Updated print/cups-filters to 1.0.73

(wiz)

2015-08-26 08:36:48 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.0.73. Now needs gdbus-codegen and gmake to build.

CHANGES IN V1.0.73

- cups-browsed: Added missing
          utils/org.cups.cupsd.Notifier.xml file.

CHANGES IN V1.0.72

- cups-browsed, implicitclass: Added load balancing
          functionality. If there are several remote CUPS printers
          with the same name, they for locally a cluster represented
          by a print queue with this name. This printer prints through
          a special backend (implicitclass) which makes cups-browsed
          find the best destination remote queue (fewest jobs,
          enabled) for this job.
- cups-browsed: Added protection against accidental deletion of
  print queues generated by cups-browsed. These queues now get
  automatically re-created.
- cups-browsed: Added LDAP support. Appropriately configured via
  cups-browsed.conf remote printers made available via LDAP will be
  looked up and local queues pointing to them created. Thanks to
  Raphael Geissert (atomo64 at gmail dot com) for contributing this
  patch (Debian bug #795185).
- cups-browsed: Introduced new handling for the default
  printer using cache files. So we do not need to keep an auto-generated
  queue because it is set as default printer. If the auto-generated
  queue disappears, the old local printer is set as default again and
  when it re-appears it returns to be the default printer.
- cups-browsed: Added infrastructure for subscribing to CUPS
  notifications for things like improved default printer handling,
  load balancing, ...
- foomatic-rip: Prevent crash when supplying "media" option with empty
  value ("media=", Ubuntu bug #1479871).
- pdftoopvp: Adaptations to API changes on Poppler 0.34.0, note that
  this patch disables color management in this filter. Thanks to
  Vincent le Garrec and Andreas K. Huettel for the patch (Bug #1301,
  Gentoo bug #554782).
- libcupsfilters, bannertopdf, foomatic-rip, gstoraster, pdftoijs,
  sys5ippprinter, pdftoopvp, pdftops, pdftoraster, rastertoescpx,
  urftopdf, texttopdf: Miscellaneous fixes for build compatibility with
  different platforms, like config.h as very first include and so on.
  Thanks to Richard Palo for the patch (Bug #1264).
- texttopdf: Request the generic 'monospace' font alias from fontconfig
  instead of the hard-coded FreeMono. Thanks to Fabian Greffrath
  (fabian at debian dot org) for the patch (Debian bug #788048).

Updated sysutils/rsyslog to 8.12.0

(fhajny)

2015-08-26 00:55:33 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update sysutils/rsyslog to 8.12.0.

