OpenSC provides a set of libraries and utilities to access smart cards.
Its main focus is on cards that support cryptographic operations, and
facilitate their use in security applications such as mail encryption,
authentication, and digital signature. OpenSC implements the PKCS#11 API
so applications supporting this API such as Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird
can use it. OpenSC implements the PKCS#15 standard and aims to be compatible
with every software that does so, too.

Drivers for several smart card readers. OpenCT comes as driver in ifdhandler
format for PC/SC-Lite, as CT-API driver, or as a small and lean middleware,
so applications can use it with minimal overhead. OpenCT also has a primitive
mechanism to export smart card readers to remote machines via TCP/IP.

Updated converters/p5-Text-Iconv to 1.7 - from Jens Rehsack

(abs)

2009-02-26 08:46:33 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Updated converters/p5-Text-Iconv to 1.7

1.5  Thu Aug 30 14:42:08 CEST 2007
- Various small changes to make Text::Iconv compile on OpenVMS
(based on a patch by Peter (Stig) Edwards)
- Output buffer was always initialized to 5 bytes--this was
just for testing, but I'd forgotten to revert back to the
original code (detected via a bug report by Aldo LeTellier).

1.6  Sat Oct 13 00:16:30 CEST 2007
- Makefile.PL now uses File::Spec to portably specify the null
device.  This should make it possible to build Text::Iconv
on Windows "out of the box".
- Added get_attr() and set_attr() methods.  They provide an
interface to the iconvctl() function of GNU libiconv.

1.7  Wed Oct 17 15:49:56 CEST 2007
- Makefile.PL now explicitly declares "use 5.006;" since it
uses functionality like delete() for array elements.
- In Iconv.xs, moved the variable declarations in
ti_set_attr() and ti_get_attr() into the PREINIT: section.
This makes it possible to compile it using gcc 2.96.

Added devel/p5-Tee version 0.13

(sno)

2009-02-26 08:12:26 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

The Tee distribution provides the ptee program, a pure Perl emulation of the
standard GNU tool tee. It is designed to be a platform-independent
replacement for operating systems without a native tee program. As with tee,
it passes input received on STDIN through to STDOUT while also writing a copy
of the input to one or more files. By default, files will be overwritten.

Unlike tee, ptee does not support ignoring interrupts, as signal handling is
not sufficiently portable.

The Tee module provides a convenience function that may be used in place of
system() to redirect commands through ptee.

2009-02-25 22:33:47 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Provides two functions to show reference counts of Perl objects.

This can be handy when testing/debugging and you want to know what the heck
is going on.

This is a trivial module. The documentation is longer than the code. Heck,
the BSD license at the top of the file is longer than the code. It took
longer to make it release-ready than it took to write it.

Provides:
  - refcount
  - refcount_sv

This module provides tracking of objects, for the purpose of detecting
memory leaks due to circular references or innappropriate caching schemes.

Object tracking can be enabled on a per object basis. Any objects thus
tracked are remembered until DESTROYed; details of any objects left are
printed out to stderr at END-time.

  use Devel::Leak::Object qw(GLOBAL_bless);

This form overloads bless to track construction and destruction of all
objects. As an alternative, by importing bless, you can just track the
objects of the caller code that is doing the use.

If you use GLOBAL_bless to overload the bless function, please note that it
will ONLY apply to bless for modules loaded AFTER Devel::Leak::Object has
enabled the hook.

This module implements set_sig_handler(), which sets up a signal handler and
(optionally) returns an object which causes the signal handler to be reset
to the previous value, when it goes out of scope.

Also implemented is timeout_call() which takes a timeout value and a code
reference, and executes the code reference wrapped with an alarm timeout.

Finally, two convenience routines are defined which allow one to get the
signal name from the number -- sig_name(), and get the signal number from
the name -- sig_number().

Provide a new startup script based on a patch supplied by Roy Marples:
1.) On platforms which provide "/etc/rc.subr" we use its process id check
to figure out when Apache actually has been stopped.
2.) On other platforms we just implement "restart" by "stop and a 10 second
delay followed by "start". If you want a better fix for please submit
a bug report to the Apache project.

This finally fixes PR pkg/39713.

Updated emulators/mednafen to 0.8.11

(wiz)

2009-02-25 13:16:47 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 0.8.B, and set PKGVERSION to 0.8.11 to avoid confusion.

0.8.B:

Fixed the rectangle calculation for screen rotation with Lynx and
WonderSwan to use X scale and Y scale values appropriately (they
were reversed before; also, assuming square pixels on your monitor
;)).  Rotation still poses a problem in fullscreen with the default
settings, however.

