doc: Updated databases/p5-App-Sqitch to 1.4.0

(schmonz)

2023-08-02 12:06:16 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

Update to 1.4.0. From the changelog:

- Fixed Snowflake warehouse and role setup to properly quote identifiers
unless they're valid unquoted identifiers or already quoted. Thanks to
  @marc-marketparts for the report (#685).
- Fixed a bug reworking a change when a rework directory is configured
but not created. Thanks to @jfeaver for the report (#686).
- Output the list of changes to be deployed or reverted when `--verbose`
is specified at least twice. Thanks to @vectro for the PR (#702).
- Fixed the formatting of the log and plan commands to allow empty or `0`
separators in lists of things (such as `%{0}t` for a list of tags).
Thanks to @web-vertalo for the pull request (#703).
- Updated the MySQL Tutorial to use 5.7 features. Thanks to Vlad
  Safronov for the PR (#705).
- Deprecated the `no_prompt` and `no_prompt` attributes of
App::Sqitch::Engine in favor of passing booleans to the `revert` and
`verify` methods. The attributes still exist for reverse compatibility,
but now emit warnings and will be removed in the future. Thanks to
Thanks to @vectro for the PR (#704).
- Added a warning for a double extension on the file names created
by the `add` command. Thanks to @blairjordan for the PR (#724)!
- Added the `revert.strict` boolean configuration variable which, when
set to true, requires the specification of a change to revert to. It
also disables the `rebase` and `checkout` commands, though the
`rebase.strict` and `checkout.strict` variables, respectively, may
override it. Use `revert.strict` to prevent accidental reverts in
sensitive environments. Thanks to @vectro for the PR (#719; revised in
  #735)!
- Fixed test failures due to a bug fix in the Perl URI module
(libwww-perl/URI#13). Thanks to @bobfang for the report (#744)!
- Fixed test failures due to a change in the generation of DBI DSN by
  URI::Oracle introduced by libwww-perl/URI-db#23.
- Added a format option `%F` to `sqitch plan` that prints the path for
the deploy file for each migration in the plan.
- Changed the default location for the Oracle `sqlplus` client when the
`ORACLE_HOME` environment variable is set. It now returns either
`$ORACLE_HOME/bin/sqlplus` or `$ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus` if it exists
and is executable (and ends in `.exe` on Windows). Otherwise it simply
returns `sqlplus` as before, assuming it will be found in the path.
Thanks to @vectro for the suggestion (#747).
- Increased the required version of DBI to 1.631 or higher and removed
a MySQL engine workaround for older versions.
- Added detection of a missing registry schema on connect and conditions
to avoid querying it when it does not exist. Fixes an issue where
Sqitch might find a project record in the current schema instead of the
expected registry schema. Thanks to @vectro for the report and
  investigation (#668)!
- Fixed Snowflake and MySQL to properly raise errors on session query
  failures immediately after connection.
- Fixed the handling of unique violations for deploy script hash
uniqueness so that it no longer returns a database error but properly
reports the issue in a more human-friendly error message. Thanks to
Stefan Badenhorst for the reminder (#630).
- Updated the registry SQL scripts for Vertica to always enable primary
key and unique constraints. Unique constraints are now enabled for
all database engines except Exasol and Snowflake.
- Dropped support for Vertica 7.1, as unique constraint enforcement was
  not added until Vertica 7.2.
- Increased minimum SQLite versions to 3.8.6, when unique constraint
  enforcement was added.
- Removed remaining uses of the smartmatch operator, thus eliminating
the Perl 5.38 warnings about its deprecation. (#769)
- Added Cockroach to the list of valid engines recognized in command-line
arguments (and a test to ensure new engines won't be omitted in the
future). Thanks to @NOBLES5E for the spot (#772)!

* Fix ``SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH`` in multi-line copyright footer.
  Patch by B辿n辿dikt Tran.

Release 7.1.0 (released Jul 24, 2023)
=====================================

Incompatible changes
--------------------

* Releases are no longer signed, given the `change in PyPI policy`_.