Version 8.12.0 [v8-stable] 2015-08-11
- Harmonize resetConfigVariables values and defaults
  see also https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/413
  Thanks to Tomas Heinrich for the patch.
- GT/KSI: fix some issues in signature file format and add conversion tool
  The file format is incompatible to previous format, but tools have been
  upgraded to handle both and also an option been added to convert from
  old to new format.
- bugfix: ommysql did not work when gnutls was enabled
  as it turned out, this was due to a check for GnuTLS functions
  with the side-effect that
  AC_CHECK_LIB, by default, adds the lib to LIBS, if there is no
  explicit action, what was the case here. So everything was now
  linked against GnuTLS, which in turn made ommysql fail.
  Thanks to Thomas D. (whissi) for the analysis of the ommysql/gnutls
  problem and Thomas Heinrich for pointing out that AC_CHECK_LIB might
  be the culprit.
- bugfix omfile: potential memory leak on file close
  see also: https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/423
  Thanks to Robert Schiele for the patch.
- bugfix omfile: potential race in dynafile detection/creation
  This could lead to a segfault.
  Thanks to Tomas Heinrich for the patch.
- bugfix omfile: Fix race-condition detection in path-creation code
  The affected code is used to detect a race condition in between
  testing for the existence of a directory and creating it if it didn't
  exist.  The variable tracking the number of attempts wasn't reset for
  subsequent elements in the path, thus limiting the number of
  reattempts to one per the whole path, instead of one per each path
  element.
  This solution was provided by Martin Poole.
- bugfix parser subsystem: potential misadressing in SanitizeMsg()
  could lead to a segfault
  Thanks to Tomas Heinrich for the patch.
- imfile: files moved outside of directory are now (properly) handled
- bugfix: imfile: segfault when using startmsg.regex if first log line
  doesn't match
  Thanks to Ciprian Hacman for the patch.
- bugfix imfile: file table was corrupted when on file deletion
  This could happen when a file that was statically configured (not via an
  wildcard) was deleted.
- bugfix ompgsql: transaction were improperly handled
  now transaction support is solidly disabled until we have enough requests
  to implement it again. Module still works fine in single insert mode.
  closes https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/399
- bugfix mmjsonparse: memory leak if non-cee-json message is processed
  see also https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/383
  Thanks to Anton Matveenko for the patch
- testbench: remove raciness from UDP based tests
- testbench: added bash into all scripts makign it mandatory
- bugfix testbench: Fixed problem building syslog_caller util when
  liblogging-stdlog is not available.
  Thanks to Louis Bouchard for the patch
- bugfix rscryutil.1: Added fix checking for generate_man_pages condition
  Thanks to Radovan Sroka for the patch
- bugfix freebsd console: \n (NL) is prepended with \r (CR) in console
  output on freebsd only. For more details see here:
  https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/372
  Thanks to AlexandreFenyo for the patch
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 8.11.0 [v8-stable] 2015-06-30
- new signature provider for Keyless Signature Infrastructure (KSI) added
- build system: re-enable use of "make distcheck"
- add new signature provider for Kesless Signature Infrastructure (KSI)
  This has also been added to existing tooling; KSI is kind of v2 of
  the Guardtime functionality and has been added in the appropriate
  places.
- bugfix imfile: regex multiline mode ignored escapeLF option
  Thanks to Ciprian Hacman for reporting the problem
  closes https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/370
- bugfix omkafka: fixed several concurrency issues, most of them related
  to dynamic topics.
  Thanks to Janmejay Singh for the patch.
- bugfix: execonlywhenpreviousissuspended did not work correctly
  This especially caused problems when an action with this attribute was
  configured with an action queue.
- bugfix core engine: ensured global variable atomicity
  This could lead to problems in RainerScript, as well as probably in other
  areas where global variables are used inside rsyslog. I wouldn't outrule
  it could lead to segfaults.
  Thanks to Janmejay Singh for the patch.
- bugfix imfile: segfault when using startmsg.regex because of empty log line
  closes https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/357
  Thanks to Ciprian Hacman for the patch.
- bugfix: build problem on Solaris
  Thanks to Dagobert Michelsen for reporting this and getting us up to
  speed on the openCWS build farm.
- bugfix: build system strndup was used even if not present
  now added compatibility function. This came up on Solaris builds.
  Thanks to Dagobert Michelsen for reporting the problem.
  closes https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/issues/347
- bugfix imjournal: do not pass empty messages to rsyslog core
  this causes a crash of the daemon
  see also https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/412
  Thanks to Tomas Heinrich for the patch.
- bugfix imjournal: cosmetic memory leak
  very small and an shutdown only, so did not affect operations
  see also https://github.com/rsyslog/rsyslog/pull/411
  Thanks to Tomas Heinrich for the patch.

add math/py-simpleeval

(richard)

2015-08-25 05:05:39 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Add py-simpleeval
A quick single-file MIT-Licenced library for easily adding evaluatable
expressions into python projects. Say you want to allow a user to set an alarm
volume, which could depend on the time of day, alarm level, how many previous
alarms had gone off, and if there is music playing at the time.

Or if you want to allow simple formulae in a web application, but don't want
to give full eval() access, or don't want to run in javascript on the client side.

It's deliberately very simple, just a single file you can dump into a project,
or import from pypi (pip or easy_install).

