Updated mail/postfix to 2.6.2

Postfix stable release 2.6.2 fixes one defect in SASL support.
This does not affect Postfix versions 2.5 and earlier.

With plaintext SMTP sessions AND smtpd_tls_auth_only=yes AND
smtp_sasl_auth_enable=yes, the SMTP server logged warnings for
reject_*_sender_login_mismatch, instead of enforcing them.

You can find Postfix version 2.6.2 at the mirrors listed at
http://www.postfix.org/

The same fix is also available in Postfix snapshot 2.7-20090528.
Postfix versions 2.5 and earlier are not affected.

Updated shells/mksh to 38b

(ahoka)

2009-06-03 13:46:03 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to mksh R38b:

mksh R38b fixes the following problems:

    *  [André Wösten] Add __NO_EXT_QNX to avoid picking up the wrong
        waitfor() from <libutil.h> in (while porting to) QNX 6.4

    *  [tg] Plug memory corruption issue introduced in R38

    *  [tg] Amend dot.mkshrc with a base64 en-/decoder in shell

    *  [tg] Import a manpage fix via OpenBSD from Alan R. S. Bueno

mksh R38 comes with these changes and fixes applied:

    *  [tg] Improve regression test output debugging

    *  [tg] Fix <libutil.h> prerequisites on MidnightBSD in mirtoconf

    *  [tg] Mention that RedHat BZ#496791 cannot currently be fixed in the
        manpage by discouraging use of apostrophes in comments in comsubs; add
        appropriate (expected-fail) regression tests

    *  [tg] Sync with OpenBSD ksh (mostly a no-op)

    *  [James Butler] Add search-history-up and search-history-down keybindings
        (tcsh-like) to the Emacs command line editing mode

    *  [tg] Bind new search-history-{up,down} to ANSI PgUp and PgDn keys

    *  [tg] Document ANSI default keybindings (↑↓←→ Home End Del PgUp PgDn)
        in the mksh(1) manual page as well

    *  [tg] Optimise internal UTF-8 handling code for size and reusability

    *  [tg] Incompatible change: ${foo:1:2} and ${#foo} now
        operate on characters, not on bytes. Characters are octets (set +U)
        or (utf8-mode) MirOS OPTU-8 multibyte characters (set -U)

    *  [tg] Improve regression tests relating to ${foo:1:2} and
        ${#foo} and let wc=1#x and utf8-mode

    *  [tg] Use per-file copyright notices, move global text to manpage

    *  [tg] Expose new MKSH_MIDNIGHTBSD01ASH_COMPAT ifdef; change it to
        only trigger if FPOSIX (or MKSH_BINSHREDUCED and /bin/sh)

    *  [tg] Remove already-dead “#if 0” style debugging code

    *  [tg] Change some code into a more portable fashion, optimise

    *  [tg] Allow [[ $foo ]] (ksh93 extension) mentioned by pgas

    *  [tg] Clean up mksh and the contributed arc4random.c for some
        conversion, enum and other warnings for gcc-snapshot trunk r147610

    *  [tg] Ensure no function uses more than 768 bytes of stack either

    *  [tg, wbx] Add extension to make “!string” lines work like in GNU bash

Remove build dependency on gtk-doc, related to PR#41475.

It comes from upstream Bug#562310:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=562310
Availability detection of `gtkdoc-rebase' command is depend on the behaviour
of `which' command,  if `which gtkdoc-rebase' return false, do nothing.
It is known as not works as expected on Darwin and Solaris, then failed in
unwanted gtkdoc-rebase execution, and abort.

It is already fixed in upstream gtk-doc repository, but not released yet(1.12?).
So, some packages may contain and be using un-fixed gtk-doc.* files.

For easy to determine whether it is fixed or not, check gtk-doc.make contains
following commit (not using 'which gtkdoc-rebase', but $(GTKDOC_REBASE) macro):

http://git.gnome.org./cgit/gtk-doc/commit/?id=ef5f56ca5fd4a077e6f7a374e8dd333b7a6a8d42

Update to Dovecot 1.1.16.

Fixes a couple of bugs in v1.1.15's changes. Hopefully the last v1.1 release
before v1.2.0.

- v1.1.15 could have crashed if mailbox-closing command was pipelined after a
  mailbox-accessing command.
- v1.1.15's zlib plugin may have caused crashes when fetching INTERNALDATE.
- Maildir: If messages had been deleted externally from new/ directory and
  mailbox was opened with EXAMINE, Dovecot didn't immediately notice that the
  messages were deleted.
- If message body started with a space, some operations could have assert-
  crashed.

