Updated www/spdylay to 1.4.0; www/nghttp2 to 1.19.0

(adam)

2017-01-26 20:44:27 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 1.19.0:
We fixed memory leak bug which only occurs in server side session. Client side sessions are not affected. This bug was detected by LLVM libFuzzer with HTTP/2 corpus that h2o
project uses. Due to the bad code path which nullifies next pointers of linked list in a certain condition, nghttp2_stream object is not going to be freed. We highly encourage to upgrade the existing installation to this latest version.

2017-01-26 20:43:12 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 1.4.0:
* Renew test key pair
* Fix OpenSSL 1.1.0 deprecation warnings
* spdylay: compile against openssl-1.1.0
It fails to compile against openssl 1.1.0 due to things like
  |shrpx_client_handler.cc:90:30: error: 'strerror' was not declared in this scope
  |shrpx_listen_handler.cc:112:32: error: 'memset' was not declared in this scope
  |shrpx_listen_handler.cc:114:43: error: 'memcpy' was not declared in this scope
  This resolves it.
* spdycat: Fix leak in SpdySession.reqvec
* Compile with IRIX 6.5.22 using GCC-4.7.4
* Remove CREDENTIAL frame processing completely
We just left API as is, but related functions just do nothing now.
* Allocate stream ID when spdylay_submit_{syn_stream,request} is called
This commit allocates stream ID when spdylay_submit_syn_stream and
spdylay_submit_request is called. Also create stream when
  spdylay_session_predicate_syn_stream_send is failed, to provide
stream to user callback (e.g., on_ctrl_not_send_callback).
Allocating stream ID early ensures that we can create stream because
we can catch stream ID exhaustion early and fail fast. Since stream
ID is allocated serially, we have to send SYN_STREAM in the order
they queued. So now all queued syn_stream have the same priority
(lowest). The DATA frame has given priority by application. This
does not work well with CREDENTIAL frame, since SYN_STREAM may wait
for CREDENTIAL, which results in out of order transmission. Since
CREDENTIAL frame was deprecated in SPDY/3.1, and no one use it, we
remove its functionality in the later commit.
* spdycat: --proxy-port, not --proxyport
* spdycat: Check :host header field for SNI, since Host header is not allowed
* spdycat: Update spdycat --help output for --header
* spdycat: Fix resource leak found by coverity scan

Updated to version 3.11.0.

Upstream Changelog :
- Add taboopat configuration directive to exclude configuration
  files based on globing patterns.
- Allow to change default state path at build time
(via the --with-state-file-path option of the configure script).
- Automatically determine resulting file suffix based on
  the compression program in use.
- Preserve SELinux context with compress and sharedscripts properly.
- Rename already existing output files to avoid collisions.
- Import systemd service and timer for logrotate from openSUSE.
- Introduce the addextension configuration directive.
- Create CONTRIBUTING.md with instructions for logrotate contributors.

these functions are available at build time.
- Fix parsing of su directive to accept usernames starting with
  numeric symbols.
- Make sure that 64-bit file offsets are used on 32-bit systems.

Updated security/openssl to 1.0.2k

(jperkin)

2017-01-26 16:31:57 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update security/openssl to 1.0.2k.

Changes between 1.0.2j and 1.0.2k [26 Jan 2017]

*) Truncated packet could crash via OOB read

If one side of an SSL/TLS path is running on a 32-bit host and a specific
cipher is being used, then a truncated packet can cause that host to
perform an out-of-bounds read, usually resulting in a crash.

This issue was reported to OpenSSL by Robert wicki of Google.
    (CVE-2017-3731)
    [Andy Polyakov]

*) BN_mod_exp may produce incorrect results on x86_64

There is a carry propagating bug in the x86_64 Montgomery squaring
procedure. No EC algorithms are affected. Analysis suggests that attacks
against RSA and DSA as a result of this defect would be very difficult to
perform and are not believed likely. Attacks against DH are considered just
feasible (although very difficult) because most of the work necessary to
deduce information about a private key may be performed offline. The amount
of resources required for such an attack would be very significant and
likely only accessible to a limited number of attackers. An attacker would
additionally need online access to an unpatched system using the target
private key in a scenario with persistent DH parameters and a private
key that is shared between multiple clients. For example this can occur by
default in OpenSSL DHE based SSL/TLS ciphersuites. Note: This issue is very
similar to CVE-2015-3193 but must be treated as a separate problem.