Internally, it's using the amazing python ast module to parse the expression,
which allows very fine control of what is and isn't allowed. It should be
completely safe in terms of what operations can be performed by the expression.

The only issue I know to be aware of is that you can create an expression which
takes a long time to evaluate, or which evaluating requires an awful lot of
memory, which leaves the potential for DOS attacks. There is basic protection
against this, and you can lock it down further if you desire.

You should be aware of this when deploying in a public setting.

The defaults are pretty locked down and basic, and it's very easy to add whatever
extra specific functionality you need (your own functions, variable/name lookup, etc).

=== PhotoRec & QPhotoRec ===
QPhotoRec is a Graphical User Interface (Qt based GUI) version of PhotoRec.
More user friendly, it recognizes the same file formats.

PhotoRec remains recommended for advanced users, it can stop a recovery and
resume it later, it recovers more fragmented files when brute-force technology
is enabled and expert mode is available.

==== Improvements ====
* Reduced false positives for more than 80 file formats.
* .gif: fix filesize detection
* .flv: add Flash filesize detection
* .mpg: detect filesize for MPEG
* .ra: detect filesize for RealAudio3
* Improved algorithm to deal with data fragmentation resulting in a general
  speed increased
* Speedup brute-force mode. Brute-force mode can recover more fragmented
  files, but it's still slow and not 100% reliable. You can enable it in
  PhotoRec Options menu.

New file formats recovered by PhotoRec:
* .3dm: Rhino / openNURBS
* .ari: ARRI Raw Video
* .camrec: Camtasia Studio
* .dad: Micae DVR
* .dcm: Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM)

  Committed By: wiz
  Date: Fri Aug 21 14:43:17 UTC 2015

  Modified Files:
  pkgsrc/sysutils/tarsnap: Makefile distinfo

  Log Message:
  Update to 1.0.36:

  1. SECURITY FIX: When constructing paths of objects being archived, a buffer
  could overflow by one byte upon encountering 1024, 2048, 4096, etc. byte
  paths. Theoretically this could be exploited by an unprivileged user whose
  files are being archived; I do not believe it is exploitable in practice,
  but I am offering a $1000 bounty for the first person who can prove me wrong:
  http://www.daemonology.net/blog/2015-08-21-tarsnap-1000-exploit-bounty.html

  2. SECURITY FIX: An attacker with a machine's write keys, or with read keys
  and control of the tarsnap service, could make tarsnap allocate a large
  amount of memory upon listing archives or reading an archive the attacker
  created; on 32-bit machines, tarsnap can be caused to crash under the
  aforementioned conditions.

  3. BUG FIX: Tarsnap no longer crashes if its first DNS lookup fails.

  4. BUG FIX: Tarsnap no longer exits with "Callbacks uninitialized" when
  running on a dual-stack network if the first IP stack it attempts fails to
  connect.

  5. tarsnap now avoids opening devices nodes on linux if it is instructed to
  archive /dev/.  This change may prevent "watchdog"-triggered reboots.

  6. tarsnap -c --dry-run can now run without a keyfile, allowing users to
  predict how much Tarsnap will cost before signing up.

  7. tarsnap now has bash completion scripts.

  8. tarsnap now takes a --retry-forever option.

  9. tarsnap now automatically detects and uses AESNI and SSE2.