.. _change in PyPI policy: https://blog.pypi.org/posts/2023-05-23-removing-pgp/

Deprecated
----------

* Emit warnings on using a deprecated Python-specific index entry type
  (namely, ``module``, ``keyword``, ``operator``, ``object``, ``exception``,
``statement``, and ``builtin``) in the :rst:dir:`index` directive, and
set the removal version to Sphinx 9. Patch by Adam Turner.

Features added
--------------

* Add a checksum to JavaScript and CSS asset URIs included within
generated HTML, using the CRC32 algorithm.
* :meth:`~sphinx.application.Sphinx.require_sphinx` now allows the version
requirement to be specified as ``(major, minor)``.
* Allow configuring a line-length limit for object signatures, via
  :confval:`maximum_signature_line_length` and the domain-specific variants.
If the length of the signature (in characters) is greater than the configured
limit, each parameter in the signature will be split to its own logical line.
This behaviour may also be controlled by options on object description
  directives, for example :rst:dir:`py:function:single-line-parameter-list`.
Patch by Thomas Louf, Adam Turner, and Jean-Franå·½ois B.
* Support for multiline copyright statements in the footer block.
  Patch by Stefanie Molin
* ``sphinx.util.display.status_iterator`` now clears the current line
with ANSI control codes, rather than overprinting with space characters.
* linkcheck: Treat SSL failures as broken links.
  Patch by James Addison.
* Keep the ``translated`` attribute on translated nodes.
* Improve the traceback displayed when using :option:`sphinx-build -T`
in parallel builds. Patch by B辿n辿dikt Tran
* linkcheck: Use session-basd HTTP requests.
* Add support for the :rst:dir:`py:class` and :rst:dir:`py:function`
directives for PEP 695 (generic classes and functions declarations) and
PEP 696 (default type parameters).  Multi-line support is enabled
for type parameters list and can be locally controlled on object description
  directives, e.g., :rst:dir:`py:function:single-line-type-parameter-list`.
  Patch by B辿n辿dikt Tran.
* linkcheck: Allow HTML anchors to be ignored on a per-URL basis
  via :confval:`linkcheck_anchors_ignore_for_url` while
still checking the validity of the page itself.
  Patch by B辿n辿dikt Tran
* Add translation progress statistics and inspection support,
  via a new substitution (``|translation progress|``) and a new
  configuration variable (:confval:`translation_progress_classes`).
These enable determining the percentage of translated elements within
a document, and the remaining translated and untranslated elements.

Bugs fixed
----------

* Restored the ``footnote-reference`` class that has been removed in
the latest (unreleased) version of Docutils.
* Use :rfc:`8081` font file MIME types in the EPUB builder.
Using the correct MIME type will prevent warnings from ``epubcheck``
and will generate a valid EPUB.
* Use microsecond-resolution timestamps for outdated file detection
  in ``BuildEnvironment.get_outdated_files``.
* Top-level headings starting with a reStructuredText role
now render properly when :confval:`rst_prolog` is set.
Previously, a file starting with the below would have
improperly rendered due to where the prologue text
  was inserted into the document.

  .. code:: rst

    :mod:`lobster` -- The lobster module
    ====================================

    ...

  Patch by B辿n辿dikt Tran.
* Fix a ``MemoryError`` in ``sphinx.ext.intersphinx`` when using ``None``
or ``typing.*`` as inline type references. Patch by B辿n辿dikt Tran (picnixz)

Testing
-------

* Always delete ``docutils.conf`` in test directories when running
  ``SphinxTestApp.cleanup()``.

blosc2_remove_urlpath(const char *urlpath) does not return an error

Changes in CMake installer to conserve targets and properties
on install, so CMake users do not need to write FindBlosc2.cmake
files anymore. This also helps to preserve transitive dependencies on
CMake targets, especially useful for fully static builds, e.g., for
Python wheels.