This issue was reported to OpenSSL by the OSS-Fuzz project.
    (CVE-2017-3732)
    [Andy Polyakov]

*) Montgomery multiplication may produce incorrect results

There is a carry propagating bug in the Broadwell-specific Montgomery
multiplication procedure that handles input lengths divisible by, but
longer than 256 bits. Analysis suggests that attacks against RSA, DSA
and DH private keys are impossible. This is because the subroutine in
question is not used in operations with the private key itself and an input
of the attacker's direct choice. Otherwise the bug can manifest itself as
transient authentication and key negotiation failures or reproducible
erroneous outcome of public-key operations with specially crafted input.
Among EC algorithms only Brainpool P-512 curves are affected and one
presumably can attack ECDH key negotiation. Impact was not analyzed in
detail, because pre-requisites for attack are considered unlikely. Namely
multiple clients have to choose the curve in question and the server has to
share the private key among them, neither of which is default behaviour.
Even then only clients that chose the curve will be affected.

This issue was publicly reported as transient failures and was not
initially recognized as a security issue. Thanks to Richard Morgan for
    providing reproducible case.
    (CVE-2016-7055)
    [Andy Polyakov]

*) OpenSSL now fails if it receives an unrecognised record type in TLS1.0
or TLS1.1. Previously this only happened in SSLv3 and TLS1.2. This is to
prevent issues where no progress is being made and the peer continually
sends unrecognised record types, using up resources processing them.
    [Matt Caswell]

Updated emulators/stella to 4.7.3

(mef)

2017-01-26 12:45:41 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Updated emulators/stella to 4.7.3
---------------------------------
4.7.2 to 4.7.3: (Nov. 21, 2016)

  * Added preliminary support for the 3E+ bankswitching scheme, developed
    by Thomas Jentzsch.

  * Fixed HMOVE positioning bug that occurred under certain circumstances.
Thanks to Omegamatrix of AtariAge for the bug report and patch to fix
    the issue.

  * Added 'trapm', 'trapreadm', 'trapwritem' commands to debugger prompt.
These are similar to the non-'m' versions, except that they also trap
on all mirrors of the given address.

  * Fixed bug in debugger 'reset' command; it wasn't resetting the
bankswitching, so after a reset the banks were in an undefined state.

  * Updated UNIX configure script to fix a bug where it fails in
cross-compilation under certain circumstances.  Thanks to Vlad
Zakharov for providing a patch to fix this issue.

4.7.1 to 4.7.2: (Mar. 25, 2016)

  * Fixed bug when entering and exiting the debugger; sometimes the
character corresponding to the '`' key would be output in the
    prompt area.

  * Updated DPC+ Thumb ARM emulation code to latest from David Welch.
In particular, this fixes incorrect handling of the V flag when
adding and subtracting, but also fixes compile-time warnings that
I couldn't get rid of before.

  * Updated UNIX configure script to work with GCC 6.x compilers, and to
remove references to obsolete compiler versions that can no longer
    be used to compile Stella.

4.7 to 4.7.1: (Feb. 13, 2016)

  * Improved TV 'jitter' emulation; the recovery time can now be spread
over multiple frame, to simulate a real TV taking multiple frames to
recover.  Related to this, added new commandline argument
'tv.jitter_recovery' to set the recovery time.  Finally, enabling
the jitter effect and the recovery time are now accessible through
the UI.  Special thanks to SpiceWare of AtariAge for the initial idea
    and implementation.

  * Fixed bug with 'Medieval Mayhem' ROMs; the paddle range was set too
low, and as a result the number of players couldn't be selected.

  * Fixed bug when using more than two input controllers with the same
name; each controller after the second one was named the same as the
second one.  This caused the joystick mappings to be lost, since there
was only information about two controllers being saved.

  * Indirectly fixed issues with Stelladaptor/2600-daptor devices and
paddles having too large of a deadzone in Linux.  Currently, this
involves running an external application to set the deadzone,
since SDL2 does not yet expose this information.  The program is
called 'evdev-joystick', and will be released separately from Stella.

  * Updated internal ROM properties database to ROM-Hunter version 11
(thanks go to RomHunter for his tireless research in this area).
Related to this, updated the snapshot collection.

4.6.7 to 4.7: (January 25, 2016)

  * Improved paddle emulation in several ways:

    - Added ability to specify the maximum range of movement for paddles
when using a mouse or digital device to emulate the paddle.  This is
useful since on a real console most paddle games use very little of
the paddle range, and could result in moving the mouse onscreen with
nothing appearing to happen (when in effect it was as if you turned
a real paddle all the way to the end of the range).  This eliminates
issues in (for example) Kaboom, where there was a huge 'deadzone'
when moving to the left.  All applicable ROMS in the internal
      database have been updated.