  * Version 1.31 (released 2015-07-08) [bet

  ** libidn: stringprep_utf8_to_ucs4 now rejects invalid UTF-8. CVE-2015-2059
  This function has always been documented to not validate that the
  input UTF-8 string is actually valid UTF-8.  Like the rest of the API,
  when you call a function that works on UTF-8 data, you have to pass it
  valid UTF-8 data.  Application writers appear to have difficulties
  using interfaces designed like that, as bugs triggered by invalid
  UTF-8 has been identified in a number of projects (jabberd2, gnutls,
  wget, and curl).  While we could introduce a new API to perform UTF-8
  validation, so that applications can easily implement the proper
  checks, this appear error prone because there is a risk that the check
  will be forgotten.  Instead, we took the more radical approach of
  modifying the documentation and the implementation of the API.  The
  intention is that all functions that accepts UTF-8 data should
  validate it before use.  This will solve the problem for applications,
  without needing to change them.  This change has the unfortunate
  side-effect that Surrogate codes (see section 5.5 of RFC 3454) no
  longer trigger the STRINGPREP_CONTAINS_PROHIBITED error code but
  instead will trigger the newly introduced STRINGPREP_ICONV_ERROR error
  code, as the gnulib/libunistring-based code that we use to test
  UTF-8-compliance rejects Surrogate codes.  We hope that this is an
  acceptable cost to live with in order to improve application security.
  We welcome feedback on this solution, and we are marking this release
  as beta rather than stable to signal that we may reconsider this
  approach if people disagree.  Reported by several people including
  Thijs Alkemade, Gustavo Grieco, Daniel Stenberg, and Nikos
  Mavrogiannopoulos.

  ** libidn: Added STRINGPREP_ICONV_ERROR error code.

  ** libidn: Workaround valgrind/gcc/glibc issue.
  Valgrind reported a 'Invalid read of size 4' that was caused by
  optimized strlen implementation.  Reported and patch by Alessandro
  Ghedini <alessandro@ghedini.me>.

  ** build: Use LOG_COMPILER instead of TESTS_ENVIRONMENT to fix valgrind use.
  Errors caught by valgrind did not always trigger 'make check' failures
  before.

  ** i18n: Updated Danish translation.
  Thanks to Joe Hansen.

  ** API and ABI is backwards compatible with the previous version.

    Updates and additions to release 3.6

    details found here (http://www.tryton.org/posts/new-tryton-release-36.html)

    Major changes for the developer

        It is now allowed to have many times the same field in list/tree view.
        There is no more a datetime widget for list/tree, two columns with one
        widget date and one widget time should be used instead.

        A new field TimeDelta appears in this release to represent a duration. It
        replace the float_time widget which had some rounding issue. This new
        field is already used in the timesheet and project modules.

        The One2Many widget can be configured to use a Cartesian product with the
        selections of many values for Many2One or Reference fields.

        A method restore_history_before is added to ModelSQL which behaves like
        the existing restore_history but restore the records just before the datetime.

        The on_change methods have been migrated to a behaviour more consistent
        with the Active Record Pattern used in Tryton. Instead of returning a
        dictionary with the values to change, now the instance is directly changed.

        This allow to chain easily the on_change methods or reuse them in other
        methods reducing the duplication.

        The method save on ModelStorage is now a dualmethod which means that it
        can be called as usual as an instance method but also as a class method
        with a list of records. Saving many records at once this way improves the
        performance as the method will minimize the number of queries to the
        database and will validate the result by bunch.

        The Dict field received a translated method to create descriptors which
        translate the values or the keys like the same method on Selection field.

        It is now allowed to use the dotted notation in the order clause of a search.
        The ORM will automatically generate the needed joins.

        The API of the Report class has been reworked to improve the customization
        of the engine. The formatting methods are now more strict to prevent silent
        failure.

        The safe_eval (which was not sure to be safe) has been completely removed.
        In the places where the evaluated code was any way safe, the standard eval
        is used. For evaluated code from outside, a JSON notation is now used. Some
        utilities have been developed to ease the creation of JSON from XMl or in
        the views.

        A new kind of button has been added which works on non-saved record. They
        are quite similar to on_change but they are triggered by a click on a
        button instead of a change of field.

    Accounting

        A new method reverse_compute has been added to Tax which allow to compute
        the base amount from the taxed amount.
        The sign of the second currency amount is enforced to be the same as
        debit - credit.
        The analytic account management has been reworked to use a really One2Many
        instead of the pseudo-field. This simplification was possible thanks to the
        recent new features like the usage of Reference field on One2Many.

    Party

        The vat number is now stored in its compact format.