Updated mail/mailman to 2.1.12

(adam)

2009-06-03 06:58:55 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Changes 2.1.12:
* Fix compatibility with Python 2.6.
* Fixed a bug in admin.py which would result in chunked pages of the
  membership list for members whose address begins with a non-alphanumeric
  character to not be visible or retrievable.
* Changed ListAdmin.py to make rejected post messages From: the -owner
  address instead of the -bounces address.
* With MTA = 'Postfix', if the STANZA END for a list being removed is
  missing or munged, the remainder of the aliases and/or virtual-mailman
  file is lost. Fixed.
* Since Mailman 2.1.1, 2.0.x outstanding subscription and held message
  requests have not been migrated properly. This is fixed.
* Changed cron/gate_news to continue processing the remaining lists on
  certain errors that can be caused by configuration of a particular list.
* Fixed a bug in AvoidDuplicates.py that caused it to fail if the address
  in the To: or Cc: header differed in case from the case-preserved member
  address.
* Fixed a problem in SecurityManager that caused it to not find the
  cookie when CheckCookie was not given a user and the user in the cookie
  had a %xx encoded character.
* Fixed a minor fromusenet reporting issue in the contributed mmdsr
  script.
* Fixed a minor issue in cron/gate_news that could cause a list's
  watermark to not be completely updated.
* Fixed an issue that prevented editing the options.html template from
  the web admin interface.
* Fixed a problem in Decorate which could throw a TypeError on conversion
  to unicode of a header/footer that was already unicode because of
  interpolating a unicode value.
* Fixed an issue where list creation would report bad owner email
  instead of bad listname when the list name had non-ascii characters.
* Updated Dutch, Catalan and Polish translations.

Updated devel/p5-ExtUtils-MakeMaker to 6.52

(sno)

2009-06-02 07:21:48 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

pkgsrc changes:
  - Updating package for p5 module ExtUtils::MakeMaker from 6.50 to 6.52
  - remove patches/patch-af, 40698 seems to be solved upstream except
    t/INSTALL_BASE.t, which may marked invalid as belonging to fix for
    RT #40698

Upstream changes:
6.52  Sat May 30 11:22:04 PDT 2009
    Docs
    * Documented CONFIGURE_REQUIRES (Alexandr Ciornii)
    * Modnerized the docs for PREREQ_PM

6.51_04  Sun May 24 14:04:11 PDT 2009
    Other
    * All work on INSTALLHTML* has been reverted pending a fix for
      [rt.cpan.org 45600]

6.51_03  Sat May 23 22:38:26 PDT 2009
    Bug Fixes
    * Building *.C files was broken in 6.37. [rt.cpan.org 45557]
      Thanks to Rajesh Mandalemula for spotting it.
    New Features
    * Optional parameter CONFIGURE_REQUIRES was added, to control
      this section in META.yml (Alexandr Ciornii)

6.51_02  Mon Apr 13 21:19:56 PDT 2009
    Bug Fixes
    * Fix a minor bug with the new PERM_DIR stuff which caused EUI to think
      PERM_DIR was an install skip file.
    * A Win32 function call in the last alpha broke Win32 builds.

6.51_01  Fri Apr 10 14:30:27 PDT 2009
    New Features
    * Module installation will not be stopped by a broken Pod::Man.
      Man pages will just not be installed.
      [rt.cpan.org 43546] (Jesse Vincent)
    * vim swap files, *.swp, will now be ignored by MakeMaker.
    * Added PERM_DIR to control permissions on directories.
      [rt.cpan.org 3927] (Rajesh Mandalemula)

    Feature Changes
    * Modules in PREREQ_PM are no longer loaded in order to figure out
      their version.  parse_version() is used instead.
      [rt.cpan.org 44646]
    * PPD files generated with "make ppd" now use the new REQUIRES key
      rather than the now deprecated DEPENDENCY.
      [rt.cpan.org 25179] (GAAS)
    * PPD files no longer contain the deprecated OS tag.
    * fixin is a bit less restrictive allowing things like
      #!perl5.8.8 and #!perl-debug [rt.cpan.org 29442]
    * Remove the unused perm_rw() and perm_rwx() methods.

    Bug Fixes
    * On 5.10 "make ppd" would generate the wrong ARCHITECTURE saying the
      version is 5.1 instead of 5.10.
    * Our pod2man emulation now requires an argument to --perm_rw.
      [rt.cpan.org 35190] (imacat)
    * DISTVNAME was documented as a WriteMakefile() param but you'd
      get a warning if you tried to use it.  [rt.cpan.org 43217]
    * Better support for parallel make installs.
      [rt.cpan.org 32758] (Brendan O'Dea)
    * parse_version() will now skip uses of $VERSION in conditions
      [rt.cpan.org 9452] (jc@unser.net)
    * The architecture mismatch warning could show up on Win32 due
      to long vs short filenames being used to compare.
      [rt.cpan.org 33532] (DAGOLDEN)
    * maybe_command() will recognize Windows executables in
      /cygdrive on Cygwin [rt.cpan.org 16375] (PJF)
    * parse_version() will now look for the first use of $VERSION
      that results in $VERSION being set.