    - The range for paddle emulation now takes an integer from 1 - 20,
indicating how much to scale movement (ie, how fast the onscreen
paddle will move when you move the mouse).  The movement itself
is now also smoother than before.

  * Fixed bug in 'Score mode' in TIA emulation; the TIA object colours
were correct, but the associated priority was sometimes incorrect.

  * Fixed bug in ROM launcher; selecting 'Options -> Game Properties' after
loading a ROM would always point to the last opened ROM, not to the one
    currently selected.

  * Fixed bug in storing ROM properties; in some cases, a copy of the
ROM properties was being stored in the external file when it was
exactly the same as the internal entry.

  * Added 'CV+' bankswitching scheme, developed by myself and LS_Dracon
(of AtariAge).  This scheme contains RAM like the CV scheme, and
also switchable 2K ROM segments by writing to $3D.

  * Added more C++11 updates all over the codebase, and ran Stella
through Coverity for the first time.  I'm proud to say that Stella
now has a 0.00 defect rate!

Updated databases/db6 to 6.2.23

(adam)

2017-01-26 11:03:17 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 6.2.23:

New Features/Improvements
-------------------------
Added support for global message prefixes.

Added Replication Manager write forwarding, which enables a client to perform simple put and delete operations by forwarding them to the master.

Improved the way we mark a password as consumed.

Added support for IPv6.

Added support for Java 8.

Added support for ARMv7 and above, and for ARM64. ARMv6 and below are no longer supported.

Add a new SMP-optimized data model that is especially valuable for highly multithreaded applications. A sliced Berkeley DB instance contains a collection of related Berkeley DB environments, known as slices, each containing a disjoint subset of records. Transactional consistency is individually maintained within each slice, rather than across multiple slices.

DB now supports the client-server architecture by providing a stand-alone server program and Java client driver APIs. The server program offers remote access to DB features. The client driver APIs provide building blocks for applications that communicate with a database server. Multiple client applications can communicate with a single server simultaneously.

Enabled support of the SQLite user authentication extension.

Added Visual Studio 2012 projects.

Encryption and checksum can now be enabled with external files (formerly known as BLOBs). Note that only the data stored in the database will be encrypted and checksum protected. The data in the external files will not be encrypted or checksum protected.

The BLOB files feature has been renamed external files to reduce confusion with the SQL BLOB datatype. The BLOB related functions have been deprecated, and replaced with new function names; for example, ext_file_threshold has replaced blob_threshold, and blob_threshold is deprecated. See the Upgrading section of the documentation for more details.

Updated devel/py-pyparsing to 2.1.10

(adam)

2017-01-25 18:04:24 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Version 2.1.10 - October, 2016
-------------------------------
- Fixed bug in reporting named parse results for ZeroOrMore
expressions, thanks Ethan Nash for reporting this!

- Fixed behavior of LineStart to be much more predictable.
LineStart can now be used to detect if the next parse position
is col 1, factoring in potential leading whitespace (which would
cause LineStart to fail). Also fixed a bug in col, which is
used in LineStart, where '\n's were erroneously considered to
  be column 1.

- Added support for multiline test strings in runTests.

- Fixed bug in ParseResults.dump when keys were not strings.
Also changed display of string values to show them in quotes,
to help distinguish parsed numeric strings from parsed integers
that have been converted to Python ints.

Updated syncthing to 0.14.20.

This is a regularly scheduled bugfix and improvement release recommended for all users.

Resolved issues:

#3197: There is now a warning when adding a folder that is a parent of an existing folder.
#3912: Using -logfile flag together with -no-restart now causes an error instead of silently failing.
#3891: Weak hashing is now disabled completely when the threshold percentage is > 100.
#3921: Rate limiting now actually works on ARM64 builds again.
#3924: An issue where UPnP port allocations would be incorrect under some circumstances has been fixed.

Also:

Weak hashing is a bit faster and allocates less memory.
The hashing performance reported at startup now includes weak hashing.

Updated net/tor to 0.2.9.9

(wiz)

2017-01-24 08:59:07 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Updated tor to 0.2.9.9.