    Product

        The number of decimal for internal price calculations is now a configuration
        parameter price_decimal. This parameter is used everywhere to ensure
        consistency between all modules.

    Purchase/Sale

        Their lines support both mixed invoice type (Invoice vs Credit Note) per
        line when computing the invoiced quantity.

    Stock

        A new state staging is added to the move. Such state doesn't impact at all
        the computation of the stock level. It is used for supply on sale, to
        create moves in advance.
        Inactive products are still computed for the stock level.
        The computation of assigned move has been improved to take only in
        consideration outgoing move assigned not the incoming. This result in a
        less optimistic for the stock level and thus prevent to assign a move with
        an incoming one that is just assigned but not yet done.
        Forecasts are now automatically deactivated when their period is in the past.

Updated security/nettle to 3.1.1

(wiz)

2015-08-23 14:22:10 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 3.1.1, now that gnutls is fixed to build with it.

NEWS for the Nettle 3.1.1 release

This release fixes a couple of non-critical bugs.

Bug fixes:

* By accident, nettle-3.1 disabled the assembly code for the
  secp_224r1 and secp_521r1 elliptic curves on all x86_64
  configurations, making signature operations on those curves
  10%-30% slower. This code is now re-enabled.

* The x86_64 assembly implementation of gcm hashing has been
          fixed to work with the Sun/Oracle assembler.

The shared library names are libnettle.so.6.1 and
libhogweed.so.4.1, with sonames still libnettle.so.6 and
libhogweed.so.4. It is intended to be fully binary compatible
with nettle-3.1.

NEWS for the Nettle 3.1 release

This release adds a couple of new features.

The library is mostly source-level compatible with nettle-3.0.
It is however not binary compatible, due to the introduction
of versioned symbols, and extensions to the base64 context
structs. The shared library names are libnettle.so.6.0 and
libhogweed.so.4.0, with sonames libnettle.so.6 and
libhogweed.so.4.

Bug fixes:

* Fixed a missing include of <limits.h>, which made the
  camellia implementation fail on all 64-bit non-x86
  platforms.

* Eliminate out-of-bounds reads in the C implementation of
  memxor (related to valgrind's --partial-loads-ok flag).

Interface changes:

* Declarations of many internal functions are moved from ecc.h
  to ecc-internal.h. The functions are undocumented, and
  luckily they're apparently also unused by applications, so I
  don't expect any problems from this change.

New features:

* Support for curve25519 and for EdDSA25519 signatures.

* Support for "fat builds" on x86_64 and arm, where the
  implementation of certain functions is selected at run-time
  depending on available cpu features. Configure with
  --enable-fat to try this out. If it turns out to work well
  enough, it will likely be enabled by default in later
  releases.

* Support for building the hogweed library (public key
  support) using "mini-gmp", a small but slower implementation
  of a subset of the GMP interfaces. Note that builds using
  mini-gmp are *not* binary compatible with regular builds,
  and more likely to leak side-channel information.

  One intended use-case is for small embedded applications
  which need to verify digital signatures.

* The shared libraries are now built with versioned symbols.
  Should reduce problems in case a program links explicitly to
  nettle and/or hogweed, and to gnutls, and the program and
  gnutls expect different versions.

* Support for "URL-safe" base64 encoding and decoding, as
          specified in RFC 4648. Contributed by Amos Jeffries.

Optimizations:

* New x86_64 implementation of AES, using the "aesni"
  instructions. Autodetected in fat builds. In non-fat builds,
  it has to be enabled explicitly with --enable-x86-aesni.

Build system:

* Use the same object files for both static and shared
  libraries. This eliminates the *.po object files which were
  confusing to some tools (as well as humans). Like before,
  PIC code is used by default; to build a non-pic static
  library, configure with --disable-pic --disable-shared.

