Add dhcpcd-dbus

(roy)

2009-03-05 23:43:08 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Import dhcpcd-dbus-0.3.0

dhcpcd-dbus provides DBus bindings for dhcpcd.
It also provides a DBus interface for wpa_supplicant if wpa_supplicant
has been configured to use /var/run/wpa_supplicant as it's socket
directory. This means that wpa_supplicant does not have to be built
with DBus support.

Update to 3.1.2

Changes since 3.1.2rc1
* None.

Changes since 3.1.2b1
* Fix handling of domain-search option to append "." as already done with 4.x.

Changes since 3.1.1
* A double-dereference in dhclient transmission of DHCPDECLINEs was repaired.
* Fix handling of -A and -a flags in dhcrelay; it was failing to expand packet size as needed to add relay agent options.
* Corrected list of failover state values in dhcpd man page.
* Fixed a bug that caused some request types to be logged incorrectly.
* Fixed a coredump when adding a class via OMAPI.
* Clients that sent a parameter request list containing the routers option before the subnet mask option were receiving only the latter. Fixed.
* The server wasn't always sending the FQDN option when it should.
* A partner-down failover server no longer emits 'peer holds all free leases' if it is able to newly-allocate one of the peer's leases.
* A cosmetic bug in DHCPDECLINE processing was fixed which caused all successful DHCPDECLINEs to be logged as "not found" rather than "abandoned".
* Some failover debugging #defines have been better defined and some high frequency messages moved to a deeper debugging symbol.
* The CLTT parameter in failover is now only updated by client activity, and not by failover binding updates (taking on the peer's CLTT).
* Failover BNDUPD messages are now discarded if they conflict with an update that has been trasnmitted, but not acknowledged.
* A bug cleaning up unknown-xxx temporary option definitions was fixed.

Changes since 3.1.1rc2
* None.

Changes since 3.1.1rc1
* Changes in 4.0.x to common/options.c "pretty_domain()" (which turns wireformat rfc1035 into printable form for dhclient.leases) were pulled down. This addresses a bug where "option domain-search , ;" would appear in dhclient.leases.
* Changes in 4.0.x to common/tables.c "option_dereference()" were pulled down. This addresses a bug where overlapping option code definitions in a config file may cause an attempt to free a NULL pointer.

Changes since 3.1.1b1
* A memory leak when using omapi has been fixed.

Import libgee-0.1.5 as devel/libgee.

libgee is a collection library providing GObject-based interfaces and classes
for commonly used data structures.

libgee provides the following interfaces:

    * Iterable
          o Collection
                + List
                + Set
    * Iterator
    * Map

The ArrayList, HashSet, and HashMap classes provide a reasonable sample
implementation of the List, Set, and Map interfaces. ReadOnlyCollection,
ReadOnlyList, ReadOnlySet, and ReadOnlyMap are read-only wrapper classes that
prevent modification of the underlying collection.

libgee is written in Vala and can be used like any GObject-based C library.
It's planned to provide bindings for further languages.

Import vala-0.5.7 as lang/vala.

Vala is a new programming language that aims to bring modern programming
language features to GNOME developers without imposing any additional
runtime requirements and without using a different ABI compared to
applications and libraries written in C.

valac, the Vala compiler, is a self-hosting compiler that translates
Vala source code into C source and header files. It uses the GObject
type system to create classes and interfaces declared in the Vala source
code. It's also planned to generate GIDL files when gobject-
introspection is ready.

Engine_pkcs11 is a PKCS#11 engine for OpenSSL. It can be loaded using code,
config file or command line and will pass any function call by openssl to a
PKCS#11 module.

Engine_pkcs11 is meant to be used with smart cards and software for using
smart cards in PKCS#11 format, such as OpenSC. Originaly this engine was a
part of OpenSC, until OpenSC was split into several small projects for
improved flexibility.

Updated sysutils/duplicity to 0.5.10

(tnn)

2009-03-05 17:40:04 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to duplicity-0.5.10.

New in v0.5.10 (2009/03/01)
---------------------------
The default filename format has changed from W3 style to a long
numeric style, YYYYMMDDTHHMMSSZ, with no delimiters, thus is now
compatible with Windows/Samba filesystems.  The time is UTC, not
local, so there will be no timezone or daylight savings time issues.

Duplicity still recognizes the old long filename format, and will
continue incremental backup chains if found.  The old format is
still available via the --old-filenames option (pending deprecation).

Users of --short-filenames or --time-separator should stop using these
options on their next full backup.  The new filenames are compatible
with your system.

The following options are pending deprecation and will be removed in a
future release:
    --time-separator
    --short-filenames
    --old-filenames

bug #19988: Incompatibility to Samba/SMB share
bug #25097: Allow listing files from any time, not just current time
bug #25550: Error codes do not propagate from log to exit status
bug #25308: Signatures orphaned if from another time zone
Bug #229826: duplicity crashed with ValueError in port()

New in v0.5.09 (2009/02/17)
---------------------------
FTP is now driven with pexpect rather than NcFTP utilities.
This closes the following bugs (and solves other problems):
bug #24741: ncftpls -x '' causes failure on Yahoo FTP server
bug #23516: duplicity/ncftpget not closing unlinked files, ...
bug #25509: Logic error in imapbackend.py [IMAP_SERVER]
bug #25512: [Patch] Retry on Imap failure
bug #25530: commandline passwd not working

New in v0.5.08 (2009/02/02)
---------------------------
Turns out going backwards in the license is not as easy as
forwards.  Restoring GPLv3 license until consensus reached.