Fix a couple of typos.

coreutils: updated to 9.3

* Noteworthy changes in release 9.3 (2023-04-18) [stable]

** Bug fixes

cp --reflink=auto (the default), mv, and install
will again fall back to a standard copy in more cases.
Previously copies could fail with permission errors on
more restricted systems like android or containers etc.
  [bug introduced in coreutils-9.2]

cp --recursive --backup will again operate correctly.
Previousy it may have issued "File exists" errors when
it failed to appropriately rename files being replaced.
  [bug introduced in coreutils-9.2]

date --file and dircolors will now diagnose a failure to read a file.
Previously they would have silently ignored the failure.
[This bug was present in "the beginning".]

md5sum --check again correctly prints the status of each file checked.
Previously the status for files was printed as 'OK' once any file had passed.
This also applies to cksum, sha*sum, and b2sum.
  [bug introduced in coreutils-9.2]

wc will now diagnose if any total counts have overflowed.
[This bug was present in "the beginning".]

`wc -c` will again correctly update the read offset of inputs.
Previously it deduced the size of inputs while leaving the offset unchanged.
  [bug introduced in coreutils-8.27]

Coreutils programs no longer fail for timestamps past the year 2038
on obsolete configurations with 32-bit signed time_t, because the
build procedure now rejects these configurations.
[This bug was present in "the beginning".]

** Changes in behavior

'cp -n' and 'mv -n' now issue an error diagnostic if skipping a file,
to correspond with -n inducing a nonzero exit status as of coreutils 9.2.
Similarly 'cp -v' and 'mv -v' will output a message for each file skipped
  due to -n, -i, or -u.

** New features

cp and mv now support --update=none to always skip existing files
in the destination, while not affecting the exit status.
This is equivalent to the --no-clobber behavior from before v9.2.

doc: Updated shells/nushell to 0.83.1

(pin)

2023-08-01 08:04:27 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

shells/nushell: update to 0.83.1

Nushell 0.83.1 (hot-fix)

A few days ago, we released the 0.83 version of Nushell. As you can see in the
release notes, the release included a major upgrade to the type system as well
as wide-reaching breaking changes.

Extensive efforts were made before the release to mitigate these changes to
make them easier to adopt when 0.93 was released, and included:
- quite a lot of command signatures have been updated to keep functionalities
at the same level while adding better type checking
- major integration scripts from 3rd-party applications have been fixed prior
  to the release

However, as you might have noticed and thanks to the feedback of you the
community, more issues and bugs have been found. Many commands needed additional
updates to play well with the updated type system. We decided to release a
hotfix release to address what had been found, and this is that release.
You can find out more about the hotfix in Tracking issue for 0.83.0 fixup #9812

What does the hot-fix release address?

Most of the type-system-related issues have been fixed, hopefully bringing most
of the command set of Nushell back to its previous feature level with the nice
addition of better input/output type checking and annotations. In a few places,
the type system itself was fixed, as with the case of $rest args now
type-checking correctly in a pipeline.

What will the hot-fix release NOT address?
Bring the let-env command back to life.

Thankfully, the community helped by updating their Nushell integrations and
releasing corresponding new versions.
Please, check your tools like starship for updates.
Fully fix the dataframe integration.

When upgrading the type system for the 0.83, we removed a semi-working system
that enabled the dataframe commands to run both in a lazy and eager mode, but
only if the types were known at parse-time. Due to the complexity of reworking
this and the dataframe support currently being a tier-two feature in Nushell,
we won't be able to fully fix this with this patch release. Thankfully @ayax79
started work in #9858 which promises to make the dataframe commands work again
within the general Nushell type system.

Breaking changes for plugin authors

With the type system changes in 0.83.0 any plugins that declared that their
signature "vectorizes_over_list": true were not able to automatically broadcast
their operation for a type T (e.g. number) over a list<T> input. With this patch
release, we removed this field from nu-protocol.

You need to add the list<T> signature if necessary. Also recompile your
plugins using nu-plugin 0.83.1 or remove the vectorizes_over_list field from
the signature information if you don't use nu-plugin (e.g. plugins not
implemented in Rust).