Miscellaneous:

* Made type-checking hack in CBC_ENCRYPT and similar macros
  stricter, to generate warnings if they are used with
  functions which have a length argument smaller than size_t.

libgphoto2 2.5.0 release

libgphoto2 API:
  * gp_context* functions no longer get varargs, but preprocessed
    strings. This makes hooking them into other language bindings
    easier.

  * gp_file_new_from_handler(): Allow passing data in and out via
    handler functions (to allow streaming). See also CameraFileHandler
    function pointers.

  * CameraFileInfoFile: removed "name" structmember and GP_FILE_INFO_NAME
    flags.
    Use direct passing in of the filename to the API functions.

  * New: gp_camera_autodetect(CameraList *list, GPContext*);

    Simple autodetection function returning all current detected cameras.

  * (TODO: not yet New: gp_camera_open (Camera *camera, const char *name, const char *port, GPContext *context);

    Simple open function without needing to involve libgphoto2_port.
    )

  * gp_file_set_name() and _get_name() passing in is no longer needed
    and the API will go away.

  * New gp_file_get_name_by_type() will convert a regular filename ("normal")
    into one depending on type (e.g. "raw_" prefix) and adjusted suffix
    (like ".ppm" turning into ".pgm" for grayscale previews).

  * gp_file_set_type() and gp_file_get_type() are gone, these functions
    are now implicit passed via arguments to the the put_file and
    set_file_noop() functions.

  * gp_filesystem_set_info_noop(), gp_filesystem_set_file_noop(),
    gp_filesystem_put_file(), gp_camera_folder_put_file():

    Added "filename" argument to pass in the filename. The one
    from CameraFileInfoFile and CameraFile are no longer used.

    Added "type" argument to pass in the filetype (GP_FILE_TYPE_*).

  * Adjusted to new GPPortInfo handling.

  * Rewrote gphoto2-filesys.c to be directory based (in a tree structure).
    Change should not be visibile outside of gphoto2-filesys.c.

libgphoto2_port API:
  * GPPortInfo is now abstracted and internal.

    If you need to retrieve name, path or type, use
    gp_port_info_get_xx (info, &x);
    to get the value.
    Name and path strings continue to be owned by libgphoto2_port,
    do not modify and do not free.

    You are not supposed to create / append new ones to GPPortInfoList.

  * Disk Settings have been removed from the Settings union. Should
    not affect frontends at all.

  * Started using symbol versions.

PTP2 driver:
  * Lots of improvements.
  * PTP Object management rewritten, able to do "on demand" loading.

Directory driver:
  * Use GPPortInfo instead of settings to pass basepath in.
  * Abstracted common functionality.

Build:
  * Removed dummy README file from SVN.
  * Ship README.packaging in dist tarball for the first time.
  * Allow building "all plus non-default" camlibs.
  * Fix libltdl test compile for cases with LDFLAGS defined.

Documentation:
  * Optionally (--enable-internal-docs) build internal doxygen docs
    with call graphs and all the dirty details.
  * Improved docs on how to selectively build camlibs.

Test cases:
  * Test camlib loading of both uninstalled and installed camlibs.

Patch #319 - 2015/08/19

    add a section to ctlseqs.ms discussing control sequences and
    ECMA-48, to explain why C1 controls do not occur in the decoded
    characters from UTF-8 byte streams (prompted by discussion with
    Poul-Henning Kamp).
    modify check for cursor-theme from patch #301 to also check if
    the resource Xcursor.theme is set to a nonempty value before
    fallback to xterm's own dummy theme (request by Robert Kloefkorn).
    explain in ctlseqs.ms that some keys which normally send
    SS3-prefixes are changed to CSI-prefixes if key-modifiers are
    passed as parameters (report by George Nachman).
    correct double-free of font information when multiple problems
    are found, particularly for the wide fonts loaded via the -wc
    option (report/testcase by Nelson Beebe).
    make configure option --enable-builtin-xpms actually work
    (report by William Bulley).
    correct combination of -ls and -e options for utempter
    configuration (Debian #794201).
    NetBSD build-fix for OPT_RENDERFONT versus OPT_SHIFT_FONTS
    (patch by Matthew Green, forwarded by Thomas Klausner).
    fix a few minor bugs found with Coverity.
    update pixelvector handling (patch by Ross Combs):
split pixel-based and coord-based functions with common
parts factored out to a "raw" function
add a "step" variant which loads a single PV digit
    make the graphic dirty upon resize or clear, fixing some missing
    refreshes (patch by Ross Combs)
    fixes scrolling to use user coordinates and move in the correct