Fixed an off-by-one error in the software SDL graphics rotation
code (used for Lynx and WonderSwan).

Fixed a race condition that could cause rapid oscillation between
fullscreen and windowed when trying to toggle it.
...and fixed a race condition that could cause oscillations when
rotating the screen with Lynx and WonderSwan emulation.

SexyAL:  The return values of ALSA functions are now treated as
errors only if they're less than 0, rather than non-zero as before.
Thanks to R.L. for pointing this out.

The default "nethost" setting is now "fobby.net" instead of
"mednafen.com".  The latter was allowed to expire and lost to domain
squatters some time ago.  Domain squatters cause desires to commit
grievous face-stabbing.  However, the netplay server on "fobby.net"
is not guaranteed to be up. :p

PCE:  Added the ability to load a custom colormap(palette) by
setting "pce.colormap" to the path of the colormap file.  The
colormap consists of either 512 or 1024 RGB triplets, 8-bits per
color component, in the order R,G,B,R,G,B,R,G,B,... .  It is
recommended that the colormap provide all 1024 entries(the first
512 entries are for normal mode, the second 512 entries are for
grayscale/strip-colorburst mode). If it doesn't, Mednafen will
calculate the grayscale colors using a formula similar to that used
with the real VCE, but with more precision.  The colormap may be
disabled by setting the "pce.colormap" setting to an empty string,
or 0.  Command-line examples:

mednafen -pce.colormap /path/to/blueblue.cmap /yarr/pirate/booty.pce [Enable]

mednafen -pce.colormap 0 /some/where/over/the/rainbow/islands.cue [Disable]

PCE:  Added a hack to fix games that try to write to VRAM while
VRAM DMA is in progress (fixes graphical glitches in "Crest of Wolf",
maybe others too?).  This could potentially cause regressions, so
please post any on the forum.

PCE: Having "pce.forcesgx" set to 1 with non-SuperGrafx games will
no longer cause problems with display timing(and positioning).
However, this doesn't fix the underlying issue, and any demos that
set the horizontal and vertical timing registers differently on
each VDC won't operate as they would on a real SuperGrafx.  (This
could affect commercial SuperGrafx games, but AFAIK they keep the
VDC timings the same).  NOTE: Setting "pce.forcesgx" to 1 is still
not recommended, the preferred way of forcing a game/demo to enable
SuperGrafx emulation is by giving it a file extension of "sgx".

PCE: Arcade Card RAM is now initialized to 0 on allocation(it was
erroneously being left uninitialized before).

PCE: Added Arcade Card RAM to the memory editor in the debugger.

PCE: Fixed the BRAM initialization (it was wrong, and generated from
when Mednafen erroneously emulated 8KiB of BRAM).  Fixes lockups
in "Sorcerian".  Note that if you have any existing save states or
battery-backed RAM files for "Sorcerian" in "sav" or "mcs" under
Mednafen's base directory from when you attempted to run "Sorcerian",
you will need to delete them for this fix to have any effect.

PCE: Reduced the mirroring address space range of the Arcade Card
register mapping in HuC6280 banks 0x40-0x43.  It was mirrored
throughout 0x40-0x4F, now it's only mirrored at 0x40-0x47.  It may
not be mirrored at all with a real Arcade Card, tests need to be
performed!
Fixes a crashing bug in "Linda Cubed" early into gameplay.

WonderSwan: Fixed a bug that made it impossible to push a direction
on one D-pad while the opposing direction was being pressed on the
other D-pad.

+ Doc : A somewhat better introduction. The FUNCTION section was moved
before CONSTANTS and HISTORY since it's more important. And
'assignation' is really 'assignment', says Ricardo. :)
+ Fix : The op_info features are now thread safe.
+ Fix : Segfaults that occured when trying to get the op name during
                global destruction.
+ Fix : Segfaults and wrong "Unknown error" exceptions that happened
when dieing in require caused a free callback to fire.
                Thanks Florian Ragwitz for reporting.

0.30    2009-02-12 17:05 UTC
+ Add : You can now get in all the callbacks either the name or a B::OP
object representing the current op if you pass the new 'op_info'
option to wizard() with respective values VMG_OP_INFO_NAME and
                VMG_OP_INFO_OBJECT.
+ Doc : Document magic on array/hashes values.
+ Fix : Completely skip free callbacks during global destruction.
+ Tst : Tests now pass again on 5.8.3 and lower (they were broken since
                0.27).
+ Tst : Test magic on symbol table and on array/hash values.

