Updated mail/exim to 4.87

(adam)

2016-04-09 10:49:39 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Version 4.87

1. The ACL conditions regex and mime_regex now capture substrings
into numeric variables $regex1 to 9, like the "match" expansion condition.

2. New $callout_address variable records the address used for a spam=,
    malware= or verify= callout.

3. Transports now take a "max_parallel" option, to limit concurrency.

4. Expansion operators ${ipv6norm:<string>} and ${ipv6denorm:<string>}.
The latter expands to a 8-element colon-sep set of hex digits including
leading zeroes. A trailing ipv4-style dotted-decimal set is converted
to hex.  Pure ipv4 addresses are converted to IPv4-mapped IPv6.
The former operator strips leading zeroes and collapses the longest
    set of 0-groups to a double-colon.

5. New "-bP config" support, to dump the effective configuration.

6. New $dkim_key_length variable.

7. New base64d and base64 expansion items (the existing str2b64 being a
synonym of the latter).  Add support in base64 for certificates.

8. New main configuration option "bounce_return_linesize_limit" to
avoid oversize bodies in bounces. The dafault value matches RFC
    limits.

9. New $initial_cwd expansion variable.

Note update of "mutt-kz" to version 1.6.0.1

(tron)

2016-04-09 09:46:27 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update "mutt-kz" package to version 1.6.0.1. Changes since 1.5.23.1-rc1:
+ Enabled utf-8 mailbox support for IMAP.
+ New expandos %r and %R for comma separated list of To: and Cc:
  recipients respectively.
+ Improved support for internationalized email and SMTPUTF8 (RFC653[0-3]).
! $use_idn has been renamed to $idn_decode.
+ $idn_encode controls whether outgoing email address domains will
be IDNA encoded.  If your MTA supports it, unset to use utf-8
  email address domains.
+ The S/MIME message digest algorithm is now specified using the
  option $smime_sign_digest_alg.  Note that $smime_sign_command
should be modified to include "-md %d".  Please see
  contrib/smime.rc.
+ $reflow_space_quotes allows format=flowed email quotes to be
  displayed with spacing between them.
! multipart draft files are now supported.
+ The "-E" command line argument causes mutt to edit draft or include files.
All changes made in mutt will be saved back out to those files.
+ $resume_draft_files and $resume_edited_draft_files control how
  mutt processes draft files.
+ For classic gpg mode, $pgp_decryption_okay should be set to verify
multipart/encrypted are actually encrypted.  Please see
  contrib/gpg.rc for the suggested value.
! mailto URL header parameters by default are now restricted to
  'body' and 'subject'.
+ mailto_allow and unmailto_allow can be used to add or remove
  allowed mailto header parameters.
! The method of setting $hostname has been changed.  Rather than
scanning /etc/resolv.conf, the domain will now be determined using
  DNS calls.

Updated math/R-statmod to 1.4.24

(wen)

2016-04-09 08:36:34 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.4.24

Upstream changes:
2 February 2016: statmod 1.4.24

- speedup for rinvgauss() by replacing rchisq() with rnorm() and
  rbinom() with runif().

- speedup for qinvgauss() by using qgamma as starting approximation
for very small right tail probabilities, and inverse chisq as
starting approximation for very small left tail probabilities.

- qinvgauss() now computes Newton step using log probabilities
and a Taylor series expansion for small steps.  This improves
accuracy in extreme cases.  The stopping criterion for the Newton
  iteration has been revised.

- Bug fix to dinvgauss(), pinvgauss() and qinvgauss() which were not
preserving attributes of the first argument.

30 December 2015: statmod 1.4.23

- qinvgauss() has been improved to return best achievable machine
accuracy.  It now checks for backtracking of the Newton iteration.

- dinvgauss() and pinvgauss() now check for a wider range of special
cases.  This allows them to give valid results in some cases
for infinite or missing parameter values and for x outside the
  support of the distribution.

26 October 2015: statmod 1.4.22

- Functions needed from the stats and graphics packages are now
explicitly imported into the package NAMESPACE.

update to RBTools-0.7.5

RBTools 0.7.5 Release Notes

Release date: October 26, 2015
New Features

Users can now specify the search path for .reviewboardrc files.

The $RBTOOLS_CONFIG_PATH environment variable now controls the search path.
It窶冱 a list of paths separated by the system窶冱 native path separator
    (':' on Linux/MacOS X, ';' on Windows).
These paths are searched prior to any default paths.