Breaking changes for plugin users

You may need to recompile or update your plugins and then re-register your
plugins.

py-markups: update to 4.0.0

There isn't much here of relevance to pkgsrc (as presently configured),
but we may as well track the latest version. This drops Python 3.8
support, but as its only dependant is editors/retext, this doesn't seem
concerning.

Version 4.0.0, 2023-01-16
=========================

Incompatible changes:

* Python versions older than 3.9 are no longer supported.
* Python-Markdown versions older than 3.0 are no longer supported.
* Setuptools 61.2 or higher is required to build the project.
* ``setup.py`` has been removed. Use ``pip``, ``build`` or other :PEP:`517`
  compatible tool.

Other changes:

* Added AsciiDocMarkup (contributed by Dave Kuhlman in #17).
* Made the tests pass with Pygments ≥ 2.11.
* Made the tests pass when PyYAML is not installed (#18).
* Reformatted code in accordance with :PEP:`8` standard.
* Fixed mypy errors and added a :PEP:`561` ``py.typed`` file.

biology/rna-star: Spliced Transcripts Align to a Ref

STAR (Spliced Transcripts Alignment to a Reference) aims to achieve
accurate alignment of high-throughput RNA-seq data.  STAR is based on
a previously undescribed RNA-seq alignment algorithm that uses
sequential maximum mappable seed search in uncompressed suffix arrays
followed by seed clustering and stitching procedure. STAR outperforms
other aligners by a factor of >50 in mapping speed, aligning to the
human genome 550 million 2 x 76 bp paired-end reads per hour on a modest
12-core server, while at the same time improving alignment sensitivity
and precision.

doc: Updated devel/binutils to 2.41

(fcambus)

2023-07-31 14:08:34 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

binutils: update to 2.41.

This release contains numerous bug fixes, and also the
following new features:

  In the assembler:
    * Add support for Intel FRED instructions.
    * Add support for Intel LKGS instructions.
    * Add support for Intel AMX-COMPLEX instructions.
    * Add SME2 support to the AArch64 port.
    * A new .insn directive is recognized by x86 gas.
    * Add support for LoongArch LSX instructions.
    * Add support for LoongArch LASX instructions.
    * Add support for LoongArch LVZ instructions.
    * Add support for LoongArch LBT instructions.
    * Initial LoongArch support for linker relaxation has been added.
    * Deprecate the LoongArch register aliases $v0, $v1, $x, $fv0 and $fv1.

  In the linker:
    * The linker now accepts a command line option of --remap-inputs
<PATTERN>=<FILE> to relace any input file that matches <PATTERN> with
<FILE>.  In addition the option --remap-inputs-file=<FILE> can be used to
specify a file containing any number of these remapping directives.

    * The linker command line option --print-map-locals can be used to include
local symbols in a linker map.  (ELF targets only).

    * For most ELF based targets, if the --enable-linker-version option is used
then the version of the linker will be inserted as a string into the .comment
      section.

    * The linker script syntax has a new command for output sections: ASCIZ "string"
This will insert a zero-terminated string at the current location.

    * Add command-line option, -z nosectionheader, to omit ELF section
      header.

  In the other binary tools:
    * The MIPS port now supports the Sony Interactive Entertainment Allegrex
processor, used with the PlayStation Portable, which implements the MIPS
II ISA along with a single-precision FPU and a few implementation-specific
      integer instructions.

    * Objdump's --private option can now be used on PE format files to display the
fields in the file header and section headers.

    * New versioned release of libsframe: libsframe.so.1.  This release introduces
versioned symbols with version node name LIBSFRAME_1.0.  This release also
updates the ABI in an incompatible way: this includes removal of
sframe_get_funcdesc_with_addr API, change in the behavior of
      sframe_fre_get_ra_offset and sframe_fre_get_fp_offset APIs.

    * SFrame Version 2 is now the default (and only) format version supported by
      gas, ld, readelf and objdump.

    * Add command-line option, --strip-section-headers, to objcopy and strip to
remove ELF section header from ELF file.