0.29    2009-02-08 11:10 UTC
+ Add : Set $_[2] to the default length for len magic on scalars.
        + Chg : Perl 5.8 is required.
+ Chg : The CLONE method will no longer be defined for non-threaded
                perls.
        + Doc : Nits.
+ Fix : The logic for turning off the GMAGICAL flag on hashes when no
uvar magic is involved could do nasty things on tied hashes.
        + Upd : More resources in META.yml.

0.28    2009-01-24 17:05 UTC
+ Add : The 'copy_key' option to wizard(), that enables the safe edition
of $_[2] in uvar callbacks to redirect actions to another key.
+ Fix : Exception objects thrown from callbacks at compile time were not
                available in $@.
+ Fix : free callbacks triggered during global destruction could lead to
segfaults because the wizard was already freed.
+ Fix : Refcount of scalars with free callback.
+ Fix : Segfaults when using get or uvar magic simultaneously with clear
                magic.
+ Doc : The documentation about what the callbacks take and should
                return is now somewhat clearer.

(wiz)

2009-02-24 20:41:46 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.20.1:

VERSION 1.20.1
==============

A packaging error made it necessary to publish this release.  No
user-visible changes.

VERSION 1.20
============

Groff
-----

o XHTML support has been added to grohtml and can be specified by
-Txhtml.  This option also utilizes the MathML capability of
eqn and combines the outputs of both in the final XHTML file.
Users can also specify the `-P-V' option together with `-Txhtml'
in groff.  This has the effect of creating an XHTML validator
button at the bottom of each page.

o Some options have been added to control a new preprocessor,
`preconv' (see below): `-k' activates it, `-K' sets the input
encoding, and `-D' sets the default encoding.

o A new environment variable `GROFF_ENCODING' sets the encoding
of input files; it implies command option `-k'.

Troff
-----

o Two new requests `device' and `devicem' have been added which are
equivalents to the \X and \Y escapes, respectively.

o A new read-only number register `.br' is available which is set to 1
if a macro is called as .foo and to 0 if called as 'foo.  This allows to
  reliably modify requests.

    .als bp@orig bp
    .de bp
    .  tm before bp
    .  ie \\n[.br] .bp@orig
    .  el 'bp@orig
    .  tm after bp
    ..

o A new request `fzoom' has been added to adjust the optical size of a
font in relation to the others.  The zoom factor is given in integer
multiples of 1/1000th.  In the following example, the CR font is
magnified by 10% (the zoom factor is 1.1).

    .fam P
    .fzoom CR 1100
    .ps 12
    Palatino and \f[CR]Courier\f[]

The new number register `.zoom' holds the zoom value of the current font,
  in multiples of 1/1000th.

o The `cflags' request has been extended with a new flag value 64, to be
used in combination with values 2 (break before character) and 4 (break
after character).  If set, the hyphenation codes of the surrounding
  characters are ignored.

o A new debugging request, `pev', has been added to print all of the current
known environments to stderr.  It first prints the state of the current
environment, then iterates through all of the known environments, printing
each except the one that is current.

o A new escape `\$^' has been added.  It represents the parameters of a
macro as if they were an argument to the `ds' request.  This is used by
  `trace.tmac'.

o A new read-only number register `.O' is available which returns the
current suppression level as set by the `\O' escape.

o The space width emitted by the `\|' and `\^' escape sequences can be
controlled on a per-font basis.  If there is a glyph named `\|' or `\^',
respectively (note the leading backslash), defined in the current font
file, use this glyph's width instead of the default value.

This behaviour is not new, but hasn't been documented before.

Nroff
-----

o Two new command line options `-w' and `-W' are accepted and passed to
groff to enable and disable warning messages, respectively.

Preconv
-------

o This is a new preprocessor to convert various input encodings to something
groff understands (this is, ASCII and \[uXXXX] entities, with `XXXX' a
hexadecimal number with 4 to 6 digits, representing a Unicode input code).
Normally, preconv should be invoked with options `-k' and `-K' of groff.
See the preconv man page for details.

Pic
---

o int(x) now really behaves as documented: It truncates the non-integer part
of x, this is, it rounds towards zero and not towards the next integer
less than or equal to x.

o Pic now supports up to 32 macro arguments (and up to 16 on EBCDIC
  platforms).

o Heinz-J
`yslanted', which can change the shape of boxes into arbitrary
  parallelograms.

Tbl
---

o Latest versions of DWB tbl introduced an `x' column specifier for a single
column expanded to the line width.  GNU tbl has now been extended to
support even multiple `x' specifiers within a table.

o To avoid collision with the new `x' specifier, a block formatting macro
must now be selected with specifier letter `m'.

Eqn
---

o Eric S. Raymond has added a new device type to eqn, MathML.  When
-TMathML is enabled, eqn now emits MathML formula markup rather than
groff commands.  The new groff -Txhtml device uses this.

