Import tex-nopageno-2009 as print/tex-nopageno.

LaTeX's standard styles use two page styles, one on normal pages and
one on 'opening' pages with \maketitle or \chapter, etc.
Unfortunately there is only easy access to changing one of these two
so if you want something other than 'plain' on the opening pages you
must use \thispagestyle on each such page.  The fancyhdr package does
provide a more flexible interface, but if you just want an empty page
style on all pages then this package will do the job.

Updated lang/swi-prolog to 5.11.0

(asau)

2010-05-16 18:46:11 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to SWI-Prolog 5.11.0

Notable changes in SWI-Prolog 5.11.0:

* ODBC now properly handles locale.  This means you can
use it with Unicode if you use a UTF-8 based locale.

* Recently reported manifest problems around xpce should be
  fixed with help from Degski.

* Message queues can now be destroyed while they have suspended
writers, making pipe-like cooperation between threads much easier.

* Using set_prolog_flag(qcompile, auto), you can ask the system
to automatically maintain quick-load versions of your source-files.
This can greatly improve development comfort for really large
  applications.

* Jeff Rosenwald contributed an interface for Google protocol buffers

Notable changes in SWI-Prolog 5.9.10:

* A lot of stuff has been added to enhance the compatibility to SICStus.
This involves some changes to the kernel, some additions to the libraries
and starting and populating a SICStus emulation layer.  All this was
initiated by the with to make the Alpino NLP parser suite
  (http://www.let.rug.nl/vannoord/alp/Alpino/) available for SWI-Prolog.
Thanks to Gertjan van Noord, this is now almost reality (there
are some remaining tweaks, notably with the Tcl/Tk interface).

* Also various enhancements and fixes to the tabbed-editing support for
  the built-in editor.

Updated www/ikiwiki to 3.20100515

(schmonz)

2010-05-16 12:35:09 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 3.20100515. From the changelog:

  * Removed misc.tmpl. Now to theme ikiwiki, you only need to customise
    a single template, page.tmpl.
  * If you have a locally customised page.tmpl, it needs to be updated
to set <base> when BASEURL or FORCEBAREURL is set.
  * comments: Comments pending moderation are now stored in the srcdir
alongside accepted comments, but with a `._comment_pending` extension.
This allows easier byhand moderation, as the "_pending" need
only be stripped off and the comment be committed to version control.
  * The `comment_pending()` pagespec can be used to match such unmoderated
comments, which makes it easy to add a feed of them, or a counter
    indicating how many there are.
  * Belatedly added a `comment()` pagespec.
  * Gave comment and page editing forms some CSS and accessability love.
  * Renamed postscan hook to indexhtml, to reflect its changed position,
    and typical use.
  * inline: Call indexhtml when inlining internal pages, so their
text can be indexed for searching.
  * Delete hooks are passed deleted internal pages.
  * openid: Incorporated a fancy openid-selector signin form.
    (Based on <http://code.google.com/p/openid-selector/>)
  * openid: Use "openid_identifier" as the form field, as required
    by OpenID Authentication v2.0 spec.
  * Removed the openidsignup option. Instead, my recommendation is to
leave passwordauth enabled and let people who don't have an openid use it.
The openid selector form avoids the UI annoyance of having both openid
    and passwordauth on one form.
  * calendar: Allow negative month to be specified. -1 is last month, etc.
    (And also negative years.)
  * calendar: Display year in title of month calendar.
  * Use xhtml friendly pubdate setting.
  * remove, rename: Add guards against XSRF attacks.

Added devel/p5-MooseX-FollowPBP version 0.02

This module does not provide any methods. Simply loading it changes
the default naming policy for the loading class so that accessors
are separated into get and set methods. The get methods are prefixed
with "get_" as the accessor, while set methods are prefixed with
"set_". This is the naming style recommended by Damian Conway in
Perl Best Practices.

If you define an attribute with a leading underscore, then both the
get and set method will also have an underscore prefix.

If you explicitly set a "reader" or "writer" name when creating an
attribute, then that attribute's naming scheme is left unchanged.