This is handy for forcing the .reviewboardrc file in your home directory
    to be searched first.

    Patch by Nils Philippsen.

Bug Fixes
General

Fixed displaying error output containing non-ASCII characters. (Bug #3907)

On Windows, home directory detection now prefers the %HOME% environment
    variable to %APPDATA%.

Prior to this release, %HOME% was always ignored in favor of %APPDATA%,
which caused problems in certain setups.

    Patch by Vadim Zeitlin.

rbt api-get

The help output no longer mistakenly shows that 窶 is required before
    query arguments.

rbt post

Fixed a crash when using --diff-filename. (Bug #3908)

Git

Git version checking is no longer performed unless Git is installed,
preventing a harmless but visible error message for systems without Git.

Mercurial

Fixed path separator differences when posting a change against Mercurial
    on Windows. (Bug #3894)

    Patch by Ali Kamali.

Fixed a regression with looking for empty files.

When looking for empty files in a change (which must be handled specially),
RBTools would get a null result, which wasn窶冲 being handled correctly.

Perforce

    Fixed posting submitted Perforce changes.

Posting submitted changes for review regressed in 0.7.x. They can now be
    posted again.

Fixed posting Perforce paths that are not included in the client view.
    (Bug #3864)

It窶冱 once again possible to post a committed revision for review when the
commit contains files not in the client view.

Subversion

Fixed Unicode issues when parsing repository info when using
    --repository-url. (Bug #3969)

    Patch by Griffin Myers.

Fixed issues processing when a changeset has history scheduled with a
    commit.

    Patch by Griffin Myers.

Team Foundation Server

Fixed a number of issues with diff generation on TFS.

The method previously used to generate diffs didn窶冲 deal with a lot of
cases that could come up when using different editors or platforms, such
as files that don窶冲 end with a newline or files that start with a
    byte-order marker.

RBTools now requires GNU diff for TFS diff generation.

Updated cad/klayout to 0.24.6

(mef)

2016-04-08 23:28:07 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

update 0.24.5 to 0.24.6
  http://www.klayout.de/development.html
--------------------------------------------------------
  Version 0.24.6
  Release date: 2016-03-22
--------------------------------------------------------
-  Bugfix: Early delete of plugin object when returning a new object from
PluginFactory#create_plugin. The returned object was not held, so in Ruby
the GC could destroy the object. This could lead to crashes in applications
  employing the Plugin API.

-  Bugfix: It was possible to edit read-only macros. For example, it was
possible to enter new lines in macros marked as read-only. However, these
  changes were not saved.

-  Bugfix: Shift+Tab not working in macro editor. On some platforms, Shift+Tab
was not working as expected. This key combinations was supposed to
left-shift a selected block an undo indents.

-  Bugfix: Wrong scaling of layers when doing XOR's with layouts with
different database units. This happened when the layouts had different
layers and "summarize missing layers" was disabled.

-  Bugfix: "Search & Replace" was not working properly if named layers were
present. Specifically the shape search was not working due to an
  incorrectly formed query.

-  Bugfix: Sizing produced incorrect results in case of slowly varying polygon
contours. The effect was a contour with spiky distortions where two "almost
  parallel" edges connected.

-  Bugfix: The diff tool was not reporting differences correctly when layers
were present in one layout while they were not present in the other. This
happened specficially when "Summarize missing layers" was disabled.

-  Enhancement: New context mode in marker browser: "Current or Any". In this
mode, the markers are displayed in the context of the current cell. If that
is not possible because the markers are given for cells outside the cell
tree of the current cell, the fallback is to show the markers in the
current cell as in "Any" mode.

-  Enhancement: More consistent behaviour of cell and category filters in the
marker browser. For example, the category filter is now also applied when
selecting a node for a certain cell in the cell branch and if nested
categories are present, the category filter is applied smarter - not just
  on each category.

2016-04-08 22:00:40 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update gnucash to 2.6.12.