    Test Fixes
    * basic.t will not leave a "bin" environment variable defined on VMS.
      [rt.cpan.org 42150] (John E. Malmberg)
    * Made the tests work ok on systems whose makes assume that files which
      have the same mod time are out of date.  This is often the case for
      the tests which generate files and run make rapidly.
      [rt.cpan.org 29955] (Ken Hirsch)
    * skip test numbers were wrong on VMS in t/basic.t
      [rt.cpan.org 43511] (John E. Malmberg)

    Portability
    * Removed a few hard coded uses of the "false" command.
      [rt.cpan.org 44504]

    VMS
    * Fixed a few calls to catfile() that should be catdir().
      (John E. Malmberg)
    * Override catdir() and catfile() to expand macros.  This is normally done
      inside File::Spec::VMS but is really a MakeMaker-only thing.
      (John E. Malmberg)

    Other
    * Remove ExtUtils::MakeMaker::bytes and vmsish which are unused and
      seem to never have been used.
    * Repository now on github.

Update to 3.13. From the changelog:

You may want to run ikiwiki-transition deduplinks my.setup after
upgrading to this version of ikiwiki. This command will optimise
your wiki's saved state, removing duplicate information that can
slow ikiwiki down.

* ikiwiki-transition: If passed a nonexistant srcdir, or one not
    containing .ikiwiki, abort with an error rather than creating it.
* Allow underlaydir to be overridden without messing up inclusion
    of other underlays via add_underlay.
* More friendly display of markdown, textile in edit form selector (jmtd)
* Allow curly braces to be used in pagespecs, and avoid a whole
    class of potential security problems, by avoiding performing
    any string interpolation on user-supplied data when translating
    pagespecs.
* ikiwiki-transition: Allow setup files to be passed to all subcommands
    that need a srcdir.
* ikiwiki-transition: deduplinks was broken and threw away all
    metadata stored by plugins in the index. Fix this bug.
* listdirectives: Avoid listing _comment directives and generally
    assume any directive starting with _ is likewise internal.
* Re-enable python-support and add python:Depends to control file.
* ikiwiki-makerepo: Avoid using abs_path, as it apparently fails
    on nonexistant directories with some broken perl versions.
* inline: Minor optimisation.
* add_link: New function, which plugins should use rather than
    modifying %links directly, to avoid it accumulating duplicates.
* ikiwiki-transition: Add a deduplinks action, that can be used to
    remove duplicate links and optimise a wiki w/o rebuilding it.
* external: Fix pagespec_match and pagespec_match_list. Closes: #527281

Update netpgp package from version 20090525 to 20090531.

CHANGES 1.99.7 -> 1.99.8

+ get rid of __ops_malloc_passphrase() - strdup() works just as well
+ generalise __ops_seckey_forget() to become __ops_forget(), give it a size
  parameter, and make it work on things other than secret keys (passphrases
  for instance)
+ minor struct field enum renaming
+ minor function call renaming
+ add ops_io_t struct to hold pointers to IO streams, and pass it down
  where necessary

CHANGES 1.99.6 -> 1.99.7

+ added to the regression tests
+ get rid of some magic constants, replace with more obvious names
+ zero out the memory used for a passphrase before freeing it in one place

CHANGES 1.99.5 -> 1.99.6

+ made --homedir=d consistent with POLS. Default is $HOME/.gnupg, and
  if a directory is specified with --homedir=d, the directory containing
  conf file and keyrings is taken to be "d".

CHANGES 1.99.4 -> 1.99.5

+ Luke Mewburn completely overhauled the auto tools infrastructure
+ changed signature (hah!) of some netpgp file management prototypes to
  use const char * for file names and user ids, not char * - suggested by
  christos
+ change some of the openpgpsdk display functions to return integer values,
  and send those values back from the netpgp functions - suggested by
  christos
+ rather than passing a shedload of variables to netpgp_init(), get rid
  of them, and set variables using the netpgp_[gs]etvar() interface
+ replace some magic constants with descriptive names
+ use a netpgp variable to skip userid checks if necessary
+ add ability to allow coredumps via --coredumps if (a) you have taken
  leave of your sanity, and (b) you have some magical persistent
  storage which doesn't spare sectors, and (c) you know how to remove
  a file securely
+ bumped library version on NetBSD to 1.0 for interface changes

(obache)

2009-05-30 01:25:19 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update gmpc to 0.18.0.
Based on PR#41471 by Guillaume Lasmayous.

Pkgsrc changes:
* LICENSE=gnu-gpl-v2

  metadata browser. e.g. Wikipedia links are now included by default.

  MPD from git allows you to attach "stickers" to songs. GMPC can use this to
  rate songs.
  This is still very basic and will improve when stickers in mpd evolves.
* Server Information Page
  The serverstats plugin is now integrated into gmpc. This provides several
  statistics about your mpd database and configuration.

Update from version 0.3.1 to 0.9.

Reviewed and tested by wiz@.

Pkgsrc changes:
o Adapt the large set of diffs to the new version.
o Depend directly on cairo and turn off the use of the ancient
  version of cairo embedded in the distribution.  (Caused build
  failures with a newer cairo installed from pkgsrc.)
