py-test: updated to 6.2.3

pytest 6.2.3 (2021-04-03)
=========================

Bug Fixes
---------

- pytest used to create directories under ``/tmp`` with world-readable
  permissions. This means that any user in the system was able to read
  information written by tests in temporary directories (such as those created by
  the ``tmp_path``/``tmpdir`` fixture). Now the directories are created with
  private permissions.

  pytest used silenty use a pre-existing ``/tmp/pytest-of-<username>`` directory,
  even if owned by another user. This means another user could pre-create such a
  directory and gain control of another user's temporary directory. Now such a
  condition results in an error.

bpo-43710: Reverted the fix for https://bugs.python.org/issue42500 as it changed the PyThreadState struct size and broke the 3.9.x ABI in the 3.9.3 release (visible on 32-bit platforms using binaries compiled using an earlier version of Python 3.9.x headers).

Library
bpo-26053: Fixed bug where the pdb interactive run command echoed the args from the shell command line, even if those have been overridden at the pdb prompt.

biology/molsketch: update to 0.7.2

-This is just a small release to fix some issues with the (possibly) renamed
*.so/*.dll files after removing Qt5 support. In case you were using Molsketch
prior to version 0.7.1, it will ask you to update the corresponding settings at
start up.
For Windows users, there will be an online installer, as in version 0.7.1, but
this will now reside in a separate folder and not be updated as frequently as
Molsketch itself. Updates will instead be made available in the online
repository at github from which the installer will fetch them. Just start the
installer and select the update option

add games/valyriatear

Valyria Tear is an open-source single-player medieval-fantasy 2D J-RPG based
on an extended Hero of Allacrost engine and inspired by classic console
RPGs.

The player incarnates Bronann, a young boy forced to take part into the
struggle for the possession of a mysterious crystal. This powerful artifact
will lead him to discover the actual threat set upon his world, but also
courage and love.

The game has all the features you can expect from JRPG classics: entertaining
story development, colourful map exploration, active side-view battles,
character management, puzzles... It is also translated in several languages.

We need curl and openssl buildlinked if BUILD_TARGET is "build".
This is because in that case we're not using the rust-internal
copies of those libraries, governed by the rust-cargo-static option.

Change rust-cargo-static condition on NetBSD.
Key off BUILD_TARGET instead of whether we're cross-building,

py-setuptools: updated to 54.2.0

v54.1.2

Misc
* Reduced scope of dash deprecation warning to Setuptools/distutils only -- by :user:`melissa-kun-li`

v54.1.1

Documentation changes
* Added sphinx-inline-tabs extension to allow for comparison of setup.py and its equivalent setup.cfg -- by :user:`amy-lei`

Misc
* Made option keys in the [metadata] section of setup.cfg case-sensitive. Users having uppercase option spellings will get a warning suggesting to make them to lowercase -- by :user:`melissa-kun-li`

v54.1.0

Changes
* Removed the conversion of dashes to underscores in the extras_require and data_files of setup.cfg to support the usage of dashes. Method will warn users when they use a dash-separated key which in the future will only allow an underscore. Note: the method performs the dash to underscore conversion to preserve compatibility, but future versions will no longer support it -- by :user:`melissa-kun-li`

v54.0.0

Breaking Changes
* Simplified build-from-source story by providing bootstrapping metadata in a separate egg-info directory. Build requirements no longer include setuptools itself. Sdist once again includes the pyproject.toml. Project can no longer be installed from source on pip 19.x, but install from source is still supported on pip < 19 and pip >= 20 and install from wheel is still supported with pip >= 9.

Changes
* Handled AttributeError by raising DistutilsSetupError in dist.check_specifier() when specifier is not a string -- by :user:`melissa-kun-li`
* Correctly parse cmdclass in setup.cfg.

Documentation changes
* Added userguide example for markers in extras_require -- by :user:`pwoolvett`

v53.1.0

Changes
* Preserved case-sensitivity of keys in setup.cfg so that entry point names are case-sensitive. Changed sensitivity of configparser. NOTE: Any projects relying on case-insensitivity will need to adapt to accept the original case as published. -- by :user:`melissa-kun-li`
* Fixed error in uploading a Sphinx doc with the upload_docs command. An html builder will be used. Note: upload_docs is deprecated for PyPi, but is supported for other sites -- by :user:`melissa-kun-li`

v53.0.0

Breaking Changes
* Removed bootstrap script. Now Setuptools requires pip or another pep517-compliant builder such as 'build' to build. Now Setuptools can be installed from Github main branch.

v52.0.0

Breaking Changes
* Remove fallback support for fetch_build_eggs using easy_install. Now pip is required for setup_requires to succeed.
* Removed 'easy_install' top-level model (runpy entry point) and 'easy_install' console script.
* Removed support for eggsecutables.