GnuCash 2.6.12 released

The GnuCash development team announces GnuCash 2.6.12, the twelfth maintenance release in the 2.6-stable series. Please take the tour of all the new features.
Changes

Between 2.6.11 and 2.6.12, the following bugfixes were accomplished:

Bug 482186 - Customer and vendor report for partners who get invoiced/paid in foreign currency show total labeled with the symbol of the default currency
Bug 620281 - Adding reversing transaction to bill transactions creates undeleteable transactions
Bug 642292 - General Ledger report - 'Primary Sort Key' value is not persistent
Bug 687504 - Not possible to reset an invoice/bill counter format
Bug 693342 - Print (bottom) prints to middle for 3-check pages
Bug 719904 - Decide payment type only based on the account type involved
Bug 720934 - Barcharts with many data points have overlapping x-axis labels
Bug 722996 - Cannot add stock price on Price Editor
Bug 723689 - Splash screen doesn't set the floating hint.
Bug 728074 - Posting bill converts currency to itself using 0 rate
Bug 728722 - Setting number format details appear wrong in Help, section 10.3.4. Counters Book Options Tab
  Bug 733164 - [MacOSX] Command-H Invokes Help->Help Contents
Bug 742352 - Budget Summary section does not show expense totals
Bug 744157 - Tip about subaccount is confusing
Bug 754209 - Bills can be posted from "find bill" search results even if bill is already posted and results in extra $ posted to A/P
Bug 754856 - scheduled transaction fails without warning
Bug 756469 - CSV Invoice Import - Items with double quote escape not imported.
Bug 760015 - guile support is automagic
Bug 760529 - Get Quotes updates value just once per day
Bug 760711 - Non-ASCII characters not shown in Report Name when a report is created with 2.6.12
Bug 762971 - Duplicating multiple invoices results in invoices without an ID number
Bug 763111 - commodities prices editor creates hidden db entries
Bug 763146 - Invalid exchange rate is recorded when entering multi-currency transaction
Bug 763279 - GnuCash has empty reports in recent Gentoo builds.

Some other fixes not associated with reported bugs:

  Various memory leaks.
More multi-currency fixes related to bug 763146.
Be more liberal in accepting business counter custom formats: li, lli, I64i, and whatever is defined to G_GINT_64 or PRIx64 on the system on which GnuCash is compiled.
Correctly re-value splits when the transaction currency is changed.
Reset the transaction currency to match the currently open account when auto-completing.
Refine the MacOS X localization when the system-generated POSIX locale isn't a supported locale: Prefer the country to language when selecting an alternate locale, but still pass the original language to gettext.
Check printing: extract address from invoice/bill for payment transactions.

Robert Fewell has contributed changes needed to allow the 2.6 series to read files from future major versions which use GUIDs instead of names to identify matched accounts with the Bayesian import matcher.

Translations Updated:Azeri, Basque, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Farsi, Japanese, Kinyarwandan, Portuguese, Slovak, Serbian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian.

(wiz)

2016-04-08 21:20:30 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update py-anki2 to 2.0.35.

Changes in 2.0.35

The interface language can now be changed from the preferences screen.

Fix shortcut keys not working in Spanish translation.

Changes in 2.0.34

The interface will now scale depending on your DPI size on Windows. This will make images and text more blocky if your DPI is up very high, but the buttons and text will be more readable. The alternate installer retains the old behaviour.

Exports of .apkg files now support media folders with >2GB / 64k files.

Importing and exporting of collection.apkg has been sped up, and we no longer compress media files in the .apkg, as most media files do not benefit from compression.

Importing and exporting now show progress.

Don窶冲 convert newlines into <br> tags in text export.

Limit tags in custom study screen to the tags that are available (thanks to bogdanteleaga).

Don窶冲 include media files starting with _ in deck export unless they窶决e referenced on template (thanks to Tim).

Fix crashes caused by other clients allowing huge daily card limits.

Fix an issue with overriding decks, thanks to Dave.

Ctrl/Cmd+E shortcut to add note in browser thanks to Glutanimate.

Don窶冲 restore previous folder when importing if the folder no longer exists (some users reported hangs).

If an invalid deck override has been set, ignore it (thanks to Tim).

Fix a bug in showing an error when an add-on download failed.

Keyboard shortcuts for suspend card (thanks Glutanimate) and reposition in browser.

Updated devel/py-mercurial to 3.7.3

(wiz)

2016-04-08 20:57:37 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update py-mercurial to 3.7.3.

This is an out of cycle release to address three security issues:

CVE-2016-3630 Mercurial: remote code execution in binary delta decoding

Mercurial prior to 3.7.3 contained two bounds-checking errors in its binary delta decoder that may be exploitable via clone, push, or pull.

