Only perform the CHECK_WRKREF_EXTRA_DIRS check on the resolved path rather
than on all of the rpaths.  We can't always exclude the rpath being added,
for example when the compiler adds its own behind our back, so this avoids
false positives.

Updated multimedia/x265 to 2.4

(adam)

2017-04-25 18:29:57 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Version 2.4
===========

Encoder enhancements
--------------------
1. HDR10+ supported. Dynamic metadata may be either supplied as a bitstream via the userSEI field of x265_picture, or as a json jile that can be parsed by x265 and inserted into the bitstream; use :option:`--dhdr10-info` to specify json file name, and :option:`--dhdr10-opt` to enable optimization of inserting tone-map information only at IDR frames, or when the tone map information changes.
2. Lambda tables for 8, 10, and 12-bit encoding revised, resulting in significant enhancement to subjective  visual quality.
3. Enhanced HDR10 encoding with HDR-specific QP optimzations for chroma, and luma planes of WCG content enabled; use :option:`--hdr-opt` to activate.
4. Ability to accept analysis information from other previous encodes (that may or may not be x265), and selectively reuse and refine analysis for encoding subsequent passes enabled with the :option:`--refine-level` option.
5. Slow and veryslow presets receive a 20% speed boost at iso-quality by enabling the :option:`--limit-tu` option.
6. The bitrate target for x265 can now be dynamically reconfigured via the reconfigure API.
7. Performance optimized SAO algorithm introduced via the :option:`--limit-sao` option; seeing 10% speed benefits at faster presets.

API changes
-----------
1. x265_reconfigure API now also accepts rate-control parameters for dynamic reconfiguration.
2. Several additions to data fields in x265_analysis to support :option:`--refine-level`: see x265.h for more details.

Bug fixes
---------
1. Avoid negative offsets in x265 lambda2 table with SAO enabled.
2. Fix mingw32 build error.
3. Seek now enabled for pipe input, in addition to file-based input
4. Fix issue of statically linking core-utils not working in linux.
5. Fix visual artifacts with :option:`--multi-pass-opt-distortion` with VBV.
6. Fix bufferFill stats reported in csv.

textproc/icu: security fix (backported)

ICU had a vulnerability (CVE-2017-786[78])
Unfortunately they fixed it by doing a major release and have previously
broken other packages at runtime with such updates.

I've made backports of all the changesets that were mentioned in any of
the links, specifically the oss-fuzz report was somewhat broad and
mentioned 39673 which backported several 'crash' changesets:
http://bugs.icu-project.org/trac/changeset/39663
http://bugs.icu-project.org/trac/changeset/39669
http://bugs.icu-project.org/trac/changeset/39671

The advisory only references code changes relevant to 39671, we could
limit the backport to that.
security/2017/dsa-3830">https://www.debian.org/security/2017/dsa-3830

I've run make replace and smoke-tested with midori
they have a rather extensive testsuite. I've run it with 'make test' and
it didn't show any issues.

These are manual backports by myself as the patches did not apply
cleanly.

Updated mail/postfix to 3.2.0

(fhajny)

2017-04-24 20:11:40 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update mail/postfix to 3.2.0.

- Elliptic curve negotiation with OpenSSL >= 1.0.2. This changes the
  default smtpd_tls_eecdh_grade setting to "auto", and introduces a
  new parameter tls_eecdh_auto_curves with the names of curves that may
  be negotiated.
- Stored-procedure support for MySQL databases.
- Cidr: table support for if/endif and negation (by prepending ! to a
  pattern), just like regexp: and pcre: tables. See the cidr_table(5)
  manpage for details.
- The postmap command and the inline: and texthash: maps now support
  spaces in left-hand field of lookup table source text. Use double
  quotes (") around a left-hand field that contains spaces, and use
  backslash (\) to protect quotes in a left-hand field.
- Support for per-client Milter configuration (smtpd_milter_maps) that
  overrides the main.cf smtpd_milters setting, and that has the same
  syntax. A lookup result of "DISABLE" turns off Milter support for that
  client.
- The local SMTP server IP address and port are available in the
  policy delegation protocol (attribute names: server_address,
  server_port), in the Milter protocol (macro names: {daemon_addr},
  {daemon_port}), and in the XCLIENT protocol (attribute names:
  DESTADDR, DESTPORT).
- For safety reasons, the Postfix sendmail -C option must specify an
  authorized directory: the default configuration directory, a
  directory that is listed in the default main.cf file with
  alternate_config_directories or multi_instance_directories, otherwise
  the command must be invoked with root privileges. This mitigates a
  recurring "jail break" problem with the PHP mail() function.
- "PASS" and "STRIP" actions in header/body_checks. "STRIP" is similar
  to "IGNORE" but also logs the action, and "PASS" disables header,
  body, and Milter inspection for the remainder of the message content.
- The collate.pl script by Viktor Dukhovni for grouping Postfix
  logfile records into "sessions" based on queue ID and process ID
  information, in the auxiliary/collate directory of the Postfix source
  tree.

