In today's qgis world, python support is simply part of qgis and building without it is close to unthinkable. python is tiny compared to qgis or even qt. The rationale for removal is that having a split PLIST, and two ways to build is some maintenance headache, and I believe that zero people want to build qgis without python. My guess is that no one has tried in years. No PKGREVISOIN++ as there is no change to the default build. module: pkgsrc subject: 'CVS commit: pkgsrc/geography/qgis' unixtime: '1621552110' user: gdt