Updated security/py-OpenSSL to 0.15.1

(leot)

2015-08-23 10:10:27 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update security/py-OpenSSL to py-OpenSSL-0.15.1.

pkgsrc changes:
* Update HOMEPAGE

Changes:
0.15.1:
* OpenSSL/SSL.py, OpenSSL/test/test_ssl.py: Fix a regression
  present in 0.15, where when an error occurs and no errno() is set,
  a KeyError is raised.  This happens, for example, if
  Connection.shutdown() is called when the underlying transport has
  gone away.

0.15:
* OpenSSL/rand.py, OpenSSL/SSL.py: APIs which previously accepted
  filenames only as bytes now accept them as either bytes or
  unicode (and respect sys.getfilesystemencoding()).
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: Add Cory Benfield's next-protocol-negotiation
  (NPN) bindings.
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: Add ``Connection.recv_into``, mirroring the
  builtin ``socket.recv_into``.  Based on work from Cory Benfield.
* OpenSSL/test/test_ssl.py: Add tests for ``recv_into``.
* OpenSSL/crypto.py: Expose ``X509StoreContext`` for verifying certificates.
* OpenSSL/test/test_crypto.py: Add intermediate certificates for
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: ``Connection.shutdown`` now propagates errors from the
  underlying socket.
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: Fixed a regression ``Context.check_privatekey``
  causing it to always succeed - even if it should fail.
* OpenSSL/crypto.py: Fixed a regression where calling ``load_pkcs7_data``
  with ``FILETYPE_ASN1`` would fail with a ``NameError``.
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: Fix a regression in which the first argument of
  the "verify" callback was incorrectly passed a ``Context`` instance
  instead of the ``Connection`` instance.
* OpenSSL/test/test_ssl.py: Add a test for the value passed as the
  first argument of the "verify" callback.
* OpenSSL/crypto.py: Based on work from Alex Gaynor, Andrew
  Lutomirski, Tobias Oberstein, Laurens Van Houtven, and Hynek
  Schlawack, add ``get_elliptic_curve`` and ``get_elliptic_curves``
  to support TLS ECDHE modes.
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: Add ``Context.set_tmp_ecdh`` to configure a TLS
  context with a particular elliptic curve for ECDHE modes.
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: ``Connection.send`` and ``Connection.sendall``
  now also accept the ``buffer`` type as data.
* OpenSSL/crypto.py: Make ``load_pkcs12`` backwards compatible with
  pyOpenSSL 0.13 by making passphrase optional.
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: Add ``get_finished``, ``get_peer_finished``
  methods to ``Connection``. If you use these methods to
  implement TLS channel binding (RFC 5929) disable session
  resumption because triple handshake attacks against TLS.
  <https://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/tls/current/msg11337.html>
  <https://secure-resumption.com/tlsauth.pdf>
* OpenSSL/SSL.py: Add ``get_cipher_name``, ``get_cipher_bits``,
  and ``get_cipher_version`` to ``Connection``.
* OpenSSL/tsafe.py: Replace the use of ``apply`` (which has been
  removed in Python 3) with the equivalent syntax.
* OpenSSL/crypto.py: Fix memory leak in _X509_REVOKED_dup.
* leakcheck/crypto.py: Add checks for _X509_REVOKED_dup, CRL.add_revoked
  and CRL.get_revoked.
* setup.py: Require cryptography 0.3 to have the ASN1_TIME_free binding.
* OpenSSL/crypto.py: Add ``get_extensions`` method to ``X509Req``.