Disabled or removed behavior:
- SMTPUTF8 support: Postfix 3.2 disables the 'transitional'
  compatibility between the IDNA2003 and IDNA2008 standards for
  internationalized domain names (domain names beyond the limits of
  US-ASCII). This makes Postfix behavior consistent with contemporary
  web browsers.
- Postfix 3.2 removes tentative features that were implemented before
  the DANE spec was finalized: support for certificate usage
  PKIX-EE(1), the ability to disable digest agility, and the ability to
  disable support for "TLSA 2 [01] [12]" records that specify the digest
  of a trust anchor.

Update ipython to 5.3.0

IPython 4.0
===========

Released August, 2015

IPython 4.0 is the first major release after the Big Split.
IPython no longer contains the notebook, qtconsole, etc. which have moved to
jupyter <https://jupyter.readthedocs.io>.
IPython subprojects, such as IPython.parallel and widgets have moved to their
own repos as well

IPython 5.0
===========

Released July 7, 2016

New terminal interface
----------------------

IPython 5 features a major upgrade to the terminal interface, bringing live
syntax highlighting as you type, proper multiline editing and multiline paste,
and tab completions that don't clutter up your history.

.. image:: ../_images/ptshell_features.png
    :alt: New terminal interface features
    :align: center
    :target: ../_images/ptshell_features.png

These features are provided by the Python library prompt_toolkit,
which replaces ``readline`` throughout our terminal interface.

Relying on this pure-Python, cross platform module also makes it simpler to
install IPython. We have removed dependencies on ``pyreadline`` for Windows and
``gnureadline`` for Mac.

Backwards incompatible changes
------------------------------

- The ``%install_ext`` magic function, deprecated since 4.0, has now been deleted.
  You can distribute and install extensions as packages on PyPI.
- Callbacks registered while an event is being handled will now only be called
  for subsequent events; previously they could be called for the current event.
  Similarly, callbacks removed while handling an event *will* always get that
  event.
- Integration with pydb has been removed since pydb development has been stopped
  since 2012, and pydb is not installable from PyPI.
- The ``autoedit_syntax`` option has apparently been broken for many years.
  It has been removed.

IPython 5.3
===========

Released on January 29th, 2017. Remarkable changes and fixes:

* Fix a bug in ``set_next_input`` leading to a crash of terminal IPython.
* Always wait for editor inputhook for terminal IPython
* Disable ``_ipython_display_`` in terminal
* Update terminal colors to be more visible by default on windows
* Add Ctrl-Z shortcut (suspend) in terminal debugger
* Indent on new line by looking at the text before the cursor
* Update QtEventloop integration to fix some matplotlib integration issues
* Respect completions display style in terminal debugger
* Add a config option ``TerminalInteractiveShell.extra_open_editor_shortcuts``
  to enable extra shortcuts to open the input in an editor. These are :kbd:`v`
  in vi mode, and :kbd:`C-X C-E` in emacs mode
  The :kbd:`F2` shortcut is always enabled.

* Supports html5lib >= 0.99999999 (8 9s).

* There's a ``bleach.sanitizer.Cleaner`` class that you can instantiate with your
  favorite clean settings for easy reuse.

* There's a ``bleach.linkifier.Linker`` class that you can instantiate with your
  favorite linkify settings for easy reuse.

* There's a ``bleach.linkifier.LinkifyFilter`` which is an htm5lib filter that
  you can pass as a filter to ``bleach.sanitizer.Cleaner`` allowing you to clean
  and linkify in one pass.

* ``bleach.clean`` and friends can now take a callable as an attributes arg value.

* Tons of bug fixes.

* Cleaned up tests.

* Documentation fixes.

Add py-terminado 0.6

This is a Tornado websocket backend for the term.js Javascript terminal emulator
library.

It evolved out of pyxterm, which was part of GraphTerm (as lineterm.py),
v0.57.0 (2014-07-18), and ultimately derived from the public-domain Ajaxterm
code, v0.11 (2008-11-13) (also on Github as part of QWeb).

Add py-ptyprocess 0.5.1

Launch a subprocess in a pseudo terminal (pty), and interact with both
the process and its pty.