Changes 0.9.2:
* To compile fityk, Boost (only headers) and xylib must be installed first.
Fityk tarball does not contain a copy of boost and xylib now.
* user-defined functions: split functions can be defined in this way:
  SplitG(h, c, w1, w2) = x < c ? Gaussian(h, c, w1) : Gaussian(h, c, w2)
* added info-numeric-format option
* a couple of bug fixes

Changes 0.9.1:
* added cfityk to Windows installer
* Unix only: fitting can be interrupted by the INT signal
* changed output of "info errors", see the manual for details
* GUI: "plot in @n" changes selected datasets (useful in scripts)
* many bugs fixed

Changes 0.9.0:
* GUI: Data > Editor dialog was replaced with two dialogs: Data > Table
  and Data > Edit Transformations
* added Lua bindings (configure option --enable-lua)
* a syntax to execute output from external program: command ! program [args...]
* xyConvert (which requires wx 2.9) is built by default.
Added flag --disable-xyconvert, which must be used with wx 2.8.
* parsing of info command was rewritten, but functionality is almost the same
* bug fixes

(pettai)

2010-05-15 05:52:32 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

RRD::Simple provides a simple interface to RRDTool's RRDs module.
This module does not currently offer fetch method that is
available in the RRDs module. It does however create RRD files
with a sensible set of default RRA (Round Robin Archive)
definitions, and can dynamically add new data source names to an
existing RRD file.

This module is ideal for quick and simple storage of data within
an RRD file if you do not need to, nor want to, bother defining
custom RRA definitions.

Changes in v1.4.2 as compared to v1.4.1:

- Fixed problem when running in heterogeneous environments.
- Update LSF support to ensure that the path is passed correctly.
- Fixed some miscellaneous oversubscription detection bugs.
- IBM re-licensed its LoadLeveler code to be BSD-compliant.
- Various fixes for multithreading deadlocks, race conditions, and
  other nefarious things.
- Fixed ROMIO's handling of "nearly" contiguous issues (e.g., with
  non-zero true_lb).
- Bunches of Windows build fixes.
- Now allow the graceful failover from MTLs to BTLs if no MTLs can
  initialize successfully.

Log Message:
Update to 0.2.1.26, from maintainer Christian Sturm in PR 43302:

Changes in version 0.2.1.26 - 2010-05-02
Tor 0.2.1.26 addresses the recent connection and memory overload
problems we've been seeing on relays, especially relays with their
DirPort open. If your relay has been crashing, or you turned it off
because it used too many resources, give this release a try.

This release also fixes yet another instance of broken OpenSSL libraries
that was causing some relays to drop out of the consensus.

  o Major bugfixes:
    - Teach relays to defend themselves from connection overload. Relays
now close idle circuits early if it looks like they were intended
for directory fetches. Relays are also more aggressive about closing
TLS connections that have no circuits on them. Such circuits are
unlikely to be re-used, and tens of thousands of them were piling
up at the fast relays, causing the relays to run out of sockets
and memory. Bugfix on 0.2.0.22-rc (where clients started tunneling
      their directory fetches over TLS).
    - Fix SSL renegotiation behavior on OpenSSL versions like on Centos
that claim to be earlier than 0.9.8m, but which have in reality
backported huge swaths of 0.9.8m or 0.9.8n renegotiation
behavior. Possible fix for some cases of bug 1346.
    - Directory mirrors were fetching relay descriptors only from v2
directory authorities, rather than v3 authorities like they should.
Only 2 v2 authorities remain (compared to 7 v3 authorities), leading
to a serious bottleneck. Bugfix on 0.2.0.9-alpha. Fixes bug 1324.

  o Minor bugfixes:
    - Finally get rid of the deprecated and now harmful notion of "clique
mode", where directory authorities maintain TLS connections to
      every other relay.

  o Testsuite fixes:
    - In the util/threads test, no longer free the test_mutex before all
worker threads have finished. Bugfix on 0.2.1.6-alpha.
    - The master thread could starve the worker threads quite badly on
certain systems, causing them to run only partially in the allowed
window. This resulted in test failures. Now the master thread sleeps
occasionally for a few microseconds while the two worker-threads
compete for the mutex. Bugfix on 0.2.0.1-alpha.