CVE-2016-3068 Mercurial: arbitrary code execution with Git subrepos

Mercurial prior to 3.7.3 allowed URLs for Git subrepos that could result in arbitrary code execution on clone. This is a further side-effect of Git CVE-2015-7545. Reported by Blake Burkhart.

CVE-2016-3069 Mercurial: arbitrary code execution when converting Git repos

Mercurial prior to 3.7.3 allowed arbitrary code execution when converting Git repos with hostile names. This could affect automated conversion services. Reported by Blake Burkhart.

bdiff: (pure) support array.array arrays (issue5130)
convert: add new, non-clowny interface for shelling out to git (SEC)
convert: dead code removal - old git calling functions (SEC)
convert: rewrite calls to Git to use the new shelling mechanism (SEC)
convert: rewrite gitpipe to use common.commandline (SEC)
convert: test for shell injection in git calls (SEC)

files: don't recurse into subrepos without a path or -S (issue5127)

hg: perform update after pulling during clone with share (issue5103)

mq: restrict generated patch name to 75 characters (issue5117)
obsolete: fix n^2 marker computation behavior
    parsers: detect short records (SEC)
parsers: fix list sizing rounding error (SEC)
streamclone: fix error when store files grow while stream cloning
subrepo: adapt to git's recent renames-by-default
subrepo: set GIT_ALLOW_PROTOCOL to limit git clone protocols (SEC)

Import MoarVM-2016.03 from wip.

Short for "Metamodel On A Runtime", MoarVM is a virtual machine built
especially for Rakudo Perl 6 and the NQP Compiler Toolchain. The primary
backend target for the Christmas 2015 release of Perl 6, MoarVM stands
out amongst the various Rakudo and NQP compilation targets by:

- Running the Perl 6 specification test suite in the least time
- Passing more of the Perl 6 specification tests than Rakudo Perl 6 on
  other backends
- Having the lowest memory usage
- Having the best startup time
- Being fastest to build both NQP and Rakudo - and thus your Perl 6 and
  NQP programs too!
- Being the only backend to support strings at grapheme level

ntopng is the next generation version of the original ntop, a network traffic
probe that shows the network usage, similar to what the popular top Unix
command does. ntopng is based on libpcap and it has been written in a portable
way in order to virtually run on every Unix platform, MacOSX and on Windows as
well.

ntopng users can use a a web browser to navigate through ntop (that acts as
a web server) traffic information and get a dump of the network status. In
the latter case, ntopng can be seen as a simple RMON-like agent with
an embedded web interface. The use of:

* a web interface.
* limited configuration and administration via the web interface.
* reduced CPU and memory usage (they vary according to network size and traffic)

Changes 1.9.5:
Made MultiPartParser ignore filenames that normalize to an empty string to fix crash in MemoryFileUploadHandler on specially crafted user input.
Fixed a race condition in BaseCache.get_or_set(). It now returns the default value instead of False if there窶冱 an error when trying to add the value to the cache.
Fixed data loss on SQLite where DurationField values with fractional seconds could be saved as None.
The forms in contrib.auth no longer strip trailing and leading whitespace from the password fields. The change requires users who set their password to something with such whitespace after a site updated to Django 1.9 to reset their password. It provides backwards-compatibility for earlier versions of Django.
Fixed a memory leak in the cached template loader.
Fixed a regression that caused collectstatic --clear to fail if the storage doesn窶冲 implement path().
Fixed a crash when using a reverse lookup with a subquery when a ForeignKey has a to_field set to something other than the primary key.
Fixed a regression in CommonMiddleware that caused spurious warnings in logs on requests missing a trailing slash.
Restored the functionality of the admin窶冱 raw_id_fields in list_editable.
Fixed a regression with abstract model inheritance and explicit parent links.
Fixed a migrations crash on SQLite when renaming the primary key of a model containing a ForeignKey to 'self'.
Fixed JSONField inadvertently escaping its contents when displaying values after failed form validation.

Updated devel/global to 6.5.4

(wiz)

2016-04-08 15:01:08 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update global to 6.5.4.

Version 6.5.4 - Mar 27 2016

This is a bug fix release.

[CHANGES]
Changed:
o gtags.conf: The entries which include '.xml' were commented out,
because they require libxml.a. If you use them, please uncomment them.

[FIXED BUGS]
Serious bug:
o universal-ctags.la: Universal ctags plug-in parser did not work
on almost files. Now it works.