Sometimes, piping stdin and stdout is not enough. There might be a
password prompt that doesn窶冲 read from stdin, output that changes when
it窶冱 going to a pipe rather than a terminal, or curses-style
interfaces that rely on a terminal. If you need to automate these
things, running the process in a pseudo terminal (pty) is the answer.

Add py-simplegeneric 0.8.1

The simplegeneric module lets you define simple single-dispatch generic
functions, akin to Python's built-in generic functions like len(), iter()
and so on. However, instead of using specially-named methods,these
generic functions use simple lookup tables, akin to those used by e.g.
pickle.dump() and other generic functions found in
the Python standard library

Add py-pickleshare 0.7.4

PickleShare - a small shelve like datastore with concurrency support
Like shelve, a PickleShareDB object acts like a normal dictionary
Unlike shelve, many processes can access the database simultaneously
Changing a value in database is immediately visible to other processes
accessing the same database

Add cloc 1.72

cloc counts blank lines, comment lines, and physical lines of source
code in many programming languages, with the following features:

  * Reads user-supplied language comment definition files
  * Allows results from multiple runs to be summed together by
    language and by project.
  * Produces results in a variety of formats: plain text, XML, YAML,
    CSV.
  * Counts code within compressed archives (tarballs, Zip files, Java
    .ear files).
  * Has numerous troubleshooting options.
  * Handles file and directory names with spaces and other unusual
    characters.

Updated py-setuptools to 35.0.1.

v35.0.1

    #992: Revert change introduced in v34.4.1, now considered invalid.
    #1016: Revert change introduced in v35.0.0 per #1014, referencing #436. The approach had unintended consequences, causing sdist installs to be missing files.

Updated textproc/icu to 59.1; emulators/qemu to 2.9.0

Changes 2.9.0:

== Warning of unsupported host systems ==
This release includes changes to the configure script so that it will now report some host operating systems and
platforms as "unsupported". These are host setups which we do not have access to and are thus unable to test. They will continue to work in this 2.9 release (though configure will warn you about the unsupported status), but in a future QEMU release we may drop support for those hosts unless somebody volunteers to help us with maintaining them (and can provide build/CI machines).

This affects the CPU architectures:
* ia64
and the OSes:
* GNU/kFreeBSD
* DragonFly BSD
* NetBSD
* OpenBSD
* Solaris
* AIX
* Haiku

== System emulation ==
=== Incompatible changes ===
* Improvements to "-drive":
** "-drive"'s <tt>if</tt> option defaults to "none" on machines that do not have an onboard IDE or SCSI controller.
** "-drive if=scsi" does not work anymore with PC machine types, as it created an obsolete SCSI controller model. QEMU supports better controllers (megasas, mptsas, virtio-scsi) but which to use depends on the guest you are using.
** "Orphan" -drive options, where an <tt>if</tt> option is not supported by the emulated machine (e.g. "if=mtd" on x86) is now a fatal error. It had been triggering a warning since version 2.2.
=== Future incompatible changes ===
* Three options are using different names on the command line and in configuration file.  In particular:
** The "acpi" configuration file section matches command-line option "acpitable";
** The "boot-opts" configuration file section matches command-line option "boot";
** The "smp-opts" configuration file section matches command-line option "smp".
:-readconfig will standardize on the name for the command line option.
* Behavior of automatic calculation of SMP topology when some SMP topology options for -smp are omitted (sockets, cores, threads) will change in the future. If guest ABI needs to be preserved on upgrades while using the SMP topology options, users should either set set all options explicitly (sockets, cores, threads), or omit all of them.
* Devices "allwinner-a10", "pc87312", "ssi-sd" will be configured with explicit properties instead of implicitly.  This is unlikely to affect users.
* For x86, specifying a CPUID feature with both "+feature/-feature" and "feature=on/off" will cause a warning.  The current behavior for this combination ("+feature/-feature" wins over "feature=on/off") will be changed so that "+feature" and "-feature" will be synonyms for "feature=on" and "feature=off" respectively).

Changes 59.1:
* Emoji 5.0 data
* Includes bidi data files from Unicode 10 beta.
* Includes segmentation data files and rules from Unicode 10 beta and CLDR 31.0.1.
* Does not yet include the Emoji_Component property.
* Otherwise ICU 59 continues to use Unicode 9 data.
CLDR 31.0.1
* Including updates for emoji 5.0, for example local names for England, Scotland, and Wales.
* GMT and UTC are no longer unified, and CLDR provides distinct UTC display names, avoiding confusion with standard (winter) time in Britain.
* See the CLDR download page for other CLDR features and migration issues in CLDR v31.
New case mapping API (C++ & Java classes CaseMap) supports styled text.
