CHANGELOG
=========
1.8.0

I would like to take this chance to announce the immediate availability of
SWORD release 1.8.0. I know this release has been a long time in coming,
but the long time comes with lots of benefits for users, developers, and
maintainers. The benefits to users and developers are mentioned elsewhere,
throughout the code and other places. The main benefit to maintainers is
that, now, there are automated tests in place and the release process is
now automated. This means that future releases on that 1.8 branch can be
easily executed whenever needed. Have a Merry Christmas, everyone! And keep
your eyes open for a 1.8.1 in the not too distant future to fix up
buildings in the binding code. Otherwise, you can get the code you're
looking for below:

(devel/p5-Perl-Tidy) Updated  from 20181120 to 20190915

## 2019 09 15
    - fixed issue RT#130344: false warning "operator in print statement"
      for "use lib".

    - fixed issue RT#130304: standard error output should include filename.
      When perltidy error messages are directed to the standard error output
      with -se or --standard-error-output, the message lines now have a prefix
      'filename:' for clarification in case multiple files
      are processed, where 'filename' is the name of the input file.  If
      input is from the standard input the displayed filename is '<stdin>',
      and if it is from a data structure then displayed filename
      is '<source_stream>'.

    - implement issue RT#130425: check mode.  A new flag '--assert-tidy'
      will cause an error message if the output script is not identical to
      the input script. For completeness, the opposite flag '--assert-untidy'
      has also been added.  The next item, RT#130297, insures that the script
      will exit with a non-zero exit flag if the assertion fails.

    - fixed issue RT#130297; the perltidy script now exits with a nonzero exit
      status if it wrote to the standard error output. Prevously only fatal
      run errors produced a non-zero exit flag. Now, even non-fatal messages
      requested with the -w flag will cause a non-zero exit flag.  The exit
      flag now has these values:

        0 = no errors
        1 = perltidy could not run to completion due to errors
        2 = perltidy ran to completion with error messages

    - added warning message for RT#130008, which warns of conflicting input
      parameters -iob and -bom or -boc.

    - fixed RT#129850; concerning a space between a closing block brace and
      opening bracket or brace, as occurs before the '[' in this line:

      my @addunix = map { File::Spec::Unix->catfile( @ROOT, @$_ ) } ['b'];

      Formerly, any space was removed. Now it is optional, and the output will
      follow the input.

    - fixed issue git#13, needless trailing whitespace in error message

    - fixed issue git#9: if the -ce (--cuddled-else) flag is used,
      do not try to form new one line blocks for a block type
      specified with -cbl, particularly map, sort, grep

    - iteration speedup for unchanged code.  Previously, when iterations were
      requested, at least two formatting passes were made. Now just a single pass
      is made if the formatted code is identical to the input code.

    - some improved vertical alignments

## 2019 06 01
    - rt #128477: Prevent inconsistent owner/group and setuid/setgid bits.
      In the -b (--backup-and-modify-in-place) mode, an attempt is made to set ownership
      of the output file equal to the input file, if they differ.
      In all cases, if the final output file ownership differs from input file, any setuid/setgid bits are cleared.

    - Added option -bom  (--break-at-old-method-breakpoints) by
      merrillymeredith which preserves breakpoints of method chains. Modified to also handle a cuddled call style.

    - Merged patch to fix Windows EOL translation error with UTF-8 written by
      Ron Ivy. This update prevents automatic conversion to 'DOS' CRLF line
      endings.  Also, Windows system testing at the appveyor site is working again.

    - RT #128280, added flag --one-line-block-semicolons=n (-olbs=n)
      to control semicolons in one-line blocks.  The values of n are:
        n=0 means no semicolons termininating simple one-line blocks
        n=1 means stable; do not change from input file [DEFAULT and current]
        n=2 means always add semicolons in one-line blocks
      The current behavior corresponds to the default n=1.

    - RT #128216, Minor update to prevent inserting unwanted blank line at
      indentation level change.  This should not change existing scripts.

    - RT #81852: Improved indentation when quoted word (qw) lists are
      nested within other containers using the --weld-nested (-wn) flag.
      The example given previously (below) is now closer to what it would
      be with a simple list instead of qw:

      # perltidy -wn
      use_all_ok( qw{
          PPI
          PPI::Tokenizer
          PPI::Lexer
          PPI::Dumper
          PPI::Find
          PPI::Normal
          PPI::Util
          PPI::Cache
      } );

    - RT#12764, introduced new feature allowing placement of blanks around
      sequences of selected keywords. This can be activated with the -kgb*
      series of parameters described in the manual.