$ echo 'void a() {}' >a.inl
$ echo 'void b() {}' >b.cpp
$ gtags --gtagslabel=new-ctags
$ global -x '.*'
a                  1 a.inl            void a() {}
(b.cpp is ignored.)

Version 6.5.3 - Mar 18 2016

[CHANGES]
New facilities:
o Added new plug-in parser 'universal-ctags.la'.
o gtags.conf:
  - Added new entry 'universal-ctags'.
  - Added new variable 'ctagscom'. You can overwrite the path of ctags(1)
    dynamically for exuberant-ctags.la, universal-ctags.la and pygments-parser.la.

Changed:
o gtags.conf: Added the following patterns to the skip list.
  '*.o,*.a,*.so,*.lo,*.zip,*.gz,*.bz2,*.xz,*.lzh,*.Z,*.tgz,*.min.js,*min.css'
o gtags: Added some explanations for the --explain option.

[FIXED BUGS]
o global: Global generated incorrect path with the --color option.
  Now, it works well.

        [bad case]
+- GTAGS
+- hi/
    |- foo.cpp
    +- what/

$ cd hi/what
$ global -P hi/foo.cpp --color
foo.cpp        # It should be '../foo.cpp'.

o global: Global aborted in obstack_free() in some cases. Now it works well.
o htags: Htags ended abnormally when there is a file which includes single
quote characters in its file name. Now, it works.

Dr. Tobias Quathamer <toddy@debian.org>
Fri, 1 Apr 2016

  [ General ]
  * The data is now included in JSON files.
  * The XML files are deprecated and should not be used for new
projects. However, they are kept in sync with the JSON data
    for now.
  * The gettext domains have been renamed to better match the
    actual ISO number:
    - ISO 639-2: Renamed from iso_639 to iso_639-2
    - ISO 639-3: Renamed from iso_639_3 to iso_639-3
    - ISO 639-5: Renamed from iso_639_5 to iso_639-5
    - ISO 3166-1: Renamed from iso_3166 to iso_3166-1
    - ISO 3166-2: Renamed from iso_3166_2 to iso_3166-2
All previously used gettext domains are linked to the new
domain names, so that this transition should be smooth for
    programs using those domain names.
  * A new ISO standard has been included, ISO 3166-3. The gettext
domain is called iso_3166-3. Basically, this is a split of the
old domain iso_3166 into iso_3166-1 and iso_3166-3, because
the old domain iso_3166 contained both standards. However, the
standard ISO 3166-3 was more or less inaccessible.
  * The standard ISO 4217 (currency names) now includes only the
currently used currencies. Entries of withdrawn currencies are
    no longer included.
  * The standard ISO 639-5 now includes only the language families
which are part of the official standard. The previously
included languages were not part of the standard and have been
removed. This reduced the number of language families from
    about 1900 to about 110.
  * ISO 639-3 has finally been updated from the latest upstream
    sources. Closes: #711025

  [ ISO 3166-1 translations ]
  * Croatian by Bo転idar Putanec from TP

Updated security/p5-Crypt-PWSafe3 to 1.22

(wiz)

2016-04-08 14:46:13 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update p5-Crypt-PWSafe3 to 1.22.

1.22: Records created by Crypt::PWSafe3 (eg. the ones fetched
with getrecords) are now associated with the parent
object, so that you can modify them directly and call
$vault->save afterwards without using $vault->modifyrecord.

Erase passwd from memory using zeros instead of
        random bytes. fixes github#9.

Fixed rt.cpan.org#112975: Crypt::ECB (which we use) have been
reworked and among other issues it fixed handline of padding.
PWSafe3.pm did not specify a padding scheme (because it doesn't
use it) and therefore Crypt::ECB enforced a default scheme
which lead to an invalid key size. Now we specify explicitly
padding:none, as suggested by Christoph Appel.

  - Application of layers to handles during and after capture now attempts
to more accurately duplicate the original layers, including potential
duplicate layers.  Because of the unusual ways that layers are ordered

2016-04-08 07:54:27 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Release 3.12.0

Potentially Disruptive Change:
------------------------------
The SQLITE_DEFAULT_PAGE_SIZE is increased from 1024 to 4096. The SQLITE_DEFAULT_CACHE_SIZE is changed from 2000 to -2000 so the same amount of cache memory is used by default. See the application note on the version 3.12.0 page size change for further information.