    * The RISC-V port now supports the following new standard extensions:
      - Zicond (conditional zero instructions)
      - Zfa (additional floating-point instructions)
      - Zvbb, Zvbc, Zvkg, Zvkned, Zvknh[ab], Zvksed, Zvksh, Zvkn, Zvknc, Zvkng,
Zvks, Zvksc, Zvkg, Zvkt (vector crypto instructions)

    * The RISC-V port now supports the following vendor-defined extensions:
      - XVentanaCondOps

    * The LoongArch port now supports the following extensions:
      - LSX (Loongson SIMD eXtension; 128-bit vectors)
      - LASX (Loongson Advanced SIMD eXtension; 256-bit vectors)
      - LVZ (Loongson Virtualization extension)
      - LBT (Loongson Binary Translation extension)

    * The LoongArch disassembly output received the following tweaks:
      - Colored output is now supported.
      - Some pseudo-instructions are now shown in place of the canonical forms,
where semantics are equivalent. A disassembler option '-M no-aliases' is
added to disable the new behavior.
      - Signed immediates are no longer printed with their hex representation.
      - Unrecognized instruction words are now shown with '.word'.

gotosocial: update to version 0.10.0

Changelog (taken from https://github.com/superseriousbusiness/gotosocial/releases/tag/v0.10.0):

v0.10.0 Shrimple Sloth
89ee9d5

Hello! We did a release! Here it is! We fixed a bunch of broken stuff and added some more stuff that's probably broken and which we'll have to fix in the future! 沽

As always, big thank you to all contributors and well-wishers, and those who use the software and help it grow. The sloth thanks you.
Highlights

LISTS: this has been one of the most frequently requested features for GoToSocial since forever, so we're happy to be able to include it now! With this release, you can create lists, delete lists, add/remove accounts from lists, and view list timelines in your client app. It works pretty OK!
Partial search implementation: previously, you could only use search to look for exact URLs (https://example.org/users/someone) or to look for users by their exact namestring (@someone@example.org). With this release, you can now also do partial text searches for:
statuses you've posted yourself (search in status content warning and body)
statuses posted in reply to you (search in status content warning and body)
accounts you don't yet follow (search in username and display name)
accounts you do follow (search in username, display name, and bio)
Profile field settings: you can now set up to 6 profile property/value fields in the settings panel.
Loads of bug fixes. We fixed some of the more annoying/longstanding bugs including missing profile + header pics, please see the section 'First run of media cleanup' below.

Migration notes
Upgrading

To upgrade to 0.10.0 from a previous release:
Binary/tar

    Stop GoToSocial
Untar the new release, including the web assets and html templates.
Edit your config.yaml file as necessary (see below).
    Start GoToSocial

Docker

    Stop GoToSocial.
Pull the new docker container (superseriousbusiness/gotosocial:0.10.0 or superseriousbusiness/gotosocial:latest)
    Start GoToSocial.

config.yaml

The configuration file has changed since the previous release. You can see a diff of the config file here: v0.9.0...v0.10.0#diff-c071e03510b2c57e193a44503fd9528a785f0f411497cc75841a9f8d0b1ac622
Database Migrations

This release contains several database migrations which will run the first time you start up this new version. Be sure not to interrupt this migration process. This will take anywhere between a couple seconds and ten minutes (on slower hardware). Please be patient!
First run of media cleanup

The first time your instance runs a media cleanup (normally at midnight every night), it will likely take a long time. We introduced some issues in 0.9.0 to do with avatars + headers, and the first media cleanup you do in this new version fixes those issues by iterating through all your stored media attachments and fixing ones whose file is missing. Just let it run, it will sort itself out!

2023-07-30 20:27:59 UTC MAIN commitmail json YAML

gleam: update to version 0.30.4

Changelog:

## v0.30.4 - 2023-07-26

- External implementations are always referenced directly in generated code, to
avoid the overhead of an extra function call.
- Fixed a bug where the compiler could infer incorrect generic type parameters
when analysing a module without type annotations with self recursive
functions that reference themselves multiple times.