New in v0.5.07 (2009/01/31)
---------------------------
bug #25293: IOError: [Errno 22] Invalid argument
bug #25379: sys.exit() causes traceback and should not
bug #25403: 0.5.06 "manifests not equal, different volume numbers"
patch #6729: New imap backend. Replaces current gmail backend
patch #6730: Fix timing out for SSH backend
patch #6733: Improve error handling in imapbackend.py

Increase default volume size (--volsize) to 25M from 5M.  This
reduces the number of volumes to accomodate larger backups.

Reworked patch 6701 to list collection one at a time rather than
writing all as one huge list.  Was causing memeory problems when
the collections got large.

Fix backendtest.py so that empty URL's in config.py cause the
backend test to be skipped rather than erroring.  Added notes
in config.py.tmpl explaining the change.

Add/update copyright statements in all distribution source files
and revert duplicity to GPL version 2 license.

Original fix to disallow use of ncftpput 3.2.0 mistyped the ErrorCode
used and resulted in an error rather than an explanation.

New in v0.5.06 (2009/01/09)
---------------------------
Fix to deprecation warnings about sha and md5 modules.
Uses hashlib if available, otherwise original module.

Added loop to run-all-tests.sh to run all tests against all supported
versions of Python if available.  Looks for 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.6.

Noah Spurrier has given us permission to distribute pexpect.py along
with duplicity, so this will no longer be an install requirement.

NcFTP version 3.2.0 will not work with duplicity since we require the
use of both -f and -C options on ncftpput.  3.1.9, 3.2.1+ work fine.
I put in error checks for this situation in the FTP backend code.

bug #25230: --include-globbing-filelist only including first entry.

---------------------------
bug #25194: Duplicity 5.04 requires python-distutils-extra...

New in v0.5.04 (2008/12/27)
---------------------------
patch #6678: Add progress metering

bug #25090: Typos and trailing whitespace in duplicity manpage
bug #24889: NCFTP cannot deal with some FTP servers

This is a package for the NetBSD (currently i386 5.0) binaries of
the OpenJDK 7 kit.

Many thanks to christos@ for the port and jmcneill@ for compiling up
the binaries in the first place.

This is not intended to preclude a real package that builds openjdk7
from source, but can hopefully serve as a useful bootstrap jdk for
that and other purposes.

Import libproxy version 0.2.3.

libproxy is a library that provides automatic proxy configuration management.

libproxy offers the following features:

    * extremely small core footprint (< 35K)
    * no external dependencies within libproxy core (libproxy plugins may
      have dependencies)
    * only 3 functions in the stable external API
    * dynamic adjustment to changing network topology
    * a standard way of dealing with proxy settings across all scenarios
    * a sublime sense of joy and accomplishment

(rillig)

2009-03-03 08:58:23 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Updated splint to 3.1.2.

Changes since 3.1.1:

Declarations of intptr_t and uintptr_t

The standard library declares the intptr_t and uintptr_t types
incorrectly. They are declared as int * and unsigned int *,
but should be integral types (large enough to hold a pointer)
    instead.

(Reported by David Sanderson, 25 Sep 2004. Fixed in development
    standard.h.)

Mode help

Splint crashes when run with -help weak or another mode flag.

(Reported by Clive Bach, 27 July 2004. Fixed in CVS 28 July 2004.)

Missing va_copy

The standard library is missing va_copy.

(Reported by Roland Illig, 21 May 2004. Fixed in CVS, 21 May 2004.)

Shifting in pre-processor expressions

Splint will report an internal error for a preprocessor expression
that shifts a negative value. This should produce a warning message
    instead.

(Reported by Dirk Herrmann, 10 Nov 2003. Fixed in CVS, 18 May 2004,
but no warning message added yet.)

gmtime and localtime

The return type is incorrectly specified as /*@null@*/ in the
standard library. gmtime and localtime are guaranteed to return
    non-null values.

(Reported by Terry Colligan, 30 Oct 2003. Fixed in CVS, 2 Nov 2003.)

Redefining __func__

Splint will report an internal bug if built in special definitions
    like __func__ are redefined.

(Reported by Terry Colligan, 28 Oct 2003. Fixed in CVS, 28 Oct 2003.)

Pragma Line Numbers

    Splint does not count

    #pragma ...

    lines in the line number.

(Reported by Scott Frazer, 27 Oct 2003. Fixed in CVS, 27 Oct 2003.)

Files Unclosed in Win32

Options that involve writing messages to files do not work in Win32.
The check that all files are closed was somehow copied to a location
    it shouldn't be (llmain:830).

(Fixed in CVS 18 Sept 2003.)

Multi-dimensional Arrays

Splint does not interpret declarations of multidimensional arrays
correctly. A declaration like int a[][10] is misinterpreted as
    int a[10][].

(Reported by Bill Leahy, 15 Sept 2003. Fixed in CVS 15 Sept 2003.)

&& and || guards

Splint does not correctly interpret guards for non-boolean
    expressions in && and || clauses (e.g., if (s && t)).

(Reported by Andrew Bishop. Fixed in CVS 13 August 2003.)

scanf %x

Splint interprets %x in a scanf format string as an int *, but it
should be an unsigned int *.

(Reported by Andrew Bishop. Fixed in CVS 13 August 2003.)

+matchanyintegral and unsignedintegrals

When +matchanyintegral is set, splint should allow any int type to
    match an aribtrary unsigned integral.

(Reported by John Makecki. Fixed in CVS 18 July 2003.)

Shadow updates

When a variable declaration is shadowed, the sRef_updateSref
function will find the inner reference when there is an alias
    to the outer reference.

1.) Add binary and manual page symlinks which "CHECK_FILES" didn't catch

2.) Stop the install phase from creating "/usr/lib/lua/5.1" and writing