    - Rewrote vertical algnment module.  It is better at finding
      patterns in complex code. For example,

OLD:
          /^-std$/ && do { $std      = 1;    next; };
          /^--$/  && do { @link_args = @argv; last; };
          /^-I(.*)/ && do { $path = $1 || shift @argv; next; };

NEW:
          /^-std$/  && do { $std      = 1;                next; };
          /^--$/    && do { @link_args = @argv;            last; };
          /^-I(.*)/ && do { $path      = $1 || shift @argv; next; };

    - Add repository URLs to META files

    - RT #118553, "leave only one newline at end of file". This option was not
      added because of undesirable side effects, but a new filter script
      was added which can do this, "examples/delete_ending_blank_lines.pl".

Add breezy (brz), a successor to bazaar (bzr).

Breezy (brz) is a decentralized revision control system, designed to be
easy for developers and end users alike.

By default, Breezy provides support for both the `Bazaar
<https://www.bazaar-vcs.org>`_ and `Git <https://www.git-scm.com/>`_ file
formats.

To learn how to use Breezy, see the official documentation in the `doc`
directory or refer to the Bazaar documentation at
<https://www.breezy-vcs.org/doc/en/>.

Breezy is a friendly fork of the Bazaar (``bzr``) project, hosted on
http://bazaar.canonical.com/. It is backwards compatibility with
Bazaar's disk format and protocols. One of the key differences with
Bazaar is that Breezy also runs on Python 3.3 and later, in addition to
Python 2.7.

* The repmgr configuration file is now parsed using flex, meaning it will be parsed in the same way as PostgreSQL parses its own configuration files.
* repmgr standby clone: checks for availability of the repmgr extension on the upstream node have been improved and error messages improved.
* When executing repmgr remotely, if the repmgr log level was explicitly provided (with -L/--log-level), that log level will be passed to the remote repmgr.
* Bug fixes

(rillig)

2019-10-26 09:51:48 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

pkgtools/pkglint: update to 19.3.2

Changes since 19.3.1:

* Pkglint no longer warns about a missing :Q modifier if there is also
  a :D modifier, since the latter hides the original variable value
  from the expression value.

* Variable names like .CURDIR are now allowed in the _VARGROUPS section.

* In dependency lines like "${_COOKIE.extract}:", pkglint no longer
  warns about the unknown target. No matter whether this is a file name
  or even a list of other targets, there's no chance for a typo here.

* If some dependencies are included conditionally, and the package
  Makefile and buildlink3.mk disagree, and the conditions depend on
  PKG_OPTIONS, pkglint outputs a helpful explanation.

* The check for including builtin.mk directly can be disabled by giving
  a reason in a comment at the end of the line.

doc: Updated net/unifi to 5.11.50

(gdt)

2019-10-25 14:48:02 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

net/unifi: Update to 5.11.50

Updating note: This is major update from 5.10.x, and for me, it wanted
to restore from an internal backup.  So as is always good advice, back
up everything before you start in case.  And for this, if you can do
an in-app backup just before, that may reduce lossage of historical
data.

Release Notes for 5.11.46 (upstream does not reliably publish findable
release notes).

    Java 8 must be installed on the system hosting the controller
    software. Java 9 and later are not yet supported.

    Minimum supported device firmware for UAP/USW is 4.0.9, and for
    USG its 4.4.34 multi-tenanted instances will be force-upgraded
    (for the greater good), single-tenanted instances can opt to defer
    the controller upgrade for up to 90 days.

    If you have any service dns forwarding options configuration
    defined in config.gateway.json, it will overwrite the provisioning
    of statically defined name servers, leaving you with no
    DNS. Either remove the service dns forwarding options portion of
    config.gateway.json, or add additional options lines defining
    name servers, such as server=1.1.1.1, server=8.8.8.8, etc.

    PoE passthrough control was implemented for UAP-IW-HD which means
    that the default for PoE passthrough is now disabled instead of
    enabled. If you were using this feature before then you will need
    to re-enable it via the device property panel.