## v0.30.3 - 2023-07-23

- Fixed a bug where JavaScript module path such as `node:fs` would be rejected.
- New Gleam projects are created with `gleam_stdlib` v0.30, Erlang OTP v26.0.2,
  Elixir v1.15.4, actions/checkout v3.5.1, and erlef/setup-beam v1.16.0.

## v0.30.2 - 2023-07-20

- Fixed a bug where the compiler could infer incorrect generic type parameters
when analysing a module without type annotations with self recursive
  functions.
- Fixed a bug where the formatter would incorrectly format external functions
by breaking the return annotation instead of the function arguments.

## v0.30.1 - 2023-07-13

- Fixed a bug where the language server could fail to import path dependencies
  in monorepos.

## v0.30.0 - 2023-07-12

- A warning is now emitted for the deprecated external fn syntax.

## v0.30.0-rc4 - 2023-07-10

- An error is now emitted for invalid JavaScript external implementations.
- Fixed a bug where Erlang external implementations could generate invalid code.

## v0.30.0-rc3 - 2023-07-05

- Fixed a bug where `gleam fix` would fail to parse command line flags.

## v0.30.0-rc2 - 2023-07-03

- Fixed a bug where `gleam fix` would merge external functions of the same name
  but incompatible types.
- Fixed a bug where external function arguments would incorrectly be marked as
  unused.

## v0.30.0-rc1 - 2023-06-29

- The new `@target(erlang)` and `@target(javascript)` attribute syntax has been
added for conditional compilation. The existing `if` conditional compilation
syntax has been deprecated. Run `gleam fix` to update your code.
- The new `type TypeName` syntax syntax replaces the `external type TypeName`
syntax. The existing external type syntax has been deprecated. Run `gleam format`
  to update your code.
- Adding a new dependency now unlocks the target package. This helps avoid
failing to find a suitable version for the package due to already being
  locked.
- A custom message can now be specified for `panic` with `panic as "..."`.
- The syntax for specifying a custom message for `todo` is now `todo as "..."`.
- The Erlang error raised by `let assert` is now tagged `let_assert`.
- Types named `Dynamic` are now called `dynamic_` in Erlang to avoid a clash
with the new Erlang `dynamic` type introduced in OTP26.
- Dependencies can now be loaded from paths using the
  `packagename = { path = "..." }` syntax in `gleam.toml`.
- The `javascript.deno.unstable` field in `gleam.toml` can now be used to
enable Deno's unstable APIs when targeting JavaScript.
- Blockquotes are now styled in rendered HTML documentation.
- The `gleam` property can be set in `gleam.toml` can be set to a version
requirement to specify the version of Gleam required to build the project.
- Type aliases can now refer to type aliases defined later in the same module.
- Fixed a bug where unapplied record constructors in constant expressions would
  generate invalid Erlang.
- Fixed a bug where the prescedence of `<>` and `|>` would clash.
- Fixed a bug where `gleam docs build` would print an incorrect path upon
  completion.
- Warnings from dependency packages are no longer surfaced in the language
  server.
- A warning is now emitted when a Gleam file is found with an invalid name.
- A warning is now emitted when using `list.length` to check for the empty list,
which is slow compared to checking for equality or pattern matching (#2180).
- The new `gleam remove <package_name>` can be used to remove dependencies
  from a Gleam project.
- Fixed a bug where the formatter could crash.
- Fixed a bug where invalid Erlang would be generated when piping into `panic`.
- The `gleam docs build` command gains the `--open` flag to open the docs after
  they are generated (#2188).
- Fixed a bug where type annotations for constants could not be written with
  type annotations.
- Updated font loading in generated HTML documentation to fix an issue with
fonts not loading properly in some browsers (#2209).

## v0.29.0 - 2023-05-23

- New projects now require `gleam_stdlib` v0.29.