STABLE RELEASE 1.1.7 :

* Fix crash in client more (regression from 1.1.6).
* Thread-safety fixes (with regards to sigaction and strerror).
* Incomplete ISATAP support removed.
In the mean time, proper support was added within the Linux kernel.
* Fix server link-local address, compatibility with Vista clients.
* Fix SIGHUP signal handling.
* Fix compiling on MacOS X and/or without libJudy.
* Fix unlikely race condition in Teredo maintenance procedure setup.
* Fix Teredo address randomization (reachability problems).
* Better debug messages.
* Allow GNU General Public License version 3 (and would be later).
* Fix filtering error within miredo-server (regression from 1.1.0).
* Fix fatal padding mistake on old ABI ARM achitecture.
* Remove NAT type determination:
Miredo now runs behind any type of NAT. However, connectivity might
be severely degraded behind the worst devices, such as symmetric NATs.
* Add 12 bits of randomness to Teredo client address:
Teredo addresses are less predictible, which should enhance host
  protection against network scanning.
* Remove brittle and battery-unfriendly "autoclient" mode:
Proper default IPv6 source address selection (RFC3484) implementation
would address most of the use cases for this, as well as other issues.
If that is not sufficient, an external connection management system
is anyway needed to start/stop Miredo when appropriate.
* Restore "cone" RelayType:
All relays should use it, as it improves support for some kinds of
(pretty broken but nevertheless deployed) NAT devices.
* Use a hook shell script for client interface configuration.
* Add a bunch of debug messages to debug builds.
* Rewrite clock subsystem to avoid polling when idle (battery savings).

Updated lang/chicken to 4.5.0

(asau)

2010-05-13 19:32:03 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to Chicken 4.5.0.
Submitted by Peter Bex on IRC.

Changes in 4.5.0

- internal fixes of handling of alternative installation-prefix
  in setup-api
- certain compiler-warnings that are in really just notes
and don't indicate a possible error (like reimport of
identifiers) are only shown with -S or in verbose mode
- fixed handling of VARDIR in `chicken-install' (thanks to
  Davide Puricelli)
- `chicken-install -test' doesn't runs tests for dependencies
- when a non-else clause follows an else-clause in `cond',
`case' or `select' a warning (note) is shown in verbose
  mode
- removed the deprecated `define-extension' and
  `define-compiled-syntax'
- `chicken-uninstall' now always asks before removing
  extensions, unless `-force' is given
- improved performance of keyword-argument processing slightly
- `export' outside of a module definition has no effect
- `number->string' now accepts arbitrary bases between 2 and 16
  (thanks to Christian Kellermann)
- fixed `standard-extension' in `setup-api' module
- literal constants keep their identity, even when inlined
- Unit library: added `fxodd?' and `fxeven?'
- All hardcoded special forms have been replaced with
syntax definitions that expand into internal forms, this
allows redefinition and shadowing of all Scheme core forms
- faster implementations of `get' and `put!'
- faster implementation of `assq' in unsafe mode
- the `-sx' option prefixes each output line with `;'
- slightly better expansion performance
- more documentation of the C API (thanks to Peter Bex)
- `module' supports a shorthand form that refers directly
to a file to be included as the module body
- added runtime option `-:G' to force GUI mode (on platforms
that distinguish between GUI and non-GUI applications)
- removed the unsafe runtime library (`libuchicken'), this
simplifies and speeds up the build and reduces the risk
of executables loading library units from different
  variants of the runtime system
- removed the `-unsafe-libraries' option from `chicken'
  and `csc'
- removed bootstrapping target and bootstrapping files from
development repository; to bootstrap the system, either
use a release or development-snapshot tarball or fetch
a statically linked precompiled `chicken' binary from
  http://chicken.wiki.br/chicken-projects/bootstrap/
- Jim Ursetto provided some fixes for building universal
  binaries on Mac OS X
- `csc' now compiles and links Windows resource (.rc) files
when given on the command line
- `chicken-install' and `chicken-uninstall' have an embedded
manifest that suppresses the elevation dialog on Windows
Vista and later when UAC is activated (Thanks to Thomas Chust)
- the `install' program is not used in the build on mingw
and mingw/MSYS platforms, since this is broken on older
  mingw versions
- line-number-information is now properly handled (in the
  few places where it is used) correctly for included files;
the source file is given in trace-output in addition to
  the line number
- removed compiler warning for shared objects compiled in
  unsafe mode
- unboxing is now only done in unsafe mode
- in unsafe mode, pointer-accessors from the `lolevel' unit
are now handled intrinsically by the compiler
- `chicken-install' accepts now relative pathnames for the
  `-prefix' option
- `define-record-type' now optionally allows using SRFI-17
  setters as record-field modifiers
- `integer?' returns `#f' for NaN and infinite numbers
- `csc' now has an `-no-elevation' option for embedding a
manifest that prevents the elevation dialog on Windows
Vista and later when IAC is activated
- the `,d' csi command displays qualified symbols properly
- symbols starting with the `#\#' character trigger an
error when encountered by the reader
- Unit posix: `glob->regexp' now always returns a regular
expression object or optionally an SRE
- Unit posix: `terminal-port?' and `terminal-size' have been
implemented for Windows, the latter always returns `0 0',
  though (thanks to Jim Ursetto)
- Unit regex: `regexp' now accepts a regular expression
  object as argument
- Unit regex: removed `glob?'
- fixed bug in `chicken-install'/`chicken-uninstall' and
  `chicken-status' that prevented collapsed command-line
  options to be handled correctly.
- disabled runpath-fix for deployed applications for netbsd
(but resurrected providing a runpath at all, thanks to
  Peter Bex)
- Peter Bex provided documentation for the `C_closure' C API
  function

