).

Two security-related issues were recently reported.
To address this issue, we have just released Go 1.8.4 and Go 1.9.1.

We recommend that all users update to one of these releases (if you're
  not sure
  which, choose Go 1.9.1).

The issues addressed by these releases are:

By nesting a git checkout inside another version control repository, it was
possible for an attacker to trick the "go get" command into executing
  arbitrary
code. The go command now refuses to use version control checkouts found
  inside
other version control systems, with an exception for git submodules (git
  inside
  git).
The issue is tracked as https://golang.org/issue/22125 (Go 1.8.4) and
https://golang.org/issue/22131 (Go 1.9.1). Fixes are linked from the issues.
Thanks to Simon Rawet for the report.

In the smtp package, PlainAuth is documented as sending credentials only
  over
authenticated, encrypted TLS connections, but it was changed in Go 1.1
  to also
send credentials on non-TLS connections when the remote server
  advertises that
PLAIN authentication is supported. The change was meant to allow use of
  PLAIN
authentication on localhost, but it has the effect of allowing a
man-in-the-middle attacker to harvest credentials. PlainAuth now requires
either TLS or a localhost connection before sending credentials,
  regardless of
  what the remote server claims.
This issue is tracked as https://golang.org/issue/22134 (Go 1.8.4) and
https://golang.org/issue/22133 (Go 1.9.1). Fixes are linked from the issues.
Thanks to Stevie Johnstone for the report.