    (Many bugfixes.)

devel/accerciser: import accerciser-3.34.0

Accerciser is an interactive Python accessibility explorer for the
GNOME desktop. It uses AT-SPI2 to inspect and control widgets,
allowing you to check if an application is providing correct
information to assistive technologies and automated test frameworks.
Accerciser has a simple plugin framework which you can use to create
custom views of accessibility information.

In essence, Accerciser is a next generation at-poke tool.

editors/gedit: import gedit-3.22.1nb10

gedit is a small and lightweight UTF-8 text editor.  It is part of
GNOME and uses the latest GTK+ and GNOME libraries.  Complete GNOME
integration is featured, with support for Drag and Drop (DnD) from
Nautilus (the GNOME file manager), the use of the GNOME help system,
the GNOME Virtual File System and the GNOME print framework.

gedit uses a Multiple Document Interface (MDI), which lets you edit
more than one document at the same time.  It supports most standard
editing features, plus several not found in your average text editor
(plugins being the most notable of these).  Plugins may also be
written in the python scripting language: to enable python support
you need the pygtk and gnome-python-desktop bindings.

www/p5-HTTP-Tiny-Mech: import p5-HTTP-Tiny-Mech-1.001002

This code is somewhat poorly documented, and highly experimental.

Its the result of a quick bit of hacking to get MetaCPAN::API working
faster via the WWW::Mechanize::Cached module ( and gaining cache
persistence via CHI )

It works so far for this purpose.

At present, only "get" and "request" are implemented, and all other
calls fall through to a native HTTP::Tiny.

v1.13.1
* deprecate the way to declare in cdef() a global variable with only void *foo;. You should always use a storage class, like extern void *foo; or maybe static void *foo;. These are all equivalent for the purposes of cdef(), but the reason for deprecating the bare version is that (as far as I know) it would always be mistake in a real C header.
* fix the regression RuntimeError: found a situation in which we try to build a type recursively.
* fixed issue 427 where a multithreading mistake in the embedding logic initialization code would cause deadlocks on CPython 3.7.

Add explicit support for layout engine escape sequences such as ``\l`` and

escaping in ``0.12``, which is reverted by this release. Escaping now resembles
the stdlib ``re`` module: literal backslashes need to be escaped (doubled),
which is most conveniently done by using raw string literals for strings that
use escape sequences (including escaped backslashes), e.g. ``label=r'\\'``.

Add ``escape()`` function (resembling ``re.escape()``) for disabling all
meta-characters in a string for rendering.

Use ``logging`` in example notebook, add notebooks demonstrating layout engines
and escape sequence usage, improve tests with parametrization.

py-test-runner: updated to 5.1

5.1:
Surgically restore support for older setuptools versions.

5.0
Prefer pyproject.toml

Refresh package metadata.

This release now intentionally introduces the changes unintionally brought about in 4.5 and 4.3, where the adoption of declarative config adds a new requirement on setuptools 30.4 or later. On systems running older setuptools, installation of pytest-runner via easy_install (or setup_requires), will result in a DistributionNotFound exception.

All projects should pin to pytest-runner < 5 or upgrade the environment to setuptools >= 30.4 (prior to invoking setup.py).

py-test5: updated to 5.2.2

pytest 5.2.2:

Bug Fixes
- Fix ``--nf`` to not forget about known nodeids with partial test selection.
- Fix crash with ``KeyboardInterrupt`` during ``--setup-show``.
- Fixed issue when parametrizing fixtures with numpy arrays (and possibly other sequence-like types).
- Properly ignore ``FileNotFoundError`` exceptions when trying to remove old temporary directories,
  for instance when multiple processes try to remove the same directory (common with ``pytest-xdist``
  for example).

update libtasn1 to version 4.14:
* Noteworthy changes in release 4.14 (released 2019-07-21) [stable]
- New #defines for version checking: ASN1_VERSION_MAJOR, ASN1_VERSION_MINOR,
  ASN1_VERSION_PATCH, ASN1_VERSION_NUMBER. The next release will switch
  to semantic version semantics.
- Simplify ordering of SET OF elements by using qsort().
- Marked explicitly const uses of asn1_node with the introduction
  of the (compatible) asn1_node_const type.
- Limit recursion in _asn1_expand_object_id() to detect infinite
  recursion in incorrect .asn files (#4).
- asn1_array2tree(): fixed thread safety issues.
- Several fixes in gtk-doc generation.