Performance enhancements:
-------------------------
Enhancements to the Lemon parser generator so that it creates a smaller and faster SQL parser.
Only create master journal files if two or more attached databases are all modified, do not have PRAGMA synchronous set to OFF, and do not have the journal_mode set to OFF, MEMORY, or WAL.
Only create statement journal files when their size exceeds a threshold. Otherwise the journal is held in memory and no I/O occurs. The threshold can be configured at compile-time using SQLITE_STMTJRNL_SPILL or at start-time using sqlite3_config(SQLITE_CONFIG_STMTJRNL_SPILL).
The query planner is able to optimize IN operators on virtual tables even if the xBestIndex method does not set the sqlite3_index_constraint_usage.omit flag of the virtual table column to the left of the IN operator.
The query planner now does a better job of optimizing virtual table accesses in a 3-way or higher join where constraints on the virtual table are split across two or more other tables of the join.
More efficient handling of application-defined SQL functions, especially in cases where the application defines hundreds or thousands of custom functions.
The query planner considers the LIMIT clause when estimating the cost of ORDER BY.
The configure script (on unix) automatically detects pread() and pwrite() and sets compile-time options to use those OS interfaces if they are available.
Reduce the amount of memory needed to hold the schema.
Other miscellaneous micro-optimizations for improved performance and reduced memory usage.

New Features:
-------------
Added the SQLITE_DBCONFIG_ENABLE_FTS3_TOKENIZER option to sqlite3_db_config() which allows the two-argument version of the fts3_tokenizer() SQL function to be enabled or disabled at run-time.
Added the sqlite3rbu_bp_progress() interface to the RBU extension.
The PRAGMA defer_foreign_keys=ON statement now also disables RESTRICT actions on foreign key.
Added the sqlite3_system_errno() interface.
Added the SQLITE_DEFAULT_SYNCHRONOUS and SQLITE_DEFAULT_WAL_SYNCHRONOUS compile-time options. The SQLITE_DEFAULT_SYNCHRONOUS compile-time option replaces the SQLITE_EXTRA_DURABLE option, which is no longer supported.
Enhanced the ".stats" command in the command-line shell to show more information about I/O performance obtained from /proc, when available.

Bug fixes:
----------
Make sure the sqlite3_set_auxdata() values from multiple triggers within a single statement do not interfere with one another.
Fix the code generator for expressions of the form "x IN (SELECT...)" where the SELECT statement on the RHS is a correlated subquery.
Fix a harmless TSAN warning associated with the sqlite3_db_readonly() interface.

Updated graphics/hugin to 2016.0.0

(adam)

2016-04-07 19:23:26 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 2016.0.0:
The first improvement concerns icc color profiles: Hugin has already copied the icc profile into the output file when stitching panoramas. Now also the display in the GUIs takes the icc profile into account. Celeste_standalone and cpfind read now also the icc profile and use it during its processings.
Beside the known output options Hugin now includes a user defined output sequence. With this option the user can create more flexible variants for the output. As an example a zero-noise output sequence is delivered with Hugin 2016.0.
Some buttons in the Hugin GUI now have a context menu for easier access to some function:
Show all in the fast preview window to allow better interaction with stacked projects.
Celeste button in the cp tab (panorama editor): the button can now be used to create control points or to clean control points with celeste or statistical methods.
The identify tool in the fast preview window now also shows the image numbers on top of the images. (This can be suppressed by pressing the alt button).

Overview of changes in GLib 2.47.3
==================================

The inline cleanup in the last release accidentally removed three
symbols from libglib-2.0.so.  It is unlikely that this will have caused
any problems because these symbols were only backup symbols for
definitions exported as inlines in the header files, but ABI is ABI.

This release corrects only this problem.

Overview of changes in GLib 2.47.2
==================================

* We have formalised the assumption that all compilers that are
interested in support 'static inline' and simplified the macros around
this considerably.  Please watch for and report unintentional fallout.

* New API: hardware-assisted helpers for overflow-checked integer math.

Overview of changes in GLib 2.45.1
==================================

* The GSettings schema compiler, glib-compile-schemas has been changed
to reject schema xml that has duplicate <summary> or <description>
elements. Such elements typically occur when translations are merged
into the schema, with xml:lang attributes. This is not the correct
way to translate schemas. Instead keep the translations in the .mo
file and set the gettext-domain attribute on the <schemalist> element.

* The file monitoring infrastructure has been rewritten, and all backends
  have seen major improvements.

The inotify backend is reporting events with less delay (no event will
be delayed more than 10ms) and wakeups due to file monitoring have been
significantly reduced. A CHANGES_DONE event will also be sent when new
  files appear.