Changes in version 0.2.9.9 - 2017-01-23
Tor 0.2.9.9 fixes a denial-of-service bug where an attacker could
cause relays and clients to crash, even if they were not built with
the --enable-expensive-hardening option. This bug affects all 0.2.9.x
versions, and also affects 0.3.0.1-alpha: all relays running an affected
  version should upgrade.

This release also resolves a client-side onion service reachability
bug, and resolves a pair of small portability issues.

  o Major bugfixes (security):
    - Downgrade the "-ftrapv" option from "always on" to "only on when
--enable-expensive-hardening is provided." This hardening option,
like others, can turn survivable bugs into crashes -- and having
it on by default made a (relatively harmless) integer overflow bug
      into a denial-of-service bug. Fixes bug 21278 (TROVE-2017-001);
      bugfix on 0.2.9.1-alpha.

o Major bugfixes (client, onion service):
    - Fix a client-side onion service reachability bug, where multiple
socks requests to an onion service (or a single slow request)
could cause us to mistakenly mark some of the service's
introduction points as failed, and we cache that failure so
eventually we run out and can't reach the service. Also resolves a
mysterious "Remote server sent bogus reason code 65021" log
warning. The bug was introduced in ticket 17218, where we tried to
remember the circuit end reason as a uint16_t, which mangled
      negative values. Partially fixes bug 21056 and fixes bug 20307;
      bugfix on 0.2.8.1-alpha.

  o Minor features (geoip):
    - Update geoip and geoip6 to the January 4 2017 Maxmind GeoLite2
      Country database.

  o Minor bugfixes (portability):
    - Avoid crashing when Tor is built using headers that contain
CLOCK_MONOTONIC_COARSE, but then tries to run on an older kernel
without CLOCK_MONOTONIC_COARSE. Fixes bug 21035; bugfix
      on 0.2.9.1-alpha.
    - Fix Libevent detection on platforms without Libevent 1 headers
installed. Fixes bug 21051; bugfix on 0.2.9.1-alpha.

Updated multimedia/libvdpau to 1.1.1

(adam)

2017-01-23 18:20:59 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 1.1.1:
Use secure_getenv(3) to improve security

This patch is in response to the following security vulnerabilities
(CVEs) reported to NVIDIA against libvdpau:

CVE-2015-5198
CVE-2015-5199
CVE-2015-5200

To address these CVEs, this patch:

- replaces all uses of getenv(3) with secure_getenv(3);
- uses secure_getenv(3) when available, with a fallback option;
- protects VDPAU_DRIVER against directory traversal by checking for '/'

On platforms where secure_getenv(3) is not available, the C preprocessor
will print a warning at compile time. Then, a preprocessor macro will
replace secure_getenv(3) with our getenv_wrapper(), which utilizes the check:

  getuid() == geteuid() && getgid() == getegid()

See getuid(2) and getgid(2) for further details.

the shell.

Fix crash with no values when the print_values_position param is set (thanks @cristen)

2.3.0

    New call API: chart = Line(fill=True); chart.add('title', [1, 3, 12]); chart.render() can now be replaced with Line(fill=True)(1, 3, 12, title='title').render()
    Drop python 2.6 support

2.2.3

Fix bar static value positioning (#315)
    Add stroke_opacity style (#321)
Remove useless js in sparklines. (#312)

2.2.2

    Add classes option.
Handle ellipsis in list type configs to auto-extend parent. (Viva python3)

2.2.0

Support interruptions in line charts (thanks @piotrmaslanka #300)
Fix confidence interval reactiveness (thanks @chartique #296)
Add horizontal line charts (thanks @chartique #301)

The default value formatting is now chart dependent and is value_formatter for most graph but could be a combination of value_formatter and x_value_formatter for dual charts.
The human_readable option has been removed. Now you have to use the pygal.formatters.human_readable formatter (value_formatter=human_readable instead of human_readable=True)
New chart type: SolidGauge (thanks @chartique #295)

Updated fftwf to 3.3.6pl1.

FFTW 3.3.6-pl1:

* Bugfix: FFTW 3.3.6 had the wrong libtool version number, and generated
shared libraries of the form libfftw3.so.2.6.6 instead of
  libfftw3.so.3.*.

FFTW 3.3.6:

* The fftw_make_planner_thread_safe() API introduced in 3.3.5 didn't
work, and this 3.3.6 fixes it.  Sorry about that.
* compilation fixes for IBM XLC
* compilation fixes for threads on Windows
* fix SIMD autodetection on amd64 when (_MSC_VER > 1500)