Chem
----

o The preprocessor `chem' was added.  `chem' is a roff language to generate
chemical structure diagrams.  It generates `pic' output.

Grops
-----

o The PS font definition files have been regenerated with newer AFM versions
from Adobe's 35 core fonts as present in most Level 2 PS printers.  The
changes are minor (most notably, the addition of the `Euro' glyph and an
  extended set of kerning values).

For backwards compatibility, the old set of font definition files is still
available; for details please read the man page of grops.

Grotty
------

o \D'p...' is now supported if the polygon consists entirely of horizontal
  and vertical lines.

Grohtml
-------

o XHTML support has been added.

o New command line option `-V' (to be used in XHTML mode) to produce an
  XHTML validator button.

o New command line option `-y' to produce a right-justified groff signature
at the end of the document (in combination with option `-V').

Gxditview
---------

o Support for keyboard navigation has been improved.

o Similar to other X11 applications, there are now two resource files,
  `GXditview' and `GXditview-color'.

Groffer
-------

o `groffer' version 1.* exists now in a shell and a Perl version.

Afmtodit
--------

o New option `-c' to output more font information as comments.

o New option `-k' to suppress output of kerning data.

o New option `-f NAME' to set the internal name of the groff font.

Macro Packages
--------------

o Joachim Walsdorff contributed the `hdtbl' package for the generation of
tables, using a syntax very similar to the HTML table model.  For
example, a table with two cells and two rows looks like this:

    .TBL cols=2
    .  TR .TD 1*1 .TD 1*2
    .  TR .TD 2*1 .TD 2*2
    .ETB

Here the same table using a more expanded syntax:

    .TBL cols=2
    .  TR
    .    TD 1*1
    .    TD 1*2
    .  TR
    .    TD 2*1
    .    TD 2*2
    .ETB

Tables can be nested; `hdtbl' works without a preprocessor so that the
full capability of groff's macro engine is available.

This package currently works with `-Tps' only.

o -mandoc now supports multiple man pages (in either man or mdoc format).

o Fabrice M
possible to get French localization of the main macro packages (-ms, -mm,
-me, and -mom, but not -man and -mdoc which are localized differently) by
appending `-mfr' to the list of macro packages.  Example:

groff -ms -mfr foo > foo.ps

Note that latin-9 input encoding is used for French (to support the `oe'
  ligature).

o Swedish macro localization (with `-msv') has been added.

o German macro localization (with `-mde' and `-mden' for traditional and
new orthography, respectively) has been added.

o Czech macro localization (with `-mcs') has been added.

Note that latin-2 input encoding is used for Czech.

o A new macro `Dx' has been added to the mdoc package which identifies the
  DragonFly OS.

o If mdoc is used to print multiple man pages (together with the -rcR=0
command line option), each man page now starts a new page.

o -mtrace has been considerably improved, now showing number and string
register assignments, among other things.  See the groff_trace man page
  for details.

o The PSPIC macro now works with all devices (producing a hollow
rectangle on devices which don't support inclusion of PS images) and
is loaded in troffrc at start-up.

o A new auxiliary macro package `62bit' has been added which provides some
macros for adding, multiplying, and dividing signed 62bit integers (mainly
to handle normal groff number operations without risking overflow errors).

o For -ms, Eric S. Raymond contributed support for ancient Bell Labs
localisms `.SC', `.UC', `.P1', and `.P2'.  The latter three are enabled
  only after .SC is called.

o A new string, `SN-STYLE', has been added to the ms macros, controlling
the formatting of section numbers in headings defined by `.NH'.

o The new macro package `ptx' provides a template definition for the `.xx'
macro as needed by GNU ptx (for creating permuted indices).

Shut up pkglint about $(...).  What do I care about Solaris, though?

- Drop maintainership
- Add USE_DESTDIR support, with a very hackish way of working around apxs's
limitations.  I'm sure someone will be bothered enough adding the proper
feature to apxs, but in the meantime...

Initial import of bash3 -- latest version of bash-3 branch.

Since two people already asked for it, here's the package, but
maintainer is set to pkgsrc-users.

Bash is an sh-compatible shell that incorporates useful features from
the Korn shell (ksh) and C shell (csh). It is intended to conform to
the IEEE POSIX P1003.2/ISO 9945.2 Shell and Tools standard.

It offers functional improvements over sh for both programming and
interactive use; these include command line editing, unlimited size
command history, job control, shell functions and aliases, indexed
arrays of unlimited size, and integer arithmetic in any base from two
to sixty-four. In addition, most sh scripts can be run by Bash without
modification.

This package contains the outdated version 3 of bash.