The poll implementation is now using the thread default main context.

The fam implmentation is now running in the worker thread.

The fen implementation has been removed, since it was unmaintained.

* The GSettings schema compiler, glib-compile-schemas, is more strict
about rejecting schemas with xml:lang style merged translations.
Schema translations should be done by specifying the gettext domain
in the xml, and keeping the translations in gettext. To avoid breaking
already-installed schemas, this change is only taking effect when
  you use the --strict option.

* The hardcoded 10-thread limit of GTask's thread pool has been removed,
since it was prone to causing deadlocks. The thread pool is now allowed
to grow dynamically and will shrink back over time.

* GSimpleAsyncResult has been deprecated in favor of GTask.

* The algorithm used by GAppInfo to find default handlers for mime types
has been tweaked to prefer apps that handle the specific subtype over
default handlers for a generic supertype.

* Bug fixes:

Overview of changes leading to 1.2.5
Monday, April 4, 2016
====================================

- Fix GDEF mark-filtering-set, which was broken in 1.2.3.

Overview of changes leading to 1.2.4
Thursday, March 17, 2016
====================================

- Synthesize GDEF glyph class for any glyph that does not have one in GDEF.
I really hope we don't discover broken fonts that shape badly with this
  change.
- Misc build and other minor fixes.
- API changes:
  - Added HB_NDEBUG.  It's fine for production systems to define this to
disable high-overhead debugging checks.  However, I also reduced the
overhead of those checks, so it's a non-issue right now.  You can
forget it.  Just not defining anything at all is fine.

Add p5-NetAddr-MAC

(bouyer)

2016-04-07 16:01:05 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Add p5-NetAddr-MAC 0.94
from DESCR:

This is a module with functions for handling mac addresses. There are
already two or three MAC addressing functions in CPAN, the motivation
for this module is moderate functionality without Moose.

With that in mind, you can understand why I have cloned much of the really
useful functionality from the two or three existing similar modules on CPAN.

I've covered off all the mac address formats I deal with in my workplace
of mixed hardware. This module can decode just about anything that looks
reasonably like a mac address, and stringify into every format I have seen
used...

So sorry, I'm not really interesting in adding a templating function to
define your own mac address formats. You're welcome to either send in a
patch, extend this module or quickly write a function that wraps the 'raw'
output to whatever you want. Match and join are your friends :)

Hopefully this module is useful to you. So far I have been pleased with
the amount of feedback and patches people have sent in, this has been very
rewarding as well as providing a number of new features I have been able
to use myself.

Updated editors/Sigil to 0.9.5

(ryoon)

2016-04-07 14:28:59 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 0.9.5

Changelog:
This Sigil-0.9.5 release is a quick follow-up bug fix release to primarily address some regressions that had snuck into the code over the past two releases.

Bug Fixes
* Fix regression when ImportHTML in gathering HTML based DC. metadata
* Fix regression - remove incorrect use of opf:scheme from dc:creator and dc:contributor under epub2
* Fix regression - the guide reference tag is always a void tag
* Fix issues with hunspell spell checking under Windows when non-ascii paths to dictionaries
* Fix issues with overridding the prefs directory on Windows with non-ascii paths
* Fix broken manual "Check" button on W3C stylesheet validation's generated html form.
* Fix media-type recognition for .m4a and .m4v file extenstions in main Sigil and plugin code
* Treat ruby and rt as inline tags when pretty-printing in Sigils and for plugins

Even our one new feature fixes a bug in which CSS version is sued to validate CSS under epub3.

New Feature

* Allow user to choose what level of CSS gets used in the "Validate Stylesheets
With W3C" tool via user preference (General).

Be aware that Sigil-0.9.5 still enforces the need for epub3 to have and support an NCX so that it generates as backward a compatible epub as possible. This may be relaxed in future releases.

Sigil-0.9.5 like its predecessors passed all of the following tests for epub3 support: iframe, img, audio, video , mathml, svg (except for svg support in the spine), javascript, and of course recognizing and allowing html5 specific tags like section, and etc. Sigil-0.9.5 also supports javascript based local-storage and display of embedded pdfs.

actually, just passing -P to cpp(1) to inhibit linemarkers when using GCC
is sufficient and avoids patch and tool dependency on tradcpp.
Gleaned from FreeBSD ports.