Changes
* Tests now run in parallel via pytest-xdist, completing in about half the time. Special thanks to :user:`webknjaz` for hard work implementing test isolation. To run without parallelization, disable the plugin with tox -- -p no:xdist.

python39: updated to 3.9.3

Python 3.9.3 final

Security
bpo-42988: CVE-2021-3426: Remove the getfile feature of the pydoc module which could be abused to read arbitrary files on the disk (directory traversal vulnerability). Moreover, even source code of Python modules can contain sensitive data like passwords. Vulnerability reported by David Schwörer.
bpo-43285: ftplib no longer trusts the IP address value returned from the server in response to the PASV command by default. This prevents a malicious FTP server from using the response to probe IPv4 address and port combinations on the client network.

Code that requires the former vulnerable behavior may set a trust_server_pasv_ipv4_address attribute on their ftplib.FTP instances to True to re-enable it.
bpo-43439: Add audit hooks for gc.get_objects(), gc.get_referrers() and gc.get_referents(). Patch by Pablo Galindo.

Core and Builtins
bpo-43660: Fix crash that happens when replacing sys.stderr with a callable that can remove the object while an exception is being printed. Patch by Pablo Galindo.
bpo-43555: Report the column offset for SyntaxError for invalid line continuation characters. Patch by Pablo Galindo.
bpo-43517: Fix misdetection of circular imports when using from pkg.mod import attr, which caused false positives in non-trivial multi-threaded code.
bpo-35883: Python no longer fails at startup with a fatal error if a command line argument contains an invalid Unicode character. The Py_DecodeLocale() function now escapes byte sequences which would be decoded as Unicode characters outside the [U+0000; U+10ffff] range.
bpo-43406: Fix a possible race condition where PyErr_CheckSignals tries to execute a non-Python signal handler.
bpo-42500: Improve handling of exceptions near recursion limit. Converts a number of Fatal Errors in RecursionErrors.

Library
bpo-43433: xmlrpc.client.ServerProxy no longer ignores query and fragment in the URL of the server.
bpo-35930: Raising an exception raised in a “future” instance will create reference cycles.
bpo-43577: Fix deadlock when using ssl.SSLContext debug callback with ssl.SSLContext.sni_callback().
bpo-43521: ast.unparse can now render NaNs and empty sets.
bpo-43423: subprocess.communicate() no longer raises an IndexError when there is an empty stdout or stderr IO buffer during a timeout on Windows.
bpo-27820: Fixed long-standing bug of smtplib.SMTP where doing AUTH LOGIN with initial_response_ok=False will fail.

The cause is that SMTP.auth_login _always_ returns a password if provided with a challenge string, thus non-compliant with the standard for AUTH LOGIN.

Also fixes bug with the test for smtpd.
bpo-43332: Improves the networking efficiency of http.client when using a proxy via set_tunnel(). Fewer small send calls are made during connection setup.
bpo-43399: Fix ElementTree.extend not working on iterators when using the Python implementation
bpo-43316: The python -m gzip command line application now properly fails when detecting an unsupported extension. It exits with a non-zero exit code and prints an error message to stderr.
bpo-43260: Fix TextIOWrapper can not flush internal buffer forever after very large text is written.
bpo-42782: Fail fast in shutil.move() to avoid creating destination directories on failure.
bpo-37193: Fixed memory leak in socketserver.ThreadingMixIn introduced in Python 3.7.

Documentation
bpo-43199: Answer “Why is there no goto?” in the Design and History FAQ.
bpo-43407: Clarified that a result from time.monotonic(), time.perf_counter(), time.process_time(), or time.thread_time() can be compared with the result from any following call to the same function - not just the next immediate call.
bpo-27646: Clarify that ‘yield from <expr>’ works with any iterable, not just iterators.
bpo-36346: Update some deprecated unicode APIs which are documented as “will be removed in 4.0” to “3.12”. See PEP 623 for detail.

Tests
bpo-37945: Fix test_getsetlocale_issue1813() of test_locale: skip the test if setlocale() fails. Patch by Victor Stinner.
bpo-41561: Add workaround for Ubuntu’s custom OpenSSL security level policy.
bpo-43288: Fix test_importlib to correctly skip Unicode file tests if the fileystem does not support them.