## v0.29.0-rc2 - 2023-05-22

- The `gleam lsp` command is no longer hidden from the help output.
- Fixed a bug where some language server clients would show autocompletion
  suggestions too eagerly.

## v0.29.0-rc1 - 2023-05-16

- The language server will now provide autocomplete suggestions for types and
values either imported or defined at the top level of the current module.
- Fixed a bug where record patterns using the spread operator (`..`) to discard
unwanted arguments would not type check correctly when the record had no
  labelled fields.
- Add support for using sized binary segments in pattern matches when targeting
  JavaScript.
- A warning is now emitted for double unary negation on ints (`--`) and bools
(`!!`) as this does nothing but return the original value.
- Previously the build tool would discard the entire build directory when dependencies
were changed. Now it will only discard the build artefacts for removed
  dependencies.
- The errors emitted when a name is reused in a module have been made clearer.
- Fixed an incorrect URL in the error message for failing to parse a let binding
  with a type annotation.
- Fixed a bug where shadowing a prelude type name could result in incorrect
  errors in exhaustiveness checking.
- Fixed a bug where the language server would in some scenarios not remove an
error diagnostic after it becomes outdated.
- Fixed a bug where the formatter would incorrectly format blocks with a comment
before them that were the only argument to a function call.
- Fixed a bug where the language server would not reset the build directory when
it was created by a different version of Gleam.
- New Gleam projects are created with `erlef/setup-beam@v1.15.4` in their GitHub
  actions CI configuration.
- Running a module now uses the dependency's target and runtime in its `gleam.toml`.

py-apsw: updated to 3.42.0.1

3.42.0.1

Work with SQLite compiled with SQLITE_OMIT_DEPRECATED. Connection.setprofile() was changed from using the deprecated sqlite3_profile to sqlite3_trace_v2 giving the same results. When including the amalgamation, SQLITE_OMIT_DEPRECATED is defined. (APSW issue 443)

Shell updates adding various commands to match the SQLite shell, as well as code and documentation improvements. (APSW issue 397)

Added Connection.read() and apsw.ext.dbinfo() to provide information from the database and journal/wal files. The shell command .dbinfo displays it.

Added apsw.vfs_details(). The shell command .vfslist displays it.

Implemented VFS method xCurrentTimeInt64. The default SQLite VFS no longer provide xCurrentTime (floating point version) if SQLITE_OMIT_DEPRECATED is defined, so this is needed for inheritance to work. (APSW issue 451)

Backwards incompatible change: VFS If you override xCurrentTime, then you will need to override xCurrentTimeInt64 in the same way, or exclude xCurrentTimeInt64 in VFS, or use iVersion of 1.

speedtest now shows summary statistics, and improved help text. (APSW issue 444)

py-atpublic: updated to 4.0

4.0 (2023-06-05)
Drop Python 3.7 support
Remove public.install() which was used to inject the public and private functions into the builtins namespace. This isn窶冲 very helpful and could be actively harmful. Explicit is better than implicit.
The functional form of public() now returns the argument values in the order they are given. This allows you to explicitly bind those values to names in the global namespace. While this is redundant, it does solve some linter problems.
Switch from flake8 and isort to ruff for code quality.
Bump dependencies.

py-asgiref: updated to 3.7.2

3.7.2 (2023-05-27)
------------------

* The type annotations for SyncToAsync and AsyncToSync have been changed to
more accurately reflect the kind of callables they return.

3.7.1 (2023-05-24)
------------------

* On Python 3.10 and below, the version of the "typing_extensions" package
is now constrained to be at least version 4 (as we depend on functionality
  in that version and above)

3.7.0 (2023-05-23)
------------------

* Contextvars are now required for the implementation of `sync` as Python 3.6
is now no longer a supported version.

* sync_to_async and async_to_sync now pass-through

* Debug and Lifespan State extensions have resulted in a typing change for some
request and response types. This change should be backwards-compatible.

* ``asgiref`` frames will now be hidden in Django tracebacks by default.

* Raw performance and garbage collection improvements in Local, SyncToAsync,
  and AsyncToSync.
