Setting MAKE_JOBS_UNSAFE=no was the solution. The homepage is long gone, so that was commented out. FreeBSD Ports deleted this game in 2011-04-12 (ports/151390) It has not been developed since 2000 and the game was never finished. The developer website has disappeared Pkgsrc should follow suit and also delete this subpar package.