Build
bpo-43631: Update macOS, Windows, and CI to OpenSSL 1.1.1k.
bpo-43617: Improve configure.ac: Check for presence of autoconf-archive package and remove our copies of M4 macros.

macOS
bpo-41837: Update macOS installer build to use OpenSSL 1.1.1j.

IDLE
bpo-42225: Document that IDLE can fail on Unix either from misconfigured IP masquerage rules or failure displaying complex colored (non-ascii) characters.
bpo-43283: Document why printing to IDLE’s Shell is often slower than printing to a system terminal and that it can be made faster by pre-formatting a single string before printing.

gegl: Update to 0.4.30

Changelog:
GEGL-0.4.30 2021-03-27
----------------------

Build:
~~~~~~
libjpeg and libpng are now required.
Reduce babl requirement to 0.1.78, it is *highly* recommended to build with
a newer babl though despite it being what wants to increase the meson
version requirement. Improved gir build options, fixes for cross compilation.
Large improvements of integration of tests with meson. XML tests are now
outputting in TAP format. As well as many related cleanups of tests that have
been in a state of slight bitrot since the migration to meson.
Upload meson logs as artifcats, use release and debugoptimized build types.
Pin glibc package in arch CI build to a version before it hard depends on linux
4.4.
New Operations:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  negative-darkroom: This operation is for artists who use hybrid workflow
  technique of analog photography. After scanning a developed negative, this
  operation is used to invert the scan to create a positive image by simulating
  the light behaviour of darkroom enlarger and common photographic papers.

Operations:
~~~~~~~~~~~
  jpg-load,png-load,tiff-load: show ICC relatd problems as warnings.
  rgbe-load : fix handling of exponent=0 in RLE encoded files.
  color-reduction : Added blue-noise modes, the patents are expired for some
  years already, also added fix to levels parameters; enabling bi-level.
  fattal02 : ensure gaussian pyramid has at least one level.
  paint-select (in workshop): multi-level banded graphcut, sub-region rather
    than full buffer rcomputations and other improvements.
GEGL-0.4.28 2020-12-20
----------------------
Core:
~~~~~

Infrastructure to opt out of listing ops with unmet runtime dependencies.

Build:
~~~~~~
Set vapi metadata better under meson. Make graphviz' dot library is a run-time
not build time dependency.
Operations:
~~~~~~~~~~~

gegl:convert-space and gegl:cast-space operations fixed, and added to build.
icc:load new operation that treats .icc files as images, permitting loading a
space into the graph from file.

Workshop:
~~~~~~~~~
New operation paint-select for an foreground select tool in development.
doc: Updated graphics/xfig to 3.2.8
(fcambus)
2021-04-02 19:32:21 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML
xfig: update to 3.2.8.
Patchlevel 8 (Dez 2020)
USER INTERFACE CHANGES:
o Shift + Wheel Up pans left, Shift + Wheel Down pans right.
  Alt or Meta + Wheel Up pops up the edit panel, Alt or Meta + Wheel
  Down pops up the drawing panel. Previously, Shift + Wheel Up or Down
  popped up the edit or drawing panel, respectively, and panning
  sideways could only be achieved by moving the wheel sideways.
NEW FEATURES:
o To display gif image files, either giftopnm and ppmtopcx from the
  netpbm package, imagemagick, or graphicsmagick must be installed.
o Obey the resolution given in embedded png, tiff and jpeg image files.
o Embedded image files are displayed in full color, not reduced to
  a maximum of 256 colors.
o Display embedded pdf files.
BUGS FIXED:
o Read version 1.3 fig files.
o The default resolution of embedded raster images is changed
  from 80 dpi to 72 dpi.
o Read compressed files, but do not silently uncompress them.
o Get correct bounding box (/MediaBox) of embedded pdf files.
fig2dev: Update to 3.2.8.
Patchlevel 8 (Dec 2020)
NEW FEATURES:
o Use deflate to embed image data into eps output, often substantially
  reducing file size.
o Embed pdf files into ps output by converting the pdf to eps.
o Allow negative arrow widths. This might be useful for asymmetric arrow
  tips, which can thus be mirrored around the corresponding line.
BUGS FIXED:
Ticket numbers refer to https://sourceforge.net/p/mcj/tickets/#.
o Reject negative text font sizes. Fixes ticket #86.
o Allow fig files ending without previous eol character. Fixes #83, #84.
o Accept text and ellipse angles only within -2*pi to 2*pi. Fixes #76.
o Allow -1 as default TeX font, not only 0. Fixes #71, #75, #81.
