mk/subst.mk: substitute embedded newlines, escape dots in variable names

(rillig)

2019-03-17 11:28:13 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

regress/subst: demonstrate that SUBST_VARS doesn't pass newlines

Sure, it's an edge case and has not been necessary until now.
Nevertheless it's good to see how this can be done.

Variables having dots in their names are also not handled completely
correct. This also didn't occur in practice since the variable names
passed to SUBST_VARS are usually A-Za-z0-9_ only.

(wiz)

2019-03-17 08:04:00 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

libXdmcp: update to 1.1.3.

This release provides a fix for CVE-2017-2625 for platforms which don't have
arc4random_buf() in their default libraries but do have getentropy(), such
as Linux platforms with a kernel version of 3.17 or newer and a glibc version
of 2.25 or newer.  (libXdmcp 1.1.2 already ensured that arc4random_buf()
is used on platforms that have it to provide sufficient entropy in XDMCP
key generation, but left other platforms with the weaker methods.  Linux
platforms could also have linked against libbsd to use arc4random_buf()
with libXdmcp 1.1.2 for stronger keys.)

Update to 1.1.1

Upstream changes:
1.1.1: (doi: 10.5281/zenodo.1040770)

    General:
Tests pass with numpy 1.14 (see #2044).
Map plots now also work with matplotlib >= 2.2 (see #2089).
    obspy.core:
UTCDateTime now raises a meaningful exceptions when passing invalid or
out-of-bounds 'julday' during initialization (see #1988)
Fix pickling of traces with a sampling rate of 0 (see #1990)
read_inventory() used with non-existing file path (e.g. typo in filename)
now shows a proper "No such file or directory" error message (see #2062)
Fix Trace.times(type='matplotlib') being slow (see #2112)
read_events() and read_inventory() now trial most common plugins first
(QuakeML/StationXML, ...) in case of automatic file format detection (i.e.
when file type was not explicitly specified, see #2113)
Event instances with Origin instances that have do not have defined
latitude/longitude attributes will no longer raise a TypeError when
creating a string representation (see #2119 and #2127).
Fix Stream.get_gaps() when a trace is completely overlapping another trace
        (see #2218).
Fix Exception when comparing ComparingObjects (see #2220).
Fix UTCDateTime.strftime() when year is <1900 on Python 2 (see #2167)
Inventory objects are more convenient to create now. Network, station, and
channel codes can now be optional. Additionally the source parameter of
inventories must no longer be specified at init time (see #2307, #2314).
    obspy.clients.arclink:
Raise a warning at import time that the ArcLink protocol will be
        deprecated soon (see #1987).
    obspy.clients.fdsn:
Mass downloader: Priority lists are now correctly overwritten if channel
        and/or location are set (see #1810, #2031, #2047).

Updated www/drupal8 to 8.6.12

(wen)

2019-03-16 13:15:03 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 8.6.12

Upstream changes:
8.6.12
The third-party Twig library, which powers Drupal 8's theme system, recently released new versions (Twig 1.38.0 and 1.38.1) that introduced a fatal error for Drupal 8 sites using Composer. Drupal 8.6.11 was released yesterday with an update to Twig 1.38.2 in order to resolve that error. However, this update also led to a different regression for certain Drupal 8 themes that use Twig {% embed %} tags. This release hotfixes Drupal 8 to resolve that regression. No other changes are included.

8.6.11
This release resolves two critical issues affecting Drupal 8 site updates:

The third-party Twig library, which powers Drupal 8's theme system, recently released a new minor version (1.38.0) that introduced a fatal error when used with Drupal 8. As a result, Drupal 8 sites managed with Composer encountered this fatal error when updating Twig to version 1.38.0 or 1.38.1. This release updates Drupal to require Twig 1.38.2, which resolves the fatal error.

The recent releases for SA-CORE-2019-003 introduced a serialized data integrity issue affecting some contributed and custom modules, including the Default Content and Paragraphs modules. This release resolves the issue for affected sites.

Additionally, this release resolves an administrator-only access bypass with the Layout Builder module. Previously, users who didn't have access to view individual entities were still granted access to configure the layout for that entity (if per-entity layout configuration was enabled) and therefore could view its content. This implicit access has been removed. Site owners should ensure that all content editor roles have access to view the content for which they are configuring the layout.

2019-03-16 09:17:09 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Add monocypher version 2.0.5

Monocypher is an easy to use crypto library. It is:

- Small. Sloccount counts about 1700 lines of code, small enough to
allow audits. The binaries are under 65KB.
= Easy to deploy. Just add monocypher.c and monocypher.h to your
project. They compile as C99 or C++, have no dependency, and
are dedicated to the public domain.
- Easy to use. The API is small, consistent, and cannot fail
on correct input.
- Fast. The primitives are fast to begin with, and performance
wasn't needlessly sacrificed. Monocypher holds up pretty well
against Libsodium, despite being closer in size to TweetNaCl.