Update to 3.08

Upstream changes:
3.08 2016-01-05

    - Fix a bug introduced in version 1.28 whereby a short write in Net::Cmd
would be treated as an error instead of looping.  [David Golden, PR#24]

    - Documented the fact that Net::SMTP::auth() can accept an Authen::SASL
object instead of a username and password.  [Jan Viktorin, CPAN RT#106183]

    - Simplified specification of INSTALLDIRS: We do not need to check the lower
bound since we only support Perl 5.8.1 and higher anyway.

CHANGES BETWEEN 2.6.2 and 2.6.3

  I. IMPORTANT CHANGES

    - Khmer,  Myanmar, Bengali,  and Kannada  script support  has been
      added to the auto-hinter.

  II. MISCELLANEOUS

    - Better  support of  Indic  scripts like  Devanagari  by using  a
      top-to-bottom hinting flow.

    - All  FreeType macros  starting  with two  underscores have  been
renamed to  avoid a violation of  both the C and  C++ standards.
Example: Header  macros of the  form `__FOO_H__' are  now called
`FOO_H_'.  In most cases,  this should be completely transparent
to the user.  The exception to this  is `__FTERRORS_H__', which
must be  sometimes undefined by  the user to get  FreeType error
strings:  Both this  form and  the new  `FTERRORS_H_' macro  are
      accepted for backwards compatibility.

    - Minor improvements mainly to the Type 1 driver.

    - The  new CFF  engine now  supports all  Type 2  operators except
      `random'.

    - The macro `_STANDALONE_', used for  compiling the B/W and smooth
rasterizers  as  stand-alone  modules,  has  been  renamed  to
`STANDALONE_', since macro names starting with an underscore and
followed by an uppercase letter are reserved in both C and C++.

    - Function  `FT_Library_SetLcdFilterWeights'  now  also  activates
custom LCD filter weights (instead of just adjusting them).

    - Support for  `unpatented hinting'  has been  completely removed:
      Consequently,  the two  functions `FT_Face_CheckTrueTypePatents'
and  `FT_Face_SetUnpatentedHinting'  now  return  always  false,
      doing nothing.

    - The `ftgamma' demo  program has been modernized;  the gamma grid
display has been moved from `ftview' to this program.

    - It is now possible to  cycle through the available LCD fitlering
      modes.

Changes 4.2:

- All deprecated options and features of version 4.1 have been
  removed.

- Enblend and Enfuse support layer (aka "page", aka "frame") selection
in of multi-layer image-files.  This includes processing any layers
  in user-defined order.

- Both Enblend and Enfuse can now perform all their pyramidal blending
operations in CIELAB (aka L*a*b*, aka L-star) and CIELUV (aka
L*u*v*) color spaces, too.  See section "New Commandline Options",
  option `--blend-colorspace'.

The previous default, CIECAM for input images with ICC-profile has
been changed to CIELUV.  The default for RGB images without
ICC-profile remains.  However, the new default for floating-point
image data is to use the RGB-cube, no matter whether the images come
  with profiles or not.

- The new Graph-Cut algorithm is the default primary seam-line
  generator.

- Avoid a division-by-zero in the Annealing Optimizer.

- Fix a bug (1356551) in the seam-line vectorization code that was
there since 2004.  The fix changes the position of almost any
coarse-mask seam line vertex by one pixel.

- Fix a longstanding quirk, which allowed to load masks into Enblend
and Enfuse that were unsuitable for processing.

- Fix a bug in the highlight-recovery that caused Enfuse to bail out
  with the uncaught exception
      "Minimizer1D::set_bracket: minimum not bracketed".

- The OpenMP enabled versions of Enblend and Enfuse benefit from
  Google's TCMalloc library.

- Several exposure weight functions were added to Enfuse.  The choice
is now up to the user.  The default still is the Gauss function as
  in all Enfuse versions before.

Changes 9.19:
* New custom PJL (near) equivalents for pdfmark and setdistillerparams.
* Metadata pdfmark is now implemented.
* An experimental, rudimentary raster trapping implementation implementation has been added to the Ghostscript graphics library.
* The halftone threshold array generation tools (part of toolbin/halftone) have been improved with thresh_remap which allows folding the transfer function (AKA toner response curve (TRC)) into the threshold array so that highlights are improved. Further, gen_stochastic has improved support for minimum dot size and shape.
* Plus the usual round of bug fixes, compatibility changes, and incremental improvements.