o Do not allow ASCII NUL anywhere in input. Fixes #65, #68, #73, #80.
o Use getline() to improve input scanning.
  Fixes tickets #58, #59, #61, #62, #67, #78, #79, #82.
o Correctly scan embedded pdfs for /MediaBox value.
o Convert polygons having too few points to polylines. Ticket #56.
o Reject huge arrow types causing integer overflow. Ticket #57.
o Allow Fig v2 text strings ending with multiple ^A. Ticket #55.
o Embed images in pdfs with their original compression type, i.e., leave
  the gs switch "-dAutoFilterColorImages" at its default value "true".
doc: removed gcc49, gcc48
(nia)
2021-04-02 11:56:16 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML
remove gcc48/gcc49.
use of these packages was disabled in the pkgsrc infrastructure in
january because they were causing problems on platforms with older
compilers that can build gcc6 just fine:
glibc + FORTIFY + gcc48,gcc49,gcc5 = build failures.
gcc48 and newer require a c++98 compiler, same as all gcc versions up
to 11, so are not useful for bootstrapping.
gcc5 has additional Ada bits, someone needs to determine if they're
useful before it can go.
x11/wxGTK31: import wxGTK31-3.1.4
wxWidgets is a set of libraries that allows C++ applications to compile and
run on several different types of computer, with minimal source code changes.
There is one library per supported GUI (such as Windows, GTK+, Motif, and Mac).
As well as providing a common API (Application Programming Interface) for GUI
functionality, it provides functionality for accessing some commonly-used
operating system facilities, from copying and deleting files to socket and
thread support. wxWidgets is a 'framework' in the sense that it provides a lot
of built-in functionality, which the application can use or replace as required,
thus saving a great deal of coding effort. Basic data structures such as
strings, arrays, linked lists and hash tables are also supported.
Such a toolkit is not unique - there are others to choose from - but wxWidgets
is free, well-established, well-documented, and very broad in its coverage of
GUI functionality. It has some extras that make it stand out from the crowd,
such as the many convenience dialogs, built-in HTML display and printing,
virtual filesystems, easy-to-use OLE automation controller class, Open GL
support, and many other features that make it easier to write modern and
user-friendly applications.
This package contains the 3.1 branch of the library.
dbus-glib 0.112 (2021-03-26)
============================
The “haunted teacup” release.
dbus-glib version control is now hosted on freedesktop.org's Gitlab
installation, and bug reports and feature requests have switched from
Bugzilla bugs (indicated by "fd.o #nnn") to Gitlab issues
("dbus-glib#nnn") and merge requests ("dbus-glib!nnn"). See README and
CONTRIBUTING.md for more details.
Dependencies:
• dbus 1.8 was already required, but is more strongly required now:
  the workarounds that were used to run continuous integration with dbus
  1.6 on Ubuntu 14.04 'trusty' have been removed. (Note that dbus 1.8
  has already reached end-of-life for security support, and newer dbus
  stable branches are strongly recommended.)
• pkg-config 0.28 is required when building from git
Enhancements:
• Rewrite CONTRIBUTING.md document, based on Wayland's equivalent
  (Simon McVittie, with thanks to Ander Conselvan de Oliveira,
  Bryce Harrington, Eric Engestrom, Pekka Paalanen and Daniel Stone
  for their contributions to the equivalent file in Wayland)
• A generated ChangeLog file, which made up a significant proportion of
  the size of source tarball releases, is no longer included. Please
  refer to the git repository at
  https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/dbus/dbus-glib for detailed change
  history. (Simon McVittie)
• Improve man page (dbus-glib!1, Alan Coopersmith)
• Add test coverage for fd.o#80557 (dbus-glib#1, Simon McVittie)
• Use more modern GLib assertions in unit tests
  (dbus-glib#16, dbus-glib!3, dbus-glib!4; Simon McVittie)
• Improve continuous integration to be run by GitLab in addition to
  Travis-CI (Simon McVittie)
• Add clearer license information using SPDX-License-Identifier
  (Simon McVittie)
Fixes:
• Allow glib-genmarshal to be overridden with
  `./configure GLIB_GENMARSHAL=/path/to/glib-genmarshal`, for
  cross-compilation (dbus-glib!2, Yann E. MORIN)
• Avoid a double-free in dbus-binding-tool for certain inputs, possibly
  involving nested introspection data structures (dbus-glib#9, Zhipeng Xie)
• Report a better error for excessive recursion depth or unsupported
  data types (dbus-glib#1, Simon McVittie)