Updated emulators/gxemul to 0.6.0

(tsutsui)

2010-05-13 14:48:54 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update gxemul to 0.6.0. Okay'ed by wiz@, in PR pkg/43296 by me.

---
The main change between release 0.4.7.2 and 0.6.0 is:

* Since late 2007, a complete rewrite of the emulator's base framework
has been going on. GXemul 0.6.0 is a very early release of the new
framework. So far, only the testm88k machine mode has been rewritten
to use the new framework, all other machine modes run in legacy mode
using the old framework (which is still included).

In other words: For most emulation modes, 0.6.0 will be exactly
  like 0.4.7.2.

In addition to the new framework, a couple of other changes are
worth mentioning:

* Many unused, rarely used, and bogus emulation modes and features
were removed, to reduce the maintenance burden.

* Some operating systems listed on the guest OS page have had
new releases; the documentation has been updated to reflect this.

* New source code (but not the legacy part) is documented using
Doxygen comments, and there is a unit testing framework in place.

* There is now finally an install Makefile target, and the -j make
option can be used to parallelize builds.

Please read the HISTORY file for more details.

Also update pkgsrc files:
* update COMMENT and DESCR per the latest release note
* remove MAKE_JOBS_SAFE=no as mentioned in the above changes list.

Log Message:
Changes 8.4.3:
* Add new configuration parameter ssl_renegotiation_limit to control
how often we do session key renegotiation for an SSL connection
* Fix possible deadlock during backend startup
* Fix possible crashes due to not handling errors during relcache
  reload cleanly
* Fix possible crash due to use of dangling pointer to a cached plan
* Fix possible crash due to overenthusiastic invalidation of cached
  plan for "ROLLBACK"
* Fix possible crashes when trying to recover from a failure in
  subtransaction start
* Fix server memory leak associated with use of savepoints and a
client encoding different from server's encoding
* Fix incorrect WAL data emitted during end-of-recovery cleanup of a
  GIST index page split
* Fix bug in WAL redo cleanup method for GIN indexes
* Fix incorrect comparison of scan key in GIN index search
* Make substring() for bit types treat any negative length as meaning
"all the rest of the string"
The previous coding treated only -1 that way, and would produce an
invalid result value for other negative values, possibly leading to
  a crash (CVE-2010-0442).
* Fix integer-to-bit-string conversions to handle the first
fractional byte correctly when the output bit width is wider than
the given integer by something other than a multiple of 8 bits
* Fix some cases of pathologically slow regular expression matching
* Fix bug occurring when trying to inline a SQL function that returns
a set of a composite type that contains dropped columns
* Fix bug with trying to update a field of an element of a
  composite-type array column
* Avoid failure when "EXPLAIN" has to print a FieldStore or
  assignment ArrayRef expression
These cases can arise now that "EXPLAIN VERBOSE" tries to print
  plan node target lists.
* Avoid an unnecessary coercion failure in some cases where an
undecorated literal string appears in a subquery within
  "UNION"/"INTERSECT"/"EXCEPT"
This fixes a regression for some cases that worked before 8.4.
* Avoid undesirable rowtype compatibility check failures in some
cases where a whole-row Var has a rowtype that contains dropped
  columns
* Fix the STOP WAL LOCATION entry in backup history files to report
the next WAL segment's name when the end location is exactly at a
  segment boundary