Known issue

Due to a packaging mistake, the modules.d configuration directory
is installed in the wrong path in the Metricbeat DEB and RPM
packages. This issue results in an empty list when you run metricbeat
modules list and failures when you try to enable or disable modules.
To work around this issue, run the following command:

sudo cp -r /usr/share/metricbeat/modules.d /etc/metricbeat/

This issue affects all new installations on DEB and RPM. Upgrades
will run, but use old configurations defined in the modules.d
directory from the previous installation.

The issue will be fixed in the 6.4.1 release.

Updated sysutils/syslog-ng to 3.17.2nb1

(bouyer)

2019-03-15 10:04:00 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

syslog-ng overloads sigaction() with its own version, and calls the libc
sigaction() with a dlsym call. On NetBSD this ends up calling the compatibility
sigaction() which fails with ENOSYS if COMPAT_13 is not in the kernel.
Even with COMPAT_13 it would be incorrect because we call the compat
sigaction() with the non-compat arguments.

On NetBSD, fix this by calling explicitely __libc_sigaction14().

games/{simgear,flightgear,flightgear-data}: Update to 2018.3.2.

Usability

    Flightplan loading within the launcher.
Chinese, Russian and Italian translations for the launcher and UI
Improved support for the state of the aircraft depending on starting location - cold and dark on the ramp, engine running ready for take-off on the runway, or in cruise flight.

Input

Improved joystick configuration and binding options.

AI / Multiplayer

Multiple Levels of Detail (LoD) for MP and AI aircraft. To improve performance, low-detail models are used when the viewer is far from the MP aircraft.
Fallback models to display in the case where a viewer does not have the MP aircraft installed.
Many improvements to AI models including new liveries, timetabled movements

Graphics

Support for retrieving Canvas images over HTTP. This is a useful feature for displaying instruments like a PFD, ND, EICAS or any MFD externally from the FlightGear 3D main window in a separate window or on a separate monitor, computer or a mobile device. See Read_canvas_image_by_HTTP for more information.
Improved cloud rendering with stronger Mie scattering on cloud fringes, improved scattering on cirrus clouds
    Reset: wipe the Effect UniformCache

Scenery

Improved scenery for Hawaii, the default location for this release.
New scenery for Jan Mayen, situated northeast of Iceland. Including the active volcano of Beerenberg (2277m).

JSBSim

The feature fail_hardover of the <actuator> component was not giving the correct output in some occurences when clipmax was smaller in absolute value than clipmin.
Tables CORNERING_COEFF could not be used for BOGEY contact points.
Bug fixes for JSBSim atmosphere model at very high altitudes
Fixed PID integration with the 3rd order Adams-Bashforth was inccorect.
The fail_stuck property of sensors (accelerometers, magnetometers, gyro, etc.) without a <lag> element was setting the output to zero instead of sticking to the last output value.
When a sensor was stuck, the drift, gain, bias and quantization of the last output before being stuck were ignored.
Fixed the Calibrated Air Speed (CAS) computations for supersonic velocities
Fixed the Nlf (Normal load factor) sign
Nlf can now be specified as an initial condition via the property ic/targetNlf
Added blocking sockets to the input features
Added a property to piston engines to get the AFR (Air to Fuel Ratio)
Added conversion from m/s to ft/s
Restored the initial conditions for engines running (-1 means all engines)

Significant Aircraft Updates

py-foolscap: updated to 0.13.1

Release 0.13.1

This release adds a minor feature to "flappclient": it now pays attention to
a pair of environment variables named $FOOLSCAP_TOR_CONTROL_PORT and
$FOOLSCAP_TOR_SOCKS_PORT. If set, the client will install a connection
handler that routes "tor:" -type FURLs through a Tor daemon at the given
ports (both of which are endpoint descriptors, e.g. "tcp:localhost:9050").

To use this, install the "tor" extra, like "pip install foolscap[tor]". If
this extra was not installed (e.g. "txtorcon" is not importable), the
environment variables will be ignored.

This release also improves the reliability of the unit test suite
(specifically test_reconnector) on slower systems.

Release 0.13.0

This release fixes compatibility with the latest Twisted-17.9.0 and changes
the way logfiles are encoded.

Foolscap's "flogtool" event-logging system can be configured to serialize log
events into "Incident Files". In previous versions, these were serialized
with the stdlib "pickle" module. However a recent change to Twisted's
"Failure" class made them unpickleable, causing Foolscap's unit test suite to
fail, and also affect applications which foolscap.logging.log.msg() with
Failures as arguments. And untrusted pickles were unsafe to load anyways.

This release replaces pickle with JSON, making it safe to use "flogtool"
utilities on untrusted incident files. All new incident files created by this
version will use JSON, and all tools (e.g. "flogtool dump") can only handle
JSON-based files.

This also resolves a problem with tox-2.9.0, which caused tests to not run at
all because nothing was installed into the test environment.