• Map the 15 most-recently-added DBusGError members to their corresponding
  D-Bus error names (dbus-glib#1, Simon McVittie)
• Mark all documented symbols as deprecated
  (Simon McVittie)
• Fix unit test failures during distcheck by enabling assertions
  (Simon McVittie)
• Fix a core dump during installed-tests by not attempting to close a
  shared DBusConnection (Simon McVittie)
doc: Updated sysutils/py-borgbackup to 1.1.16
(wiz)
2021-04-01 17:04:23 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML
py-borgbackup: update to 1.1.16.
Version 1.1.16 (2021-03-23)
---------------------------
- 1.1.15 drops python 3.4 support, minimum requirement is 3.5 now.
Fixes:
- setup.py: add special openssl prefix for Apple M1 compatibility
- do not recurse into duplicate roots, #5603
- remove empty shadowed_segments lists, #5275, #5614
- fix libpython load error when borg fat binary / dir-based binary is invoked
  via a symlink by upgrading pyinstaller to v4.2, #5688
- config: accept non-int value (like 500M or 100G) for max_segment_size or
  storage_quota, #5639.
  please note: when setting a non-int value for this in a repo config,
  using the repo will require borg >= 1.1.16.
New features:
- bundled msgpack: drop support for old buffer protocol to support Python 3.10
- verbose files cache logging via --debug-topic=files_cache, #5659.
  Use this if you suspect that borg does not detect unmodified files as expected.
- create/extract: add --noxattrs and --noacls option, #3955.
  when given with borg create, borg will not get xattrs / ACLs from input files
  (and thus, it will not archive xattrs / ACLs). when given with borg extract,
  borg will not read xattrs / ACLs from archive and will not set xattrs / ACLs
  on extracted files.
- diff: add --json-lines option, #3765
- check: debug log segment filename
- borg debug dump-hints
Other changes:
- Tab completion support for additional archives for 'borg delete'
- repository: deduplicate code of put and delete, no functional change
- tests: fix result order issue (sporadic test failure on openindiana)
- vagrant:
  - upgrade pyinstaller to v4.2, #5671
  - avoid grub-install asking interactively for device
  - remove the xenial box
  - update freebsd box to 12.1
- docs:
  - update macOS install instructions, #5677
  - use macFUSE (not osxfuse) for Apple M1 compatibility
  - update docs for dev environment installation instructions, #5643
  - fix grammar in faq
  - recomend running tests only on installed versions for setup
  - add link back to git-installation
  - remove /var/cache exclusion in example commands, #5625.
    This is generally a poor idea and shouldn't be promoted through examples.
  - add repology.org badge with current packaging status
  - explain hash collision
  - add unsafe workaround to use an old repo copy, #5722
- Optimized ``--skeleton`` generation time.
- Renamed internal option ``--dfa`` to ``--nested-negative-tags``.
- Updated documentation for end of input handling and submatch extraction.
doc: Updated emulators/mame to 0.230
(wiz)
2021-04-01 12:22:38 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML
mame: update to 0.230.
Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for MAME 0.230! There are big
changes this month, but before we get to that, let窶冱 highlight some
of the more routine additions. Several TV games featuring adaptations
of popular Hasbro board games are now supported, as well as a couple
of VTech systems featuring Dora the Explorer. Several electronic
toys and handheld LED game from Mattel and Invicta have been emulated
this month. There窶冱 a big update for the Apple II software lists
this month, with clean cracks of lots of educational software from
MECC.
If you窶况e been following along with development, you窶决e no doubt
excited about the new Yamaha OPM/OPN (YM2151, YM2203, YM2608,
YM2610, YM2610B, YM2612, and YM3438) sound emulation core. This
addresses numerous subtle and not-so-subtle issues, particularly
in Sega and Data East games. Windy Fairy and Jennifer Taylor have
continued to improve MAME窶冱 support for Konami rhythm games, making
beatmania IIDX, Beatmania III, Keyboardmania and ParaParaParadise
games playable. Thanks to Happy, a couple more graphics issues with
the Hyper Neo Geo 64 have been fixed.
There窶冱 been a lot of work on the Apple IIgs and 68k Mac drivers
this month. As well as the flood of machines promoted to working,
Apple 3.5" floppy support has been revolutionised, and improvements
to ADB GLU microcontroller simulation make the IIgs control panel
usable. On the console side, save EEPROM support has been fixed
for several Mega Drive games.