* Always pass the catalog ID to an option validator function
specified in "CREATE FOREIGN DATA WRAPPER"
* Fix some more cases of temporary-file leakage
* Add support for doing FULL JOIN ON FALSE
* Improve constraint exclusion processing of boolean-variable cases,
in particular make it possible to exclude a partition that has a
  "bool_column = false" constraint
* Prevent treating an INOUT cast as representing binary compatibility
* Include column name in the message when warning about inability to
  grant or revoke column-level privileges
This is more useful than before and helps to prevent confusion when
a "REVOKE" generates multiple messages, which formerly appeared to
  be duplicates.
* When reading "pg_hba.conf" and related files, do not treat
@something as a file inclusion request if the @ appears inside
quote marks; also, never treat @ by itself as a file inclusion
  request
* Prevent infinite loop on some platforms if a directory is named as
an inclusion target in "pg_hba.conf" and related files
* Fix possible infinite loop if SSL_read or SSL_write fails without
  setting errno
This is reportedly possible with some Windows versions of openssl.
* Disallow GSSAPI authentication on local connections, since it
requires a hostname to function correctly
* Protect ecpg against applications freeing strings unexpectedly
* Make ecpg report the proper SQLSTATE if the connection disappears
* Fix translation of cell contents in psql \d output
* Fix psql's numericlocale option to not format strings it shouldn't
in latex and troff output formats
* Fix a small per-query memory leak in psql
* Make psql return the correct exit status (3) when ON_ERROR_STOP and
--single-transaction are both specified and an error occurs during
  the implied "COMMIT"
* Fix pg_dump's output of permissions for foreign servers
* Fix possible crash in parallel pg_restore due to out-of-range
  dependency IDs
* Fix plpgsql failure in one case where a composite column is set to NULL
* Fix possible failure when calling PL/Perl functions from PL/PerlU
  or vice versa
* Add volatile markings in PL/Python to avoid possible
  compiler-specific misbehavior
* Ensure PL/Tcl initializes the Tcl interpreter fully
The only known symptom of this oversight is that the Tcl clock
command misbehaves if using Tcl 8.5 or later.
* Prevent ExecutorEnd from being run on portals created within a
  failed transaction or subtransaction
This is known to cause issues when using "contrib/auto_explain".
* Prevent crash in "contrib/dblink" when too many key columns are
  specified to a dblink_build_sql_* function
* Allow zero-dimensional arrays in "contrib/ltree" operations
* Fix assorted crashes in "contrib/xml2" caused by sloppy memory
  management
* Make building of "contrib/xml2" more robust on Windows
* Fix race condition in Windows signal handling
One known symptom of this bug is that rows in pg_listener could be
  dropped under heavy load.
* Make the configure script report failure if the C compiler does not
provide a working 64-bit integer datatype
This case has been broken for some time, and no longer seems worth
supporting, so just reject it at configure time instead.
* Update time zone data files to tzdata release 2010e for DST law
changes in Bangladesh, Chile, Fiji, Mexico, Paraguay, Samoa.

bootstrap-mk-files - make SunOS gcc builds use gnu cpp not gcc -E

(tez)

2010-05-12 20:57:46 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

In SunOS, use cpp rather than ${CC} -E, as gcc -E is broken.

If /usr/ucb/lib/cpp is in the path before gnu cpp this could break things
but that is not an expected situation.  The only executable in /usr/ucb/lib
is cpp, so there is no other reason to add it to the path.

This should fix PR#42624
